Great place to stop for a rest and bite to eat. Started with the cheesy garlic bread and it is everything you want, just the right amount of garlic and perfectly melted cheese! I had the Bulga Burger, absolutely delicious and super filling with a generous serve of chips. Husband had the Chicken Schnitzel with Texas Topper, which was also amazing. Kids enjoyed the fish and chips, and had a great play on the play equipment. Clean amenities and lovely outdoor seating area. Taking the scenic route definitely has its perks!

Just stopped in for a quick meal whilst passing through. Cleanest place I’ve seen in a long time. Food portions were great and the food itself was fantastic. I’d rate it a 10 if Google let me.

We have taken to stopping at the generously sized free camp in Bulga for the night whenever we travel north with the caravan. After an interesting wander around the cemetery behind the church on our last trip, we took a short stroll around to the tavern. It was quickly clear why we see so many travelers call in each time we visit. The staff are friendly and the meals are great..! We'll certainly call in again on our next trip.

Nice tavern. Large menu. Daily specials. Good prices. Beer on tap. Waitress was very friendly. Shade cloth under cover area outside. Good for sun but not for rain. Playground for kids.

As we do the rounds of the RV camping spots we also patronise the local tavern or pub, as they are generally very supportive of the grey nomad demographic. I’m pleased to say the Bulga Tavern is no exception. We wandered the 5 minute walk to the tavern, ordered a cool beverage to enjoy while we waited for our meals. The Garlic Prawns were delicious and the Pork Ribs in Smoky BBQ sauce was divine. The meat just fell off the bone and the flavour amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Bulga Tavern for anyone wanting a relaxed meal in a genuine little town. The RV park is also really good. It’s a credit to forward thinking Councils when they allow grey nomads and others to camp in their shire. What goes around comes around. I will always patronise a town which is willing to have a go. Thank you Bulga, thank you Singleton Council and much appreciated the welcome we received from the Bulga Tavern 10/10.

Great little Tavern on the Putty rd at Bulga. Its hosts Lea and Warren are wonderful people working very hard to make people feel welcome. Food is great Pub food. Affordable food and beer. Nice aspect sitting out front. If going up this rd definitely would recommend stopping by.

A popular spot to stop after a good days riding. After maybe half a dozen stops here I would say the food is only average, but sitting out the front watching the menagerie of bikes and cars cruising past can be quite relaxing. Worth a stop.
