this is such an amazing place, i’m here with friend on Saturday night, not surprisingly, they are busy, everyone just out for drink and having a good night. it have my friend surprise me to order me cocktails, the result came out pretty good, it’s a pineapple sort of cocktail. and she have the salty type, which tasted pretty good, i have never try anything like that before. also, they have so many plants around, love that!!

Hidden at the end of a laneway, just off Little Bourke, you’ll find Whitehart Bar. The staff are friendly and the guy confirming check-in was very welcoming. Got a drink fairly quickly and the bartender was efficient in his craft. $15 for a pint is a tad expensive, and the taps are full of beers I’ve never heard of. Mixed crowd of patrons. Rooftop area has a lot of potential, but needs more comfy chairs and better layout. It’s a bit of mix and match between wooden boxes as chairs, seats with round tables, and high tables with stools. Loved all the greenery and plants.

As with a lot of good Melbourne bars, it's tucked privately away down a side street. It's a two-story bar with good cocktails and selection of beers. The place has a relaxed and trendy atmosphere; even on a Monday night this place attracted people in their 20s and 30s. It's a great date place or come on your own to enjoy the open air and ambience after work.

Drinks are a little expensive, but that's to be expected for a hip spot in the CBD. Really cool vibe and music. I love the juxtaposition of being surrounded by plants and industrial elements like shipping containers. The bartender that served me was really lovely

I personally have been here during the off season and have done work here. I cant recommend it enough. The owner is run by a family of lovely, kind and polite people. The drinks are all unique and special. The infrastructure is out of this world. After you pull you jaw off the floor, you will experience a very rare sight to see. MUST SEE TO BELIEVE! Cheers, CVal,

The place is Awesome, Jules in particular is amazing. His attitude is beyond anything I’ve seen in any other bar in Melbourne. From the entry you can see his amazing positive energy. I watched him work and he managed to always keep a cool head even when he was dealing with intoxicated people. Honestly I will always comeback here because I know I will be treated amazingly. Ambience: Very chill and hip. This container bar is a very unique (and photogenic) bar hidden in one of Melbourne laneways. Drinks and food: they serve very rare beer. Some are cheap some are expensive, but all have interesting tastes (a good thing). Also you can try the beer if you ask the bartender before purchasing. They also have espresso martini which is my personal favorite. For food you can order pizza which comes from another restaurant but they will deliver it right to your table. Price: the price is reasonable for the quality of drinks. You may want to prepare 20AUD to 55AUD, depending on how much you will eat and drink. Service: staff are friendly, fast, and helpful. I went two times in one week on my first visit to Melbourne. This bar is my absolute favorite.

Great design of the whole place and amazing vibe. Went there for a Highlife event with multicultural DJ’s playing the same night. The crowd was dancing full on and I think I speak from everyone saying we didn’t want it to end. Tasty beer and the environment is full of plants, with a good heating system. The venue was packed and the cleaning service was very prompt with the toilets, which I consider is an important way to keep everyone happy. Would definitely go back.

Neat little nook that ticks more than the laneway checkbox in the CBD. Be it outdoor seating on the ground floor or the enclosed space or the smoking zone upstairs the space is comfortable and the beverage selection wide. We spent a rapidly transitioning afternoon under an umbrellas shade from the sun and while it drizzled, sipping on a few. Very enjoyable.

I’m not typically one to leave a review but here we are. I’ve been here before and always enjoyed the atmosphere. However, today was the first time ordering an espresso martini, it comes from the tap, which I don’t typically have a problem with because it’ll be cheaper, but not here... For 2 x espresso martini’s from a tap it cost $40. I watched the bartender pour the two drinks for a whole 30 seconds. There is just no way these drinks should cost $20, let alone at 5:30pm on a Sunday... that being said they have a good selection of beers on tap, probably should have got one of those instead.

This place has a Good selection of beer. I would describe this place as cosy, but not overly crowded. The beer prices were fairly high for some of the boutique beers though. the options are varied, with options for vegans. They do accept credit cards including AMEX. and have quick and friendly service. The place is clean and lively. I would recommend the place.

I kinda liked this place, it was edgy and industrial with some great beers on tap but there were very few seating options. It feels like a huge space but there are only limited places to sit. Which is fine if there is music and you're dancing but less so on a Saturday afternoon when you just want to have a beer and a chat, and you're wearing high heels.......! Was a fun place though. If i can get a seat I'll stay for longer next time.

Big new outdoor warehouse-feel venue. Good for impressing friends with hidden new bars in Melbourne. Always have a different food van option for when you get hungry. However, the bar tends to be understaffed every time I’ve gone with long waits in line for drinks even if the venue isn’t completely full. Drinks are standard bar prices- a little on the expensive side, but it’s what you pay for the atmosphere. Good place as a starting venue for a pub crawl as it gets packed as the night gets on.

Love this little laneway bar, the rotating run of food trucks keeps the variety, and their ever changing tap beers back that up. I have found you need to get in early on a week day if you want a seat (both upstairs and downstairs) but it's a casual crowd so it never gets too full, nor the music to loud.

Came from Adelaide for a weekend in Melbourne and then half the tap list was Cooper's. Happy to see Cooper's on tap but also want to see them get around some Melbourne breweries. Had a fair few in cans at least. Main issue was just that this place is a bit pricy

Absolutely loved this place. It has lots of different areas to chill out in including smoking and not. Super friendly staff who are happy for a chat and drink recommendations. Clean, open and relaxed with a view of the sky right above. This is a great find we stumbled onto accidentally, wandering down Little Bourke Street. Music was good, but not too loud so we could talk just fine. Upstairs was a nice open smoking area where we could hang out ithout being crowded into a corner. Great alleyway bar that has done a lot more than just open its doors to establish a personality of it's own. I'll definitely being going back there.

An additional bar upstairs that was hosting a function, so that made downstairs really busy on my visit. Very cool little bar down an alley that I would've never thought to look down. Very Melbourne in that respect. Great vibe, very big space, with a spot for a food truck parked on the premises (personal favourite Sparrow's Philly Cheesesteaks was there when we went). Went on a weeknight for a few beers.
