12 of us spent a lovely evening enjoying the food and atmosphere. I have never been disappointed and the size of the portions str HUGE. Only thing that did not happen and that was to bring water to the table. I will continue to go there for dinner a great evening with super friends and food

The food was excellent. The staff was friendly. Despite the crowd, the wait was very reasonable :) it was a very family friendly space and the place was spacious and clean. I ordered the Scotch fillet which was absolutely amazing. Very satisfied with it. I would recommend this place and I would return to try the other dishes. Well done :)

Vietnamese Pork Belly Salad was divine. The flavours were intense and the pork belly was cooked to perfection. Paired it with one of the Christmas Special cocktails ~ Berry Blitz. Very refreshing. Bar Staff were super friendly and the drinks, especially the cocktail, were beautifully presented.

We had a business meeting at the Kingsway Bar & Bistro today. Have not been at the Bistro for a few months. Bartender was spot on with his recommendation and enjoyed the ginger beer. Party of 4, we all enjoyed our food. The servings are HUGE! Great value for what you pay. Staff was friendly and polite. All 4 of us selected different menu options. Steak was tasty and not cooked dried. The Calamari plate was huge. The lady that had it left half due to the size of the portion 😊. Had a good experience and will come again.

Had lunch at the Kingsway Food was very nice we all thought it was pricey $$$ compared to other Taverns. We had Spaghetti Bolognese $26. Vegetable Stack $24 both Average meals nothing special. We ordered Desserts $13- $15 & Coffees $9. Coffees came out very quick but desserts were aboute 15-20 mins had to go up and ask, we were told sorry we forgot??? (4 desserts). After paying for them. Coffees went cold by this time. Don’t think we will be back.. As a job, I take 10-15 people to different taverns pubs maybe 3 times a week, was left questioning Price vs Meal compared to other Taverns. Suggest : coffee & cake $9 special to be included everyday of the week.Serve desserts first then followed by coffees..

I was discriminated against at the bar when I ordered drinks. Ive always had a decent experience here but unfortunately today I was refused service at the bar by the manager. The rest of the staff were okay with me having a medical exemption as I can breath with a mask on. Unfortunately the older lady with blonde hair which is the manager made one of her staff refuse me service after just giving me a drink 5 minutes prior. This is discrimination and not okay. This lady should not be working here if she's going to discriminate.

Had a lovely meal for Valentines, friendly staff who took us to our table, and brought our food, as for the girl with the white hair clip in her hair, was not a happy bunny, very unfriendly, when she forgot to put the lemon in my drink, she wasn’t amused when my husband went back to ask for some, second time at the bar excactly the same attitude, we never let it spoil our evening, she obviously wasn’t happy at work that night, won’t stop us from returning as your food is always great. 😃

Eton strawberry mess was below average. Smothered in ready-made strawberry sauce that was sickly sweet. Creme brulee was nice and enjoyable.

My husband and i were at Kingsway Bar and Bistro for mother's day lunch. OMG!!!! There was a Buzz in the restaurant as it was full of happy customers. This is what i feel about our experience. The staff were friendly and courteous. The place was clean and a big WOW for the food. I ordered slow cooked lamb shanks and it was absolutely delicious and it was a big serving that i couldn't eat it all. My husband ordered grilled scotch fillet that he was so full when he finished his meal. I highly recommend this place to every one. Money well spent. They deserve five stars .

Food was great. I had barramundi with mash and greens. Fish was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth while skin was crispy. Mash was so smooth and vegies well cooked. Could not fault it. Price was comparable with most pub bistros in Perth i have been to. Will certainly go back. Staff were all very pleasant.

My friend had the lamb shank and the meat was very tender and fell off the bone. I had veal schnitzel and it was tender and very tasty. It had a mushroom sauce on it. Seems to have been historically hit and miss in terms of food quality, however dining there yesterday evening, I enjoyed an above average pork belly; something sweet or perhaps acidic may have been nice to balance the intense umami of the pork. It was delicious nonetheless, and a good serving size too. My father said the BBQ pork ribs were some of the best he has ever had. As for dessert – there seems to be a dessert revolution about in my area. The Kingsway usually presents with unappetising stock standard dessert options. Today was different, the children enjoyed A scoop of ice cream with assorted lollies and choccies, whilst I enjoyed a creme brûlée. The body of the creme was delicious, however the caramelised warm top was ruined by a scoop of ice cream placed directly on top. The accoutrement was excellent, just misassembled, in my opinion. Overall, an ageing establishment that now seems to be revitalising their food. With some slight tweaks, this could become a contender for my Perth top 10

Really lovely bar and dining area. Arrived without a reservation but they were able to squeeze us in. Very busy but the noise did not reflect that. I had the chicken salad with spinach, pumpkin, beetroot, fetta, and pine nuts which I had had before. Little more spinach and a little less pumpkin and beetroot this time but still a very tasty dish. We ordered the "apple crumble" and an icecream sundae for dessert. The desserts weirdly came out 15 minutes apart. The apple crumble was a delicious twist on an old fave and the sundae arrived deconstructed. Altigether it was a great meal and the missing star is because of the desserts not coming out together. Will definitely dine here again!

Been here twice recently having a family get together on a weekend. The weekend crowd boasts the popularity o this place. The menu here is quite broad yet the food is good and the quality consistent. If you don't like the crowds then come on a week day. On weekends it is generally packed which can lead to long food lines however the staff will do their best to ensure your table's orders arrive together hot and delicious. The bar is efficient and has a good range of beer and alcohols. Good value for a night out.

FOOD ★★★★★ SERVICE ★★★★☆ PRICE ★★★★☆ Still one of the best places to catch up with friends and family for a night out to a good meal, The Kingsways Bar and Bistro delivers an amazing service with a friendly atmosphere. The dining area is separate to the TAB area, with a room dividing them ensuring those looking for the dining experience aren't exposed to that section of the facility which is great. The food is fantastic, quality is on point every time, the place is always so busy but there is barely a waiting time for main meals, and the specials of the day are always a great go to for something new. You get what you pay for, and can take things away in nicely packed containers, showing they really care about quality. Staff are friendly and prices are fair, the place is always clean and its no wonder it gets packed out so often, the management of the place really reflects an improved vibe, and I hope they keep that up.

Initially looking at the menu I thought it might be a little expensive but the portion sizes certainly weren't lacking. I think it was pretty quiet for a Sunday lunch but our table of 7 only waited about 15 minutes for the meal to come out. Not sure if there was a particular reason for it but the aircon seemed to be cranking today so it was a little cold. Overall a pretty decent meal with a good drink selection.

THE BARRAMUNDI HERE IS AMAZING!! Me and my partner come here very often - he gets the peppercorn steak and I get the barramundi with greens and mash - the best I have ever had. I hope they keep these on the menu as I recommend this place to everyone and will continue to dine in as often as I can. Kingsway Tavern can be a little busy but the staff are always great and will always find us a seat, the food comes out reasonably quickly - the price is a little high but to me it is 100% worth it :)

Nice clean premises. Food was ok, but very expensive for pub grub. Staff are hit and miss, some very nice, others a bit sour. Service is not great. Beer selection is dreadful. Wall to wall CUB beers. For a place with so many taps there is so little selection. If they could find a couple of taps to rotate local beers like Feral/Mash/Cheeky Monkey/Rocky Ridge/Nail etc, I would come again. At least stock some packaged beers!
