Very nice place with Darling Harbour views and outdoor seats. They do have unusual beers on tap but post covid all the prices have gone up. The staff was very nice, we ordered pulled beef nachos and onion rings to share and we both got really full. I really liked the wheat beer.

We came here for the NYE celebration. We paid the early bird General Admission priced at AUD 129 pp, which includes 4 hrs of roaming cocktails, wine & beer plus canapes, and a DJ on the decks. We were informed that it's best to arrive early as it is first in best dressed. It took them ~20 min to clear our table as it was used by other people. Once we finally sat at the table, we ordered our cocktails at the bar, and the canapes started coming. Despite the initial hiccup, we loved the food, the drinks, and the music. The food was spaced out, so by the time it's 10pm, you are on your 6 out of 8 canapes from the menu. The DJ played the latest music but had competition from the next door restaurant's live band, who played good old tunes. I couldn't help but dance to both musics :) Great experience overall, and attentive service throughout.

Came this afternoon for Christmas lunch. I think when you ve got a great spot in kings warf like that you need to maintain image. I like the food. I ordered roasted carrots 🥕,+ chicken. Portion is good.. ordered online. Wait is ok. All my other colleagues ordered steaks and burgers. They all seemed happy with the servings.No one complained. The let downs are : 1. Toilet is really stink 😒 Yuks.. it was just the smell of pee.. dried pee.. 🤮 I was so put off by this. 2. What's with a long face waiter? This afternoon I saw 3 female waitresses 2 were ok. Smiles and Happy to assist the customers. 1 waiter had a long face. She is the short small figure. Very thin. I think she is the smallest from the 3. I didn't get her name. I asked for takeaway box, she said ask downstairs, like she is annoyed I asked her. I watched her and noticed very quickly she was not smiling at all, not even welcoming to the patrons. Her attitude sucks.. if you read this. Please know that the customers notice when the waiter is rude or long faced. If you don't enjoy working there.. please don't work as a waiter.. I don't think it is your fortee. Get some other job that you enjoy!

Such a great spot here at Beer DeLuxe! We had plenty of food and drinks which where all so good and made really quickly! One of our drink orders didn’t come up on their machines so they shouted us a round of shots which was extremely kind and unnecessary but made us feel really good and really appreciate the high quality service! Great bar, good choice of Beers and other Alkies. Turned up on a Tuesday and for 15$ you can grab Beer, Burger and Chips. Fantastic combo. It’s right by the wharf and in Summer it’s beautiful. Bartenders have always been quick and served with a smile. Would recommend this place.

For anyone with a well developed craft beer palate should probably head to Bucket Boys at Darling Square or Bitter Phew at Darlinghurst. A world of craft beer breweries await if you can head to Newtown/ Marrackville area. Still a good place to introduce people to the world of non macro beer. Has a great food menu and a fantastic location.

From the start, the communication with Sophie and Sarah was fantastic and a pleasure to deal, making the planning easy. On the night, the staff were all extremely friendly and very accommodating. My only complaint is the bar staff, while friendly, they do not know their beers. I asked about the Barley Wine Beer and was told it's " like a barley wine beer". Not that insightful. I get there's lots of beers, however to know a few tasting profiles will help. Overall, great place. Definitely will be back

A very lively place for a weekend drinks with friends. The food is awesome and atmosphere is great. You can also enjoy sports in the large screen. Music is a bit loud so be prepared to lose your voice by speaking too loudly like I did :) overall a nice place to hangout. Booking is advised especially for Friday and Saturday otherwise you may be disappointed. Ordering and paying from your table online is great innovation, although may take a couple of attempts to get used to.

Service was faultless, food was very, very good. However, despite the location's name, the beer choice on tap was nothing exceptional. Draught beers were limited to lagers and pale ales. Yes, they possibly had bottled stouts, brown ales, kriek, weisse and the like: but I don't drink bottled beer. I guess I need to get a life or adapt. Or go to one of the many flourishing micro breweries in Sydney that offer a more eclectic draught beer range.

When you are ordering through their app, they have 'pre selected' the most expensive drinks, so be VERY careful you don't get caught out. This should be outlawed. My friends food order was wrong, all our chips were over salted, maybe deliberate to make us thirsty and order more drinks That's so wrong they're doing it.

We had amazing service from who I can only assume was the manager (a man in a leg cast), who fixed up a small mistake we had with great care. The Deluxe burger was really good, and the popcorn chicken came with some delicious pickles which were so good we ended up getting seconds! Nice fries and selection of beers. It's unusual to see staff go so out of their way to make the customers have a good experience, and for this reason I will definitely be back!

Look not the best or worst experience I’ve ever had. The menu is pretty uninspiring. Had the chicken wings, and they were tasty but cooked really inconsistently. Some of them had been prepared really nicely with no meat on the drumstick bone, others had clearly not been prepared at all. Ordered via the WR code and the first time they forgot one of our drinks. Prices are alright for on the wharf. Staff are nice.

They have a decent tap offering and a solid happy hour. The only downside is a good amount of these are macro offerings in the micro disguise. They also have a wide range of cans and bottles and tasty snacks and good lunch deals. Be wary on the cans and bottles as they tend to be more pricey and out of code (the cost probably helps this). We found a bottle that was from 2017 and a can that was best buy 2018. However frustrating this may have been I have to give credit to their beer buyer, Cam?, As he understood this was too far past due and exchanged our beer even though the substitute was more expensive. This is much appreciated and is what keeps us coming back.

I had my birthday party at the venue and my guests and I had a great time. There was a great variety of beers to try out as well as a great selection of food. The location of the venue is fantastic and with views of the water, it makes it an amazing location to have beers and a night out! I found the manager David, really easy to deal with and he assisted with booking out an area and ensuring my guests and I had an enjoyable evening. I highly recommend Beer Deluxe on King St Wharf to anyone who is looking for a night out in the city! I have since been back a number of times!

Food is fair priced, better than Small bar where I got charged $19.00 for a craft beer, disgusting Specials run Monday to Thursday, mostly $15.00. I normally get the burger and beer Today was especially awesome. I got served by the most cheerful lovely lady I have had the pleasure of being served by in a long long time Friendly, engaging, happy, just lifted up my whole experience, especially considering the rainy overcast day. If management are reading this, give the girl a pay bonus, I'll be back more frequently based on this outstanding customer interaction. I'm posting in real time, so you know when she was serving 😀

I didn't try any beers but they certainly had a wide selection; mostly craft beer. The food took so long to prepare! There was only one chef in the kitchen. No hands or cooks to be seen. This also begs the question to me as to how fresh the food is, but it's not really a place to get a meal.

I quite liked this bar. Lots of great beers on tap to choose from, as well as a great selection in bottles. Good selection of $5 happy hour beers also. And a great outdoor space to sit with your friends in the warm weather. Had a few appetisers to share with friends which were nice too. Great nachos which were very spicy thankfully (so used to people dumbing down the heat so it was good to get something hot that didn't rely on pickled jalapenos for a change) and homemade curly fries with a tasty dipping sauce. The staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable about the products they have so was hard to get a bad beer.

A fantastic selection of beers from most of the major styles with a handy 'Beer Bible' to help you make sense of it all. We had the Fixation IPA on draught and it was incredibly tasty especially on a humid evening. The food was also good with a selection of pizzas, burgers and sides which serve as a sort of tapas to go with the beers. Service was speedy but note this is more of a bar than a restaurant so it isn't full table service. With that said, the bar did clear out really early when we were there especially considering all of the surrounding bars just seemed to be getting warmed up for Friday night. I don't think its fair to hold crowd behaviour like that against a place so it hasn't affected my score but something to be aware of nonetheless.

Great location on the waterfront at Barangaroo. They serve food earlier in the evening but we were there late for drinks.
