Went here for an early dinner. Placed order via the QR app as instructed. I ordered a steak and my partner ordered a burger. After waiting an hour we ask the wait staff four times how long I meal would be, to be told it was on its way. Our meal finally arrive almost 90 minutes later. The pub was quiet, with only a dozen or so patrons The staff were sitting around drinking cocktails with the people running the karaoke night. Great pub, but the customer service needs to improve.

Very happy with this place. It was the first pub I had been to since the easing of the restrictions. The lamb cutlets are pretty incredible and the signature pie is a must try. Friendly service and great range of tap beers. As for the price, some of the items are a little pricey for a pub feed but that shouldn't deter you from at least trying it out - they do have cheaper options on the menu also.

Port Melbourne has some great pubs. This one has some seating arrangements like swings and a boat to suit in. Drinks aren't expensive, all good value. Order from your table and you only need to leave your table for the loo. Talking of the toilet, clean and don't smell. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.

Cool little pub in Port Melbourne. The food is all tasty, with a menu that will cater to most people’s tastes and dietary require. The selection of wine is pretty good, the craft beer could be better, it would be nice to see some independent brewers on tap but what they’ve got it ok. Book the swings if you can! What a great novel way to enjoy the outdoor space. Bangers and mash for reference :)

Really nice pub. Good food. Have lots of interesting space, from booths and on the bar dining to swinging chairs outside. Well sized menu and good variety on tap. Nice staff and great when they have a musician on. Do recommend.

This is a great spot for a late week drink, meal, or afternoon sesh. The food is consistently tasty and the service is always friendly. We had the Parma and the burger, both which met expectations and were of good value. Would definitely recommend this for a couple’s night out, boys dinner, and even small group dinners. We finished off with the chocolate dessert, which wasn’t impressive, hence the star detractor.

First of all thank you to the staff! I hope the owner/manager is aware of the wonderful service you guys provide. Had a special occasion there and they accommodated brilliantly! Cocktails amazing and reasonably priced, and they just looked after us all night! And the cherry on top? They allowed us to connect our phones and dance to whatever playlist we wanted, thank you 😊

Just love the food, service and atmosphere at this funky inner city, neighbourhood venue. There's plenty of delicious pub grub, wines and beer options to delight your group. Just love the quaint option of booth seating too for a bit more cozy privacy - ideal for our girlie catch-ups!

We stopped over at the Cornerstone after dropping our dog at the groomers. They had just opened up for breakfast that weekend. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was great. After our meal we got asked at this was their first weekend was there any feedback which was a great touch and shows they want to keep this going. I will 100% be making my way back for a breakfast trip.

This pub is pretty good. There's some decent food options for different types of appetites, including options for gluten free and vegan. Not to mention your classic chicken parmigiana and steak options you'll find in a pub. The pub is spacious inside and has some seating out the front and more options on the side, which include some swing seats. Nice idea, but not practical enough as your arms hit the chains when you're trying to eat.

Cool little pub on the quiet end of Bay Street, just changed hands and the new interior is looking awesome. High, dark wood booths which easily seat 6, and the Guiness is pouring well. Looking forward to seeing what these guys do with local music as well. Had the Pulled Jackfruit Bao which was awesome as a mid afternoon snack. Great to see sustainable food done well, and different to typical pub fare. Would have loved for the craft taps to been kept on though, under previous 'The Hack' ownership the ever changing range of craft beers was a big draw.

I came here for a sibling's birthday. The place is great when less busy and the drinks are awesome. There isn't many food options but the food that they do serve is great quality. The price is not too overwhelming. Great games such as table tennis and pool are there. Staff are super friendly! Enjoyed it.

Exceptional place for meals and drink. The fire grilled prawns were extremely juicy and delicious. The Chicken Parma was extremely big and real Chicken breast and Juicy. Delighted to see the new business owners have restored this beautiful building back to a more traditional interior to suit the exterior. One suggestion for breakfast would be to introduce an Irish breakfast option, to set them aside from the competition nearby, Can't get one in Port Melb.

Love this pub - decent priced drinks and good grub for vegetarians. The pumpkin fritter burger was a great choice but battered pumpkin has now been replaced with a more typical veg patty. But we took a chance on Cornerstone for a workshop lunch and have to say it was amazing. Thanks to Adrian and the team for the amazing service and area. Just had lunch at this new venue. Bring out the man! Okay, the refined man. 400g of smoked, slow cooked short rib that I did not want to share... at all. One of their many craft beers : a great local twist on a Gallic red. How hard is that to find! And, yes, the girls at the table could indulge in some soft, floral ales. But the real surprise: I asked for a sparkling espresso. I got the expected vague look, but when asked to describe it I received "I can do that". 'Oh, sure', I thought. But he could, and so well. I am going to have to carve my initials at my table so it will be ready for me at my next visit.... real soon. Oh yeah, really well designed interior, too. But with food and beer that good, do I really care!

Such a great experience here! M and I went in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. First impressions: What a beautiful space! Funky art work that works wonders for the ambience and so much natural light flooding in. Upon entering we were greeted warmly. We took a seat on the stools near the window and had the menu explained to us. The service was genuine and attentive. I especially appreciated the beer recommendations. DRINKS!! The Hack has a tailored range of craft beers, focusing on local and independent brewers. We were able to taste test before placing an order. It was a tough choice, but the Green Beacon won me over. THE MENU! We were so spoilt for choice. Limp Brisket BBQ is currently running the kitchen and serves up some of THE best slow-cooked American BBQ in Melbourne! Poor M had to deal with my indecisiveness and patiently wait for me to choose what I wanted! We ordered the following: Mac & Cheese Croquettes w. Sriracha cream: As a lover of all things cheese, I may be a little biased, but these were incredible!! Crunchy on the outside and perfectly gooey on the inside. We almost ordered another plate but self-control took over, as mains were yet to come. Smoked Hot Wings w. Blue cheese sauce: They had me at blue cheese! This may be an acquired taste for some, but M and I scraped the plate. 12 hour Smoked Brisket: Local grass fed, free-range meat, wood smoked from the pit! Deliciously tender and bursting with flavour. Meat lovers, this one is for you. The Iron Jack: This is by far the most interesting vegan option I’ve seen on any menu. I’ve never tried it as a fruit let alone a savoury option. Truth be told, I couldn’t tell the difference between this and pulled pork! ! BEERMISU: Such a quirky take on tiramisu! This was the cherry on top. M and I shared because by this point we were full to the brim. If I had a second stomach, I would have ordered a burger as well, but this just provides a good excuse to come back again ;) Thank you The Hack & Limp Brisket for a killer feast!!
