Had a lovely experience here eating Fried Crickets 🦗 it’s not just their fried bugs that are a hit at the place. Their drinks and food are pretty good as well. Had their beef quesadillas, poutine fries, mozzarella cheese bites and fried crickets. Couldn’t fault on the food. Their mocktails were refreshing and good as well. A nice treat to end the year of 2021. Had another memorable foodie food experience at this place and fitting for NYE. 🙌🏽

My boyfriend and I went for dinner and we were SO impressed with the food, service and overall vibes in the restaurant. We got the chicken burger, aranchini balls to share and the vegan roti wrap. Amazing value for money and yummy flavours. Would definitely recommend this place!

great place. hard to find. it is on the north side of the horse shoe bridge. just next to road on the ground floor. past shy John's. well worth finding. food was great. alcohol was reasonable for Perth prices. I put in a picture of present drink prices.

Good but not good enough to come back. It all looks vibrant and the flavours sound exciting but it all falls short of expectations. The charred corn had a nice flavour but was dry and needed some butter or sauce, the loaded waffle chips were crunchy but a bit bland and stodgy in the mouthand the satay burger seemed a confusion of flavours. The tables are very small especially when you're trying to share platters and you run out of table space and elbow room. The live music was nice but very loud. We had to shout over one another for conversation. My recommendations would be the calamari, turmeric potato balls and Arancini. The Jerk chicken was pretty generous in size and smoky. Our waitress Nina was delightful and the service from the rest of the staff was also lovely.

Awesome service and really amazing food, tried the pork belly donuts and wasn't disappointed. The spicy chicken salad was a great size for the price and the pulled pork sliders had a great flavour balance.

A pretty hot day in Perth and I was dehydrated.... seeing stars.... 5 stars for a $5 pint of lager.... in Yagan Square. Could not resist calling in for a cold one and was not dissappointed. It went from quiet to full in an instant. Highly recommended. Just ask for Rusty.

Great little spot that gets busy early and seems to be very popular and I can see why. $5 for a pint of beer and great food at reasonable prices. This place defies the odds!: It offers something that shouldn't be possible. Amazing service, great food and all at a decent price. We have been there a couple of times, and as selfish as it sounds...we didn't want to spread the word on how good it was as not to ruin it for future visits being too busy. But you have to give credit where it is due! Even when crazy busy the food and service has always been spot on. I forget the guy of the name servicing us (ginger hair and beard - always happy) , dude was a legend! Always friendly, polite - knew when to get in to see how everything was going and knew when to leave us be. Could of over sold us as my friends and eye tend to have eyes bigger than our belly's, but gave great recommendations! Can not give this place and the service we received more credit, we honestly couldn't fault a single thing!

Nice spot. Service was quick. Staff were friendly. The buttermilk fried chicken burger with optional hot sauce, slaw, ranch & pickles was delicious with a great balance of flavours and it came with plenty of chips. The "street drinks" were very refreshing after exploring Perth on a summer day. Lots of good beers on tap. Appetisers were really good too, especially the truffle ball thingies. Only letdown was the chicken tacos which were a bit bland and could do with a little more oomph.

Headed here several times now to meet friends for a drink and a really well priced one at that! $5 pints and a great selection of other very good valued drinks including brews on tap, cocktails and even mocktails. It's a bit hard to come across a bar with more than soft drink & coffee for non-drinkers and these guys have delivered so thanks!!! They change with the season, winter you will find drinks to warm you up with added spice and now the weather is warming, a more refreshing choice. All very creative. It's tucked away below the Horseshoe Bridge, in the heart of Yagan Square, small but a great place for predrinks/after work drinks. Can't say anything about the food, other than the menu looks very inventive. Thumbs up for good value!

This bar is a great spot tucked away from the rest of Yagan square where you can get $5 pints and some well priced pub grub. It can get a bit busy at the bar due to the small size but nice to have a place you can afford to go out to, there is usually a performer on in the afternoon/evening with a guitar which is nice.

This area of town has really grown up and Street Eats is evidence. We had a solid selection of food and drinks here and it was all solid servings of really great food. The only complaint was the wine was served far too warm to the point of being able to smell the alcohol but it was a very hot day. Honestly you could split most of the large plates between two.

Pretty disappointed with the food I got. The calamari says "With salad, tomato salsa and bacon". That actually translated too, a couple of rocket leaves, microscopic tomato squares and even smaller bacon pieces. I understand it might have been a starter dish, but wasn't what was advertised. You get the other stars though because Red Stripe on tap was a blessing.

This majestic place of taste bud heaven is a little hidden gem in Yagan square. My wife found this place in the entertainment book and it sounded like it was down our alley. You can get main meals here but we decided to get a few appetisers and go tapas style just to try a few things out, as everything looked delicious. My wife’s favourite was the beef brisket tacos which were amazing but I couldn’t go past the pork belly doughnuts. These have got to be one of the best tasting things I have ever had. I could go on, but I will let you find out how great this place is for yourselves. I will definitely be coming back here and have already recommended this place to my friends. Keep up the good work guys!

The street food concept is unique to Perth and the food overall is very good. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and presented well. Below are a few suggestions for the owner to consider: The paella was made with short grain (jasmine or other) rice instead of the correct Spanish (round, sticky) rice. After sitting for an hour the seats became uncomfortable. Consider placing pillow or padding on the seats. A nice addition would be using international music/songs from the countries of each dish on the menu. The night we went to the restaurant there was Jamaican, Brazilian and Thai food available. It would have been nice to listen to reggae or Portuguese language jazz, traditional Thai music or the like. Otherwise the experience at Street Eats was overall very good. 4 stars

Had the vegan dish and pork salad. Vegan dish described as a roti but was just a soft flour wrap - not flaky, crispy roti. Neither were very good as pork salad was a bowl of coleslaw with some pork mixed in. Eateries should disclose when they advertise avocado in a salad but actually serve the weird processed, tubed avocado mousse that you can get at Coles. Sweet potato fries were good. Perhaps a better place for a drink before heading to eat somewhere else. Drinks are reasonably priced starting with $5 pints.

Gorgeous restaurant! Really good location. Food was good. Presentation really good. The New York hotdogs were good and the zucchini fritters. Beef tacos were disappointing as were the cocktails. Very friendly efficient service and good prices

Pleasant and promising, but there is room for improvement. Spicy chicken burger was generally a good burger, but not spicy. And a bit difficult to hold together. The waffle chips were a great side, a very inspired choice. Fish Koftha was full of flavour and cooked just right - a great dish. Takoyaki tasted right but was a bit small and didn't seem to contain any chunks of octopus. Singapore Sling had too much pineapple juice, and I suggest they should stir it before bringing it to the table. On the plus side, their drinks menu is good, their food menu is varied and has a great theme, and there was live music on the night we came. Lots of alfresco tables, and the venue is slightly tucked-away so as to give an impression of privacy. Wasn't busy. Hoping they can drum up some more business and make a few improvements, because I love the theme and I think it shows a lot of promise.
