Has become more go to spot for after work drinks. Extensive menu for spirits and class bartenders! Was also here for a Christmas function, the young asian girl (sorry I forgot her name) was looking after us and was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and we all had a great time. Please pass our compliments to her for her great service. I’ll be back at the bar soon!

It's a great venue for a couple of drinks and the staff are very good. Bar tenders have good knowledge of Scotch and other spirits. It's on the pricey side and the beers are very average for my taste, although I'm not keen on the new craft beers. The place also needs some heating in winter as it was pretty cold to sit in.

One of the best hidden bar in Perth. They have live music too. The interior design was amazing. Absolutely will come back for drink. Ordered Chicken Karage for munching, waited for more than an hour, then asked the waitress then she forgot to ordered to kitchen. So have to waited another 30 mins. She said sorry but still charge me after waiting for 2 hours for Karage is a bit meh. Cause is not our fault to be honest. Hm other than that, everything was ok. And definitely will come back for drink on weekend. Love it.

Such an awesome venue to host an event! We booked the sunken lounge for my partners birthday and everything was amazing! The vibe was great and the staff were very friendly. The floor manager Nisha was so lovely and professional. She took very good care of us + + I was emailing the event coordinator Georgina for weeks trying to organise everything and she was so helpful + +, gave great recommendations and was incredibly nice to deal with. We Booked Bar Lafayette as a venue for the dinner interval for Cloudstreet playing at His Majesties Theatre. Amazingly efficient and on point staff front of house staff. We were seated and had drinks and food order attended to very quickly. We chose several dishes to share and they arrived in a very timely manner. The food was tasty and not overdone. Perfect for a light supper. The waitstaff were very friendly and professional. Couldn’t fault anything.

Went here with a few friends to 'test' it out as we heard it was pretty good. I must admit it was bloody cool, the venue reminds me of like a cool 1920's theme, as well as the staircase for some reason reminds me of titanic. I was fortunate to host my husbands surprise 30th birthday at Bar Lafayette last week. Myself and all the guests where so impressed with the venue and professionalism of the staff. Each staff member was so lovely and accommodating. The venue it’s self is perfect for special occasions. Also, food and drink (especially the cocktails) where just amazing! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to book a function or just visit for a couple of relaxed drinks! Again, big thanks to Brendon and all the staff. We will be back!!!

The place is stunning too, such a lovely setting for a drink or romantic date. The place is quite dark though not that this is a problem for me but some people it might be. Makes it super cosy.

The cocktails here are, in my opinion, the best in Perth. They're original, with quality ingredients and presented beautifully. To top it off the setting is lovely whether you're after formal drinks or somewhere you can have a couple and actually hear yourselves talking... and the staff are fantastic! Always my favourite!

Perfect upscale place for drinks with a small group of friends. Venue is styled with mismatching vintage armchairs, lounges and tables, great atmosphere. The only reason you need to come here: the cocktails. They are amazing, and there is an extensive selection covering classics to brand new inventions. Had the cheese board and a shared dish, both were lovely accompaniments for our cocktails.

I love the chilled vibe if this place, and the amazing setting, especially the big high back leather chairs out back. Perfect place for a group outing if you snag one of the group tables. Live music Thursday afternoons with a cocktail makes for a perfect almost Friday hangout :)

Two years that I regularly go to La Fayette when stopping over in Perth. The place is really cozy, I like the atmosphere, food and cocktails are delicious, most staff considerate and attentive to details. A bit pricey though. Would definitely recommend this place for a date, professional meeting or just sipping good cocktails with your friends.

The most incredible and adventurous cocktail menu I have ever come across, and while the prices are a little on the high side ($20-$80), I could not recommend it more. Their appreciation for blended scotch concoctions is a live a particularly share, but the rest of their menu will cater to even the fussiest of palettes.

I've had the good fortune of performing several times now in Bar Lafayette, and I'm always very impressed by the charm of the venue, and the good nature of the lovely staff, led by the delightfully dapper Brendon. Quite an extensive list of nifty cocktails and small tapa style foods. The inside is small and cozy with distressed ladened brick ascent walls. Service was above average based on Aussie standards. The waiter and waitresses were quite attentive. The mango topped soft shell tacos had a nice flavor to them. We also had the duck bao which was great. Although the trio of dips was excellent we made the mistake of also ordering bruschetta as well which turned into a bread overload!
