Had a great feed here on our way to apollo bay. The view is great from the deck (pictured) and it really feels like a country pub. Had a classic chicken parmy (8/10) and a chicken schnitty (6/10), would definitely recommend getting the salad instead of veg with things as I've never had anything like it before (in a good way). Definitely would recommend. Cheers

Was at the nearby Camping Area and went for dinner at this place. Ordered Chicken Parma and it was really good with good serving size as well. My only gripe was the slow service though it might just be as it's 1st Jan(public holiday). If you are nearby do pay a visit.

:: Great Country Victoria Hospitality :: We rolled in with a bunch of mates and were treated like kings :: We had great chats - and occasional pearls of wisdom - from the locals. Plenty of good natured games of pool with the local silver fox ‘Murph’ (possibly Brendan ...) and pumped a bunch of coins in the well-stocked jukebox - I seem to recall Total Eclipse of the Heart and Sabotage - even the publican supplied along a few rollicking sea shanties :: There was dancing on tables - literally :: One of those rare nights out when you felt like a local and not a city interloper :: Genuine, unpretentious - slightly unhinged - good times :: Thanks fellas!

I'm all about customer service but didn't think it was that great on the day. Had a table booked but couldn't find our name on table or weren't shown where it was so just grabbed one ourselves. For a small country pub you look for that extra country hospitality but it wasn't there. Meals were enjoyed by all.

Nice warm tavern in the middle of the Forrest. Decently priced, friendly staff and amazing quality of food. Specially the lamb shank soup (speciality of the day) was superb. PS: they have a fire place 🔥 and a pool 🎱

The staff here really made the expereince. We were unsure of what to order for dinner so the cook whipped up a small taster for the fresh calimari which totally swung our vote. May have had something to do with all the beer we were buying.... The two serves of fresh calimari really stood out but the other food we ordered was nice too, massive serving sizes too!

It's a good pub, the prices are within the usual range (8 dollars for a pint), and a good local ale. The man at the counter is nice and friendly, and the pub is comfortable and clean.

Chicken Palma is a great meal and a good size, they even do half serves for kids. Remember this is a pub and they do great pub meals.
