Dined for a lighter lunch, we shared the create your own 3 course selections & ordered mac/cheese croquettes, Portuguese chicken skewers & sticky pork belly. All the 3 meals were delicious. I also had a southside cocktail which was tasty. Service friendly. Would like to return to try out the ribs, they looked good.

Cold bubbly Moet champagne and constant cold water served to table which is great in hot weather. Will definitely be back when we are in Melbourne

Food is excellent, I wish the quantity would be higher for $69 (5 Entrees). Cocktails were prepared with class, the Sangria was not the best one out there, but definitely worth the price during happy hour. Highly recommended the - Sticky Pork Belly and Calamari (melts in your mouth). Would come again, especially on a hot day!

Visited The Breslin Bar and Grill on Mother's day for dinner. The staff was sweet enough to give us a table at 7:30 pm even though our reservation was for 8 pm. We ordered mashed potatoes,full rack pork ribs which were served with barbecue sauce,chips and veggies For drinks we ordered a mocktail "Pink Sunset" and Brandy. Their Pork ribs are delicious and barbecue sauce makes them even more delectable. The ambience in the outside seating is relaxed enough for some pleasant dinner. Would go back again for Pork ribs!

Food was excellent. Wagyu beef burger was juicy with right seasoning and sauced. Cauliflower entree had great seasoning and tasted awesome. The old aged waiter was too friendly, stated his nationality more then five times. Water was served by waiters but not as frequent. Leaving a bottle on the table would have been a good solution.

First time to this place and what struck me the most was just the wonderful sounds of people eating talking and laughing since we came out of lock down. The staff here were sooo professional and friendly. As for the food...yummy! I couldn't even take photos of our shared food as people dove straight into it haha. I will say that I think their food is a little pricey, but when you match it with quality, it's worth. Will definitely go back, and if you get the opportunity to go, take it.

The walk from Spencer Street, along the promenade in front of the Crown Casino and heading towards Princes Bridge, you are faced with a glut of choices on where to eat. Italian, Japanese, fast food, fine dining and so much more. Today a dear friend from interstate and something of a ‘dining out virgin’ chose Breslin because it didn’t have live music (we needed to talk and catch up on 18 months of family life) plus the menu was simple to decipher. We propped ourselves at a table for two on the promenade side instead of heading indoors which was enormous with enough tables to easily seat 100 guests. The weather was mild for winter, the only upside of climate change (unfortunately) and so it was comfortable outdoor weather even when it started to rain later in the afternoon. The $25 lunch special had a number of main course choices which included a glass of house wine/beer/soft drink. I had the lamb shanks, Janet had the burger - oh la la what delicious food and the perfect portion size. The chips with the burger where delicately cooked and not over salted. The burger once cut in half, easy to eat one bite at a time. The shank meat fell off the bone and the sweet sauce was ‘finger licking good’. Next came a bottle of bubbles 🥂 to celebrate our reunion and the wine list was extensive. We chose a Seppelts The Drive non vintage Chardonnay. Just what the doctor ordered. But that’s not all. We were tempted with dessert so I ordered the lemongrass creme brûlée and Janet the chocolate mud cake. As the rain came down slightly dampening our table, we were joined by a friend and continued our reunion with a lot of laughter, great stories and all in a beautiful Yarra River view setting at Southbank. Staff were friendly and helpful. Notes: recommend you make a booking for those busy periods of Friday and Saturday night as it does get busy, suitable for vegetarians or those with dietaries, restaurant is wheelchair friendly, kid friendly, and the parking is reasonable if along St Kilda Road or at a number of the undercover parking services. Well worth a visit and I’m looking forward to working my way along the promenade and trying more of these interesting restaurants. 🥂 🥩 d e b i 🍾 🍨

This place has a great location infront of the Yarra River in Southbank and I have been here on several occasions. On this occasion my wife and I had dips and oysters with a shallot vinaigrette for entrees, the dips were average and lacked flavour but the bread served with it was fresh and delicious, the oysters were fresh and the vinaigrette gave them a nice flavour. For my main I had the Prawn & Clam Linguine and omg, it was flavour city the prawns, muscles and clams were fresh, onions were sauteed to perfect, lemon, pepper, capers flavours worked really well and that linguini, made me feel like there was a party in my mouth and I am still thinking about this dish, I don't think the picture will do it justice on how delicious it was. My wife enjoyed her burger was, she said the party was cooked well and the truffle mayo enhanced the flavour of the burger. For dessert we shared a sticky date pudding and it was presented beautifully and it tasted amazing, great way to end our dinner.

Very much a carnivores restaurant. Although the best dish was the prawn and clam pasta - very tasty (which I ordered as I had read about it in other reviews) the meat platter entree was a variety of grilled meat on a platter and was almost $150. The avid meat eaters of the group felt that it was over priced and by the time they got received main meal steaks they were just full of too much meat. Staff were friendly but scarce.

Good food great location. Share plates are certainly worth trying if you're going with a group. Can get got sitting in direct sunlight (if you've chosen to do so) although this just helps with your opportunity to try more drinks from a large selection. Just walked in to the Breslin and was able to get a table. Intention was to have end of week beer and chat with my son. Beer was good, staff were fantastic, there when you needed them but they didn't rush or annoy you. Ended up having some shared entree's and food was really tasty. Would happily go back

Not bad food if you're looking for a pub feed on Southbank, but certainly not worth a trip.

Really enjoyable time despite Rona restrictions. Ended up sitting jn the alfresco dining on the grass opposite. Both beef and pork ribs really well done. About $95 for 2 including drinks which I think is pretty standard for Southbank now days. The manager here handled issues with The Left Bank next door really well who thought it ok to have their music playing at 11 in their alfresco area despite having no customers and refusing to turn it down earlier in the night. All round great experience.

We opted for the salmon and it was honestly delicious, the salmon was really well done, the potatoes were amazing, all in all given the price I think this was really great quality and portion. The setting being on the river front was really nice given it was a sunny afternoon and the service we received was also great. Would recommend and will return.

Some of the greatest ribs you can get. This place is excellent for a quick sitdown meal. Whilst it's facilities for food open quite late, due to their incorporation of a smokers-only section, its a slight compromise for a great meal and great drinks. If your looking for a relatively cozy place and you're near the area, I'd certainly reccimend this place to you.

Situated by the water this bar and grill has quite a variety on the menu. We settled for the charcuterie board to share between 4 and a selection of 3. Slightly expensive/overpriced however food was delicious we particularly enjoyed the freshly baked bread and marinated chicken wings.

One night while hunting dinner, we walked into Breslin Bar & Grill, another foodie spot overlooking the Yarra with high expectations. Nice cosy place, with reasonably prized food. After a meandering stroll through the busy walkway by the river, towards the end's The Breslin for a chilled drink and scrumptious sharing platters overlooking the park and waters if you decide to dine under the retractable roof outside. The ribs were awesome however if you hungry go for the full rack. That is 55AUD. Otherwise you will leave hungry. The salmon in my salmon quinoa salad was overcooked and sparse. The quinoa was only a decoration. The dish looked massive but it was only salad leaves. For 32AUD not good enough. The waiter we had on the other hand French guy Felix was awesome. Joked all the time and was very efficient. Thank you.
