The music sounds might be loud but It wasn’t problem. I love a jug of mojito and some cocktails here. Staffs are nice and kind.

W. N.Best experienced at lunch times before the after work crowd. Food and Gin have always been on point. Staff are always inviting during off peak periods. One of my favourite finds in the CBD.
B. “. C.Because of 50% of food bill so I have a chance to visit this place. Food was very average. Had pizza which was not very tasty, pork loin was super dry. It’s a place if you go with mates for sitting down and chatting. But if you are a food lover I might not suggest the place for dining.

D. R.I liked the white rabbit dark ale(a naming contradiction). I also had the cheeseburger and added the sweet potato chips as well. Very tasty. Atmosphere is good, free wifi is helpful.
S. V.Very crowded on Friday evening with no place to stand ! They have good happy hour beers! The deal meals in the bar menu are value for money. Could be little more organised if they have more people in the house. The music is a little loud too! But a great environment and brings in nice vibes.

Thought I'd try the beef brisket as dining with a discount but was very underwhelming. Small portion size and seemed excessively salted. Would be disappointed if not discounted. When I return will be sticking with their casual fair. Nice pizzas, burgers, chicken wings and sweet potato fries.

M. B.Been here a couple times now. Had the mushroom burger last time which was alright was not a huge fan. The salads however are pretty good but fairly limited in terms of options for vegetarians. Staff is great and the place has a nice ambiance.

A. N.Came here on a Saturday night before seeing a show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and enjoyed the space so much we came back again after the show. Central location, easily accessible from Flinders Street Station and Swanston Street tram corridor. Wait staff were very attentive and friendly. The music was a perfect backing track to the lively conversations around the space. A mix of seating at high tables, booths and regular tables and while it did get busier later in the night, we didn't struggle to get a seat. Entry is down a flight of stairs and I couldn't spy an accessible entrance, which is a shame.

E. D.After reading some reviews we wanted to pass onto the venue and staff that we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and loved our bottomless dinner.
Food was incredible, we ordered x2 pizzas, chicken wings, mac and cheese balls and sweet potato fries.
We chose to pay extra for the spirits, however didn't realise it was bare minimum spirit basics. In saying that, we still definitely made our money worth it.
Atmosphere was great, music was pumping, however definitely a great scene. Thanks to the staff too, they were fantastic.

I think it may be a good evening spot although i was there around 6.30pm. Overall a nice place to drop in.

On Monday at about 8pm we went by for a beer and even up the back in the seated area we couldn't have a conversation because of the dance-volume music (even before a dancefloor was being formed)
Would love to have this place as a regular spot to hang out, but not being able to have a decent conversation is a deal breaker!

They do a good variety of share plates that cater to the majority of dietary needs! The service is always really quick and consistent while the staff are super friendly and helpful! :D
Having visited The Mill House numerous times, the one thing that consistently bothers me about it is the noise. It is FAR too loud! The music is PUMPING constantly and it's very unpleasant if you're siting right near one of the blaring speakers.
It just makes no sense to me; the majority of patrons are there for casual post-work drinks & catch ups but it's so hard to have a conversation over the deafening sound. When I've gone up to the bar to get something, I can't even talk to the bar tender without having to yell and/or repeat myself.
However, it is a great venue and if they simply adjusted the volume, it'd be even better!
N. F.Good place for a date; dimly lit and there are tables you can sit on and have a quiet decent chat.
There is a live band on Wednesdays that take requests so that's also a good place for live music fans.
Downside is that there is no reception, since the place is basement level.

Dinner out with my sister. We ordered the Peruvian fried chicken & cheeseburger to share. The chicken was tasty but pretty much tasted like Buffalo chicken. The cheeseburger was amazing and completely recommend it. There was also live music and it really added to the whole ambience.

A.Really cool Venue. Beautiful inside and delicious food. Friendly stuff. Not too laud on regular night so you can talk. Very busy right after work so come earlier. You have to order at the bar so not that great if you want to catch up with someone you haven’t seen for a while. But it is a bar after all. Delicious beers.

F. C.One of the best places in Melbourne to drink and dance. Great music selection definitely party and dancing focused. Even with a full house there are Enough available seats so you don't have to be all night standing on your feet. Fish and chips are savoury and are enough for 1 person not to share. I will mostly come back here soon
E. M.Went to The Mill House for a Harry Potter trivia evening. The place itself is quite deceivingly large and long, but it doesn’t feel overwhelmingly large because of the layout of the building. It’s a really classy place (and even though it’s kind of underground, it’s not grungy or dirty) but has a genuinely nice atmosphere! Also the bar is well-kept and bartenders are friendly. Thank you for a good night!
P. S.Nice venue, but the music is too loud. Menu online is also not updated. Waitresses were a bit rude, kept coming to the table gesturing at our plates because they knew it was too loud to hear them talk. Good portion size for meals.

Manager/Owner was so understanding and rectified this immediately. But I wouldn't go back because of the service we received - ruined our night!

Crossley the bar manager is the best there is and along with his staff, gave myself and my friends amazing service and attention all night. I felt welcomed from the moment I entered the venue and the hospitality was at a 5 star level. Kirsten the event organizer was an absolute delight to work with and made organising my party super easy!
The cocktails and drinks are amazing, the ambience is classy and fun and such a wonderful environment to talk with friends, catch up or go to the dance floor and have a boogy.
