Stopped here on a whim for dinner and it was the best decision I made all day. Staff here were really nice and although a little loud the atmosphere was really good and up vibe. The menu has a good range to choose from and our order came out in a very timely manner. The steak was close to perfect and the gnocchi was extremely good. The food coming to us from the kitchen was spot on. It was a great way to finish off a Sunday afternoon.

Nice venue for a beer or a good dining experience. Quality menu a step above the usual pub grub. Outside tables are a bit rustic and splintery. The outdoors ambience is significantly obstructed by the winter marquis. It impedes into the area and segregates the customers.

We had a family celebration for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. We chose the Raffles as that is where they spent their wedding night 60 years ago. It was a great decision. Celebrated NYE at Raffles and what a great evening, due to Covid restrictions things had to be changed from the advertised evening but what a wonderful job they did. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff, although there was one staff member with a very loud voice. They have a good menu and an extensive beverage list. You may sit in the bar area, more formal dining area or in the beer garden. Place orders at the bar, meals are then served to your table. American Express and other cards are accepted, but there is a fee charged.

We had my sister in laws 40th girls lunch at The Raffles yesterday and the food was really enjoyable. I love the ordering system using QR Codes or the option to order at the bar for those less tech savvy.. it makes going out with crowds a lot easier as splitting the bill at the end of the function is never fun and always awkward. The manager (I think) was very sweet, my niece was there with us waiting for her uncle to pick her up and while she waited he gave her a bowl of chips just because. It’s moments like those that people remember and make a place shine. Important to note that the Cocktails looked incredible - I didn’t have any myself but they certainly looked the part. I also loved that you could dress up or go in quite casual - I was worried it would be super fancy but it turned out to be just right.

(Mother & Father review) Always a great atmosphere, friendly customer service and great food. I particularly love the mushroom pizza and the kids cheeseburger and chips is great value. The manager Tony always makes us feel special and is very professional on his work. We recommend the Raffles to everyone, singles, couples, families and larger groups.

Attended the Wagyu & Whisky dinner last week. Brilliant event! Unbelievable food and whiskies to pair and the room was set up beautifully. Had pizza and beer in the beer garden. Nice decor and food, great location. Some of the waitstaff were good, some were a little aloof, i didn't understand the need for a bouncer to watch over small tables of middle aged women eating their meals, but hey who knows we might of felt like getting into a bit of a bar fight

We went there for a party. The dood was amazing and service was good. The reason for a 3 stars is because on the floor there was like a hole which was covered with black tape and dancing wearing heels in that area (which was the only one) was a bit risky and although there were no accidents a few of us got our heels stuck.

Went to the raffels for a function and it was ok , the beer was cold and the bar staff were quite quick at moving through the orders so you didn't have to wait too long . Limited menu but the food we ordered was very good. Unfortunately our table was next to the door to the alfresco area and other guests weren't very considerate and constantly left the door open, so we were uncomfortably cold and had to repeatedly shut the door during our meal which spoilt our enjoyment considerably.

Went to the raffles last night to watch the AFL grandfinal, the service was A-grade, the waiters were friendly, the security guard at the door had a good banter and the food was next level.I got the 300g rump with the potato parfait. I’ve never been so impressed by the taste of potato in my life haha and the steak was cooked to perfection. My mates got some burgers and they looked better than what you’d see from a dedicated burger restaurant. I will be coming back to try the whole menu.

After years of not visiting the Raffles, I decided to bring a dear friend for lunch. I was sooo disappointed!! The menu looked great but once served it was nothing special with dry chips & oily battered fish. My friend tried the Chicken Parma & the same was experienced with dry chicken! The music was too loud to have a normal chat. In such a great location it was a disappointment! 🍽🍷🍺🎶😟

Mains - Chicken parmigiana. Cooked well a thicker breast that maintained it flavour and texture. Hand cut chips and side salad were the perfect compliment. Dessert - Nutella doughnuts. Perfectly cooked. Definitely one for the sweet tooth. Ice cream sandwiche left something be desired. Balsamic glaze was an interesting choice. Overall a nice place near the river to have a cheeky pint or good quality meal.

This restaurant perspires aussie history... Just have a look at the collage of pictures that are amazing for ACDC fans.. Now, the restaurant... one of the bests ribeye you can have. Mine was rare, my colleage had it well done... and both were great. Just one thing is that I expected to have some views of the skyline... and that's only to have a drink at the edge... Good place to go at least once.

One of my favourite drinking and dancing place, just in front of the waterfront where Canning and Swan rivers join! The first Friday of the month they play 80s music, unfortunately till midnight only, but location and view is really appreciate. It’s possible to dine till late, or just have a snack as the cod croquettes: my delicious favourite 😋! Easy to reach by car, and close to canning bridge station too.

Fantastic experience at The Raffles. After having 3 dinner bookings cancelled at other venues that I would think should be more grateful for a group booking for 17 people, the team at Raffles came to my rescue and were able to accommodate my group with great ease. After hearing almost only bad things about this venue, I'd avoided it for years (like... 18 years 😂) Meeting a friend for a few drinks I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly, and I really liked the venue layout. Fairly standard drink prices which is one thing I'd heard was an issue, but based on what we were drinking, it was no more expensive than anywhere else. Outdoor seating was nice in the shade on a hot day, and a DJ was setting up just as we were leaving. I didn't try any food but will be sure to on my next visit. All in all my preconceived ideas were wrong, based on this visit, and I would definitely come back.

Stopped in for the food and stayed for the trivia. Great food (prosciutto/rocket pizza was awesome) and top notch service. Trivia was a good time and well organized. We also saw two dolphins just off the shore next to the river walkway before we sat down. Great place all around and a cool little bit of history involving AC/DC. We’ll be back!

Place is very nice, you can get great photos there, service is fine. Food on the other hand was nothing to die for. I got a caesar salad ($16) + $10 for chicken. You expect a decent serve of chicken. AMIRITE? I have never felt so disappointed 😞 before. Pretty sure I got like less than 30grs worth of chicken. It was pretty much lettuce and it wasn't even as tasty as I thought it would be. On the other hand, garlic bread is amazing!! If I ever go back there, I'll make sure to get something like the steak sandwich or the garlic bread.

Great view and from what I saw great food (I didn't eat). Bestt suited to a younger crowd (I hate the fact that I am now post 50) as the outside music was a tad loud but good selection. A great place to have a drink and grab a snack or a meal while enjoying the river views at Canning Bridge. Parking is not too bad but public transport is better, being right at the Canning Bridge train station and on Canning Highway a very busy bus transit route. Beeilar Noongars used his beautiful site as a campsite for thousands of years.The Canning Bridge hotel was built on it in1896. Extensive renovations and an extension occurred in 1936 and the name changed to the Raffles Hotel. The high rise apartment complex was built amid great contraversy by Multiplex in1985.

Beautiful venue, fantastic food, terrible staff. Came for my birthday lunch and the food was absolutely fantastic, my fussy mother even raved about how great and enjoyable each dish was!! Shame about the customer service - Monday arvo so wasn't busy and on arrival we asked if we go through and find a table or wait for staff and in reply we were grunted at by who I assume was the DM as she wasn't wearing the same uniform as other staff. Then when we ordered food and drinks the guy barely acknowledged us never mind a smile. We felt like the food was roughly thrown at us at the table again by the DM, I must've asked her if they had dry chilli 5 times only to be grunted at again. Eventually I went to the bar and asked the underwhelmed depressed bartender who managed to get it from the kitchen. This was seen by the DM and she didn't even offer any kind of... " Sorry, I got caught up busy" or general manners. If she spent as much energy on actually working and practicing her customer service rather than storming around looking busy then maybe the other staff wouldn't look so depressed and underwhelmed and follow her lead. Thanks to the kitchen, sunny weather and lovely venue itself we enjoyed the afternoon.

Idyllic location set just beside the River with outdoor covered tables and chairs. Plenty of room inside mostly of the standing type. Easy and quick bar service, reasonable prices. Last month (Jan 2020) I hosted my engagement party at the Raffles (Riverside Room). I can't recommend this venue enough, our night was amazing and ran so smoothly. A special mention to Val the Functions and Events Manager, who was honestly amazing! She met with me weeks prior to go through all the food/dietary requirements, drinks and event layout. She was so attentive to all details and all requests I had. She just made me feel extremeley supported and less stressed knowing she had it all covered. I am super grateful and will always cherish the night. The food was amazing and I had so many guests commenting on the quality of it all. So thank you to the Chefs. Thanks to the all of the bar staff and bar manager Lachlan on the night too, you were fab!

Very different to our previous times. The views are great and its generally busy. They got nice cold beers and a great cocktail list. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly that's all, the food has been dropping over the last few months. We had the pizza and steak sandwich today and sadly they were very average. The pizzas were doughy and the steak was over cooked and tough and the bread was very dry. Go for the views and the drinks but that's all.

Loved the meal as did everyone at our table. Efficient service. Most of our meals arrived within 5 mins which is impressive as the place was packed. They don't allow split billing. They do allow smoking outdoors. Right next to the nonsmoking outdoors area. Glad we were seated inside.

A nice venue but wasn't impressed with the attitude of some of the staff. We went on a lunchtime and they were a bit put out we hadn't booked, which was fair enough if they were busy but they weren't. They then moved us to a corner table as we had babies and prams (again, fair enough) but then seemed to forget about us. The food was enjoyable though, nicely presented, tasty and we all enjoyed our meals - 2 x salads, hot chips and a steak sanga. Bit disappointed they didn't have Guinness, either by the can or on tap.

Surcharging on credit cards is a down right disgrace when this should be factored as part of your cost of goods sold. Overall expensive venue which can do with more affordable pricing given the current state of the state and National economy

Great location, switched on floor Manager Tony but food very average. I ordered Swordfish dish.. Visually very unpleasing plating, fish was dry and stringy due to over cooking. The puree was a blob on the side of the plate with a piece of over cooked cabbage smeared in the puree.. Eww. My friends ordered the pork dish which was crumbed.. Plating was horrible almost like we don't care just get it out. For $41 per dish I expect real great food not average local takeaway standard. The drinks were perfect coz they did not cook it LOL

Great place for an afternoon beer or wine. Relaxed outdoor dining available, with great views overlooking the Swan River, this is a great place to bring guest or visitors from interstate. Keep an eye out for their oyster frenzy night, as they feature unlimited oysters, and it’s a great idea for something different on a Friday night!

Our favorite place to eat...always consistently delicious food. The best chicken parmigiana in perth and you must try the cauliflower salad. Actually everything is great quality. The staff are always friendly and the restaurant has a great ambiance.

We were a group of 5. There was absolutely no service at all during our dinner. We had 2 empty bottles of wine sitting at our table and we had to ask to have them cleared. We had to ask someone to come and take our meal orders. We had to ask for water and the. Water refills during the night. We had to ask to have our plates cleared. The food was very good. We were told we could split the bill at the end of the night but when we went to do that, a big man behind the bar argued with us that we couldn’t do that - all while chewing gum - the manger stepped in and split the bill for us. We have our feedback on our experience and he really couldn’t care less. I will never eat there again.

Well what can I say about this place.... Apart from how good it was! Myself, wife and bub(1yo) went for lunch. The staff was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Service was very quick and spot on. The food was done very well. We had 2 starters, oysters Kilpatrick which was standard but tasty and spicy pork belly bites were fantastic! The best I have had so far. Our mains were just as good. The wife had beef cheeks and I had the burger. Not much to say about these apart from been cooked and served spot on. Great taste and texture. They have a good selection of drinks on offer and the desserts selection was hard to pick from but we managed and was fantastic.

The raffles appears to slowly be going down hill. We went mid week for a meal and a few cocktails to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cocktails were good but we had to find a waitress as we were frequently without drinks. One of our meals wasn't cooked so was sent back, staff were apologetic and the food was replaced. As compensation my wife was given a free dessert which was nice. Still, a disappointing night overall.

A few minor drawbacks which lost it the 5 stars would be the poor view from the beer garden, the apparently fully reserved tables with nobody on them and a dress code which makes it hard for us tradies to pop in for a beer after work without getting a move on notice (albeit a polite one) from staff.
