Such a beautiful golf course! Would recommend to hire a golf buggy as the course has 18 holes and is quite hilly. Hitting onto the green of the 18th hole, the clubhouse looks absolutely stunning. Food is superb and staff are always friendly and willing to help. If your a golf enthusiast, this is a must to tick off your list.

The course has suffered in the three years since my last visit. Thick kikuyu has infested some of the greenside areas, the greens are ridiculously shaggy and slow and variable in pace. Possibly because they offer cut rate memberships and cheaper green fees, the amount of damage on the course really detracts from the experience. After spending a couple of minutes on every green repairing deep, fresh pitch marks, my putts would still bounce around on their way to the pin. A mid-course bathroom was in horrific condition. The course itself is not for the faint hearted or beginner. Dense scrub borders many holes and OOB fences run tightly next to some holes. There are several uphill, blind tee shots onto heavily contoured and sloping fairways. Deep fairway bunkers are positioned exactly where an off centre shot might go. Literally impenetrable vegetation borders some holes without lateral markers to offer you penalty relief, despite the fact that the fairway slopes that way. If you're lacking in confidence off the tee, it's going to be a long day, even more so if the breeze stiffens up. On the plus side, you really need to think your way around, blazing away mindlessly will bite you for sure. If you find your ball off the fairway, often it's unplayable and two club lengths isn't enough to help other give you a chance at knocking it out sideways. **************************** In reply to the owner's reply: I appreciate that it's been tough for some courses to keep up maintenance due to Covid, especially when their income has been cut deeply. And I think the course is a great experience overall. Some of the closing holes are super punishing and could use lateral penalty areas to ease the pain somewhat. My point about the annual fees: when rates are so low, my *guess* is that some who take up the offer don't have a strong sense of connection to the club so don't look after the course when they play. Casual vs committed. It's not your fault but people thinking of playing ER should be aware of it. It used to be MUCH better. And please, toilets need to be cleaned. Thoroughly.

My husband and I had a lesson with Jason earlier this week. He was fantastic - his communication was very clear and he was very encouraging and supportive. Most importantly we were hitting the ball so much better after just one lesson. Will definitely be going back for more lessons. Highly recommend.

Pretty disappointing. The course has a good and picturesque layout (although quite short) but the condition was really poor. Loads of plug marks on greens and bunkers rarely raked. This course obviously suffers from huge numbers if social golfers who don't know course maintenance etiquette. I phoned to book a tee slot for myself only. The booking process was easy and I wasn't really concerned about what time I played. I ended up behind a very large social group, including a group of 5. Consequently the back 9 was incredibly slow for me. I thought the lady who booked me in could have advised me about the social groups and suggested a different tee time to avoid such traffic Take plenty of balls if you got them crooked like me!!

As a golf course this place looks beautiful. For a wedding it was nice. I'm not sure about having golfers in every photo or having them drive through the visitors while waiting for the wedding to begin or allowing strangers to stand around gauking and talking during the ceremony. The service and attractiveness of the staff once the wedding was underway was wonderful. They were efficient. I felt the bathroom facilities mildly lacking with only 2 stalls in the ladies room however there could have been more at the other end of the building but I couldn't wander that far. The food was good. The dining/ball room was pretty but overheated quickly. Overall a nice place but for a wedding it could do with some minor upgrades. Like access to the tower for photos and closing off the wedding areas to golfers more effectively.

By the end of my tee shot on the first this place was 0 stars, but the 3rd my swing improved and I would give the course 3 stars. On the 6th I hit a spectacular birdie - 5 STARS BABY! From their it was downhill... But I did hit a beautiful approach shot and putted out nicely on the final hole, so yes I guess I'll be back for more punishment!

This place could be 4 or even 5 stars if only is was run better and they swapped out the dicky little constructs on course and manicured it better. However they don't seem too busy or charge enough to ever get the revenue they would need to make it so. The shock is the very poor food options despite the many dining tables. The highlight are the golf carts - these are the best I have ever ridden in - amazingly comfortable and well built. This is a fun round of golf. Give it a go but have lunch beforehand.

This course can be challenging on some holes, but I would consider it one of my favorites even though I would be considered a bit of a hacker. I would certainly recommend it to any one who has played a reasonable amount and at least has an average handicap. Some of the holes can look a bit scary, in particular one of the par 3's, while not requiring a huge hit, you have to hit over a deep gully while avoiding a maze of bunkers. I would recommend giving it a try.

RAINE & HORNE CORPORATE GOLF ⛳ DAY. We have had our annual golf day here now for several years. Course is always in an excellent condition and whilst challenging also the course is forgiving. Service and food after game is always excellent. A great venue for any function.
