The new embargo location is good who doesn’t love river views with beers and a good feed. The place was pumping with people and sunshine. We ordered food which was good and tasty just maybe a little more buffalo sauce for the wings and they’ll be a hit. Highly recommend for a Saturday with the boys

Nestled on Point Fraser, which is on the south east side of the city this is a chic bar and restaurant. It is very well decked out with a nautical theme, giving it a great ambiance. With 2 large bars, and 1 cocktail bar getting a drink even on a busy day is never a problem. They have a delicious menu with plenty of bar snack foods, all the way up to substantial main courses. All in all a great spot to stop and enjoy the views of the river, or catch up with a group of friends

Great place for lunch with views across the water to Perth and South Perth. The food is very well priced, fresh and great quality. $20 for huge beef nachos, $15 salad and kids meals are only $8. The beer was a bit pricey at $9 a schooner of Swan draught but you do have to pay for that view. Also lots of other food choices next door with Varsity Burgers and the Point Bar & Grill so something for everyone with a kids area, ping pong tables and lots of seating. Go check it out as this place needs to work this time as they’ve put a lot of thought into it including the affordability for the average Joe.

The Embargo has prime position on the Point at Point Fraser with beautiful panoramic views of the Swan River. With plenty of seating, both inside and out why not make use of their lunchtime happy hour specials every day and live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. The Point Bar and Grill offers great food, incredible views and top service. A great night out or afternoon of relaxation with friends!

Thoroughly enjoyed our pre-game event for the Bledisloe Cup game on Saturday. Too bad about the game result, but the drinks and food selection for the event were pretty good. I loved my lamb burger and wife enjoyed her fush & chups. The fries were ok, and I’ve certainly tasted crispier. I think the standard potato chip should be dispensed with and replaced with crispy coated fries, as they have raised the bar for the humble fried potato chip, and anything else tends to disappoint in comparison. Mini rant over. The service staff were very accommodating and friendly (changing my fries for kumara chips), and drinks and food were about standard for Perth prices.

What an amazing place for a relaxing drink and to catch up with friends. Wonderful sunsets. Different food options and a huge variety of drinks. Kids and dogs welcome. Wheelchair accessible

Fun outdoor venue for the younger crowd, lots of drink options, live stage, etc. not a lot of sitting space or food options though. Bathrooms are temporary outhouses which are a little smelly and there’s usually a wait. Ground can get a bit dirty and dusty so don’t bring your fancy shoes.

Liked the food, the place, the view. The price was good for the amount of food served, specially when you are a tourist and compare with the prices in other countries. Unfortunatly I had no idea that you have to order inside, so I sat outside thinking "doesn't any body work here?" 😖. Is there a sign that said to order inside? There isn't. Anyway, I totally recomend the place! Also friendly people working! 👍👍

Very nice location with view of the river. The food was good although not huge in size. The beer selection was nice as well. The parking is limited and it isn't free but it can be solved by parking a nice 5 min stroll away. Particularly nice at sunset obviously.

Wonderful spot overlooking the water. Nice open and airy venue. Was quoted than I expected for a Friday. Food was decent. Burgers and chicken wings. I do think the blue cheese ranch dipping sauce should have been more like a sauce and less like a butter. Friendly enough staff, but not overly enthusiastic (again for a Friday afternoon). Overall decent joint. Would go back.

The venue has some great potential, it’s very child friendly and has a pleasant alfresco area with good views and a playground in close proximity. On a negative, we ordered some lunch and were told it would take 1 hour for the food to arrive.I found this strange since the restaurant wasn’t even busy. When the food finally arrived, it was tasty but cold. If the price wasn’t reasonable and I wasn’t starving I would of sent it back. If they could improve on the food service I’d return. It would be a fantastic place to go during summer.

Such an awesome spot for parties and events. Just hosted our daughter’s fourth birthday there. Kids loved the ball pit and adults loved the bar! The staff were so helpful and accommodating - let us bring our own decorations and cake. Can’t recommend highly enough. Big mum-of-the-year brownie points for that party!

We had over 40 adults and more than 15 kids for my wife’s birthday party at the cabin room on a cold and rainy afternoon. There was plenty of room for all people and the kids were happy to run around and be entertained with the games provided by the facilities, even tho the weather was miserably. So good to be in a place where the adults can relax, drink and eat (yummy pizzas) and the kids can be entertained. Thank you Caitlin for making the day special for my wife. This place is sooo good for families with kids!

AMAZING PLACE!!! We had our sons 1st bday here last Saturday & I am so impressed with how professional & friendly the staff were. We had absolutely no problems at all. The food , service, just everything was 10/10. We will definitely be making this our place to be. Awesome job guys :)

Like to have a beer in a poly carbonate schooner and be greeted by staff who would rather spit on you than serve you a beer... this is definitely the venue for you..!! PS: if you need a cocktail menu, don’t bother asking the staff... they will quickly tell you to find one from a vacant table. Great job.!

Such a great atmosphere for evening sips and nibbles. Elizabeth Quay looks great at sunset and they even show a bit of sport on a large screen. Live music is a nice touch and helps with the ambience. Overall, a chilled evening and worth a visit!

Came here for an event on Sunday night and I want to personally thank Chef George for his exceptional customer service skills even being a back-of-house worker. As my meal was cleared out the table the minute I went to get another drink when I only consumed half of it, I went to enquire about it and Chef George came out and personally and quickly took care of the situation having in mind his customers were happy and satisfied which I truly appreciate given the situation. Lobely food as well so thank you so much again George!

Loved our casual sunday sesh here. Plenty of delicious food outlets and drinks and spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Parking right outside is convenient. Also kid friendly and has a cool playground attached.

Yeh.. Nah. Great potential, but not rushing back. Good points: dog and kid friendly. Bad points: Noisy and loud. Cluttered. Tries hard. Good attempt at a kids area, but music was far too loud and difficult to watch the kids and supervise, without actually sitting in there. Would be nicer outside in a quieter area. Too loud for a Sunday catchup with friends.

The drinks here were so good and the staff was on top of their game. You didn't have to look for anyone to order or wait long once the order was placed. I had a good time hanging out with the people I was with but the vibe of the place was a bit off. I felt like i was in a lit up barn yard or something. I also wasn't crazy about walking 10 minutes through a field of dirt and grass to get there from where my uber dropped me off. Maybe they'll reconsider where they put the pop up bar next year. Over all though it was a good time.

Great spot for a Sunday sesh. Great beer list, a cornucopia of quality food choices (pizza, taco, American style bbq, pizza), lots of parking, next to the awesome Swan river, toilet with a view of the river. Very hard to beat on a Summer day.....

Been to embargo in every location its been in. Looking forward to having it on the point for something different. I always like how they never try to do anything over the top and not charge too much for a beer. I've also been to embargo for a couple of functions and both times have been looked after by the team and had a great private area. Can't wait to see what they put together On The Point.

I love this place. It used to be at Elizabeth Quay. It's an area of grassy parkland along the Swan River, enclosed by a fence made of wooden pallets. Inside are bars and eateries (pizza etc) in containers. Seating is stools around tables made of old cable spools. A stage for live music. Table tennis. I love this place. It's free to get in.

Celebrated NYE's here, first time to check out the Embargo. Lovely location, staff were very friendly, prompt & helpful. The entertainment was good also.

I went here on Saturday 24th Feb. The women staff were rude and never smiling. Security were cool. When walking out of the bar to go for a ciggie you almost get ran over by cyclists and then abused by the fwits.

The new Embargo setting in Vic Park is perfect 👌👌👌👌...Right by the river, the views are perfect. Good for a relaxed night out in any size groups. Limited selection of alcohol but good enough for everyone to find their drink of choice... or something close.
