Finally! A great pub in Iluka. We had a few share plates for a light lunch and a couple of drinks. Food was very tasty, good wine list and I had a very nice cocktail. There was a nice vibe, spacious venue with a fireplaces to sit near. I think this is going to be a great local. (Watch out for the self serve sparkling water. It comes out super fast)

We’ve been here a few times and finally decided to leave a review. Each time the food has been really excellent. It’s great to have a new local restaurant like this in the neighbourhood. Our favourites are the grilled octopus, garlic and chilli prawns, carbonara, and the mushroom and truffle oil pasta. I also like that they have sparking water and ambient temperature still water on tap. The atmosphere is definitely lively. If you want a place to quietly chat over dinner however, this might not be the place as once the music and chatter starts there is a lot of reverb happening off of the hard surfaces.

Good local pub, still finding its way a little. It is a shame that given its location, the building was not designed so that you could see over the dunes and not at the dunes. Limited food options, ran out of full cream milk for a cappacino and NO desserts. They do say they have a gluten free menu, so that may appease a few, but why are so many new venues really not up to speed with the variety across the board a community now demands.

Nice decor. Decent selection of drinks. I ordered the cheeseburger which looked great and was very nicely cooked to medium rare. However, the burger itself was a little short on flavour. The chips were delicious though and I have no doubt that the menu is full of great meals.

Went for dinner on a Thursday with some mums from our childrens school, great music. Restaurant itself is beautiful, decor and layout wasn't too bright or dull whats just perfect. We recently had Sunday lunch at the Iluka pub. We absolutely loved the whole experience. The food was great ( especially the Scotch Eggs with homemade Piccalilli on the side) The level of service was also really good. The attention to detail was what we really loved. “ we will definitely be back”

Our second visit, and I can now say the food and service are consistently good. Hubby raved about the “Steak Frites” after the first visit so I had to try it tonight. Oh my goodness! It will be difficult to choose anything else on the menu now that I know how good this is. Delicious!! Everything came out hot, and well presented. Great wine selection, and the drinks were lovely and cold. Fabulous glassware, too. Will definitely be back 😊

First visit, this is a very well done out place. Found my self looking around for ages, as there is a lot that catches the eye. The food we had was very nice, although we found the menu a bit restricted. If your a beer fan this the place, hugh selection...if not cocktails are the go...well worth a visit...

The Iluka is a new establishment. It is been open for only a couple of weeks at this time. It is a pleasant spacious Tavern with beautiful facilities. Located on the coast and in the Iluka Plaza it is easy to get to and there is plenty of Street and Undercover Parking. The kitchen opens at 11:30 a.m. so it is a good place to stop for lunch for casual drink this friends.

Really get that I received value for money, everything I ordered was full of flavour and an ample sized portion. Tiny little complaint would be, just a little more ice cream to go with brownies. I visited this venue for Melbourne cup. What an amazing day, food was spot on atmosphere amazing! Great place to hold events and large functions. Staff really know how to go above and beyond. Will definitely be coming back to future events and for dinner regularly! Best steak I’ve had in a very long time.

We went for a girls catch up dinner on a Thursday night. The venue is nice, new etc but they must still be finding their feet. There was absolutely no host to greet and show you to your bookings we stood around for 15 minutes before we asked the bar staff. We booked a low table as we didn't want to eat at bar stools, and were given a table with bar stools 2 metres from the stage which was playing extremely loud music. We had to shout at each other to have a conversation. The food was pretty good it just couldn't be enjoyed in such a loud, hectic and uncomfortable environment, which would maybe be expected on a weekend but Thursday night was a curve ball. Not enough staff, the only contact we had was when we went up to the bar to order our food. I was actually ignored when trying to get attention more than once. Perhaps let people know when they book a restaurant table that it isn't available and will be in bar area. There were families with small kids next to us and it certainly didn't look like much fun. Maybe its better at lunch time?

Great to have a pub in Iluka and walking distance. Can be very hard to hear on a busy night, due to the chatter from everyone. I wish there was a ceiling and better soft surfaces to deaden the noise. We always go I and turn left, the TV room/area is smaller and the noise isn't as bad. Went the other night and there were many candles and tea lights around the place, made a great ambiance. Suggestion: more speakers and louder music to help deaden the chatter from people. Staff are really nice. Food is very good, we love their pizzas!

A massive thank-you for the use of the function room at The Iluka for the FAST 30 Fitness Coach 3rd birthday celebration Friday 29th October 2021. The event went off without a hitch. The staff on the night were brilliant, and so accommodating. An absolute credit to yourself, Ryan and Wes. The staff always asked if everything was going well and were so prompt with service. Both the wait staff and bar staff were excellent. Now for the food. The salmon you recommended was amazing. All my clients have said how incredible the food was that night and then pizza's just delicious. Iluka is definitely streets ahead on events. A groups of friends and myself attended the Melbourne Cup event at the Iluka and wow our awesome hosts had thought of everything. There was plenty of yummy food and drink, great service too. The entertainment was fabulous there was live music everyone was up singing and dancing followed by a DJ .you could have your pics taken in the photo booth snd have a spin on the roulette tables. Cracking new pub with very nice decor, a good selections of beers on tap and caters for casual dining, lunches and disco later at night on Fridays and Saturdays. Go have a look, and a meal. Plenty of English favs, vegetarian and vegan options and pub classics. Steak sandwich needs some work though - like maybe have a steak in it... not tiny strips of off cut steak.

Whilst the atmosphere and drinks were great we waited over an hour on a Wednesday night for our meals. When they did come out they came out bit by bit and half of the food was either cold or burnt. Completely appreciate it’s a new venue etc and hopefully gets a bit quicker the longer their open for, as it would be great to have a decent local.

Great venue, fantastic quick bar service. Irritated by an unannounced employee trying to move us off our table to ram even more people in a very packed pub. First time ok but by the third time quite annoyed. Spent a lot on food and drinks so found lady annoying as she tried to guilt trip us because she said she had a family outside with kids who were cold. Easy to solve just allow people to book tables and then you can stop harassing customers

Place is okay, for a local it's definitely not the 'go to', but nice to stop in for a drink on the way to somewhere else. The barrel tables and tall tables are pretty uncomfortable. Barrels you have to sit sideways and tall tables in the sports bar are too low for the chairs.

I’ve dined at this establishment many times, and every time I’ve been it’s been nothing but pure class. The food is great, the customer service that I’ve received couldn’t be anymore polite. It has a great atmosphere, due to always hosting different events almost every second week. The iluka is the place to be!!!!

Popped in here for the first time, decor absolutely gorgeous, greeted by friendly staff. We had pizza , prawn & chorizo, which was up there with one of the best. We indulged and had dessert. Creme brûlée was amazing and the chocolate brownie was chocolate heaven. Great atmosphere, so happy we popped in and we will certainly be back.

I came to the venue at about 11:15am on Melbourne cup day and didn't have a ticket. The manager on the door was dressed very professionally and quite helpful in assisting me to purchase a ticket for the event after the app said ticket sales had closed. The singer and dj atmosphere were amazing! After going to the Mullaoo for the last couple of years for the cup, I think I have found a new place to go

Trendy new Bar and Kitchen in Iluka. Very busy at present as the locals check it out. Food is good value for money. Service is warm and friendly. Good selection of tap beers and all the usual fair for non beer drinkers.

Beautiful place, great atmosphere, we definitely need more places like that up North! I was also very happy to see different menu from your standard 'burgers and parmi' meals, however I must say the paella we ordered was extremely disappointing - it was completely tasteless with soggy watery rice, drizzled with smallest amount of minced chorizo (?). The only good thing about it was nice fresh seafood. If the food was spectacular I wouldn't mind such high prices (and the prices are high!) but in this scenario it's quite disappointing. I really hope it will get better in time, otherwise it will be a big shame!

We had eagerly been Awaiting the opening of The Iluka & have now been Many times since the doors first opened …. We’ve eaten , we’re drank , we’ve danced & could not fault the venue one bit !! From the moment you walk in it gives you sense Home … it’s warm , Stylish , inviting & has a great atmosphere….the food is delicious, the drinks are on point & served in stylish glass wear ….the staff are so helpful, smartly dressed , I love the aprons ! …. Nikki one of the owners was so helpful in trying to get us a table at a very busy time … & it was done with a big friendly smile … this is now definitely our new local …& a bonus is you get to have a good ole boogie if you choose on a Friday & Saturday evening … the music was AWSOME… A huge thank you guys for opening such a beautiful new venue & we look forward to sharing & enjoying many more nights there for years to come … we wish you every success . .x

First time visiting establishment had booked into restaraunt for dinner. On arrival didn't know where to go to restaurant Two waitresses ignored us when asked. Had to ask girl taking food orders at bar. She escorted us to our table for two which was that close to another table that I had to sit in the walk way to sit at our table. Restaurant area not really seperate from bar area. Food was nice but I feel a bit pricey. Probably will not return for dinner but may try lunch time as have money left on voucher

Bar is fantastic, I can see this being the place to go, but be aware that when foreign sports events are held they do not serve alcohol while watching at early hours. I have never before experienced watching the Euro cup final and only been on offered water and soft drinks!!! If you want to experience atmosphere don’t go here!!! Pay the money and go to the city. Only 3 stars because nice looking staff

Been to the Iluka on numerous occasions and have been blown away by the whole experience. The venue is stylish, yet cosy and comfortable. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the food is delicious. What makes it stand out from many bars is the fact that the owners are often around checking that everything is ok. We had the most fantastic time at Melbourne Cup 2021!! I hadn't been to one for a while but I must say this was all laid on!!! The owners had thought of everything... decorated beautifully throughout with flowers, games, photobooth, fresh flowers on every table, Louis Vuitton prizes for best dressed lady and gentleman.... who else does that!!!! Platters of food was served by smiling staff, in abundance and delicious. The bar staff were efficient and very friendly even though it was so busy as all your food and drinks were included in your $99 ticket!! Bargain!! After a few hours on my feet in heels, I discovered that The Iluka had provided free thongs for aching feet so we could keep on dancing :-) I'll be back next year and can't wait for NYE.

The Ambience is very inviting , and the decor is very modern. The menu is limited in its range and the Bar snacks are small for the price. My wife had the chicken bites, usually when your in a pub you get salad garnish. I was going to have the scotch egg but $12 seemed ridiculous for one. I think there is room for improvement.

Great food and a wide choice of beverages to choose from at this venue. Well supported but a little noisy if you are looking for a quiet place to chat, with the buzz of conversations. Large groups will need to book to avoid disappointment. The staff are both friendly and efficient.

Evening meal with friends. I expected a much better quality of meal for the price and a more knowledgeable and intimate service from the staff for the price. $40 for a main meal, it's a bit expensive for what is pub grub, collect your own cutlery, fetch your own water etc . .small portions size. Small piece of Barramundi. Nice atmosphere and decor, good choice of drinks, if I dine there again, I'll have traditional cheaper pub grub fayre like beef burger and chips. 3 star review mainly due to value for money.
