Amazing venue and staff. Was so easy to organise a function with around 70 people. The food was great and substantial. The barmaid in our own bar took care of everything. Everyone had a great time. The bar tab lasted way longer than expected and there were no issues with what drinks were covered. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a venue for a function or just a casual drink.

We followed the higher ratings off google to dine here, and was only well... just a meal... The chicken was very nice, nice coating, tender... but the chips tasted like the oil was old and burnt, and weren’t served hot... maybe just warm at best... veggies were the same, cooked well like we like them but lacked in warmth.. 2 star feed, but service was good so I’ll give them one for that! May consider going back there if I was in area, but wouldn’t travel far for it

Its a good bar , the sort of place you take the lads for that overdue catchup and wear out the guiness taps, or treat your dad to a ( good) steak n chips with a pint by the real fireplace they have going in winter. Good craic, but no crackheads. Two thumbs up .

Character filled Irish Pub that just has a great look to it, hidden away down a little lane way. Friendly helpful staff that even had Irish accents. The menu had a good variety of food choices and the pie I had was one of the best meals I had in my short stay in Perth. The beer was also appreciated after walking up Jacob's ladder and visiting kings park. Will definitely go there again

I’ve visited Perth a few times for work lately. First time I had the Chicken Parma, and whilst it was okay, I was disappointed, perhaps I had too high a standards, no ham and it was a bit dry and tough. However, on my last trip the guys I was with went here three night in a row, which was fine with me as I love Kilkenny. This time I steered clear of Parma, had the Beef & Guinness Pie, excellent. Then Pork Belly, sides were nice but Pork was over cooked, tough and the crackling was rock hard I couldn’t cut through it, so average. Then I had the blackened chicken salad, which is not something I generally order but it was lovely. So, I would go here again, I enjoy the Beer, the food is generally very good for pub fare, staff are usually friendly and the atmosphere usually pleasant.

Food was really good. The portion size was a little small for meals you get at a pub. They didn't have BBQ sauce. Don't know if thats a Perth thing as 50% of the places I've gone to don't have BBQ sauce the first time. Beer was a good price and liked there local beers.

The salt and pepper calamari was tough, chewy, oily and didn't seem to have any salt and pepper on it at all. A real disappointment. The Parmi was a nice big serve although the chips seemed to be heavily made up of tiny little short end scraps. The Aussie Parmi was a bit different; had to try it but ultimately a little sweet for my Parmi taste buds due to the BBQ sauce I guess.

This is a true Irish pub like in the old country and the food is surprisingly cheap, plentiful and good. Drinks are Perth prices so not cheap but a wide range inc Guiness etc on tap.

Mamma loves a good Parma so it was a no brainer for us three to pop into Durty Nelly's for the Thursday special at $16. 2 Italian versions for them and a regular for me and a side of the mash to die for. Service exemplary, value excellent and ambience in the dining room relaxing. It was an early dinner so cannot comment on busy times. The plates are large so be prepared. Washed down with a Guinness, yum.

Had a lovely dinner there last night. My friend and I ordered: Starter - Onion rings and Chicken wings Mains - 2x Medium rare T-Bone steaks 1 w/ Mushroom Sauce and the other with Garlic prawns and pepper sauce on the side.. the steak was cooked perfectly!! It was all delicious! The drinks I found were a little over priced.. $30 for a 'Tall' sized rum and a Pint sized rum. I did use the restrooms, the toilets seemed to be very low.. and needed a little cleaning done..

Really great drinking pub; great Irish beer specials for a reasonable price. Had a feed on a Wednesday for their T-bone special and the steak meat was brutal; super chewy and over cooked. Would most certainly recommend pub for some drinks, but I’d stay away from the food.

Would have to be my favourite Irish pub no scratch that my favourite pub in the city. The atmosphere is always good, the drinks are responsible priced, the food is always good and the bar staff are always welcoming. Have to stop for a drink everytime I visit the city. Bonus is they have probably the best Guinness on tap in Perth. Do yourself a favour and check out this beautiful, quaint pub it's charm will have you returning everytime you visit the city.

My family visited today to celebrate my sons birthday. My daughter is 30 weeks pregnant and started feeling unwell. The staff were amazing and helped out as much they could. They provided a fan, ice, cold water, packaged up the meals we were unable to eat but most of all showed kindness and care. Thank you again to the girls. Good pub with great food and staff, place was VERY crowded when we went but always figured it would be. The only real complaint was that temple control wasn't great in the enclosed spaces, got really hot unless you were directly under or near an AC unit. Still enjoyed the food and drinks and even pricing was very good for the area.

Its a traditional old pub and part if Perth furniture.Haven't really been let down by their food , sometimes pricey but Its pubby as it gets and they serve decent size portions and most times exceed my expectations. The specials are great, Pizza night is worth it. 1/2 price ($11) and was just solid. Something I'll probably would consider it again.

Found Durty Nelly's by a fortunate accident. Had a late lunch there! Fantastic value as the daily special was 300g T-Bone for AUD18. The Guinness was only AUD8.5 as it was the beer of the month. Went back the next day for another lunch. Different daily special but great taste. Would also recommend the pork chop. Big and tasty with great mash. Great friendly staff and very accommodating as I wanted to change an item with my meal. No problem. The surroundings are a little dark with wood finish everywhere but is a good Irish Bar. Would recommend to all.

With the atmosphere of a true Irish pub, and situated in a cute little pedestrian street in Perth CBD, that pub is truly a great place to stop. Nice whiskys, nice beers, good live music concerts, and warm ambiance. On top of this, they have a beer of the month for only $8.50 a pint, so jump on it!

After reading the reviews, I was keen to go to Durty Nelly's for a nice dinner. The interior is very traditional and cozy, the staff are friendly and the entertainment and buzz inside is lovely, and they had an extensive menu with items that you normally wouldnt find in other pubs which was quite nice. But the alcohol is overpriced, the food wouldnt be something Id come back for, and there were cockroaches crawling around on the floor near our table. I wouldnt recommend this pub unless you like paying more for less, and you like average food. A bit disappointing, given everyone elses reviews.

Decent inner city pub, it has live music on regularly which play traditional Irish music, serves a decent Guinness at a price which doesn't take your kidneys as part exchange and serves food too. Bar staff are OK and the finishing is pretty spot information what they are trying to do. Tucked just off the main road behind the Generous Squire, it's well worth stopping in for.
