Arrived at 12:10 for lunch, plenty car parking available, decided go with indoor seating immediately direct to table, We hadn't made a reservation, super friendly staff offered to switched on the near by TV for the kids to watch the Olympic Games. Food was sensational and good size, everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The decor is a stunning mix of vintage photos on the wall and old country pub feeling, the rest room is super clean. One small suggestion to the owner might think list some local beers on tap would wonderful, we had fantastic time here! Highly recommend from a Google Local Guide and pub food connoisseur!

Rustic relaxed old world place with an earthy, timber and nature immersed feeling to it. Great family restaurant, cafe pub or bar whatever your taste with loads of nostalgic memorabilia, best hearty meals and food, kids playground area and plenty of shade outside. Would be an excellent function or wedding venue, with accommodation nearby.

If only I had more time, The place was rustic, Peaceful, charming, could imagine sitting drinking at the bar with the fire roaring with people eating, laughing and playing pool. Absolutely loved it. The team were welcoming and lovely. Had so many historical pictures of yester years. Loved it.

Food was wonderful. The Parma was fantastic, but no one in our group was a fan of the chips. They were soft and unsalted. No flavour, especially compared to the rest of the meal. Salad could've used dressing. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Great service from everyone! Well done to the new management, overall Great experience.

Been a favourite haunt for many a year, but haven't been here since the mighty Covid took hold. Service today was shocking, it shouldn't take 50 minutes to receive a cold parma with cold chips. No salt on the chips, all salt shakers were empty. No I didn't complain as I was hungry and didn't want to wait another hour for a mediocre meal. Very disappointing. And from the talk on other tables, I was not alone....

They have great parma's at this place. The drinks are nice and cold too, regardless of whether they're from the fridge or on tap, and just the right amount of crushed ice in the jugs of soft drink too. We'll be back!!! 👍🏻

The pub is a ripper! Food is good but Needs some music though... We stayed in their cabins, they do the job however the price is steep for what u get, needs to be revised.

Such a great find. We were welcomed by friendly staff and an inviting outdoor seating area. We ordered a Mexican parmi which was quick to arrive and delicious. We later discovered that it had won several awards which was not surprising. I'd love to make the trip to Noojee again just to visit the Toolshed.

Plenty of level parking once up the steep driveway. Rustic shed restaurant with very good pub grub. Portions are generous. It has a small bar with all the usual choices. On a warm day the covered outside seating is great. On a cool day there''s a wonderful central open fire. That was a popular spot today, but we sat outside. The coffee was dispensed via a coin operated machine. I like this place and prefer it to the local pub.

Very friendly staff, was greeted with roses for all the Mum's on mother's Day. The toolshed is a very iconic almost heritage restaurant. Great food. Huge warm fireplace, and of course even a pool table and bar. If you can manage to make a booking before they're booked out then it's a great place to head to for lunch.

What a unique, warm, welcoming, friendly, quiet place to eat. My Parma lunch was delicious. The open fire was so cozy to sit near. Staff were lovely. Prices are good.

Hidden away from the township of Noojee is this gem of a bar and restaurant. Not much to look at from the outside, the interior contains a welcoming host manning the bar, a magnificent huge fireplace and a fascinating collection of memorabilia and ephemera related to the district's history. I've not eaten here, but the menu looks interesting and not too exorbitantly priced. The Outpost has 4 cabins close by for those wishing to stay.

Best pub food. have been a few times now and don’t mind making the trip out here because I know I’ll get great food. Staff are friendly and the place is set out really well, especially love the fireplace and it’s also nice to sit outside too

A beautiful old shed that's has heaps of old memorabilia tool's signs etc that has been transformed into a bar/bistro with 3 huge separate eating areas to choose from, it's a beautiful place to visit this side of Melbourne, roughly an hours drive from the city, situated on a hill with a beautiful setting & plenty of parking! A busy place especially on weekends & public holidays book in advance! 5 Stars!!!

The 2 guys behind the bar were great with the kids. The salt and pepper squid was amazing and so was my pie. There was a huge fire blazing which kept the place warm. The guys behind the bar gave my kids a pack that included a drawing book, crayons and stickers. We really ebenjoy the whole experience.

Waited over 1 1/2 hours for our food. Watched our other two friends and other patrons who ordered a LONG time after us eat and FINISH their meals while ours was still being "cooked". Blamed us for ordering a scotch fillet stake because they take a "long time." Nice place and nice atmosphere, but seems very understaffed. If you don't mind waiting a long, long time for your food, it's an okay place....

Great pub! Went for dinner and beers and had a table right by the fireplace. Prices are affordable, friendly service and the food serves are very generous. We had the Mexican parma and the tooly parma. Mexican one for the win, crumbed in corn chips! Was fantastic. Can't wait to visit again soon.

We had lunch at the Toolshed Bar and next day couldn’t find my wallet. Yes it had fallen out of my pocket in the car park. Thank you to those special people who handed it in to the bar where I retrieved it. Full marks for honesty. The thought of not having my credit cards, driver licence and having to replace them was very daunting and it was such a relief when Caroline and Neil confirmed they were holding it there for me. Thank you.

The meals took well over an hour to come out and they came out 5 minutes apart. The first 2 meals had perfectly cooked chips but next 2 were soggy and oily and inedible. It was as if they soaked the chips in oil and microwaved them. The main part of the meals were good, hamburger, salt and pepper squid and barramundi.

I went to noojee to visit my grandparent and we went to have a bite to eat. She took me to this place a the view of the place was awesome and that day several nice looking cars come along and made my day better. The food was amazing. The hawiain parmi was delicious and looked good. I left with a full stomach.

Top place to dine, more than worth the trip The history on the walls gives a great idea of what the area was like in years past, the atmosphere is fantastic Some comment about service being slow, cant understand the issue as the food is awesome and fresh, you cant get fresh food in an instant The staff give true country hospitality Only suggestion, dont eat outside as wasps are horrible, nothing owners can do about this but eating inside is more pleasant :)

Nov 2018 - An example of a great place to ride or drive to for a drink and feed at fairly reasonable prices. Lives up to its name of the 'Tool Shed Bar'. Well set up shed, outdoor seating and well kept grounds with a couple of playgrounds for the young folk. Not much bitumen carpark with the rest being gravel so it can be a bit tricky on a bike. The down side is that it's packed on weekends so expect a long wait for your food. During the week would be the time to visit.
