The service was great. It’s a very clean pub with friendly staff. The drinks are priced cheaper than most places on Chapel street. The patrons here were unpretentious and relaxed - such a welcome relief from most other places on Chapel street. The pub has both indoor and outdoor areas, and a smoking area too. My friends loved their food. I was happy with my drinks 😊. I was happy with the comfy vibe. I’ll definitely visit again! I think I now have a favourite pub in Windsor.

First star ⭐️ Goes to the Staff maybe because he was Canadian, but both the girl behind the bar and the Guy we’re friendly and pleasant to deal with. Second star ⭐️ Reasonably priced with a vibrant feel to the place from the 80s rock to today’s lounge music and up beats. Third star ⭐️ the food not your basic pub menu, food well presented food hade the duck 🦆 My friend the chicken 🐓 parmigiana cooked to perfection excellent presentation and bloody yummy Fourth star ⭐️ bathrooms were clean and had an outdoor area with a designated smoking area that didn’t effect the non smokers. Fifth Star ⭐️ for the the overall feel or the place, we were there on a a Saturday afternoon.

Private function room at the front is perfect for a party. We had a size of 45 people, you could fit more. We had flowing drinks and food. End of the night the bar staff looked after us playing music! Fun times dancing... Thank you!

Love the venue. Not so much the preference of smokers over diners from 4pm on a Sunday outside even though there is a dedicated smoking area. Would love a bite to eat but not heading inside for it. Yay for happy hour and great DJ tunes.

I only go for the gay happy hour on Sundays and I say it's fantastic. Great drinks specials, friendly staff and a good mix of indoor and outdoor areas. Good night all and all. Much more chill vibe then the Emmerson on the same night ;)

Fantastic place to go on a Sunday afternoon/evening. Great atmosphere, cheap drinks, good food. The rooftop is beautiful and 2/3 of the places is covered by outdoor heating during winter. There is usually a DJ but intermittently the music can be way too loud for comfort. Most of us are there for chats rather than dancing. Staff is friendly and service is good.

Great little venue with a little function room downstairs we used that still has a few nice beers on tap. I didn't have any food but others in my group thought I'd was good, standard pub fare but tasty. Would go again!

Thankyou so much for making our Christmas Day lunch so special. The food served was absolutely divine. Could not fault it. Amazing! Complements to the chef! A bit of constructive criticism if I could, only to assist in complementing the menu. Water bottles on tables if you feel understaffed. Having to keep hydrated on a 38deg day not ideal. Change or bin the floral decoration in the back dining room. I did hear Maria Carey's Xmas albums, at least six times. It felt understaffed but the staff were still very pleasant and helpful when available. Again, thanks for the wonderful lunch and we hope to dine again with you soon! Best

"dad, what do you want for lunch?" "Fish and chips." "The Railway Hotel - Windsor has a $15 Winter lunch special." We made our way up the stairs to the Top Deck. The barmaid was really nice and polite. Was happy for us to order a few minutes before 12. Later on she checked for me if the$100 bar tab competition prize included meals. The answer was Yes. It's for Facebook. Our meals arrived quickly. I enjoyed my Barramundi , Chips and Salad. I believe it was good value for $15. When we arrived it was very quiet . It was the start of the lunch hour. The dining area was very clean as was the male bathroom. The function room.was downstairs. I didn't notice a lift to upstairs for people using wheelchairs, mobility aids , prams or people needing assistance. I deducted a star for accessibility . If there is another way upstairs other than the stairs , happy to edit this. I am happy to go there again. Friendly service, enjoyed the meal . We were able to split the bill too. Bottle of water and glasses were brought to the table .too.

It's nothing like it was when I lived in the area, which I guess is a good thing, you won't get done over anymore. It's very fancy upstairs in the deck. Beer prices are ok. The staff are fairly friendly but what's with the no you can't have that glass with that beer, seriously what difference does it make. The chips were ok. Mates steak sanga was ok Edit 19/3 to respond to owner. We wanted three pints of three different beers, but pint was allowed on one but had to have schooner on the others. No explanation for why.

Highline at The Railway Hotel Windsor is the high end portion of the recently renovated Windsor insitution. Downstairs, the pub and 24 hour bottle shop remain however walk upstairs and a very different concept awaits. Head chef Simon Tarlington (formerly of Quay, Woods of Windsor and Maze) has been brought in to create a menu that showcases the fresh, seasonal produce that comes directly from owner Peter McCormack’s farm in the Strathbogie Ranges.
