Really felt the town experience at this beautiful, cozy little pub. We were lucky to get a meal in when we got there in the evening before 6.30pm. Be sure to call in advance or stop by first as it is the only place for dinner in Walhalla town area. Next would be Erica or Rawson area. Awesome variety of Parma choices, we got the cheeseburger one and the farmers one I think it was called. SUPER delicious and great value. Great, warm staff as well :)

Only open for lunch and dinner, the prices are reasonable and food is tasty. It is one of the only places to eat in walhalla so it is pretty popular. There is a kookaburra that comes to get food from friendly tourist. Overall, a great experience.

What a little gem this place is! Walhalla is the prettiest little historical town and the pub certainly does it justice. It was super busy and quite a hot day but the service was nothing but fabulous. Meals were huge and came out very fresh and the beer was icy cold. Prices were great and I would definitely recommend this for a day visit

Enjoyed the simple pub meal, and the cider. Walhalla needs more visitors, as was very quiet that evening (the town is magical, and site of the pub is beautiful)! We weren't sure what would be open, luckily we were visiting Wed night (as the Wally was closed Mon Tue). My burger was assembled to order (no beef patties available, so subbed pork rissole with pineapple ring).

Parmas would be a whole lot better with normal sauce instead of the salsa they use. The pub itself is a little bit cramped but does have plenty of outdoor seating.

Stopped for lunch at the Wally Pub during a first time visit to the very beautiful town of Walhalla. Gorgeous old fashioned pub with lot’s of memorabilia to look at to while away the time. Took the lovely lass behind the bar’s advice and tried a local cider - Twisted Sister - which was excellent. The food was awesome too - home cooked, fresh and delicious. And enormous serves. Will definitely come back for another visit. Walhalla itself is totally worth the two hour drive from Melbourne especially in the Autumn... Highly recommended... 😋

Little expensive for what you get, but understandably for their rural location. Also being a captive tourist audience, and only 1 other place for a meal in town. Worth the stop.

Popped in for lunch, but missed the kitchen. Stayed for a couple of drinks and a chat with the "barman", son of the owner, who was helping his Mum out. Decided to book a table for dinner and so glad we did. Seafood basket's one of the best I've ever had. The grilled barramudi made it! Hubby thoroughly enjoyed the mixed grill, especially the pork sausage. Highly recommend this family run business.

Sadly not the experience I had hoped for. The service and the place itself was lovely but my food was a little sub-par. My partner's meal I have to say was good but my steak literally tasted like a different cut of meat ( also had that iron/blood taste of older meat) It's a shame as the place is lovely

The service was friendly and the fire was warm. Adherence to covid rules is appreciated. We had two mixed grills and a cobb loaf. For the most part the grill was good and certainly very generous in the portions. There was some inconsistency between the two grills with one having quite different tasting meat to the other. Sausage and bacon were consistent and excellent. My steak and lamb we're good, my partner's not so much. We'd still come here again. Great to have you open.

Very good accommodation central to all areas of Walhalla. Note it is not a working public hotel, rather a guest house. This is not any type of a problem, but does give a different interaction to the experience. I fully recommend this establishment.

The meals are the best pub grub in Australia. You will not find better.(I've been to most states in Australia so can proudly say this) the meals are huge and great prices. The staff are amazing and will go out of their way to make your time there a good one. Can't wait till this lockdown is over so we can book a weekend up here and visit our local watering hole again.

After quite a wait for our meals, we were pleased with the quality and quantity of the food. The wait staff appeared to struggle with the randomness of the table numbers. The outside seating area was lovely with shade provided. Inside was quite crowded. The price of the food was reasonable but drinks were expensive.

Beautiful bush surrounds with the river metres away make this pub very special. The pub itself small but cosy so best to reserve a table for your counter meals. There is outdoor seating and tables as well on the wrap around verandah and a grassy area. Good sized meals which are served very quickly and are delicious.

Generous and tasty meals and a staggering variety of 'chicken parmas' (think nacho xeese pama ... if yoi can't imagine it, you must go to experience it)'. The lamb shanks were melt in your mouth tender and the mash creamy and delicious. A very friendly place. The monthly raffle run by the locals to support restauration of the water wheel contributes to the fun and relaxed atmosphere.
