We had lunch on Sunday at this lovely old venue. Food was excellent, could not fault it. Prompt friendly service. Staff were attentive without been intrusive. Huge portions & great value for money. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars but we had just finished our main courses & contemplating ordering dessert when a group of 4 entered the restaurant with a medium to large size dog and were seated 2 booths behind us. I was made aware that this venue was dog friendly as I saw a sign above the entrance with conditions upon our arrival. I wasn't concerned as this venue has a large outdoor area & I assumed the dogs would be restricted to the outdoor area. Hence we decided to have dessert somewhere else. Although food & service was excellent I am not sure we will return. Having dogs in an indoor restaurant in my opinion is unsanitary & possible unsafe for patrons.

10th Dec I was there with a group. The establishment was decked out lovely for Xmas & clean. The staff was very helpful & friendly, especially a lovely young dark headed girl, who was bubbly, friendly, chatty & helpful, thanku 🤗 I had a rib eye med to well done thick steak which was perfectly cooked which melted in my mouth, was to die for ❤. Want to say a huge thanku to the chef 🥂 & all the staff. I would definitely recommend the place & will be back. Merry Xmas team ❤🤗🥂

Northern Gourmet Toastmaster Club has their meeting on the 4th Tuesday of the month. The services provided for the club was excellent. We had the Function Room for the meetings. The room was set up before our meetings. Senior Menu & normal menu have a good selection. Parking was good, in front of the building, bright lighting at night. Bright parking area is Safe for all customers.

The Stringey Bark used to be a great choice and we visited at least once a week, but sadly not so anymore. Too many menu changes and you can't even get regular veges with a meal any longer. Even the seniors menu popular choices are no longer on the menu. But they do give a generous seniors discount on the main menu items. Have to cut back to visiting once a fortnight 😀

Great meals, friendly staff. A bit unsure of how to order via the disc on the table that you have to scan. The meals turned up so we did it right. The Tavern is a hidden little gem. More live entertainment on a Friday or Saturday would be great.

Absolutely awesome! Always a great venue, we held a small, last minute gathering for my brother's bucks night. Nicole was an absolute star, helping to organise the particulars and get things nailed down in the week running up. Vanessa was an absolute legend behind the bar, through the night, and made things so easy for me as the one organising things last minute. Huge thanks to all the kitchen staff for the awesome food. Simply put, an awesome place to go for a function, a gathering or a sit-down meal. Thanks to all involved.

Went with a group of friends, a few menu changes after ordering due to anavailable ingredients which was fixed but seeing as we paid through the qr code, no pricing was amended. I brought a Gi ger beer with ice and they charged me for a scooner due to the ice which was a nice honest touch!

Had lunch today, and was really impressed with the new menu. I had the new "pork belly salad" and it was amazing. The pork was plentiful and cooked perfectly. The Asian salad was a wonderful array of vegetables and dressing. Service was great, and the friendly staff. We will be back!

This place has a warm, casual welcoming atmosphere to share with family and friends or just for two. Being a Saturday night we both enjoy this atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The food and service experienced where excellent so we stayed and had dessert with a coffee to cap off a all around great evening. We both would be coming back again and try this place for lunch as well.

After using flyer have been twice more. Every time we had pensioners meal deals (see pic) and can't fault them for price or quality (try the 200gms steak, tender as and well cooked). The staff very friendly and helpful. Quick service. Other people with us had meals from main menu and were extremely impressed also. Added attraction is children's play area very clean and monitored, viewable on big screen.

5 starts all round! Great pub with a playground for the kids that keeps them entertained so you can get 5 minutes peace to yourself. The food is also pretty good. I had the ribs which were generous and delicious. My wife had the parmy which was a crowd pleaser. They also do table service which is a bit of a rarity at a pub these days. Will be coming back here again.

Not bad , but not good either. Had the steak and prawns for dinner and at over $40 i wasn't entirely impressed with what arrived. Food was mediocre for all 5 of us on the table, and at the prices charged i thought the presentation wouldve at least had some effort. Had much better elsewhere for same price or less. Gave this place a second chance for dinner, would struggle to give a third. Good for beers and snack foods, and has play area for the kids which tilts them just slightly above average.

Food and service is great! Could not fault. Great area to keep the kids occupied, however could be more cleaner and offer some board games for the kids whilst waiting for their meals as the play area does get a bit packed on a busy day. Will 100% be returning though.

My wife and I had lunch at the Wanneroo Tavern last week for the very first time and it will not be the last, what an experience. Let me share it with you all. Front of house staff, Sophie who took our order and Sammy our waitress, we’re very friendly and helpful, without being overly attentive. Something we had not come across before, was a choice of a standard wine and a large wine, my wife went for the large glass great value. The food was out standing, in quality and portion size, I went for the Chicken Satay, something I’ve not had in a long time and I was not disappointed, tender juicy Chicken pieces on a fresh crispy Slaw on a bed of perfectly steamed Rice the Satay Sauce was to die for. I did comment to Sammy that the Satay Sauce was probably the best I’ve had, since holidaying in Bali many years ago. Not surprised to find out the two Chefs On shift we’re Balinese! My wife had the Porter House Steak, with a Mushroom Sauce, Chips and Salad, she asked for the senior portion as she was not that hungry, just as well It was very generous , a perfectly cooked tender Steak. We did notice other dinners taking home leftovers, in biodegradable containers, a testament to the portion sizes. Overall we would give the Wanneroo Tavern, Five stars out of Five for staff, food quality and portion size and the venue, comfortable and quiet.

It starts with easy parking on the forecourt and then once inside, it's such a lively upbeat place. Really suitable for families and couples, with age not being a barrier. The selection available on the menu was perfect for a tavern and once we placed our orders (group of 4) through one of the readily available waitstaff, it arrived piping hot and in a respectable timeframe. The food was D-licious and so with a little bit of room available, we tried the desserts. They were quickly presented to our table and they tasted scrumptious. - Fabulous staff including Kirsty, and obviously the management is doing the right thing with the place considering the chirpy staff and environment. We'll be back soon!

We had a great experience here. Group of four of us and we all ordered something different. I ordered the beef pie and it was cooked to perfection. Was fairly busy as it was on a Sunday. Staff and service was great and friendly. Only criticism is it was quite loud but probably because it was busy. The Acoustics in the restaurant probably not great as it was quite overpowering with the noise of everyone. Overall was a great experience have a good recommend

I went to the tavern a lot as a yonger kid but then our family decided to "get old" lol. But tonight was so good. I love the customer service and I love the food. I honestly can't rate this place any higher. They helped me make my ideas of a surprise birthday become real. Everyone was very friendly and eager to help ensure the night was a success. The layout of the room is fantastic and very affordable to hire. Their catering is fantastic and also affordable. The platter sizes are huge and of great quality. The bistro is a nice retreat from the boganity and yewwing Wanneroo is famous for, however if you are up for that sort of thing the sports bar has all your double-plugger and hi-viz needs covered. The best of both worlds love the place.

Slightly disappointed, first impressions on entering the restaurant for our Christmas Lunch, stood while the manager was counting money didn't even acknowledge us!! I understand busy but, a merry Christmas I'll be with you in a minute would have been nice. Taken to our table and nothing explained to us about the meal or the drinks package that we had purchased. Waitress then told us about a wrist band we were supposed to be given. Meal itself wasn't bad but main staples in a Christmas meal where missing eg stuffing, sprouts and roast potatoes....bit of a let down.

Love what they've done with the place, they really cleaned it up and made it a nicer environment. Their daily lunch deal is unbeatable (a choice of several different meals for $15 and you can add on a pint or glass of wine for only $5!). Only gripe is sometimes their service is lacking.

Good service. Good quality food, they have a new menu. For us its a good place to stop on the way home from the airport. It has a play ground for the boy and always kids to play with. And most importantly it's got a good range of beers on tap, and a sports bar.

UPDATED- We returned for lunch on a Monday with the family. After making contact with the manager, Andy, after the last visit, and being invited back we were really happy with the service and food this time. I had a wonderful burger with jalepenos and the other family members were also more than happy ..so a fantastic result in the end. The kids eat free before 5pm is a great deal also. We will be back again! Good venue, face painting for the kids on a Sunday night was a great touch. Kids meals were good, beware the chicken strips/tenders.,..they're not crumbed so resulted Inna meltdown for one of our kids haha. The pizza specials are not great at all, but most others meals were really great.

Delicous food, great prices. This is a family favourite for Birthdays and other get togethers and has always been. The food here is fantastic.the portions fit the prices always good value for money. I love the decor of the place the time and effort that went into making this place feel homely is awesome. Split billing is also an option they offer which is fantastic for large groups.

We went for a friend's casual birthday get together with a total of 25 people. The wait staff attended to our two tables promptly taking drink orders. She later returned once we were all ready to order our meals and took our orders. Some of us ordered on a separate bill to make payment easier and the waitress did warn us that we may wait a little longer for our meals but they all came within 20 minutes of the last person odering. We were a little disappointed with the amount of chips we received with our parmis ($26 each) and the quality of the schnitzels though. The Turkish bread ($12) we ordered as an appetizer for two was delicious however. We also ordered three kids meals (one buger and two nuggets and chips) and while I felt the quality of the nuggets wasn't great, my children ate every single crumb and considering we got the kids' meals free as it was before 6pm I feel it was still a very good deal. The playground was also a big hit with the children. It did get a little chaotic in there as no one seemed to supervise their children and a glass was taken in a shattered. The wait staff were very quick to attend to it though. Overall a good night.

Pretty cool tavern, old rustic design with plenty of seating and a playground for the kids Menu is reasonably extensive and well priced with a good selection of beverages. Nice place to stop in for a casual meal or a catchup with mates. theres also a function area out back for event hire. All in all a great little spot to visit, will be down there again soon!

My wife and stayed here for 1 night and it was great, great service, great location, and the rooms were newly renovated with everything brand new inside. You even get 2 free drinks when you check in! Can not fault it. I would definitely stay here again. Very cheap for what you get too!

My wife and I with 2 sub 8 kids went on a Thursday night for the $20 chicken parmigiana special. In my 45 years of age this is without a doubt the most delicious parmigiana I have eaten especially for being only $20 with chips and a salad. There are daily specials, check the website for this. The rest of my family really enjoy their meals also and with a glass of wine was a mere $69. The layout of the restaurant is very open plan, not really warm and cosy with tiled floors and wooden tables but perfectly fine for Messy children. There is a indoor playground for the little ones to keep occupied which is very handy. Service is great. See you next time.

Visited on a Thursday. $15 Parmy night. Our party of 6 said the parmy was light and moist. All loved there loaded Parmys. I had the grilled Barra special, noted on menu it came with avocado in the salad but none was to be found. Staff were not really trained. Found one staff member rude passing dishes accross everyone as we talked. No training in hospitality at all. Pricing very good. If you live in the area, give it a go otherwise don't waste your time driving.

The Stringy Bark Restaurant as part of the Wanneroo Villa Tavern was fantastic! Great food, with a huge indoor kids area and free face painting on the night we went. Even with a couple of screens displaying the entry to the play area so you can sit relaxing while keeping an eye on comings and goings.
