This pub has a few things going for it. Just at the start of Broadway (Central Station end), has a good mix of clientele, so you'll fit right in no matter what. It gets construction workers, Uni & Tafe students and locals plus some backpackers too. It only has the One main bar area, with seating and couple of pool tables. Serve all main types of beer and spirits, But also give students a discount. There is also an Asian flavoured restaurant, but you order at the bar and eat in as the bar. Typical pub eating. They sometimes have live music and if not, the background music is really good. In the area out back of the main bar is the Poker Machine area. The room has 2 levels, with the top glassed in area is also the smoking area inside the pub. They also have an ATM in a a side door/hallway near the female toilets. Lastly and one really good thing about the pub is that it is just a few meters outside Sydney's lockout laws, so can come anytime you want such as 3am, unlike the hotels inside the lockout area where you cant enter after 1am. So all in all, I would recommend this place as the staff and usually the customers as well.

Lovely little bar that seems to be frequented by the locals. The happy hour is good and runs a bit later than the rest. You can get a few Aussie beers for $5.50 until 7:30. There is a Thai street food place that serves from the bar as well. I had a bowl of beef noodle soup, it was really good and quite a bit cheaper than other places in the area.

Great pub for a casual hangout. Always fun environment and cheap beer. They also have Thai food till around 10pm, and it tastes awesome. Sometimes they also have live bands. It is my usual hangout place since last 4 year, and not disappointed.

One of the most relaxing bars to be in the sydney central area. Manager Kimi is one of the nicest people you will meet. The whole staff makes sure that everyone is well relaxed. Definitely a place worth coming for some drinks over some great tunes.

A great bar close to the central station as far as price of the combo meals is concerned. The Thai food though was a bit oily than normal but loved the visit overall.

Good bar, student priced beers. They also serve food but you can only pay by cash. Decor is a bit dated and doesn't really fit in with the fancy surroundings anymore. However, you can't beat their prices and friendly bar staff.

Excellent staff , customer service is beyond exceptional, only downfall is the music , for a place which advertises glorious bands on their wall there are no songs on the pubs music playlist! My proposition to the manager/owner is to have at least one album from each artist.

This is a good place to hang out and just chill. It wasn't a busy day when I went to this place so it was all good. And they have a billiard table too if you want to play. The food was quite good and they offer asian noodle bowls for a budget price. Good to keep your tummy warm in this winter season.

Amazing tap beer choices and Other spirits collection. Student offers on few beer, vodka and house wine till 12pm. If you are feel hungry while drinking, no problem.There are plenty of food options as snacks (e.g 5 dollar hot dogs.) Moreover, the location is near to UTS and UTS housing.Additionally, the staff are amiable and chill.

I would have given 4 stars, as it is a great place for after work beer especially if you don't feel like going anywhere fancy and spending a fortune. However, the downside is that whilst you can pay for drinks by card, you have to pay cash for food which doesn't really makes sense to me, especially nowadays when so many people don't carry cash anymore.

New 10 dollars jugs are pretty attractive and there is a nice fire inside to keep you warm during cold winter days. The food is aright but not amazing. Staff is friendly and they will do their best to help you out. However the bar is just on Broadway St and it gets pretty noisy when you want to have a glass outside. The bar needs renovation as it looks kind of oldish. It was alright but def not my favourite place

Cheap food, reasonable quality for the price. There was a bar fight when I was there on a weekday dinner hour. After the knock out, 10 minutes for police to arrive, and 20 minutes for the ambulance. Other than that, all good.

Ambience is good and bartenders are friendly. Nice pool table and TV make good entertainment. The Thai kitchen food is also cheap and good but had a horrible ome time experience with a Thai girl staff. Not only did she overcharge but when confronted about it, tried to blame it on us saying we ordered two of the same dishes. The reciept even said only one item was ordered. All this would've been fine but not only did she not acknowledge her fault but she rolled her eyes and reluctantly gave us our change back...save this one time horrible experience though, the pub as a whole is lovely and warm.

Let me first stress out how much I hate gambling and pokies, so I should be one of those avoiding sport bars and venues with VIP rooms. However, here the dining and drinking is separated from the cash graveyard properly, the bar food is awesome, the staff friendly and the price is reasonable. 9/10 for lunch or after work beers.

Happened to drop by Bar Broadway the other night, to my delight. Awesomely spacious venue with all the facilities you could ask of your local pub. With big screen, pool table, mobile phone charging station, this is a great place to relax and unwind or simply pass time and watch the foot traffic pass by. Friendly staff, free board games (jenga, checkers etc) and great value for money food menu (the $5 asian noodle soup was a delicious no brainer). Attire: super casual. Though I believe a dress code is enforced later in the evening.

This is a fun nightspot if you happen to live around the area and are in the mood for some relaxing time with your mates. With their pool tables, game machines and jukebox (yes, they have a jukebox), entertainment is guaranteed when you enjoy your drinks at very reasonable price range. There is also live music on certain nights and they open until 4 am. Time will fly and you won't even know it. 4 stars!

A pub that is just across the road from Sydney's STUPID NANNY STATE precinct, so you can come and go till 4am or 5am.... (plus I NEVER have seen a punch up here .... So the Lock Out Laws are a F**KING JOKE. More geared to push people to the Casinos. ANYWAY, the staff are nice, even the Bouncers. The crowd is mixed, ranging from tourists, UNI Students, blue collar workers. In fact all types of people go there including, (some Gay people - I have ended up going home with a guy from there more than once 《even though they would say they're straight ... I dont mind what the reason they make up in the morning, I'll run with it if it satisfies us both》. There is Asian Style pub food sold here, a few types of beer on tap or bottle and a limited range of wine, (by glass or bottle). There are 2 pool tables, juke box - but the pig's background music is usually very good. A stage for live entertainment that they have intermittently with a large screen behind for sports fans. That description is all about the front bar. Out through the doors near pool table takes you out to their Poker Machine area. Its split onto 2 levels, with the top level is enclosed in glass and their indoor smoking area. The pub is close to Central Station, Broadway Shopping Precint and the newly built and modernised design of Central Park Precinct. Well worth a look around even if you dont go to the pub. The only reason I DONT give this place 5 stars is I do sometimes lose on the poker machines.

Cheap beers, window seats so you can view the (sometimes attractive) passers-by. Bouncer is a friendly islander guy, fun to crack jokes with. It's close to Central station, so you can get home more easily if you get drunk.
