Dropped in for a couple of drinks and a slice of pizza after a long hot day of walking around town. Very friendly bar tender, pizza chef sending out simple but tasty slices. Ambience is a little dark for an afternoon but as the evening goes on it becomes a bit more fitting. Interesting decor and a great range of drinks.

I have been coming here multiple times since it opened and I love the place. It has almost all you can ask for. Excellent pizzas 🍕, cosy atmosphere, good tunes, good drink menu, craft beers, and GREAT HOURS. Love that they're open late not like most Perth venues that close their kitchen at 8:30pm. Only small things that I would say are about the drinks : Even though there's a lot of choice for the beers, it's only cans, and they are very pricey. Also I think a bit more choice on the wine menu would be a real plus. Can't fault their spirits menu, it's massive, but only 5 choices of reds or whites is a bit limit for me. Other than that, the place is fire 🔥

Anyone can make a pizza, but not anyone can do it well! The pizzas we had were full of flavour and just the right amount. We were recommended Alfred's by a local and they were bang on the money. Best pizza this side of the country. #cookingwithrichie approves and recommends! The price was right, The beer was cold and decor unique. Well worth a visit!

A noisey cosy basement bar in Barrack St opposite the treasury building. They have a very extensive range of beer and cider served with pizzas made on site either by the slice or as a whole. The entrance is not well sign posted and easily missed.

At first I didn't really know what to think. The entrance was cramped and had the vibe of a battle of the bands type of feel with the posters all over the walls but then I got underground and the place had a unique retro yet rustic vibe. With decor of memorabilia on the shelves and embedded on the floor including a photo of Bill Murray from his role in "lost in translation" (which was my partner's favourite) it has a charm unique to its own without having that try hard feel. The cocktail list while small, the bartender is happy to accommodate with whatever drink you desire! The whiskey list extensive so whiskey fans will not be disappointed. The pizzas are also amazing and for vegans out there they do a vegan pizza as well! A well rounded place for all kinds of people young and old.

This bar is a great hidden gem within the city; it is pretty laid-back and all, with the rock-and-roll music filling the environment like a match made in heaven. The decor is real nice, with its walls covered with news excerpts and filled with a few antiques, liquor bottles and other artifacts. The pizza is delicious, though a wee bit on the greasy side. Other than that, there is an extensive range of liqueur that would definitely accommodate all types of preferences. Overall, it is a nice place; would visit again.

The Pizza is fantastic with some good choices available. Dine in or take away options. The staff always greet you when entering and acknowledge you when you leave making it feel more homely.

A hidden gem in the Perth CBD area, this place sells American styled pizza by the slice and have a terrific line of mixologists and bar tenders who will quench whatever thirst you have. Such a trendy place that makes you feel like you are travelling overseas ... The only reminder is when you have to take out your wallet and pay in AUD, which stings with these prices.

Despite a nearly hidden entrance on Barrack St, this place is definitely a must-visit. The decor and atmosphere is amazing as soon as you start wandering down the stairs (no disabled access sorry!) and only gets more cosy and inviting the further in you go. A well-stocked small bar and friendly staff matched with a simple menu of pizzas that are delectable and filling. This place definitely fits the definition of a "small bar/restaurant" and is better for ti, it's quiet and inviting and somewhere you'll want to share a nice meal with a few close friends.

This looks like a biker bar but the staff are really friendly, the music is cool, and the pizzas are incredible. I was advised not to bring kids on Friday or Saturday night but Sunday night we were there was great. The whole family wanted to go back and we hadn't even finished eating. Edit: a month later on Tuesday night we went back and were refused entry. Kids are not allowed Mon - Fri and also Sat (and probably Sun). Families are not welcome. Considering we drove out there it was a big waste of time. Reducing my rating from 5 to 4.

Absolutely love this place. I meet here every third monday with my mates as i pass through Perth on work stop overs. The pizza is rather good and the atmosphere is fun. Perth's very own American speakeasy. Through the telephone box and down the stairs you find yourself in a dimly lit pizzeria and bar. The bar is stacked to the roof and the joint can hold a maximum of 50 people I would guess. An awesome beer selection and mind blowing pizzas this place flies well under the radar. The beauty of the place is in the decor, and it can take some spotting. Old photos, hidden guns and bottles tucked away in every hole there's a gem to be found wherever you look! Well worth visiting whether you are hungry or straight up thirsty!

The small basement venue space feels like a speakeasy. The walls are covered with black and white photos of gangsters (and Mafia films) while the back wall is adorned with Axl Rose Jesus mural. Table space is at a premium so get there early, otherwise it's bench space and stools. The pizza menu has a good range of options that include gluten free. While the standard option was amazing (crispy base, just enough toppings) the GF base came out soggy. Apparently it happens so we were offered a partial refund. Based on how good the normal pizza was, a second try of the GF is warranted.

The first thing you notice is that the whole place reeks of parmesan cheese- it's below street level so there's not much ventilation going on. A bit pricey but service was fast and friendly. It's dimly lit inside, overcrowded and noisy- you can't make conversation without yelling.
