Excellent place for a function lunch. Staff were exceptional in making sure everyone was served promptly. Food tasted great with a large range of salad served in a buffet style luncheon. The Prickly Moses beer, which is brewed locally, was a pleaded drink. A great location. Well worth a visit.

Great place for beers, ciders and pizzas. Need I say more? The wood fired pizzas are made with lots of love, the owner is friendly and talked about the Italian wood fired oven in detail. Pizzas are made using local ingredients and top notch tipo 00 flour from Italy! The balcony is a lovely spot to sip on the beers and relax, while kids can run in the gardens. Highly recommend while visiting otways!

I booked an outside table as we have dogs via Facebook and was responded too immediately.
We arrived today and were instantly recognised and welcomed. The heater was turned on as it was cold and wet. They have a lovely wrap around deck with cafè blinds to keep out the elements. Food was great and service was faultless, we and the dogs were made to feel very welcome. We look forward to coming back in the warmer months.

Had a private lunch for about 50 today. Could not ask for any better. Drinks, entrees, meal, sweets, coffee, service, staff and ambience.

We held a large booking indoors in the bar and cafe last night. The Otway Estate team were nothing but pure professional with brilliant service. Nothing was too much hastle for them. Bar staff were so friendly and the woodfired pizza's tasted amazing. I would highly recommend them for any function. We really want to return for a low key coffee and cake also to see what its like to relax in the beautiful outdoor seating on a smaller scale. Well worth the drive through the Otways for this gem. We will return.

Originally chose this restaurant because it was in the right place and had Tesla destination charging on site. Having now experienced the charming estate with friendly staff and owner, along with their simple yet fresh and delicious menu, I would happily come back even without my EV!
This was our first trip out of Melbourne since the end of lockdown and I must say that the behaviour of the staff, along with their good hygiene and isolation practices made me feel very confident and secure.
Well worth a visit.

Great pizza and really good selection of local craft beers. With Dave on the pizza oven and Emma on front of house you will be in good hands. Well worth a visit.

We stopped in here for a meal on our way back to Colac after picking blueberries in Gellibrand. There's a great lawn area for the kids to run around on, plenty of toys for them too. Wood fired pizzas were spot on and generous portion sizes. We'll definitely be back.

Great beer and cider! Friendly staff and tasty pizza. Definitely not frozen, and seems that it’s all fresh and made from scratch. Worth the stop :)

My partner and I had a fantastic time here for a weekend in July 2017.
We were staying in one of the cabins with the spa sunken into the living room and it was awesome to be able to kick back and relax.
On an afternoon we wandered up to the Brewery and had an awesome time with Craig and Jude talking about beers and everything else.

We celebrated a birthday at the Otway Estate and had a lovely time. The weather was fine and we sat out on the balcony overlooking the water. The atmosphere was pleasant. There was another sizable group at the other end of the balcony, which was barely noticeable. In other venues, sharing the space with a large group can make for a noisy and unpleasant experience. This was not the case at the Otway Estate.
The food was lovely. A good range of fresh produce. Despite there being a varied menu, we all decided to get several sharing plates and cheese platters for the table. Between eleven people we had five sharing tapas plates, three cheese platters, three dips platters, and a couple of bowls of wedges. This was plenty of food and gave everyone a taste of everything. A great way to spread out a long lunch.
The in-house wines, beers and ciders were wonderful, and the beer tasting a great opportunity to try a variety of their 'wares'. The ciders are dry and crisp and particularly lovely.
We had brought a cake for the birthday boy, The Estate were happy to provide the equivelant of 'corkage' I guess you'd call it. For $4/head they cut, plated and presented the cake professionally with fresh cream and a toffee nest. A lovely touch.
The service was friendly and prompt. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and were never interfering or hovering.
I would recommend the Otway Estate to friends and family. It's a lovely drive from Melbourne and in a beautiful forested environment. The sofas and fire would make for a cosy spot in the winter.
The above food, including drinks and cake corkage, worked out to be about $45-$50/head. No one went hungry!

My family stayed here with our dogs 4 in all in Cottage 1 on 6th and 7th August. I celebrated my birthday here with my adult daughter, son, son in law and my wife. We had the most wonderful time enhanced by the friendliness of the Owners Jude and Craig. The accomodation was amazing definitely worth a 5 star rating. The craft beers wine and ciders were delivoous. The 5 of us all had our favourites on the menu. Think we had 5 different favourites. Jude brought out some donuts and mini muffins with a birthday candle. I couldn't recommend more highly this is the place to stay with or without pets.

What a great find! Enjoyed the pizzas, beer (Prickly Moses) and local wine. Lovely conversations with the owners and hearing their grand plans for the venue. We'll definitely be back when in the area to see the progression. You've got this... Good luck with the vineyard!
