J. G.I came here to watch End of Fashion with my partner, family, and friends. The venue has a great cavern-like aesthetic, and plenty of drinks on tap. The staff are very friendly and approachable, while the security stays on top of rowdy or inebriated patrons. I'd never been to Badlands before, but will definitely be coming back!

Sunday sessions closed at 8.00 p.m but other nights open way after most City Watering holes are closed.
Friendly and efficient staff who go out of there way to answer questions, if they cant, they get a shift manager to do so.
One of the rare places in Perth for bands to avail themselves of live Gig performance experience.
Good atmosphere, well run, with more than adequate Security, when required. 8/10
R. H.Great vibe here. Lots of good live bands and shows on at this bar that make it awesome. They usually have a nice cocktail essentially on tap for $10 which is almost always a winner. Can get very busy and crowded but still an amazing time. Especially love the Brazilian gigs they occasionally host, crazy cool atmosphere.
H. W.Clean place, nice burgers from the Yard, I wish I had a glass for my beer and not plastic cup tho. Otherwise simple and friendly atmosphere, good for the weekend out.

S. D.On Friday night I held my own festival for my birthday at Badlands, which had been postponed since April lockdown. My only concern with the delay was going to be the weather. Well, I can confirm that the staff had delivered in making sure the marque was up with lights and heaters and our own smoking section!
The bar staff. Brendan, Jordan and the other cool young guy, I’m so sorry I forgot your name. made the night so effortless. I cannot recommend Badlands enough. Ashleigh was very helpful in the leading up to the night.
Whilst I can’t say enough about the venue and staff, my DJ and my people, made my special night epic!!

G.Myself and my girlfriend had our joint 21st birthday party here recently. We had an amazing experience - the weather was a bit cold and rainy on the night and the staff set up extra marquees and heaters for us which was appreciated. The whole process of planning the event was made much smoother by the lovely staff member who we corresponded with (Ashley I believe their name was!), the bar staff were amazing and friendly on the night, catering was great (and flexible for people with dietary needs/allergies) and the overall cost of venue hire + catering was reasonable and didn't blow the budget. Thank you to the team at Badlands! We highly recommend here for anyone looking to host a party or function :)

L. S.Awesome venue, saw a great band live but wow the music was just over the top loud. Laying in bed the next morning and I still can't hear properly and my ears are ringing like crazy. They sell $1 ear plugs at the bar and I strongly recommend you grab them or bring your own.

Good drinks and the pricing is very reasonable. The decor of the bar is awesome and well suited to the location. We will definitely be seeing more shows here!

We had our own outdoor bar area, were able to have our own DJ & bar to purchase drinks from.
We could bring our own decorations & cup cakes without extra charges applied.
The food we ordered from Eat Yard was delicious, fresh & great portion sizes.
All the staff on the night were sensational, very attentive, organised, friendly, accommodating, literally just awesome.

In my experience very accepting of non-canine and Canine, Bio-monitor Service Animals including seizure alert parrots, guide dogs, blood disorder and epileptic patients warning and alert rabbits and reptiles working as Service Animals. Truly Excellent Venue- feels very safe for the very disabled.

T. P.What can I say, it's a bar/club and they serve alcohol which in turn leads to what could be a good night.
The events that are now taking place are going to be drawing a crowd that is quite niche to a target audience but we're not complaining.
The outdoor area is large enough, and staff seem friendly and don't mind having a bit of banter!

However, the event was amazing, the staff however under the pump they were, were nice and helpful.
I don't know what it's like on a normal day, but recommend going if there's an event on!

C. T.We went for a Work Christmas party and was different. We were position outside in a small coutyard with our own bar. The food, cocktail style, was okay but we didn't get half of what was on the menu - the waiters either went to another group or it was taken before coming to us in the coutyard. The toilets for this venue are too small - 3 cubicles which the line was out the door all night. There was no ventilation in the room either + a hot day/evening made it difficult to get dressed in there. All in all the venue was good and the service was good. Would happily return here for a function.

l.Very nice out door area, the inside is still devilles pad to be honest. They changed the seating and tables but it still feels like the old bar it used to be previously, staff are very nice and had a good chat when the bar was quite, very reasonable priced drinks in my opinion, will happily be a return customer.

Evolved from a grotty place to a vibrant inner city venue and a regular meeting place enjoyed by the Perth Glory crowd for pre-game drinks, Badlands also hosts intimate wedding receptions and birthday parties. The acoustics inside Badlands makes for fantastic music events frequented by Ska and British music lovers. Close to McIver train station and easy for taxis to get to when you are ready to head home, I highly recommend this hip and happening bar.
