Went for lunch. This is an old style sports bar based on an old American theme. A little dark but the lunch specials are amazing for the price. My steak sandwich came with fries and a glass of beer for $10. Not massive servings but for $10 you really can't complain. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Love the mustangs It's by far the most friendly and laid back place in Perth. Everyone always seems to be having a great time to the live music and the have free dance lessons etc. Never seen any trouble here in the 8 years I've been in perth! Highly recommend you go have a boogie here and let your hair down

Absolutely love Tuesday nights here! Fabulous free beginners class with pumping beats and great instructors. The intermediate classes are informative and fun and the social is full of amazing dancers. The bartenders are on the ball and the vibe is casual and relaxed.

Ended up here after dinner, I had not been there in a number of years. Not much has changed in the look of the place. Was a great night, the bar service was quick and very friendly even though it was quite busy. The band was good, playing mainly music from 80-90's, suited the venue well. The house music was more modern. Restroom were cleaner then expected in a late night bar.

It's been a while since I've step foot in a bar and it must have been the night, but the guys definitely out weighed the girls. Must have been a game on or something. But all in all a fun night with polite people just out to have a good time. I came with a few girlfriends and a few guys hit on us which was quite flattering considering our age. Great live music.

This place has good and bad. They play 90s song and older. mostly the people here are over 30s to 50s, floor's always wet from spilled drinks as after 11 it can be quiet chaotic. Drinks are affordable. Staff are always friendly. Free dance lesson here every Tue and Thu. Cleanliness and interior needs improvement.

I'm not huge on the live music scene where the music is in need of updating, however, the bar staff are quick, the wine menu is decent and the beer selection for both tap and bottle beer is extensive. Cocktails available, I have never tried them here. Many a decent spirit is available. Priced not bad. The place needs an update in music and decor. A dust wouldn't go astray either. Very popular with older people aged 30 and over

Love this place!! 🤩 Cool mix of people (mainly backpackers and young people), good vibes, nice music (often even live music), and drinks are more affordable than in other places in Northbridge! ;) TIP: Don't forget your photo ID or they won't let you in!

This place has been doing salsa classes and dancing on Tuesday nights for years and years. The first hour from 7pm to 8pm is free and there is a class for absolute beginners. then there are classes at different levels from beginner to intermediate for a few hours, then it's dancing for all until about midnight. I have also been here on other nights, where it is more of a "normal" bar, but my favourite is and probably always will be the salsa nights on Tuesdays from 7pm (as long as it keeps going this way).

Mustang is pretty great! Never a disappointment, as music is pretty good if you're into throw backs and classics. Having live music is awesome as well. The people there are pretty laid back, so even if you're looking for a casual night out, this is a good place. The vibe is fun and energetic. Free entry makes it a safe choice if you're not sure if it's for you. Definitely recommend.

One of the best places for travellers and backpackers alike. You MUST go here on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, where the deal is $5 for a burger and a drink, and you get to enter the pool comp. If you are a backpacker and are in a hostel, these guys treat you like royalty. Great place for a midweek party. The band is good and the atmosphere is great. Ample place to dance and lots of pool tables and you can still get a good feed. GO HERE!

Often frequented place by uni students/backpackers/ language exchange students for cheap beer and burger. Cool place to hang out but gets really loud when there's live music like a club. Floors are very sticky and you can feel it when you're walking. Tuesdays there's free salsa class for an hour.

Came here one night to wait on a friend and have a couple beers. Not a bad place, but wish there were more craft beers to choose from. This is a bar (in the Northbridge area of Perth) that turns into a club... There's a bar on one side, a small dance floor near the entrance, some pool tables, and an elevated floor in another corner with tables... I would have liked to stay a bit longer. I also liked how this club seemed a bit less noisy than other ones.

Friday lunches at Mustangs are amazing. They have a proper little bbq behind the bar, and just crank out burgers, steak sambos and the like. Anyone know anywhere else you can get a fantastic, fresh meal AND any beer / wine / softie for $9.95?!? Burger / Chips / Beer for $9.95!!! Needs a refurb, looking a bit run down now...and the queue can be a bit long - thus 4 not 5 stars. Food, drink and value only? It would be 10 stars from 5...

Free Salsa classes on Tuesday night, live concert and great party spot on Wednesday night, as a lot of backpackers gather over there. Great place to make some new friends and have a nice chat while enjoying a tasty tap beer.

Pretty standard sports bar. But the Lindy Hop crew dance to a live band from 7pm Fridays. That's always good value. The door security can be a bit overbearing though. We went to watch super rugby on a warm night. I was wearing polo shirt, nice shorts and $70 leather sandals.. "Ya can't come in wearing thongs mate"

Easy to have a good night here. Earlier in the evening can be specialty bands/dancing (swing, etc..) then gets decent later at night on the weekends with cover bands and big crowds. Messy in a perfect way.

Always my first stop out for a night on the town when i'm in perth. The crowd is different than your regular club crowd, and the atmosphere is great with the live band and everyone dancing having a good time. The bouncers are always a class act, and keep the line out front running smoothly. Rarely have i had to wait more than 30 minutes to get in even on a busy night.

The Mustang Bar is a great place to go to if you like sports, especially soccer. It's also a great place to come and dance, as there are usually a few dancers or DJs at the bar performing during the night. There is a projector there for the sports, and there are a few TVs there as well, also for sports. Drink prices are ok, not too cheap and not too expensive.
