E. E.We had a fun night attending the launch event of Hotel Animal and Doss Blockos D Draft beer. This bar pays homage to all the great of rockers that died too soon. There was a number of my favourites on the walls and in the music chosen for the evening. Food wise we were treated to beef sliders, hotdogs, jalapeño poppers and onion rings which went down perfectly with a great tasting beer or two. Upstairs is a social media backdrop paradise like you’ve never seen before in Melbourne. Crack Den styling and plenty of visually out there rooms for you to explore. Pick the famous quotes from the graffiti on the walls. Definitely a great event and venue well suited to its King Street location.
a. P.Ah man if you like music and proper rock n roll this is the spot! They have actual 27 Club shrines to all the classic rock legends who passed away at the age of 27 like Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Cobain etc. Super cool place, great fit out, staff, food and drinks.

L. M.My favourite local. Unpretentious, reasonably priced drinks ($8.50 Shiraz at high tide? That's bowls club prices), friendly staff and customers and banging tunes. A true gem.
