Dear Wines of While fabulous peeps! We had such a lovely time on Saturday with our friends in your bar/restaurant for THE most divine lunch. Honestly, the food, the service and of course the wines were all superb! We rolled out of there satiated and with no requirement for dinner! P.S. I had such a great time, I booked to take a friend on Friday evening! :-)

Tastefully, bold and sweet just a bit. Smooth and then rough a bit. Paid $11.50 but due to lockdown paid $20. Worth it every moment. Fabulous, wonderful and excellent staff members plus atmosphere too. Wished I can give 10/5 but no, sorry. Ultimate unconditional greatness love and kind regards, Steve.

Service is a bit hit or miss. Staff made it feel like they were doing us a favour by serving us. Food is good though (if slightly on the smaller side…)

I am a massive fan of Wines of While, and this has recently become my go-to for Friday night drinks. It’s worth getting there early to snag a table outside, but if you time it right you’re set for the night. A great selection of natural wines available by the glass (and loads of bottles in the fridge), and Charlie and the team are always happy to give you an explanation and a taste before you make your choice. The customer service and passion is definitely what keeps me coming back every week! And the food is good, too - you literally cannot go past the white beans, with bread and butter on the side. A great little wine bar at the top of William street in Northbridge. Great selection of interesting wines by the glass and bottle. Sit down and enjoy a relaxed friendly atmosphere that is not pretentious! Reasonable prices on the wines, plus a few beers and some sharing plates to enjoy with your wine on offer. A great addition to the area.

Whether you are looking for a good glass of wine to enjoy while you catch up with friends or a bottle to consume at home this place can provide.If it's wine by the glass you are here for, the menu changes as frequently as the bottles empty, with something equally enjoyable taking the place of the last.Should you find yourself needing some food to last you through until the next cork is popped on the by the glass menu, then the kitchen can certainly meet that need. There's a great selection of share plates and bar snacks available. But do make sure to get your order in before the kitchen closes, at around 9pm.

Really great place to have a glass of wine, some good food and catch up with friends on a Friday / Saturday night. The prices are quite decent and the atmosphere is great for smaller or larger groups. The food is also great and clearly fresh and homemade. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out.

Absolutely proof that you don't need to have a flash complicated venue to be good. Wines are served out of a bucket of ice, no taps, small amount of fridges and not too many drink selections. The staff are really friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about their stock. The seating is a combination of indoors and tables on the street, and it all works. I've not tried any food here yet, but certainly keen to, and I expect it will be delivered in the same manner as the drinks - stylish, delicious and with no bulls***. Definitely a fan of this place.

The wine selection is great and the cheese board is better than most - good serving sizes just not enough crackers. Lost a star because the seating situation needs to be improved. If you want to go somewhere to feel like you’re being collectively judged by the pseudo-hipster patrons then go no further than here.

Great selection of natural wines from many different origins. My partner and I have been weekly costumers in the past few months and we always get the best wine recommendations from George. It's good to have someone greeting you as soon as we walk in, like he does; The food menu has also greatly improved since the new chef took over, we had an amazing dinner the other night, every single dish was delicious and we just kept ordering one after the other to try more.

Great spot for a drink - feels so nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy a drink! Selection of wines is great and the aperol spritz was cheap and great value for money. Almost feels like you’re on holiday. Staff were very attentive and the tall guy behind the bar was particularly friendly and lovely.

Love this place! Whether it's for a bit of Friday fun or a midweek date night, the changing menu never disappoints and neither does the selection of wines. But, beyond that - the bread is good enough to always have me coming back for more. Being a popular spot, it can sometimes be hard to find a seat, however I find the staff are always accommodating and I have never had to wait for too long.

Really beautiful selection of wine and amazing food. The only downside to this place is how popular it is — it's very popular. The staff are incredible, very friendly and super relaxed when it comes to helping you with dine-in and take away bottles. <3

Great little venue if inside, invest in some outside heaters as we had one glass and left. Can't understand the need to serve red wine chilled or from an ice bucket of open bottles. Service average as apart from serving, no recommendations and no up selling.

Wines of While is amazing. For too long we have been missing out on small wine bars you can find aplenty in Europe. It has got a great atmosphere, amazing selection of wines, and very tasty nibblies to enjoy with your tipple. We need more of these gems. And less draconian and overbearing liquor laws like in Europe! Our drinking culture is maturing and it's through places like this that show us there is a lot to be positive about. Well done.

A simple, elegant, classy and comfortable space. The wines are impressive and intricate, balanced nicely between their distinctness and deliciousness. The food is a wonderful accompaniment to the drink, and the staff are a delight. Definitely worth a visit!

Incredible selection of natural wines; Extensive range of both local creations, and exotic imports. The atmosphere is relaxed, the layout is open. The food options consist of petite mains, and a large range of tasty snacks [and the best damn sourdough I’ve ever had]. The food is fitting for the wine on offer, and would recommend a visit. I read another review called out their pricing. I disagree. The per-glass price on selected wines is standard. The per-bottle price is slightly higher than most bottle shop wines; but they only deal premium natural wines, in which case the pricing is very reasonable. As for corkage, it adds maybe $10 extra on the price - standard for most shops that have a Drink Here / Drink Home price. If you don’t want to pay corkage, grab a bottle, head down to Juicy Boa Boa [BYO no charge] and fill your little belly with premium wine and Xiao Long Bao
