The owners super cool and they do some pretty neat things, like no extra cost for alt milks. The games are fun, the vibes are great and I over all had a great time. Defs going again to try the food which looks and smells fantastic.

Always the friendliest service and the coffee is always made with love. Those who don’t consume dairy or are lactose intolerant will find that they don’t get charged extra for their milk option. There is also a handy app to order your coffee in advance. Mesh (hope i’ve spelled his name correctly) the manager and all the staff here are really wonderful people. :)

This cafe is amazing. I’ve been working down the road from it for 7 years and this is easily the best cafe I’ve found in the area. The coffee and food is great and the prices are also surprisingly low. The staff are also super lovely! Each time I’ve been here, I’ve been greeted in the warmest way and got my order super fast. They also have a pay it forward program where you can purchase a coffee for someone else less fortunate which I just think is incredible and when I was in there the other day I noticed some other things that indicated this is a business who is socially progressive and genuinely invested in compassionate community support. Amazing! And lastly I’ll say that probably my fave thing is the ability to order online. I have been so frustrated for years that none of the other cafes around my building have done this. It is such a perk when you’re on a quick break in the middle of a busy work day in the busy city to be able to order ahead and then just pop in to pick up. I did this for the first time the other day and my order was put straight in my hand the second I walked in.

A sick coffee joint in downtown Perth with some seriously legendary staff! This was our second visit, and after forgetting the sugar in my girlfriend’s double espresso, the barista insisted he would make a fresh one! Service like no other coffee shop. Much appreciated legend, we’ll be enthusiastic patrons as long as we’re in Perth. The vibes are great with heaps of vintage and modern gaming gear, not to mention a selection of manga and magazines to peruse. Food has been good in my experience as well, although the hot dog buns aren’t my personal favorite! Looking forward to trying a burger and some loaded fries on the next visit. Game City is a Perth icon that is a must visit for any nerd and/or coffee lover!!

What an excellent place! There's so much to love about this cafe! From the ambience to the murals to the amayyyzing game consoles! It's the little things that matter and the lovely and immensely warm owner has an eye for detail. We were offered still and sparkling water on the house. The soecial milks such as almond or lactore free are at no extra cost and OMG the selection of matcha and rose latte and all the exotic stuff is just mindblowing!

Found this awesome cafe walking through the City. Very cool for those retro gamers. Great artwork and even the air con unit painted to look like old school SNES system. First and foremost, my respect for Game City knows no bounds! I stumbled into the cafe as a wary foreigner tired after traveling from Boston to Perth. I was disoriented, alone, and did not know what to expect from this city. Game City was the best stop I ever could have imagined making! When you are traveling very far from home, you prepare yourself for the unknown. Culture shock. Jet lag. Homesickness. Exhaustion. When you find someplace that feels like home in a faraway land, it is an indescribable experience. To be able to come in nearly each day of my trip and feel like I truly belonged is something that I have not ever encountered on any of my many journeys outside of my home country. The owner is a kind man who treats not only regular customers, but newcomers, and that community at large!, with unparalleled generosity. It was so enjoyable being able to read video game magazines, look at what can only be described as COOL STUFF, and sip tasty drinks while I was in this new city. As an insane Nintendo fanatic, obviously this video game themed cafe was going to appeal to me, no matter what. But the owner took his time to get to know me, was so positive, so friendly, and so sincere! This was such a treat. I was immediately impressed with the way he makes charitable donations to organizations in his community. His selflessness made quite an impression on me! If the world operated more like him, it would no doubt be a better, more peaceful and joyous place. So visit, visit, visit! If you like games, visit. If you like coffee, visit. If you like humanity, visit. I'm back in Boston and seriously considering going all the way back to Perth, if only to be in this magical place one more time. Thank you for the drinks, the conversation, the memories, and for the reminder that we are all here for one reason: to make each other's lives a little easier. Cheers!

I think, Bubble tea, tandoori burger, nitro brew coffee is a must try if you are looking for some flavor some stuff. Awesome arty ambience yet grounded with simplicity. Best service in town. The staff are all extremely friendly and remember all the regular customers by name. You can preorder coffee via an app on your way in to work to avoid any wait. The Cafe itself has a great taste in music and movies, with plenty of arcade games to keep you entertained.

I'm so glad I tried this place as it is now my new regular. Fantastic coffee, they use Milk Lab almond milk and don't charge extra for it. Friendly and efficient service with the option to pre-order. Plus, I can play Street Fighter 2 or Mortal Kombat while I wait for my brew. What more could you ask?
