P. D.It's a quiet little pub with live music and a pleasant atmosphere. There's 2 beer gardens and a games room. It's not really my thing but if you're into pub culture it's definitely worth checking out.
C. J.I'm biased because I grew up in this neighbourhood, so it brings back great memories. That said, I'd like to see the iconic building get a fresh coat of paint. Maybe Covid put a stop to this.??? Regardless, still that 'Local Pub Feel'

A. A.Just spent a GREAT NIGHT @ Civic Hotel for the Reggae event at adjoining MILK BAR, what a truly SUPER NIGHT! Room was quaint, cosy, clean..A/C, T.V, Coffee for the morning and a balcony taboot!
DJ General Justice didn't disappoint once again with local reggae bands and artists, phenomenal music! I recommend this hotel to anyone that wants character in a hotel room, close proximity to the city and a big Thanks to the MANAGER HANNAH of Civic Hotel, keep up the good work!

O. W.Very clean rooms, comfortable bed and very generous for the price. The pub is great value too. The staff and manager are very attentive and friendly. They really want to make sure you are comfortable and will go out of their way to make your time an enjoyable one. Will definitely stay again without hesitation.

H. W.I went for a music concert and it was a good time out. The room is cozy. It would have been nice to have some seating but overall a great show. The artist I saw was Claudia Tripp, you should also check her out she's amazing. Being right next to chicken treat is a great win too. The bar looks pretty old school too, there's the footy on big old TVs and pokies and the carpet smells like it's full of beer and regret. Great fun!
G. T. M.Very big room and space! They have all the kitchen wear 🍳🍽🥣 The staff are extremely nice! I did my booking last minute and also check in before stuff hours, but they allow me to stay anyways. Also Very quiet and peaceful at night! I’d definitely come back again.

A. T.We had a function at the Civic last Saturday. The service Peter gave was amazing!!! Very professional, efficient and absolutely no ask was a bother. The bar service we received from Amberley was also incredible, she was so helpful and we felt like she was part of the party! Thank you so much for a memorable birthday celebration, the Civic, staff and the atmosphere was one of the easiest and best experience we have had. We will be back!!!

S. J. H.Checking out the Band Room is good fun and great way to find new original local music. Sometimes $10 entry but the band gets the door takings so support local music yey! Good selection of beers from main bar (Hop Hog on tap-yes!) and food is decent and of huge servings (might want to split a main). Always heaps of parking. A little dated but a pretty classic pub.

M. R.We had a large group on a Sunday and the staff were extremely accommodating. The pizzas are excellent value, sport on tv, live bands and good selection of drinks.

C. C.Fair priced alcohol, decent drink specials, great happy hour prices, AFL games and the junk that's called food these days is OK . Better than one or two along the same road anyway which charge 20% or more and serve the same slop.
D.A good selection of drinks and food. We opted for the budget route of the $6 pizzas which were great, especially for the price.
There is margherita, pepperoni or hawaiian on the $6 deal, or various other topping options for $10.
There's an outside seating area too and an open undercover area outside with a couple of pool tables.
M. C.5 stars for value (by Perth standards). 5 stars for quality food at that price. 5 stars for friendly bar staff. 5 stars for having the right vibe - not too heavy on security but they are there in the background.
I've got to say, this pub is a pleasant surprise. You wouldn't expect it to be as good as this given the location on a main road next to a supermarket.
J. B.A decent local bar with good pub food. Speciality bands are kept in designated rooms, as they may not be to everyones liking. It's definitely not a family friendly venue. But perfect at what it's trying to be. An old school place to have a good meal and a few drinks.

H. L. F.I got there and had lost my credit card while being on a surf trip in indo. I was low on cash before I had time to get sort out. And Peter and Sam has been absolute legends offering me to take me to the airport for free. So grateful for that help. Also the pub decoration is so sick rock bands posters! Room are tidy and comfy close to the airport. Definitely recommend. Hugo
l. s.Easily the best old style pub and accommodation in Perth. Great if you like a lot of atmosphere and pub noise. Very good food! Very comfortable beds!

B. 2.Great bar. Spacious beer garden with smoking and no smoking. Quite reasonable prices. Awesome Bands play live Friday nights in the Den. I would highly recommend civic hotel and the den, Especially when bands are playing. 🤘😎👍🍻🍝🎸🎹🔊🎶🎻🥁
D. G.Not the fanciest pub in Perth but definitely one to check out for a casual drink. Reasonably priced drinks and cheap food. Inviting enough for a family during the day but still able to let its hair down and party at night, its down to earth and fun. This venue is versitile enough too host a sports party, a live music gig and a private function... all at the same time! Keep an eye on the events page because there is always something happening.
K. C.We always stop in for lunch and a pint after a grocery shop. Always great affordable food (especially the $12 steak sambo) and inside has board games and books to use while having a beer. It's great.
r. a.Really nice pub. They have $6 pizzas that are actually really nice but just in margarita, pepperoni and hawaiian. All other pizzas are $10 so still good price. It is not the best places for pizzas in Perth but they are quite decent. The place is nice too, clean and with big screens to watch sports. The bar is full with beers on tap and a great variety of spirits. The staff is friendly and the environment is nice too. Because it is a pub I won't recommend it for families however there is the outsite area too. I spend quite a good time hanging up with friends and having some pizzas.

K. M.I just had my 30th party at the function room here and am stoked with the beautiful venue and the great service. The staff made the event very easy to organise and our bartender Matt was exceptional. Would definitely recommend.
A. C.I went to the Civic tonight to have a meal and listen to Betty's Blues. There was a big crowd to listen to a wonderful band but the food and bar staff failed miserably! I waited for an hour for 2 pizzas but got a refund when I was told they would be another twenty minutes! We went in to see the band but when I went to the bar to get a drink there was only one person serving and he left to get something from the main bar! It was an absolute joke!
K. B.Went there for an 80s concert on a Saturday night and found the access points to the main stage was very limited in space. We were waiting in line for an hour and the queue didn't move during that time. There were over 200 people waiting in the room that was built to fit 50 comfortably. There were also not enough staff at the bars or checking tickets. The show was great but the waiting was quite frustrating. The Civic was not a big enough venue for that volume of customers.
