Grabbed a drink here on Saturday night. Standing room only if no meals, found a nook downstairs. Nice view from the roof, but again all tables. Staff were friendly and misses served a nice cocktail.

Great bar in Northbridge. Large space with an inside and outside bar. The food is very good. Try a selection of the share plates. Asian influenced tapas style. The Korean chicken is yummy.

The boys and girls brought me here for Father’s Day celebration. Great atmosphere and service. Music was a bit loud but they kindly turned it down at our request and swapped table for us. The lazy weekend platter was huge and enough for 5 of us. The only disappointment was pork schnitzel was brown and charred - turns out to be dry and overcooked. We ordered two deserts - mango sherbet and cake with popcorn and honeycomb ice cream - both great blending and delightful design. We went up the rooftop overlooking the city and had a few candle light pictures. Absolutely stunning! Price is very affordable for the young ones. Drink could be pretty expensive but we are ok with just bottled water. Recommended for those looking for a great night out with friends. Big place and a lot of tables.

Not sure if the lady is a security guard/front counter staff memeber, but her name is Eleanor and she's from Italy. Absolutely outstanding customer service from her. So polite, friendly and caring!! Give her a pay rise!! Thanks for making our night pleasant 😁 If wanting to dine in for dinner, def book..however you can walk in for drinks in the garden bar side. What great service !! Greeted with a smile and everything explained in detail. Gave me hope for service in Perth. The menu was a nice surprise, not your typical pub grub, lots of options and caters well for vegetarians and gluten free options. A tasty mulled wine to top it off too. Definitely returning for another round.

We were a little apprehensive to try their Asian Fusion Menu but the chef has executed this beautifully. Ambiance is super cute, peaceful and makes for the perfect insta story. Can not wait to return to try the Lazy Weekend Menu.

As far as the food, service and atmosphere, I loved it. We went for lunch and ordered the Lazy Weekend platter, which was very affordable. They dishes were delicious! Our cocktails were to die for, too! The staff members were prompt to assist us and were very friendly. The only one matter that I had hope for would be that it was a little hard to chat with my friends. The music was a tad bit loud. Other than that, highly recommended and we'll be back to try other items on the menu.

We were a group of six. They seated us up on the outside deck in the gardens which was great. It was a cool night but there plenty of gas heaters. The food was great with lots of interesting choices and all good value. I'd definitely go back....soon

We found this place by accident. Sweet little garden out the back and you can sit indoors, in the garden, or on the rooftop. Staff come to you for drink orders so you save your legs. I loved the inner city vibe of being above the action and catching the breeze. The food menu looked interesting too - asian style share plates.

We went to The Standard on a Saturday afternoon for lunch in the courtyard. First up we ordered some cocktails which were divine. Definitely worth getting one if you are here as they were very nice - both tasty and beautifully presented. We ordered the Lazy Susan share plate which was definitely enough food for four people! We even had a little left over. But if you are big eaters I think it could be tackled by three people. The share plate was delicious and everything cooked to perfection. A great try if you are looking for something different as the food & flavours were quite unique. The only let down was the service at the start, we were kept waiting a while for our table by the hostess as she sorted out another customer's billing issues. I understand these things happen but there were other staff walking around who we asked where we could sit down - they told us to keep waiting. Althought not their responsibility it would have been nice if they had taken iniative to look at the booking sheet to let us know where to go and sit. Instead we were left standing akwardly at the counter. However after this our assigned waitress was attentive and friendly.

Well designed place with a cool atmosphere, our waitress was pretty darn good too, even when 1 meal was missed she promptly apologised to the table and took it off the bill. Couldn't give it a 5 star review though due to the rather odd unpleasent smell from their outside area.

Had the most relaxing afternoon here, the venue is fantastic, great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We shared the lazy Sunday platter and it was huge, more than enough for the two of us! Fantastic drink selection to choose from and I think the menu is appropriately priced. my wife is celiac and the menu has a huge variety of GF and vegan options. One last praise to the staff, the kitchen were more than happy to accommodate to her dietary requirements and to the front of house, it was so refreshing to have a waiter that knew the menu backwards, was well informed of the GF options and knew the items that she could and could not have due to cross contamination etc A fantastic venue, well worth a visit!!!

I love the Lazy Sundays! Anytime they have one with plenty of vegetarian options like the Italian one, I always go, some other times it's good for my partner because he eats all the meat. Nice place with nice inniatives like first beer free on the Indie beer national day in collaboration with Nowhereman brewery, the only place in Perth doing something like that. Always has a good craftbeer on tap. I'll keep coming, hopefully they keep adding more vegetarian options in the Lazy Sundays.

Valentines Day dinner! Great table service, staff are very friendly and attentive. I had the fish of the day (some sort of snapper) in a strange mango soup. My companion had the BBQ chicken. Her portion was so much bigger than my soup... For desert, portions reversed and I had the more generously sized popcorn mousse. Food was good, portions need to be a little more even... Plenty more on the menu I would like to try. Atmosphere is lovely. Book a table and eat on the roof top 😍

Giving 3 stars for a difference of opinion. This is a yuppy bar so the people giving it 5 are from this demographic. Despite this, the beer selection was poor (only 4 tap beers, two of which were raspberry and mango flavor.) Food was great quality and reasonable price. However, most of the tables are booked and not all food was available due to being "reserved".

Came for the Hawker Monday $10 Laksa special with unlimited soup, it was delicious! The soup was more watery and acidic and the usual creamy thick Laksa you get in Perth, but it was very good. Slow cooked chicken was extremely tender and delicious. Also tried the miso mushrooms, very generous serving size and tasty mushrooms but the the creamy substance it sat on tasted pretty strange, would not recommend. Would definitely recommend booking for the Hawker Monday specials!

I had prebooked & put a $200 deposit down in advance for a table to celebrate my birthday drinks, however due to the 5-day lockdown they were postponed (completely understandable). Re-booked with no issues, however when we arrived on the night no table had been reserved and it was about 30 minutes before we were given one in a corner on the ground floor. The staff managed to accomodate us on the rooftop as previously requested, after we had enquired. Our waitress Laura was an absoloute star, the first hour was just a bit disappointing.

This is my go to bar. The cocktails are the best in Perth hands down. I love the punches, if you don't like the taste of alcohol definitely try them. 'Orchard blossom' is the absolute best. They will pretty much make any cocktail you want for $18, and they are always presented beautifully. The potato gems are also the best in Perth, a must try. The rest of the food is not really my personal style, I love it as a bar not a restaurant. Definitely go if you love cocktails, they have an abundance.

But last night was not that great when their staff was so rude. She had no smile, very bitter and cold. Yes, we all are tired from working, calm down. We had booked for a birthday. We were seated outside which was great. We chose outside thinking it would be a bit quieter. The background music wasnt exactly that. We asked if it could be turned down a bit which they did. The food and drinks arrived not long after ordering and we werent disappointed. We had shared plates which gave everyone a chance to sample what was on offer. Our friends hadnt been before and they were impressed. They said they would come back in the future. There should be a description of ALL beers on tap not just put 2 names on the beverage list when there are more to be had.

Great night out- great ambiance, flavoursome food, nice cocktails. The market fish dish has to be one of my favourites. I’m not a big fan of fish curry but every time I have been here they’ve served a beautiful dish. Hats off to the staff here, a large reason for the return of customers is the engaging and attentive staff they have here. They contribute to your dining experience and welcome questions as they seem well versed in their menu. Only reason why it’s not a 5/5 is just because of their price range, eg $18 per cocktail

After a bad first encounter I gave this place another try and it was a completely difference experience. Bar and waitstaff are pleasant and competent. The menu items are quite unique and are big on flavor, well worth their price range. Anything from the barrel aged cocktails line were a big hit with our group, definitely will be coming back for more.

Funky venue just a short stroll from Perth train station and Yagan Square. Staff are friendly, plenty of choice when it comes to beer, wine and cocktails. The food menu is pretty good as well. Lots to keep punters happy, and the beer garden has an old school trendy hip feel to it. Well worth a visit.

We came in at 7pm on Friday and by 7:30pm it was loud with music and general white noise of people shouting to talk to each other. It's a warehouse style building so acoustics aren't good. Wow. What an experience. I used to come to the standard a lot years ago. I am absolutely delighted that the venue has lost none of its creativity and flare in the kitchen in the 2 years since I have been here. Service with a smile, limited but good wine list (quality not quantity) and the market fish coconut curry with rice gnocchi - PHENOMENAL. That meal has nailed the sweet and sour ratio better than most authentic Bangkok Street vendors. 10/10, highly recommend, glad to have reaquainted with an old flame. Anton

THE FOOD IS AMAZING. Flavours, presentation, everything. The food came out a lot quicker than anticipated, especially for a moderately-busy Friday night. We ordered salt and vinegar cassava chips, the coconut kingfish, duck salad, prawn chicken katsu, and the caramelised kangaroo. So impressed with the incredible and unique flavours and ingredients. It was seriously a party in my mouth. It’s THAT good. (The caramelised kangaroo is a little salty on its own, and would recommend trying them with the cassava chips nacho-style to break up the saltiness. You won’t be disappointed.) I enquired about the food and it’s flavours, and their head chef who travelled the world created all the yummy masterpieces you find on their menu! Aperitifs were delicious and (dangerously) easy to drink. Every single staff member was amazing, happy, pleasant and genuine. Even the security guy! I requested for an intimate setting for my reservation for two and my request was fulfilled perfectly. Very happy I chose this place for dinner! It was nice and busy (but not too crowded) at 8:30pm! This created a great vibe, on top of the good variety of music that played. The fairy lights added even more ambience to the already-great venue. First time visiting and very impressed. I cannot wait to return

Had an amazing experience here on Saturday night with my husband,after running late and changing my booking by 45mins (which wasnt a problem for them at all) we were treated by a lovely waitress who seated us promptly. They were packed as usual, but requested to move outside as soon as a table became free which they did within 5 mins! Daisy our waitress was friendly, helpful and professional, explaining the dishes and regularly checking our table. We ended up ordering 2 serves of the kingfish which is out of this world!! NW prawns and the octopus were yummy too. The kangaroo however was more like a nut roast and no mention of nuts on the menu description. It wasnt too our liking but we tried something new and there was nothing wrong with the dish. We definitely were not expecting it to be taken off the bill which Daisy did as she wanted us to enjoy our whole experience! Dessert was fantastic!We had the honeycomb semifreddo with limoncello foam OMG! We will definitely be back soon and cant wait to try your new sister restaurant "the Royal". FYI our poor photography skills do not do the dishes justice!

Had gone to Jamie Olivers as had been given a voucher the service was so bad we got up and walked out preferring to walk into The Standard and pay for our lunch then have a free meal at Jamie's. The Standard was everything Jamie's wasn't. We shared the beef shin which is one of the best dishes we have had in a long time, but it was the service that impressed us. Yes it was lunch time and not the busiest but I have been in places were they seem to use that as an excuse to switch off and not engage you. From the bar staff to the wait staff and the manager and of course the food we had a wonderful lunch

Food here is fantastic. We had the charcuterie board and the grilled goat's brie. All delicious. I was a bit disappointed by the cocktails - while the flavours were nice, they had way too much ice and barely anything in them to drink! Next time I think I'll order something more standard/classic like a Negroni or Old Fashioned. We came for an early dinner, and had a booking, but when I arrived the staff seemed to just ignore me, even when I did a lap through the place looking for my friend. It was also difficult to tell who were staff and who were patrons, because the staff wore no uniform, and no one was offering me any help! Once we were seated, the staff seemed more accommodating, though, so maybe they just get lots of blow ins or something.

Booked my long awaited "Lazy Sunday" lunch at The Standard after seeing many Instagram Pics of delicious and creative $40 lazy Susan lunch offerings. Made a note on booking about my tree nut and seed allergy. Arrived and were seated only to be told that the Lazy Sunday option was not suitable for me due to my seed allergy (beef cooked in seasame oil) and that the item couldn't be swapped out so we would have to chose from the open menu. Now the food at The Standard is delicious - have never left there disappointed, however I was quite annoyed at the fact that a call wasn't placed to me prior to my arrival to advise the possible issue and that in turn ended in my spending $60+ on my planned $40 lunch. Had a call have been made, I could have had the choice to cancel and rescheduled for another "Lazy Sunday" lunch - given that really was my whole reason for the visit in the first place! On a positive note, the food was excellent and it IS a lovely place to have a Sunday lunch.

I'm not sure about mixing prawn meat and chicken into a pattie, it wasn't bad but I'm not sure it was good either. Korean BBQ chicken was good spicy flavours and good serving size. Service was friendly and setting was great with fairy lights outdoors.
