If you want to party, this is the pub for you. (And the toasted sandwiches are very good). It has recently started to open during the day as a "regular" pub and Brunswick Street needs more of these.

I've only been twice but the place has a good atmosphere. Music was a mix of old and new tracks, really good choices and easy to dance to. Just careful because the dancefloor is always packed! There is generally a line to get into the venue, entry is free and drinks are pretty standard as far as pricing goes. Great place to go with the girls, there were signs in the bathroom saying they don't tolerate harassment/speak to the staff if you feel uncomfortable, which I think is A+ on their behalf. Awesome place, will come back!

Good place. Large smokers area, nice lighting, good DJ, toilets are quite small only 3 cubicles and this was making some girls upset.

This place is good for a dance with your close friends. Really good vibes and chilled atmosphere. They play 90s music that you can sing and dance along to. Would always consider this place. As always don't take my word for it. Go there and experience it yourself. While you there you can visit provincial too. (Google it)

Music is alright. Best part is it's open untill 3am. Although alcohol is a bit over priced. With respect to quantity. Has a nice dance floor with good lights for people into dancing. The crowd is reasonably good with more undergraduates and below. Overall worth a visit or two!

Definitely an older crowd (24 plus) and music is very old plus new. for a chill night out this is good, drinks arent super cheap (10 for basics) but its free entry so.... Outside area is very nice.

Went there on Saturday night. Had really resasonable priced drinks. Service was great, got served within seconds. Good sized courtyard. Dance area was average sized. Music was a hit and miss. Only minor negative were the glasses and bits of limes making it slippery on the floors.

Empty at first picked up during the night. Drinks are around 10ish. 12.50 for a jagerbomb I'd say definitely a great place after 11ish. Definitely picks up. Arrived there at 9:15 was pretty empty so you could chill out the back and wait till more people rolled up. Extremely loud on the dancefloor could hardly hear anybody but if thats what you want then its the place to go.

Very nice place, was empty when we got there and within the hour packed! Service was fast at the bar and got the line moving, dance floor was pretty crazy, there were too many people on there it was quiet a struggle but i'm not blaming staff for that. Outside area was lovely with lot's of activity and the inside couches and pool table were a nice touch. Definitely recommend Perseverance for a nice Friday and Saturday night out with a group of friends. A friendly atmosphere for younger people.

Organised an after party for a large group. Everything went smoothly with booking. The venue has plenty of experience with Uni student groups before so that helped. The night went well, without any problems and the staff were friendly from what I noticed 🙂 .

Great place to go on a Friday night especially, cheap drinks and it attracts a very friendly crowd I haven't had a bad interaction once there. Only issue is that the bouncers can be fairly unfriendly but for the most part they're good.

If you can persevere through the night, make sure you check out the one stop shop for classic hits and essential party tunes. Friendly bartender's, one of them had some pretty sick dance moves in between serving drinks. Persa FTW!

Great on a on every night of the week however must chiose the night you go with care because on friday and saturday nights there is more of a mini club night where many 18 year olds and creepy older guys attend. Cool vibe for the bar regardless
