Honest but dated venue. Wife and I had fish and chips and while it was a tasty and generous 2 peices of Barra we felt battered fish shouldn't be chewy and soggy. Came with a very ordinary coleslaw and 2 pickled onions?! The tartare sauce was nice. Service was very good. Probably give it another go but order steak.

We have been coming to the Greenwood for many years. I have always enjoyed my meal there. But tonight this was not the case. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food and unfortunately it was not worth the wait. Plastic bowls, dry carrot and cucumber in salad, chicken parmie that looked like a 5 year old had made it, sad chips and very sticky wobbly table. I did complain at the time and the young waitress was most apologetic. Come on Greenwood, you can do better than this. Covid is no excuse to lower your standards

Positives: Been a customer for 17+ years. Good food and service. Friendly staff. Modern and clean. Plenty of free parking. Not so great: The restaurant has all hard surfaces so it's a noisy place. Not much for young children to do apart play outside on the stairs. Overall, a nice enough dinning venue.

We as in a big crowd of people, from the Warwick bowling center, having our windup. Instead of the function room, this year we were in the main part of the hotel. Plenty of room for our group plus people eating out in this spacious area. The pub looks alot different from past years when i used to roadie for a Perth based pub band. Very nice interior, i can see alot of money was spent refurbishing this pub. The staff were friendly and curtious, but i dont think that they cater for large groups that well as the meals took ages to get served. Overall a good time was had by all. It would have been nice to have seen a menu, to see if it was different to the mundane selections at most of perths pubs. But as we had a set menu for the group booking that was not an option.

They squeezed us in for early doors which was good of them, ok pub grub, lacking any wow factor. Porterhouse was asked for medium cooked and was medium rare, so the fat was not rendered and it was a little chewy. Eye fillet was not consistent medium rare throughout and you would think that a Steakhouse owned by The ALH chain would want to get it spot on. I was also dissappointed with the Guinness too so overall I think 4 stars is being very generous.

Really enjoyed our meal, in fact asked for doggy bag and ate the rest for my tea following evening. Totally suitable for children, we got there for 6.30 with our teenage daughter. Is a kid's menu. Our waitress was lovely. Definitely go back.

Went there for my auntiee birthday party. Thw environment is really good and felt really comfy. I ordered the salt and pepper squid and ribs and wings. The wings were really dry, I do prefer wings with sauce covered on it. The ribs were alright, I definitely had better and the chips were your average pub chips. My mother complained that her crispy pork belly was to dry as it is deep fried. The only thing I really enjoyed was the salt and pepper squid. Amazing staff however the food service was slow. I understand it was really busy on a Saturday night. Unfortunately we will not be visiting again. A tip is make your wings not dry and add chives and that spicy sauce over it.

Best of the best in my steak dining experience in WA. Lovely vibe at the restaurant, very friendly and attentive staff. Food were delicious and that rib eye steak was cooked so beautifully for medium rare. They even offered colouring activity for kids. Absolutely a 👍🏻. Can't fault the service, or selection of meals and drinks. The prices (for pub food) are high and therefore I'd recommend anyone going to take A bottomless credit card, or lots of cash. For my party of 4 with few drinks and no sweets wee were @ $250..

Went to the Green wood for my daughters 21st birthday the staff are awesome so is the manger Erin, they could not do enough for us, the food was great and always love going to this pub even though it takes us 45 minutes to get there highly recommended.

Located North of the. River, the restaurant in the hotel is quite spacious. The menu is quite varied and plenty of choice for Dinner or lunch. Our meal was okay we had a table for 3 people. The service could have been better during our visit. We sat for nearly 20 minutes chatting thinking the staff were busy but noticed others were being served as they walked in so I tagged a waiter who took our drinks order then the food was another good 20 minutes. Not sure we would return.

The food is a little average, the salad always looks limp and been under a heat lamp for days. The food lately has been a bit average and I really wish they would change up the days as to when they have their specials. I'm getting a bit over the burger and pint on a Tuesday night...try mixing it up...make Tuesday night Parmi night or Steak night for a change! So my 5 stars definitely isn't for the food but they go to Joe who works behind the bar in the Tavern. We often go Tuesday nights for the quiz and absolutely love seeing Joe's cheery face! He is friendly, chats to everyone and even brought a glass of water to our table for my daughter which was so sweet of him. He always goes above and beyond what he is supposed to do. Greenwood Tavern should be extremely pleased to have him as one of their bar staff. Certainly nails 'Customer Service'!

Attended a livestream funeral last week (function room) and the great service from the sports bar staff when I ordered a couple of espressos really helped. I have eaten here before... and have never been awed by the service. The food is normally pretty good so we overlook the service. I can only hope that today was out of the ordinary. Firstly, just getting a waitress to the table was a challenge... finally we placed our orders. The kids finished their meals and wanted to go home and we don’t even have our starters. No communication from the staff unless we go up and ask the question just serves to further infuriate the situation. I will come again because this isn’t the norm but come on guys please pick up your game. Edit: Came back again. Food was good. Service was good. Definitely more responsive than last time. Changed the star rating accordingly - thanks guys for a good meal.

Went recently and found the restaurant is a la carte. It's good to see they're changing it up and seeing what works. Great staff, good food, well priced. The menu is a bit overwhelming, but a good Aussie pub selection. Sports bar is killer. Massive, pool tables, gigantic tab, great atmosphere. The staff in the sports bar don't have the same bounce in their step, but still chilled. Overall, 2 thumbs up!

Birthday lunch for 2 at the Greenwood Tvn. Exceptional as always. Caleb and staff were fabulous. Was so disappointed, embarrassed and disgusted that in this time of max 20 persons there was a booked table for 9 that did not show or call and walk in paying people had been turned away. That was half their daily take to help keep them going. SHAM SHAM. Any disaster could warrant a quick call to cancel.

Meal was a bit below par on some dishes but still a pleasant evening with friends. The staff and management are very friendly and the Hotel is well maintained and management do seem to listen to customer feedback. I shall return in the future and see whether my concerns with the overall consistency of meals in regards to quality are addressed. I acknowledge that good kitchen staff are increasingly hard to find and occasionally things do go ''pear shaped'' in the hospitality food industry as a result. I hope management can get together with staff and put in place a system which guarantees patrons a top notch meal every time. Best of luck!

The food is awesome. The tavern is well maintained with a good vibe. The live singer was good. Service wise, i think can be improved. Service personnel are not very friendly, they hardly smile and we had to wait for quite awhile before being seated despite there were heaps of empty seats. Food came in a timely manner. I would recommend this place for a try :)

I have always loved the Greenwood Hotel. It is a great place that has delicious pub/steak house style food. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient, and it always has a buzzing atmosphere. The food comes out quickly and is always tasty. I know I can come here if I am in a rush as I can usually come in, eat and get out within an hour, which is great if I am on my way out.

The staff are awesome and so friendly and usually the restaurant has even better food but I am not sure if the chef's have changed because my last meal was almost inedible. We ordered the reef and beef special for $48 each which is a great price we thought and we were so excited for it but the food was a let down. The creamy garlic sauce tasted off and I had to send it back and got mushroom gravy instead which tasted like it had just come out of a packet. The crayfish was cold and tough and didn't taste fresh at all. I asked for medium rare steak and it came back bloody and cold and usually my partner can eat rare meat but he couldn't eat this it was raw and had a funny taste. The chips were oil soaked like they had been flash fried and then refried. The best thing on the plate was the salad and dressing which even that was the store bought packet salad mix. The Kilpatrick oysters were still amazing though but will not be ordering reef and beef again.

Attentive service with a varied pub menu at reasonable prices. Having been here several times over the years this pub offers a consistent experience in a pleasant environment. It can get noisy inside but there is outdoor seating available if you need a breath of fresh air or escape from the hubbub. It's not a romantic tete-a-tete kind of place, more of a family group, club event or birthday experience. Individual billing is available and very welcome if you're having a meal with a group. Plenty of parking and easy access from Warwick Road and the Freeway. Been coming for years. Recommended.

Chef Dani runs an excellent kitchen @ The Greenwood Hotel! Last Saturday, we were invited to dinner at the Greenwood. I was reluctant to go as my previous visit, at least a year ago, for a Sunday roast lunch, was less than satisfactory. I ordered "Chef Dani Snitzel" for a change, and it was perfectly cooked, as were the small potatoes. My partner had the pasta, which was superb. Our friends ordered fish & chips and the steak, which were also cooked to perfection. It's a long time since I have dined out in Perth and been so delighted with the quality, quantity and service as we experienced here. You can tell that there is "love" in the kitchen, and I must say that the rest of the staff did a fantastic job too when it came to looking after out table. Well done everyone! We'll spread the work and definitely be coming back soon!

The Northern Gourmet Toastmasters Cub has their meetings in one of Greenwood Hotel functions room every alternate Thursdays. I found the service & food was excellent. Steak was good. The food prices was reasonable. The venue was good for group meetings, well lighted carparks with a lot of parking spots.

The Greenwood Hotel and the restaurant which is called Graziers Steakhouse is ALWAYS very busy so make sure if you want to go, make a booking. As you can see from one of my phones the menu is quite extensive. Prices are on the higher side however meals are of good size, plus they now do a seniors lunch specials. The bar area is just off the restaurant plus they also have a sports bar with TAB attached. Only negative is it can get fairly noisy they due to being busy..

We had two rump steaks, a lamb dish and a pork belly salad. The two rump steaks were as good a steak as I’ve eaten anywhere. Tender, cooked perfectly and awesome taste. My mates wife gave me a taste of the lamb (bbq’d) and it was awesome. My wife had the pork belly salad and it was was well below par. The pork belly was tasteless, bland and the rind was soft. The waitress asked us how the food was and I told her, but did nothing to rectify the pork belly dish. This soured an otherwise great meal.

A lovely lady Megan served us from the time we arrived and continued to make sure we were happy and well looked after the whole time without any excess pressure. Her customer service was excellent. Made my friend and I feel very welcome and knows how to treat her customers with utmost respect. My passionfruit cheesecake with cream on the side and an earl grey tea was lovely and only cost me $9 for both. I highly recommend Greenwood tavern because of their fantastic customer service from most of those who work there but Megan just stood out the best.

Unfortunately drinks (wines / beers) range doesn't stray from the bare minimum - wide range of taps and only a single craft pouring (four pines stream ale) - predictable but was a bit disappointed - didn't check their packaged stuff. Wines had a reasonable showing of local performers.

Service and staff were fine. Prices are middle of the road tending towards pricey. I go once a year now and only cause i have to. Im perplexed at some of the reviews below, but each to their own.
