It is so loud here to the point where you need to yell to have a conversation. If you're after a relaxing dinner this is not the place. They have a page of cocktails of their own creation and don't do any classics, which is kind of annoying. The food is pretty good though.

Love the atmosphere of this place and the vibe upon entering when it's busy. Great for a party or event too! I don't understand why some of the seating areas get fenced off so early for reservations either. Like there was an entire area that was blocked off before 5 for a 7pm event. No need for that. -T

Fun atmosphere, outdoor garden with flashes of my last trip to Florida with a ply list that helps send my mind there. Cocktail list is limited & they do not dabble outside that comfort zone. Mostly 18-25yr old. Would be nice to see some Miami jazz to bring in the 25+ who are there to spend but I guess we would want a more extensive cocktail menu. Food is always delicious. Doggy friendly with no additive too jerky. Staff are lovely but not worldly. I continue to return as o live the garden atmosphere. Definitely worth a drink & tapas.

Had a really relaxing late lunch at Henry Summer. Gorgeous with a chill garden vibe, hanging plants and modern chic decor. The food was amazing! The fish and chips fried to perfection, the grill chicken was tender and flavourful. The sharing board of ham+cheese+hummus are equally delicious with the bread basket that comes with it.

Nice spot that attracts a young, vibrant crowd. There's lots of greenery, different places to sit, and a pastel pink wall and bathroom for all your instapics if that's your jam. Music gets a bit banging at night.

Great ambience. The greenery adds to the experience. One waitress was friendly and polite. The food... I think a little overpriced. We ordered the seafood platter for 2 - 3 to share for $95 - I don't think it was enough to feed one. I did like the dipping sauces that came with it. My friend ordered the black chicken salad and it was also a very a small serve for $18. The cheese board were about $34 - the one we got, my husband thought it could have been easily replicated with produce from the Coles deli. With some improvement to the menu, it would be a GREAT place for a nice meal and a catch up.

Amazing space that you wouldn't guess from the street entrance. It opens up to an indoor bar that is impressive on the eye. The tap cocktails are way too sweet and there is also a wide range of wines if this is more your thing. The kind of bar that you could easily lose an afternoon to.

Cute decor, great to see lots of vegan options but the serving sizes were mindbogglingly small. $22 for one quarter of a small Roasted cauliflower is wild even for Perth. That makes it a $100 cauliflower, in this economy?!

I would have given Henry a 5 if they didn't premake their cocktails! Pre making cocktails makes them taste flat and when you pay $18 for a cocktail, you want it to be made fresh in front of you. The food on the menu is nice but would have liked more fresh vs fried share plate options. The staff were lovely in the lead up to our private function and on the day. I'd return for a casual drink or private function

A huge change from the old shed. A slightly upmarket contemporary bar with cool vibes and tunes to match. Staff are super friendly and the cocktail range is enough to tickle the tastebuds. A great summer venue with pleanty of outdoor seating right in the heart of Northbridge. A cool place for groups or couples. I will be coming back here again.

A great addition to the open and relaxing summer venues of Perth. Located in Aberdeen street Northbridge Henry Summer is a great open air venue to sit back and enjoy Perth’s great weather. Great music playing and friendly staff are a plus! You can even get your sunscreen and insect repellent here!

Really stunning place to visit with a massive space inside and interior was pretty cool - loved the colour scheme and vibe. Food/drinks were a bit hit and miss, cauliflower salad and pizza were decent but cocktails weren’t as described/weren’t consistent... Biggest disappointment was that the staff on the door were incredibly rude and dismissive which really put a dampener on things as the staff on the bar were so friendly and accommodating.

Amazing Decor! 👌🏻 It’s like walking into an Empire Furniture showroom on steroids. Was a little but disappointed they couldn’t do a whisky sour as it’s off menu. For me it was beautiful just staring at the plants and light fittings. Food was okay got dumplings, sauce was a bit cold. Wouldn’t order again. French fries were delicious but were cold. The beef carpaccio was probably the nicest. The venue is a nice up- market change to Aberdeen Street.

First of all, dog friendly place is such a win!!! Service is fab with so many different options and food was delicious - the roasted pumpkin got me so good, I didn’t even have time to take a photo before eating it all! The sweet potato chips with avocado dip were also a huge hit. Service from the staff was second to none and having the fire on whilst it was raining a little made it so comfortable and inviting! On Sunday i held my sons Baptism at Henry Summers in Northbridge. I had approx 60 adult guest and 11 young children. All my guest are still raving on how fabulous the day was. Right from the very beginning of organising the event Sarah was so helpful, patient and professional. Sarah made the event planning stress free. On the day all the staff were exceptional and the food was at the next level of delicious!! it was fresh and modern. My big Italian family left feeling with satisfied tummies. I would book my next venue here in a heart beat.

Was nice when it first opened but now it’s yet another packed out club in perth with trash for facilities. ie Brocken toilets, non functioning toilet doors and groups of guys doing lines in the loo. Classy joint 👎

Has atmosphere but also has smokers and pre-mixed cocktails. Conflicted about this place... it's good for a casual drink. The decor is nice, there are plants everywhere and on a Friday night you can sit around a table and still hear yourself think. Major downfalls are that smoking is allowed outside (which is half the venue) - seriously, are we back in the 90s? Also cocktails are premade and just poured in a glass. Classy enough but with prices that reflect that. Quite opposite to the shed.

Food is decent, nice atmosphere but the cocktails are so so. The espresso cocktail was just a premixed solution and the other fruity one I ordered tasted like sickly sweet cordial with no alcohol.. for this only 3 stars. I would stick with drinks on tap at this place.

Great ambience, perfect for groups to just chill out with a few beers or cocktails, evening dress code is quite vast, from casual to dressy. No live music. Plenty of little areas to sit down with plenty of heaters spread around for those cold nights. Pricing was ok and my friends that got some food really enjoyed it, no table service so you need to order and pick up food from the bar.

Most enjoyable for the first visit to this establishment The bar staff especially the three on duty tonight were some of the most attentive and freindly that I have come across in a long time. Food wise ,the salmon dish was excellent cooked to a high standard I had a simple burger and chips which was tasty and in my opinion was the equal of any which you would pay a far lot more for. Surroundings first class . Definitely worth a visit.

Chilled tropical vibe, friendly helpful staff. Music is played too loud, the atmosphere would be improved with varying the volume levels in different areas to allow opportunity to engage in conversation without the need to scream so the person next to you can hear. It’s also ridiculous that they charge $5 for one soda water. The food was very nice.

Came in for a last minute wedding celebration September 12th with a party of about 15 and they were really accommodating and kind! Very sweet manager Sarah even put reserved signs on the tables. Very awesome customer service! Would definitely recommend. Made my wedding day less stressful for sure as we didn’t really expect everyone to show.

Nice venue but food from restaurant was very average for price. Small servings and expensive with average to poor presentation. Staff were excellent and we're very helpful. bathrooms were small, pokey and quite dirty (male) the place is popular with loud music and attracts a fairly tame and respectful crowd. The drinks are average price. Overall the venue is nothing special but it does have a really nice outdoor / palm tree tropical vibe.

One of the best kept dining secrets in Perth! Except judging by the full restaurant every time we go there, it's not so secret. Every dish our table had was outstanding, the staff excellent with comfortable chairs and table. Reasonable prices, large portion sizes and with parking out the front paired with food this good, no wonder it's become our regular!

A fun venue with great decor (lots of green space!) but can be quite expensive ($15 For a G&T) and my friend's mocktail was seemingly just orange juice with a dash of pineapple. A nice outdoor spot for a sunny afternoon but probably just somewhere to kick off and move onto the next.

Beautiful venue! Made a stop here during a pub crawl for a friend's birthday. Nice outdoor areas and plenty of seating. Turn over at the bar was a bit slow. I know it was busy, but we had to wait a long time to be served. Dress code is smart casual, the boys were told no hoodies.

Not a bad place in the middle of Northbridge. It's certainly better than what was in its place a few years ago 😂 only 3 stars as we enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor on a warm evening but the toilets were atrocious. Absolutely filthy like no one had checked them for 3 days. Also we had some red wine and took them back for the same wine from a newly opened bottle. The wine we were originally given was at least a week old. Will try this place again.

It’s a pretty venue, a cheap makeover but it works. The food was very nice although there is no table service, you even have to go pick up your meal from the bar!! Even by Perth standards that is very poor. Why is there a credit card surcharge?? Very strange in this day and age when no one uses cash as if the fact you can smoke in some areas. The bar staff who took my order was friendly but I wouldn’t bother returning.

I booked Henry Summer as stop 2 on a progressively long lunch and the events team were an absolute dream to deal with. They made everything so easy, confirmed every detail and made my day perfect. The food was absolutely sensational and I highly recommend this venue.

Great find. No name out the front however it had lots of atmoshpere, tropical, and lots of different areas to sit. We had lunch and all enjoyed our meals, prices were reasonable, although I did ask to have sweet potato fries instead of white with my fish and chips and was told "that is not possible" well it is possible you just do not want to do it, just charge me an extra $1 but do it as I do not eat white potato, you seem to try and cater for vegans and vegetarians why not be a little more flexible.

Great summery bar/restaurant. The ambiance is really cosy and refreshing, which is matched by the friendly staff and the delicious healthy options on the menu. If you're looking for a cheesy, oily and fatty dinner you'll struggle here. But if you are up for a delicious meal that won't be too taxing on your waist line, you'll be spoiled for options. It's a shame that there is no table service, but it is understandable given how big the place is. Enjoy a table in the outdoors area even if you forgot your sunscreen; they have some of it for you at the bar.

Had daughter’s 21st at Henry Summer in the Patio area on Friday 23rd November 7-10pm. Would like to say a big thank you to Sarah the event Manager and Harley the barman that looked after us. Everything went so well. Nothing was too hard, all other staff in Henry Summer were so lovely to us as well. We ordered drinks and had food as part of the bar tab. All guests commented what a great space it was and had a good time. Would highly recommend to anyone for a function.

Very casual and chill vibe. Lots of space that makes it seem like a few different bars charmingly linked up by alleys. The only criticism I have is that my friends using the girls toilets kept going on and on about how awesome it was in there. Indeed, I saw heaps of flashes behind the frosted glass door. Was it selfie heaven? What secrets are being kept in there? Anyway, I was recommended to go check out the toilets and my own experience was not as ground breaking. I've attached a photo but it wasn't the Wonkaland I was expecting.

An excellent casual tropicana themed gastro pub with expansive outdoor seating and weekend DJs. I love being able to use Henry Summer for a quiet catch up with friends or a big impromptu group night. There are a range of tasty counter meals for around $25, burger lovers should check out the $21 double stack option with bacon! On the weekends the venue is well staffed so you won't wait long for a drink, they also do shooters. A big improvement on the old venue known as the shed, this place attracts a trendy young crowd

Googles best Espresso Martini and Urban Spoon suggested we try this place. Upon arrival the venue look chic, filled with the cool kids. Ordered said cocktail and another to find they were both premade. No theatre from making the cocktail and no soul.
