Love this place, my go to when I'm staying in the area. Been many times now and love the service and feel of the place. A good tip is book yourself in before turning up, they get busy especially at peak times. Do yourself a favour and pop in for a cold one or a feed 👍

Amazing old pub! In-between Welshpool and Yarram. We rode the dirtbikes from Alberton West state forest to the pub for a beer and lunch. Couldn't get any better

After a very solid days ride on the great gippsland rail trail, The Alberton was an outstanding feed and morale booster. This historic victorian era pub emerges from the flat green farmlands like a mirage but fear not this place is LEGIT. The seafood is absolutely excellent, the staff are lovely and you can feel the history within the walls. Don't miss the chance to eat at an icon of the south gippsland region.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal of Local Flake with Matt and Mick today. Beautifully cooked,presented and in generous proportions. Look for this Gem , when you are touring or fishing near this historic little Town . Highly recommended.. Particularly the Flake.

Had lunch here on a Sunday a few weeks back. We sat out in the outdoor area as we had our dogs with us. Food was great and prices were reasonable. Staff friendly and accommodating. The hotel's dog was also friendly. Would definitely eat here again.

The old place is a bit drafty but we always have a good night out here. The menu is extensive and prices are reasonable. Very authentic atmosphere here. Cosy little rooms to eat and drink in. Tuesday is Thai night - generous serves for $18.50. A nice Shiraz for $6.70

A country pub. Nice food. Book a table on weekends and be prepared to wait but take in the casual atmosphere while you wait. A courtesy bus too.

Kids (18 &17)and I had Parmas there last night (had actually gone there cause their Thai Chef is Awesome but she’s on Holidays 😩) and I kid u not it was the best Chicken Parma that any of us have had apart from the ones I make, and it was bloody massive!! Had to give my 19 yo son part cause there was no way I could of eaten it all!! And the Chips were also awesome!! Best Parma in Yarram and surrounding areas by far!! ( and my elder sons a Chef at a Hotel in town here ssshhhh😬😉)
