Comments of The Flour Factory

We went there to celebrate birthday and chose the gin gala dinner. Everything was perfect and loved that we had one craft gin per dish. The variety and combination was awesome. The lamb was the best I've had!. Really worth the $85pp. You get 4 different craft gins and to accompany each of rhe 4 dishes.

Had some great gin related shenanigans on a Wednesday night. The gracious Bonnie was kind enough to be serving us that night and had excellent knowledge of gins and served up some fantastic combos. My thanks goes to Bonnie for making the night grand.
Absolutely love this place. Will become my new regular. Staff are great and very friendly, the range of gins is huge and the atmosphere is excellent. See you all next Wednesday!

An enjoyable Atmosphere for dining, If you should plan on a group catch up for a delicious cocktails, the Flour Factory would be right up that ally! However, we opted for dinner date night and found that it was a bit too ‘Noisy’ for our preference and did not stay long, still an enjoyable experience though. It was most pleasing that The Lychee Gin cocktail we had and our meals (gnocchi, potatoes with blood orange & the asparagus) were delicious, each dish was cooked to perfection.

We went to a gin masterclass hosted by Issac.
Issac was knowledgeable and very friendly, for the cost per ticket its definitely worth checking it out, you get a welcome drink and three tasters plus food at the end.
K. R.
lively place for a gin. between 5pm-6pm there is a $10 gin special which is delicious. plenty of seating but you may have to share a table with others.

The Flour Factory has a great atmosphere.
The drinks are a little pricey but it worth it for a occasional outing.
The venue it self looks great and the deco is lovely.
This is a great place for a party and the get together.
The food is equally lovely and taste great.
I have been here a few time and each time has been an experience.
On a Friday they have a DJ and again it is packed with people after work.

We enjoyed an intimate little after work shin-dig up in The Sherry Rooftop Bar, above the main Flour Factory restaurant/bar area and we were very pleased with the outcome. The staff were kind and accommodating, and gave us great details about each dish served. The food and drinks were superb. Highly recommend The Sherry for small functions and get-togethers.
S. Z.
Nice cocktails and friendly service. I liked the lamb ribs I had.
A. R.
Prebooked and order the chef’s selection chartreuse platters for 10 people. The food was AMAZING and beyond exceeded our expectations. The staff were very attentive to us. The drinks were delicious. We had a fabulous evening. Thank you so much
J. D.
Harcourts Initiative had their EOFY lunch at The Flour Factory and it was fantastic! The food was amazing, staff were great, ambience in the place was stunning. Gin spin was the must-do which we did! Highly recommend! ❤👌
L. O.
That lamb is no joke the best thing i have ever eaten. I am having withdrawals. Top dish. Top chef. I will be back in a heart beat 👍🏼❤️
J. S.
Great drinks. Espresso Martini was excellent, as was the gin selection. The Roku Gin cocktail was awesome. Bread and dip(s) was a bit disappointing. Great vibe though, with lots of people!

Walk pass this place a few times and have been meaning to try this place. We decided to go on a Thrusday, which was my BF and I pay day. We were greeted with a friendly smile and lovely service with the drinks to the ordering.
We ordered the 'Lamb Ribs' & 'Smoked Chicken. The Lamb ribs, was superb, had that light bounce in the meat. The flavours burst of slight sweetness from the honey, zen and the freshness from the mint. Nothing I've tried.
However not understanding tho, how come we were give 5 an odd number of pieces, is it to make someone feel that one person loved it more than the other or marketing to order another plate. Tapas is sharing right!
I wait awhile for the 'Smoked Chicken' maybe 20 mins, at the time after my BF finished his. I saw, a staff coming and asked if my meal was coming out shortly, she had went down stairs and come out with it. Making me wonder that the lady who had taken our order, suddenly forgot about us even though we were the only ones, in the restaurant area at the time.
The chicken was moist, had the crunch of the vegetables but salty from the pancetta for my liking. I initially thought the place was a Restaurant serving main substantial meals. Until, it came to paying time.
It was a chef who had finalised our payment, she never asked us 'our was the meal?' (Guess she will have to read this) Just repeated the order and told us the total bill and whether we wanted to split the bill.
I told her that we had waited awhile for the 'Smoked Chicken' when he had finished his meal. Her response was this is a tapas serving, that's when it clicked. For a tapas at least 2 dishes should come out at the same time. And being tapas, why are the prices a similar of a main dish.
With the lamb ribs what' the reason for serving an odd piece of five (5) ribs. Isn't tapas about sharing. I'm not understanding it, is it a marketing strategy so can order another plate or .....
Overall, the flavour is what got the 3 stars and the appearance of the venue, however customer service didn't follow through at the end. Could do some improvement on this side. The price, isn't worthy it plus the service. I wouldn't be returning.

I just had my birthday drinks at Flour Factory on Saturday night and had a fantastic time! The service was amazing, very attentive and respectful - from when I enquired to book a space to the food and care from the wait staff. Another group next to us had mistakenly taken my friends jacket and phone to another venue and Flour Factory went above and beyond to contact that group in the following days and tracked down the phone. I was very impressed by the venue, food and staff service, 5 stars for all!

Stumbled upon this place when I was within Northbridge area. Ordered the 'Feed me' course, which was $55 each and was presented a selection of dishes pre-selected by chef.
For starters, we had house bread with lemon myrtle butter which was amazing, with spice almonds and pumpkin puree. Next up was sticky lamb ribs, which just cooked to perfection and slide off the bone, accompanied with green beans, fish with leek and roasted potatoes. By then, we were stuffed but how can a set menu not end with dessert. The hazelnut tart was a perfect touch with not being overly sweet and came with gin infused cream as 'snow flake' on the top. I couldn't fault on any of the dishes as everything was delicious and had an interesting twist to it. Such as serving with gin infused mayo or cumin with dukkah was caramelised with the almonds. If you come here, I highly recommend you to order the Feed Me set. Totally worth it! Also don't forget to try one of their 300 gins!
L. L.
Had such a great time. Imogen was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. So friendly and such fast service! Definitely be back!
A. K.
The venue is big and loud but if you want to taste great cocktails based on gin, that's the place! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very original way with the 12 dollar rulet for gin cocktail. Probably won't go there for the first day dinner but first date cocktail evening - yes!
M. K.
Gin, check. Cocktail experts at the bar, check. Great food, check. Mystery wheel with 24 gins, check. If you want a night out in Perth, make it a gin-tastic experience at the Flour Factory.
K. S.
Popular venue in Queen St Perth. Many areas to catch up with friends or a date. Havent eaten here yet. Would recommend booking a table as we almost didnt get one.
J. O.
Awesome bartenders who make an amazing cocktail, and know so much about gin - the team there helped me figure out my own flavour profile and helped me find gins i really like!
C. T.
Great service from the staff, and the food was mostly fantastic. The desserts let it down though which was a shame. Definitely worth a trip though for a nice meal and good drink options.
C. S.
The atmosphere is pretty chill; great drinks overall. Staff are pretty knowledgeable and experienced. (The Gin wheel's pretty fun; absolutely must try if one wants to try out new drinks)
S. A.
Great place lots of space for standing and plenty of seating areas serves great food does private functions to caters all not to pricey and has security at the doors
j. j.
The flour factory is a bit of a busy place even with all the restrictions in place so it does take time to get a drink. However, its worth the wait if you're going for a cocktail. I had the cherry blossom which I highly recommend if you like your sweeter cocktails or the passionfruit julep for a stronger finish.
Friendly staff and good atmosphere, the only thing I would have to pick on would be the staff not wiping down the tables before new people sit at them. Other thank that, it should be a go to spot 😊
G. R.
The gin wheel is good fun, and having the garnishes catered to the style of gin adds to the experience
S. S.
the Gin Tree and the Feast
great way to spend a lazy Wednesday lunch
service was first class and food was amazing especially the deserts
J.
Good atmosphere. Hidden away but still enough traffic to people watch out the window. Lots of drinks available. Bar staff friendly. Yummy food
J. W.
Drinks and meals were good quality. The acoustics in the upstairs function room could be improved with some sound deadening panels.
B. J. B. G.
This place has delicious cocktails and appetisers. Try the mushroom tart. However too smaller space for those who are not a petite size 6 frame anymore, hard to get into the chairs with so many people next to your table.
D. H.
Gin, Gin and mire gin! From all over the world. Restaurant food is also very good. A great bar to meet up with friends.
D. H.
Nice venue with lots of gin options.
S. L.
Went on a Monday night, it was a bit more quiet but it was still a great atmosphere here. Make sure you try out the gin wheel, $12 for a gin drink made based on where the wheel lands. Cool novelty and the drink was nice
P. K.
There are two options, the social crowed on the left which includes a bar menu and then the high quality small ‘The Sherry’ restaurant on the right. I’m on the right tonight with the crispy pork belly, a waitress who knows her wines and a professional hospitality crew who treat their customers with a fine dinning service. wow! There is a bit of noise so not ideal on a Saturday night for a romantic dinner unless you want to say dirty things to each other, because no one else will hear. Great venue, great service, great food, great wine! Perth has changed.
A. M.
Very Good Environment , very friendly staff and Prices are good as well !! Has a kind of a modern Bar vibe to it !! We really enjoyed the Gin Wheel !!
T. H.
Enjoyed a delicious meal and excellent selection of Gins for their New Years Eve Ginner.
K. G.
What a wonderful lunch! Great food, amazing drinks and fabulous service. We were so well looked after and had a great experience. Look forward to coming back. Lamb ribs were 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
A. T.
The Lamb Ramp was good and tender. Decently price.
I believed their Lamb Shoulder dish would be great too, however, you would need a min of 4 person to qualify for their "Feed Me" menu requirements, before you can order the lamb shoulder...
S. B.
We had our wedding here in April and it couldn't have gone any better! We spent 12 months preparing and liaising with the wedding coordinator Kahla Pratt who was absolutely fantastic to deal with, from day 1 until the wedding night finished - they have a great wedding booklet which explains everything so easily and anything can be tailored to your needs.
All the staff were great, headed by venue manager Simon Hough.
We had fantastic feedback from all the guests! Some of the best wedding food they have ever had.
Thanks Flour Factory - if you are unsure of a wedding venue, give the Flour Factory a look.
A. H.
We were at the bar level on a weekday evening and it was great. The acoustics there are super because we didn’t have to shout to be heard. We received excellent service with genuine smiles and drinks were good. Will definitely go back.
T. J.
Very rustic, looking venue. Looked like a great function area. I was just dropping in as my daughter was dropping off a birthday cake she had made for her friends 21st birthday party that was due to be held in the evening at this venue. Downstairs bar/ dining area looked like a comfortable and cosy looking area. Was starting to look busy for a late Saturday afternoon.
R. T.
Nice chill out place. Pretty decent food. Nice gin collection for sure.
L. F.
Booking not quite handled right and dishes mixed up on a busy night. Nice bar/bistro though. A bit pricey given offerings.
D. E.
My partner booked us a table at The Flour Factory for my birthday, and I thought it was fantastic. We ordered the Flour Feast and were really impressed by the quality of the food and the number of dishes brought out for the price. We started with a small plate of ciabatta bread, olives and nuts then soon after two entrees came out, three delicious mains and two incredible desserts. All of these dishes were shared and perfectly met our dietary requirements. We thoroughly enjoyed the combination of flavours in all of the dishes, our waitress was very attentive and gave us plenty of opportunity to order drinks - we had the jinzu gin, ford gin and tried the watermelon sugar high and they were great (the latter was a bit too sweet for me though). I will note we were there on a Thursday night so it’s likely on a busier night it may be a different experience but I would definitely go back :)
D. M. (.
Fantastic Service. Great food. Additionally, great function space upstairs.
V. A.
We were a group of co-workers willing to have a good time on our Christmas Dinner!
We went for the set menu and I can tell that I don’t regret it!
Dishes were seasonal and really yummy!
The beef dish was to “die for” and dessert wrapped up the night exactly the way it should!
Strongly recommend this place!
A. W.
Went to an event upstairs
Service, food and drinks amazing,!!
Would recommend
D. C.
If you love gin or are interested in getting to love gin then this is the bar for you! Hidden down a side alley, this bar has more gin than you can dream of. Not a fan of gin, they have all the favourites on tap!
M. C.
We didn't get there in time for food as we dined elsewhere this particular night - thoroughly enjoyed their cocktail list - would have preferred their margarita with a salted rim - but oh well - such is life - was still pretty good
T. Y.
Great gin selection ❤️ and lots of seating places too
A. M.
Great service, extensive gin and tonic options, tasty tapas dishes, and a beautiful space.
A. B.
Great experience, location and drinks on offer.
I went with my friends on the 25th of November for some drinks and nibbles. The cocktail list looks incredible and the best thing are the Gin trees. I will definetly go back to try more from the beverage list.
The only disappointment is the very limited food menu. I would not be satisfied if I had been there for a sit down dinner.
T. J.
Great bar but the bartenders made the experience better. Izaac had excellent knowledge of gins and great service style.
E. L.
We had a great experience at The Flour Factory, wait and bar staff were super friendly. Food was magnificent and the gin tree was superb. Thanks for an excellent night. We will be back.
K. W.
This is the second time I've visited this establishment. First time was with a group of girlfriends and we was in awe of the extensive gin list. We sat at the bar and the staff all so friendly. The only downside was it was so noisy and no music. Last weekend my friend and another couple tried this place out to dine. We ordered the chefs selection $50 pp. This is a sharing starter, main and dessert. Honestly, the quantity of food is small (especially the dessert) but the quality was superior. We all loved our food but the cherry on top was the nice guy who was our drinks waiter. He would ask us what our taste was and then bring a gin based on what we told him with a full explanation of what he put in and why. Will definitely be back for more drinks.
R.
Food was delicious but the service was lacking where staff could be a lot friendlier and more attentive. We sat in the restaurant part and it was very warm and when we asked if the air con could be put on we were told it was on but with the windows open at the front this is just how it is. Not sure how that will go with more 40 degree days in summer!
R. D.
Loved spinning the wheel and trying different guns that I haven't tried before. The staff were also very knowledgeable about each gin
S.
Food was sensational with taste, quality and presentation. Shame the chefs don't get presented justly by the wait staff! :(
After we finished our meals we waited and waited for someone to clear our table and so we could order dessert. Mind you, this was a Thursday night and the place was not busy what so ever!
We had waited so long after we finished our meals that the oils on the plates became jelly :\
We ended up just leaving and paying without tasting any of the dessert :( such a shame! I think because our original wait person had finishes their shift and perhaps forgot to hand our table over to someone else.

If you want to learn more about Gin- definitely ask behind the bar for Rhianna!!!( she also runs masterclasses, which I hope to attend soon) An amazing wealth of information with a nose and taste for the perfect combination. We took friends there for their first time last night. They loved it!!- the bar area is very noisy ( hard to hear the Rhianna’s recommendations ). One disappointment was the wheel spin- 6 bottles of each of 3 the bog standard gins on offer.- But still love the place!!
S. S.
Imogen served us!
She was the kindest waiter ❤️ excellent customer service. My friends and I loved her energy. Imogen was very helpful and went above and beyond with our requests.
The food was incredible! Definitely coming back here
T. M.
We’ve been here twice now
As a four and as a large group both times for dinner /drinks.
Firstly - it’s very loud! Seriously you have to shout to have a conversation
The food has been great both times and staff were good and attentive!
Gin menu obviously is spectacular
The top tables near the bar are..... very near the bar, so when it fills up it’s a little difficult.
So overall I’d recommend a visit but it won’t be very regular for us !
B. D. R.
Great service large venue with more to explore next time
A. B.
Gin tree okay... drinks could have a little more gin a lot less ice
Food not to bad... should have more of a selection
Dessert terrible.... cheescake tasted like a block of cheese on a plate... pavlova smelt like a dirty fridge!
Setup was great lovely deco and nice staff.
G. v. D.
Never been to this bar before. I did notice that bar service is a bit slow but also noticed that this was because the bar service team were delivering quality and focused service.
I will definitely revisit purely because the bar dudettes and dudes were really engaging.
Kudos to you guys and please pass on my apologies to the poor girl behind the bar that had to deal with my vodka request!
For anyone else reading this give this venue a go at it is pretty groovy!
Edit: Google didn't ping me for a review. I liked the venue so much I found them again on Google! 🐱
S. P.
Highly recommend The flour factory, we had a fantastic mothers day High G&T Luncheon with excellent service and amazing food and drnks. I will be coming back for sure. Thank you keeKirsten - 0423 460 924p up the good work.
L. M.
Such a great place. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, as was the service. Friendly, fast and nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to go back.
M. S. C.
It has a great atmosphere. The decor was rustic but nice. The roof had a sea of colours and butterflies. There is heaps of parking options around. Easy to use a pd carpark, but not cheap. Small decor negative - No pictures of how it "use to be". That would be really interesting.
J. S.
Great venue, has high potential but they struggle to get the flow right. We had to get up to get our own water and remind waiters of our drinks we ordered over 10min ago. Food is nice, just needs to come out more consistently. Would recommend a pre dinner gin here but not dinner.
H. A.
Really enjoyed the Ginner and the service was great, but can't really give 5 stars when the vegetarian main course of the set meal was 'here's the same food as your meat eating friends, but you just eat the potatoes and veg'. I thought we'd returned to the 1970s! Disappointing from people who actually know how to cook very well.
B. B.
Great venue, delicious drinks, awesome atmosphere!
A. B.
I had a work function there and the food was exceptional. Glazed pork belly bites and beef brisket sliders were the highlights for me.
N. S.
Staff were very helpful , knowledgeable about drinks and foods and friendly and atmosphere was great!loved the setting and lighting, kudos to the interior designer of the space... felt nice and fancy but relaxed as well.Loved every second and would go back!
T. S.
Recently had a birthday event there and organisation was incredible! Staff were so friendly and accomodating, drinks were fantastic and the atmosphere was great. I could not recommend The Flour Factory enough. Thank you!
O. E.
Really neat space, massive selection of gin if that's what you're into, didn't eat the food but it looked nice, knowledgeable bar staff. The gin wheel is a fun way to try a bunch of a different types of gin, and is pretty fairly priced.
J. M.
Cool funky place great selections of gin. Please note though there is no rooftop bar its only for functions
R. W.
The bar is massive, catering for upto 50 - 100 people and at peak time is a bit noisy with a vibrant atmosphere. This did not detract from having a superb dinner adjacent to the bar. The restaurant ticks all the boxes of attentive friendly service, fantastic food and beverages and a great vibe. We will certainly be heading back. The location is also very convenient for bus or train travellers.
A. L.
Great inner city chic bar serving boutique gin & craft beer.
A. B.
Nice bar, really good selection of gin.
A. M.
A gin offering too big to mention. They have a wheel you can spin in the event you just cannot decide for yourself. Sadly the 24 selections the wheel will make only addresses about a third of their offering. And that's without any thought to how you might drink your gin. Food is good, service is OK. Not the best for large groups - tables of 4-6 would be best.
N. W.
Visited on Friday 18/01/19 – This review covers both Food and Gin.
Gin – Wheel of gin GREAT IDEA gins on there are good and well-priced. Some worth the money some may feel like it’s not. However, that is the game and would suggest everyone to play.
The gin menu is delightful and will be returning for more.
Food – Four of us had the $55 per person chiefs pick. (Requested not seafood).
Starter; Bread and Meat tasting tray.
Main; Leg of Lamb.
Desert; Honey Cake.
Food was lovely and worth a second trip. Will suggest this place to other people.
Staff were lovely and knew a lot about the drinks they were making and happy to talk about them with customers.
K. B.
Great place! Great selection of beers, lovely staff and atmosphere. In a great location
J. K.
Amazing vibes at the Flour Factory and a great place for dinner and drinks. We chose the feed me option to take the choice out of the dinner which turned out to be similarly priced to choosing ourselves.
The staff were welcoming and friendly and helped us through the menu and explained the share food style of dining.
If you get lost in the gin list they offer two gin wheels to spin for a choice of paired gin and tonics - one premium and one normal. We had some great gins from the wheel.
All in all a great place to go whether you know what you want or not - great options and delicious food.
B. C.
Love this place, great people and great vibe! Would highly recommend to all Gin lovers especially spin the wheel, every time I go to the city I always visit the flour factory.
A. L.
Great foods, great cocktails and fun ambiance. We really enjoyed our dinner here. Staffs were nice
E. S.
We ate here on the last day of the phase 2 shutdown so had the 3 course pre-set meal and it was delicious! Staff were friendly and helpful, food was filling and tasty and well worth the $70 each. Will definitely be back!
P. G.
Great place for gin cocktails. The bartender was super friendly and made great suggestions to everyone. And if you are not a gin connoisseur they have a fun spinning wheel for $10 fun and tonics. That was definitely a hit! They even had beers on tap and plenty of space to sit. If you where hungry there was even a restaurant within the same building!
L. T.
The $60/p chefs choice for 4 is recommended here.
Great value & delicious.
Starters - stracciatella mozzarella cheese with nectarine, pickled onion & fresh basil, ham croquettes, gin swordfish ceviche
2 generous serves of meaty lamb shanks, 2 generous serves of very moreish maple crispy baked potatos. 2 serves heirloom baked carrots.
If I can give you a tip....avoid filling up on th sour dough toast with goats cheese & caramelised onion or cultured butter, as the serves are also generous, or you'll find it a challenge to eat the rest.
The 'gin tree' for 4 (pictured) holds 9 glasses of 3 different mixed ang garnished gin cocktails. Looks great tasted good too.
A. B.
It's hit or miss whether the bartender you get will know a crazy lot about gin, or have to ask his or her colleague when they aren't busy, but you can't go too wrong with the whopping list they've got. Sometimes I wish this place was less popular so staff had more time to advice you on what cool new gin you might actually like. Food here is amazing. Cute little festoon lights everywhere. Do it.
B. D. B.
Have visited The Flour Factory twice now, both for dinner and a Gin Masterclass. They have been exceptional experiences and I hope to have many more here. If you're looking for fine dining food and a broad and comprehensive gin selection in a quaint, modern atmosphere with excellent service. The Flour Factory is definitely the place to be.
S. R.
Excellent venue! Perfect location for the trains, buses, hotels and more. I was in a private function at the top and the staff were brilliant as was the food and drunks. Nice and warm, toilets were pretty decent (too small maybe). Will go back again happily if invited again.
A. M.
If Gin is your drink of choice this place is amazing
P. C.
Just bloody lovely. We had a charming waitress who knew her stuff and we ordered the Can't Decide and Gin Wheel (amazing food, amazing drinks). There was a misunderstanding on one drink order and the waitress very kindly offered to discount the bill. We declined her offer but it really showed how much they care about making the customers happy. Love it.
J. K.
Great gin selection, get yourself a gin tree
N. F.
Nice venue for food and drinks. Great gin options. Serving some tasty food - I especially enjoyed the duck fat potatoes and leg of lamb. I came here recently for a group dinner and enjoyed the food. The letdown was dessert - a gin jelly and cream was served in a small glass, which was designed to share between two. This wasn't a gathering of couples, so was a very strange and awkward dish to serve.
B. V.
The food here is FANTASTIC. The meat pizza we had tasted like American hot dogs!Cocktails were excellent, too. LOTS of spirits to choose from. Unfortunately, when we arrived (at 5pm on a weeknight) we were pretty much ignored by the staff on shift, even though the place wasn't busy. However, there must have been a shift change while we were there, because later on we were served by a very personable, friendly lady who offered us water and more drinks, and really made us feel comfortable. Their air con doesn't do well on hot days, but if it's not too hot, it would be a great place for after work drinks or to start your night out!
J. H.
Food was amazing!!! Staff we so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! The chef's here are first class. However it was really noisy and hard to hear each other talk, apparently because of a wedding upstair the restaurant seating had been moved to downstairs where it was noisy. I'll go back again to see if sitting up stairs helps with noise. The food and service was so good!
R. L.
Absolutely bloody fantastic. Food is out of this world good. I recommend also the watermelon sugar high cocktail.
H. S.
Great vibe, friendly service and creative food/cocktail options. My husband and I came here for our first anniversary and love coming back.
N. S. (. F.
Staff are really nice and the food was great, only had beer on tap but apparently the cocktails are good from what I heard from others. Really nice venue for special occasions
C.
I didn't think I could like gin any more than I already do, and yet here we are. After 30 minutes of waiting in line, another 30 minutes of watching the bartender light a cinnamon stick on fire and garnish my gin and tonic with microflowers and wild harvested hand crushed herbs (herbs with a silent 'h'), I finally was able to relish the taste of Unicorn Tears. At $30 a pop it did - to be fair - actually taste like a mythical creature had freshly died from depression. I tried to leave but I found myself stuck to the sticky floor, and barricaded by Jill from accounts and McSleezy from sales. They convinced me to take a punt at the wheel of gin-fortune and so partake I did, much to my detriment the next morning... No wonder people died of gin poisoning back in 1751. Such a great bar. God bless you, Flour Factory.
T. A.
Great vibe and atmosphere. Food was really good and the $50pp share meals were very generous in portions - plenty of food. Wait staff very friendly and helpful. Only issue was we didn't really our 6.15pm booking was a first sitting and we got kicked out/moved on just after 8pm to get ready for the next sitting. Hadn't realised in advance that was the case when we made our booking.
S. S.
Arrived here for a private function. Casually entertained ourselves for about half hour.
Beautiful room and greeted by excellent ''"wait'''' staff . Pre dinner drinks in abundance...
Throughout the evening we were so well taken care of.. three course meal absolutely delightful... and the music made the patrons speak so highly of what was presented to us...
I would definitely return to this venue...
C. P.
The drinks were fine. The gin wheel is a fun idea. The taste plate wasn't great, small servings and some weird sauce on the olives, so we decided not to order anymore food.
R. T.
Dining - You can't go past the value for this level of offering
HIGHLY! Highly recommended
If you are adventurous do yourself a favour & leave it up to the Chef
Excellent value, plenty of food & outstanding tastes.
I had at least 3 dishes I would never have chosen myself but thoroughly enjoyed. They really know balances, savoury sweet sour soft crunch... yum
Just know the BAR is a bit loud but not overpowering in the dining area even downstairs.
Great well timed service & the hosty is very accommodating to any needs.
Would & probably will return without hesitation
K. W.
The food was great, the service was great and the place is gorgeous. An excellent night out.
N. D.
The flour factory is back at the level we expect of them! Last visit (pre covid) was marred by some poor service but they've returned to great service by knowledgeable, attentive and interested staff who are their to make the experience an experience!
We had the fixed menu and it was fantastic. Thejus with the lamb shanks was the best sauce /jus taste we've ever had.
It's a unique bar, none of that sports bar style that blights so many others.
S. M.
Expensive and busy, but great food and atmosphere.
D. C.
The gin wheel is a fun way to sample drinks that you might not normally try otherwise.
W. C.
Nice food, nice environment and nice staff!!! Will definitely come back. I had the best pork cutlet here 😄
C. B.
Great atmosphere, love the gin spinning wheel! New deals every so often that offer premium gins, depending on where the wheel lands. How fun!
P.
Food is amazing! very accommodating and doting staff. Atmosphere at the bar and adjacent seating is lively & social but still comfortable - a bit loud for D&Ms - but there's more intimate duet table seating on the other side. Bonus, it's a tenna to spin the gin wheel for a gin concoction to finish your night 👌
E. A.
The Gin bar for Gin lovers. Amazing service, but, add Rhiannon and you get next level service, great knowledge and that little bit of something special. The Mulberry and the Saffron gin combinations were amazing, but the pink gin with fresh orange, basil and chilli was out of this world. Thanks Rhiannon 💞
L. M.
Such a great vibe! We went on a Friday night. Service was great. Food was good, octopus a little over cooked and cauliflower a little bland. Beetroot salad was great as were the potatoes and almonds. These guys did a good job catering to gf df dietary requirements for mains and a special made dessert. Great non-alcoholic drinks by Seedlip. The only disappointing thing was that my drink was served with a plastic straw! Please stop serving drinks with straws or change to a more sustainable option. Thanks!
H. D.
Food was amazing, staff were lovely, great atmosphere, we ordered chefs choice, but the food wasnt enough, 6 asparagus, 10 duck potatoes, 2 small slices pieces of cheesecake and 1 small slice of browie, there was 5 adults, food was delicious just not enough, we ended up finding somewhere else to eat after we left. Such a shame, we spent $250, not including drinks. I have never had a chefs choice menu and ever walked out still hungry.
N. D.
We had our wedding at The Flour Factory in April 2018. We met with Kahla a long time before the wedding - she talked us through options, arranged food tastings, wine tastings, how we wanted the place to look, etc. etc. and then on the day itself she made sure everything went like clockwork - she was absolutely brilliant!
As for the venue itself - it is stunning!! The weddings are held on the top floor above the gin bar downstairs (if you're concerned about noise, don't be, we didn't even notice it during the speeches) - we had long tables and festoon lighting and the place looked amazing. We had share feast style dinner and about 90 guests in total (which was very comfortable, but you could fit more). The food was among the best I've ever had at a wedding and mates were raving about it in the days after. All in all, I can't recommend highly enough - the venue, the food, the drink options available, and the ease of dealing with Kahla. Everything was top notch!!
L. C.
Really good food, great vibe, they have a gin wheel so for any gin lovers out there you will be in heaven!!!! Laid back, great for Friday night drinks. Staff are friendly, good comes out fast. Just a cruizy good little place to sink a few and have a feed!
P. B.
Possibly the best bar for gin in Perth. There must be over a hundred different gins available - and a range if differemt tonics too. The staff are friendly and are very knowledgeable about all of the gins and how best to serve each one. The "spin the wheel" lucky dip gin choice is a good way to try different gins and takes the decision making away.

Thought it was time to write a review on The Flour Factory. We have provided Entertainment there for many years now. We have found this venue to be absolutely awesome whenever we have DJ'd a Wedding or Corporate event upstairs! It's always such a nice experience, as the staff, food and setting are superb!
N. L.
Yhe most delicious food & fabulous cocktails definitely will be going back, great for functions too!
M. R.
Great place, classy interior and the gin wheel is a hoot. Food quite nice but can be very loud inside...not a great choice for a meaningful conversation across the table but great service and awesome drinks menu...can't wait to try the gin masterclass.
F. B.
Went here for a day conference. The food and service was very good and the venue is very trendy. Only complaints would be the tables are too large relative to the event space, making it hard to move through, also adding blinds onto the large windows so the evening sun doesn't blind people.
A. P.
I never thought a gin and tonic could be so good! I definitely recommend partaking in the spinning wheel - for $10 you get a spin on a prize wheel and each number corresponds to a different, high quality gin. The bar staff will then make a gin and tonic, with each number having it's own twist to best compliment the gin's bouquet. So many interesting combinations!
B. M.
Great cocktails and knowledgeable staff, plus the dress ups for Halloween were great. Good late night bar for warmup or closeout drinks.
G. W.
Cute little place, friendly staff, can be busy and noisy, but upstairs was closed for a function. Definitely recommend for an afternoon drink and catch up.
J. M.
**WEDDING REVIEW**
The Flour Factory you have blown me away with your service! From start to finish nothing was ever too much trouble. My night was everything i had ever dreamed of plus some. I cannot even put into words just how happy i am with absolutely everything TFF offered. Best packages, food, drinks and service. If i could do it all again, i would not change a thing.
B. E.
Phenomenal service. Staff have outstanding knowledge and are very accommodating. Will be going back many more times to taste the rest of the gins.
R. P.
Recommend the chef's choice menu. Lots of tasty food. Service great too. Bar can be noisy up until about 7pm but not too much of a problem. Quieter later.
M. B.
Wow! What a great place. Attended a conference function upstairs. Staff and food worked really well.
The only downfall is that it's built like a barn so noise is extremely LOUD!!! Group of 200-300 people and noise level was 90 dB. Needs noise limited through wall furniture and the ceiling.
J. v. M.
We sat down for an early dinner and were not disappointed at the quality. We ordered some pizzas and their in-house gourmet hot dogs which were delicious. The dogs themselves were made from an anise (which I love) and the sweet bread buns were great too! Oh, and they make a mean Tom Collins to boot!!
E. D.
A little underwhelming I suppose. Spun the wheel but wasn't too impressed with the gin choices - have definitely had better.
N. D.
First time at the Flour Factory last Thursday evening and I will be back - great industrial heritage type décor with a modern makeover. I had some networking drinks in the intimate bar on the entry level and enjoyed the service and atmosphere. Will be back to try the upstairs restaurant. Maybe will have a whisky in the sister bar - Varnish at 75 King Street as well. Poked my head in at this cellar bar on the way home from the Flour Factory. It looked great and popular for 7 pm on Thursday night which says something.
For those who have not been along Murray Street in the evening get there - this are now rocks with good eateries and bars everywhere
D. B.
Great staff with so much knowledge, great space great vibes
S. T.
Great ambiance with its lime mortar walls, pressed metal ceilings natural wooden bar with its cube block base, large hanging dome lamps and reclaimed timber flooring.
I ordered hotdogs without mustard but they didn’t bother to listen and out came my hotdogs with mustard. Fortunately the mustard tasted good.
j. s.
Great venue, came here for a wedding reception. The staff were fantastic and the food was amazing.
A. R.
Amazing food, music a tad too loud for a dinner but everything else was sooooooooooo good.
D. H.
Nice bar. Great idea with the Gin wheel
S. Y.
Lovely staff, great drinks good night with work colleagues.
M. F.
Went here for a nikon camera event that was being held . Had a small bar selection (non alcoholic) and people carrying orderves around . All the food was delicious especially there pork belly. Great atmosphere also so would work out well for a company event ect
D. F.
Good food and fun atmosphere.
A. R.
Good venue for so after work drinks or drinks before a show. The bar is loud when busy so not the most comfortable for food so try and sit in the dedicated dinning area. The food is tasty and the service good.
L. L.
Gin wheel was great fun.
All non gin based cocktails were below average. We had a good time. Staff was friendly and food was good.
J. R.
Great bar, the staff are extremely knowledgeable on the Gins they serve. The Gin wheel is a novel way to try something that you wouldn't usually.
M. K.
I had a catchup with my girlfriends. We chose the feed-me menu. The waitress asked if we have any dietary requirements. Our dietary requirements were no goats cheese, no lamb and no cauliflower.
We had all these food for sharing between 3 of us.
MIXED MEATS
a combination of cured meats, pickles & crackers
GIN & BEETROOT CURED SALMON
pickled beets, horseradish cream
MARG RIVER BRAISED BEEF CHEEKS (GF)
parsnip cream, brussels sprouts, capers
LILYDALE CHICKEN (GF)
harissa rubbed half chicken, pomegranate,
lime & mint yoghurt
BROCCOLINI (GF)
honey soy glaze, fried chilli, garlic chips, spiced nuts
DUCK FAT WASHED POTATOES (GF)
garlic aioli
The food selection was really good and sufficient for all of us. We have enough food.
They have a gin wheel and you can spin it for $12 for a selection of Gin.
My girlfriend wanted to have hot tea but unfortunately, they don't serve hot tea as we are told. We are a little disappointed.
We also used our entertainment book for a discount which is a decent discount on the food and drinks we ordered.
W.
Came on Friday night for an impromptu dinner because everywhere else in Perth appeared to be closed after new year. Had the $55 ‘can’t decide’ chefs menu each. Food was absolutely stellar, probably some of the best I’ve had in Perth. I was blown away. Starter was a mixed charcuterie board with breads, main was a fillet steak with duck fat roast potatoes and a kale Brussel sprouts and maple glaze, and the dessert was a caramel log with chantilly cream and lemon zest. Dessert was the best one I’ve had in years. Food was beautiful, atmosphere excellent and price, considering the amount of food on offer - spot on. Excellent, excellent venue. We’ll be back.
M. C.
Awesome, will come back again soon
N. Z.
Beautiful bar that offers drinks and food while offering a lot of entertainment in the drinks choice through their gin wheel which rewards you with a random gin out of 24 choices. Definitely a must see while in Perth!
b. r.
Attended a Gin master class night. Good knowledge of the staff. Food provided. Its a shared experience. Probably be better shared with friends.
D. W.
Tasty food, the beer selection is good and the gin trees are lots of fun.
M. M.
We attended a work function here last night - the food and ambience was simply amazing! The canapes were so varied, fresher than fresh, and quite a few veggie options too. My favourites were the polenta spoons with mushrooms, the mac'n'cheese bites and the cheese and carcuterie platters were divine. I hope I get to go here again!
M. S.
Food was Amazing!! Service was good. Would definitely recommend 😍
k. m.
Hi fabulous night, loved the music loved the food, and the wheel Gin great highlight.
Place had great vibe, Awesome Atmosphere.
Staff were really friendly, Id go back there again.
C. S.
Busy chic venue
Good menu
Craft beers on tap
Great selection of wines
Good cocktail list
Make sure you book if you wish to eat to avoid disappointment
K. P.
Great Gin Bar!! Spin the wheel.. It is worth it.. Got off early from work and sat there for a few hours with a friend at the bar and just spun the wheel all afternoon and got to try some old faithful and some new ones..good fun
L. S.
Do you find it too hard to choose a drink? Never know whether you want thyme, black pepper, fruit or mint with your gin? Will it go with the tonic you want? Worry no more and leave it to the magical wheel. Spin For Gin and let fate decide for you.
D. S.
Great venue with super-friendly staff. Only had a few drinks so not sure what the food is like, but it's a nice spot to sit down and chill out and watch the world go by for a while.
J. P.
Drinks were good. Ambience was remarkable. Food was beautiful. Overall, it was great but I wouldn't recommend it to food critics.
D. B.
Brilliant tapas with Spanish flavor authenticity expertly prepared from distinctly fresh ingredients. We had the chef’s assortment, and every dish was a delight.
m. h.
Loved the drinks, HUGE yummy choices, but selection of food/meals was not great
M. C.
Love this place. Good local beers and a massive selection of Gins. Food was amazing. Don't forget to try the Gin wheel.
L. K.
Cocktails are great and the gin wheel is so much fun! A great and cheap way to try new gins. Food is also amazing!
C. W.
Food and service good. Did not take cash and added a surcharge on credit card, not impressed
V. P.
Great place with aboundance gin. Gin is in their blood. Good craft beer and food selection. Could polish the customer service standards apart from that everything is perfect.
J. B.
fantastic bar. delicious gins. would recommend.
side note: the bar person said that the figure on the beefeater bottle was a blue collar worker, like a mechanic or miner perhaps?
i was sure it was homage to the beefeaters from the tower. hmm
lovely place and great tastes regardless
A.
Such a cool place with good music ! the gnocchi was amazing but the bread ordered as entree was just a bit average
R.
Lively bar, especially during the weekends.
Good choice of beers.
Good prices.
The music and the environment in general might get loud, I wouldn't suggest it for meetups or events in which communication is essential.
L. R.
Fast friendly service. The vegan edition menu was all delicious. I could eat the crispy potatoes and Katsu carrots every night of the week
L. V.
Very friendly staff, but for the price you pay for the food, it just seemed a bit underwhelming. Nice venue space for events with a lift available to get to the second floor.
L. C.
Very quiet on a Monday night, great place for a catch up with friends. Yummy food and staff were friendly and very attentive. Handy parking opposite.
N. L.
Great food, really good atmosphere. We were there for a show they were hosting which was also great, grabbed dinner before hand and had a great time.
J. G.
Friendly staff and trendy atmosphere. Pay $10 to spin the Gin Wheel. Had a delicious Gourmet Hot Dog.
K. S.
Awesome venue, great service, great bar tenders. Love the gin spin
L. L.

Well this place is just great! Good food....little pricey...but worth a visit. Friendly staff and very attentive.
M. F.
Great cocktails and tasty food.
L. R.
Fast friendly service. The vegan edition menu was all delicious. I could eat the crispy potatoes and Katsu carrots every night of the week
D. B.
The event space needs some acoustic panelling or something as it's really hard to hear once you get a crowd going up there. Everything else is great!
A. S.
Awesome location on Queen St, almost hidden away in the center of the city. Great variety of tapas like food, accommodating most dietary requirements.
D. K.
Great place for a gin. The people always have time to explain the drinks and offer recommendation. Service sets it apart
G. P.
A great selection of Gins... Who would have thought there were so many gins to choose from? 😊
A. M.
A pretty lively place on a Saturday night. Interesting food options.
K. W.
Went there for lunch last Friday and met the most thoughtful and informative waitress. Forgot to ask for her name but thumbs up to her service and great food.
B. H.
Roof doesn't deaden sound so quite loud but otherwise great place for drinks, especially if you like gin.
D. U.
Fantastic venue for a wedding. Aesthetic and functional. Only downside was the noise from downstairs affecting the speeches and the heat (no aircon - only a few fans)
D. B.
The event space needs some acoustic panelling or something as it's really hard to hear once you get a crowd going up there. Everything else is great!

Good ambiance, good food. Can get really hot though and the aircon there doesn't seem to cool the place down enough.Had a Christmas function here and it went ok.
I. H.
Awesome vibe, live this place. Great if you want to try different Gins as well!
B. S.
Food was fantastic (recommend the Octopus), great wine selection, and the service was faultless. Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing gin bar and covers its niche well. Great, but not amazing venue for all else.
H. C.
Nice food but they didn't put the air con on so it was uncomfortable and we just wanted to leave
P. B.
My friends and I were looked after by expert bartender Isaac. Fantastic customer service. Great atmosphere. Thank you!!!
H. L.

S.
Amazing gin bar! Make sure you take a spin at the wheel!
S. L.
Amazing choice of gins with a great atmosphere. Good chou e of beers too for the non gin lovers
N. B.
Another one of Perth's many new small bars - Edison bulbs, exposed ceilings, "vintage" decor and expensive drinks. New, cool... and unremarkable.
M. N.
G'day. This is an amazing gin bar with a fun wheel of Fortune type game where everyone's a winner. Big space, but can crowd... With good reason.
A. E.
Gin tree is a good idea, so is the octopus dish fml
D. E.
Food to die for in big helpings. Completely full. Friendly service. But no hot choc or barista coffee. 1 star off for that!
G. K.
Drinks were amazing, staff were knowledgeable and lovely, food was delicious, duck fat potatoes best by far.

M. F.
Really really really really really good food. Tidy little bar and restaurant hidden down a side street in a funky fashion district. Seriously, the food is incredibly good.
J.
It was OK, only attended rooftop area for work Xmas party. Could do with more than 1 stall for men's room though.
J. S.
Great food, huge selection of gins and a gin spin wheel for a suprise gin.
D.
Was super impressed by their cocktails 🍸🍸🍸🍸 barman gave us extra bar nuts as we were starving and the kitchen had closed haha
L. R.
The Feed Me menu is amazing. The staff are so knowledgeable and accommodating. I have so much fun there.
J. F.
Trendy feel. Not warm atmosphere. Difficult to get seat/table if not pre-reserved. Bar staff a bit slow and unattentive.
A. K.
Good drink selection. Could have done more to change the preexisting shop layout to make for more seating and standing area.
P. P. S.
100% best gnocci ive ever eaten!

Great funky space, amazing Gin selection with great food and service. A must visit when in Perth!

D. M.
If you live for gin this is the place for you great food fantastic gin selection in a relaxed funky atmosphere.
T. C.
Good place but gets crowded on weekend nights, its a bit disappointing they increased the Gin Wheel price from $10 to $11
D. M.
The layout isn't the best so it's easy to feel overcrowded. $14 for a pint is ludicrous!
D. (.
Well thought out venue, great selection of gin and cocktails
J. L.
Incedible selection of Gins and a fun novelty Gin wheel. However the wait for drinks was a excessive.

J. W.
Great gin bar, not much choice otherwise.
M. G.
Great service and good venue for a bash. The staff were very professional when one of the party attendees had a health emergency.
L. W.
Very noisy due to all the hard surfaces.
