Comments of Camden Valley Inn
K. M.
Beautiful, a decorous space catering to old and young. Weddings and children, s small place where kids or adults can meet goats and chooks. The view across that valley at dawn and sunset are heart stopping. The rooms are elegantly appointed and everything else is provided for. Queen room with balcony looking over a pool. Staff are friendly, understanding that very tired travellers need rest and quiet. Food is exceptional. Bar staff and alcohol are peerless. Lots of different spaces, small and large depending on your needs. Set up extremely well for disabled access. Plenty of parking. Stress free visit. And I will certainly be returning.
If you are visiting Camden stay here. Price is absolutely reasonable
Enjoy Enjoy enjoy. I did

Great ambience and perfect place for brunch with a great view. We went during the holidays and there were plenty of tables available. Although the food was average and could really be better. It would make an ideal place if they have more and tasty food options.
Ordering through the app works well but it misses the personal touch. Will visit again for sure.
V. S.
They have it sorted, this is my favourite pub! Friendly staff, you can easily order food and cocktails from your table to be brought out to you. Love the vibe at this place - recommend for all ages
M. F.
One of the best all in one club in this area. Situated right next to brand new house estates, yet right next to country side look Valley. Huge sitting and hang around area, kids play area and some farm animal enough to keep you busy for half a day. Suitable for any social occasion including weddings. Definitely recommended venue for all age groups.

I recently held my son's christening in the function rooms at the Camden Valley Inn. The entire experience from booking the space right up until the event itself was seamless. Georgina was wonderful in helping to organise everything leading up to the event and the staff on the night were fantastic. The food was lovely and complimented by many of our guests. We had a wonderful night and will definitely host future events at the Camden Valley Inn.
M. D. S.
Great family friendly venue with a playground at the back and animals for the kids to see. Food was good and easy to order via QR code. Do recommend booking ahead as they get very busy. Pram friendly. Parking lot available.
D. J.
We stopped here on our way through and what a great stop it was. The Reno's do this place justice. We will visit again. Top for young players tho is that they close up the bar and tab early on a Sunday so if you are keen to kick on either stay a different night or g up the bar staff for some take aways for in the room.
D. G.
Really great atmosphere and food. Love that you can order from tables instead of having to line up. Would have given 5 stars but drinks were flat and can't order single softdrinks from table... and the line for the bar is huge.
M. B.
Great place for all family events throughout the year. There's kids play area.
The food is average, the service is good, friendly staff.
Definitely going back again.
D. K.
Love this place so much! Been there so many times on Friday nights but the last we went on a Friday night didn’t feel that good, young adults everywhere and felt like something was off even two policemen were walking around!!
Please don’t ruin the atmosphere for us.
G.
Great afternoon. We had a large party (of 45 people). Staff very friendly and helpful. Main courses very nice, large servings too. Recommend the Guiness pie. We were seated outside but it was comfortable with the space heaters on. Would definitely recommend.
L. V.
Breakfast next door was A1! Shame you don't offer buffet. Four stars as needed to BYO pillows. 3 guests in one room and only supplied x1 toiletries. Else clean room and manicured garden surrounds. Though not your fault, changing lanes after that roundabout to access your driveway was hairy.
S. S.
I have been to CVI twice before and it was a fairly pleasant experience which is why we returned a third time.
We booked for 12.30 pm, 4 people and 203 was the table offered inside which we wanted, their was another table of 2 and rest of the tables were empty. We received our meals and started to eat, it's then we started to notice the flies circling, about a dozen or so.
This meant that we were constantly shooing away flys, it was hard to keep up and trying to eat, flies landed everywhere, so much so two people out of the four lost their appetites.
Hopefully next time we might have a better experience .

*WEDDING REVIEW*
Camden valley inn is the most amazing venue for a wedding. From the very start of booking to the very end after the event, the team have been absolutely amazing.
The entire booking process and the way they treated myself and my wife was absolutely amazing. Especially with COVID, they were incredibly accommodating in all aspects and were extremely flexible and understanding of the forever changing restrictions, which was truly such a huge blessing and made the lead up to the wedding extremely smooth. I really commend Kayla, the general manager for her hospitality and how CVI is run by her because we were so incredibly happy with the staff as well. Our coordinators throughout the process, Rebecca, Georgina and on the night, Angus, were so kind and answered all of our questions and concerns, reassuring us the entire time.
And of course, the location. We used the valley view room which did have an amazing view of Razorback, all of CVI is extremely aesthetic and perfect for a wedding ceremony (if you opt for ceremony as well as reception) and for photography and videography. It’s the perfect size and has a private bar in the room. The aesthetic inside is extremely beautiful. There’s also an abundance of parking spots and the on site accomodation was a huge bonus for our guests to stay. All of these aspects were extremely important to us and CVI ticked all the boxes. Might we add that the rooms for accomodation were AMAZING. We absolutely enjoyed the bridal suite and are grateful that CVI had organised this for us.
Another huge bonus is obviously the food and drinks, we had multiple compliments to the menu from our guests who were extremely satisfied with their meals and drinks. A lot of our guests were so surprised when cocktails were also included for the drinks (everyone loved the cocktails the most). Myself and my wife have also never been to a venue that offered this. Because the food was so good, my wife and I made sure we prioritised to eat because we didn’t want to miss out (haha).
Overall, like we said, CVI ticked all of our boxes in what we wanted for a venue. We definitely will be coming back in the future and will 100% recommend them for other future weddings or events.
Once again, thank you so much to Kayla and her great team. We are so so grateful!

First visit here since the renovations, it’s been a while.
Love how open and airy the place feels. Love the grassy area and the view is to die for.
The food was good. Nothing special but was nice.
The kids outdoor play area is great however the kids did seem to get hurt going down the slide. I think there might be joins with screws sticking out or something that was hurting them and they no longer wanted to go on it.
Staff are nice. Lovely vibe.
j. p.
Great atmosphere and usually great food. However.......today was not one of those days! Having had many enjoyable experiences here in the past we took good friends for lunch today, singing the virtues of CVI.
My wife ordered her steak medium but it came out bleeding. Mistakes can happen, so we calmly sent it back for another hit of the flame. Back it came exactly the same, still bloody.
I take exception to someone in the kitchen making the executive decision as to how I am to eat my meat. If that is to be the rule, then what point is there in offering a choice?
We didn't send it back a second time, just worked her way around that which was edible and left the rest. When questioned by the waitress collecting the plates what was wrong, we told her. She promised to show it to the kitchen and get back to us. Never saw her again.
Herein lies the problem in paying up front for something before you get it. After you pay it appears you own it and it becomes your problem.
Regrettably bad news travels far quicker than good news any day, which is certainly in this case food for thought
C. M.
I love Camden Valley Inn! It’s such an amazing place to eat and have a few drinks with friends. The staff members are lovely especially Chris, James and Bailey who are always lovely and hospitable!!
J. W.
Friendly helpful staff. Food was lovely. Visited there for a private function in the little cottage that is away from the main building. Only concern was there was no QR code to scan.
P. Z.
Went there for a friend's birthday. We were in the cottage just outside of the main building. Very cosy environment. Unfortunately the main came out a little late but the food was great.
J. S.
I had my wedding here on 24/10/2021. I would highly recommend Camden Valley Inn, if you want stunning views which equal stunning pictures. Great food and great service. I would also like to make a huge shout out to Jaime Cook, she was the manager in charge of our day, she was fantastic, and I cannot thank her enough for her help. Just sad we are almost a month past, and a wedding is only a once in a lifetime thing, because thanks to Camden Valley Inn my day was perf
T. I.
Venue was lovely, good atmosphere and loved being outside with the view. Good area for kids. Service was fair, meals bought out at separate times and long wait at the bar. Food was average.
S. S.
For the quality of food is pretty overpriced, lamb shanks were good, chicken Parma was dryer than old boot leather, seafood linguine came out cold in what could be described as a soup or broth, either way went straight through…
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
N. F.
Fantastic pub food. As always, the CVI Guinness pie is great, and the pumpkin pasta meal "Pumpkin Agnalotti" in burnt butter sauce with walnuts was seriously AWESOME - TRY IT!!!.
T. C.
Food was delicious but booking a table for two hours and had to find another table to sit at , don't like that idea where you book at table and you had to leave that table after the two hours ,it still is a beautiful place for lunch.
C. F.
What a great Function area we had for our Work Xmas party, overlooking the garden through large glass windows. 1st time back since the renovations...Food was excellent & service very good. ....everyone had a great time !
M. v. d. V.
Went for my husband’s birthday. Great location but salmon portion was very small for the price. Moreton Bay Bug sliders also quite tasteless.
Arancini is excellent!
This is our local pub and the decor is modern and suits a variety of age groups. The outdoor area is also excellent for children with extensive grounds.
L. m.
Nice place to dine in, would be great if a toddler area be added into the unused space next to play ground and some water play and river run for summer play when the slide is too hot to be used
N. A. R.
The restaurant was great, the staff very friendly and the food serve good size and delicious. Well done!
D. M.
Love the atmosphere. The food is always amazing and the staff very pleasant.
J. D.
Food was great but unfortunately our group could not have the coffee included in our group booking due to defective urn
E. H.
We had the pleasure of being able to get married at Camden Valley Inn on 19th November. Rebecca and her team went to great lengths to make the whole experience an absolute pleasure. No question was ever too difficult to deal with which made nailing our event plan a breeze. The venue was superb, the food amazing ( despite a number of dietary challenges to cater for), the staff service friendly and efficient. Angus was our event supervisor and went out of his way to ensure our event went without a hitch. Our guests had the best time and so did we. We would highly recommend anyone considering CVI as a great venue option for their wedding or special event
J. S.
Food is a bit pricey, but usually made well. Can get hot under the undercover area, and no one seems to know where the on switch is for the fans. Good vibe and well designed but.
T. K.
Amazing food, top staff, beautiful setting. Great for families.
J. B.
The big breakfast was very pricy, $26! And that's without a coffee. I think somewhere around $18 is more reasonable. I think a family of 4 should not have to pay over $100 to go out for breakfast.
W. K.
Food is really good, well priced.
Beer is good, alittle over priced.
Staff are friendly.
Over all a nice place.
J. J.
This is a high quality venue that provides excellent customer service, food and beverage service. Highly recommend this venue for casual dining and or functions with abundant spaces available.
B. T.
Nice place. Food was very nice.
Haven't been there for around 40 years and I live 12 mins drive from there now.
H.
I cannot explain how breathtakingly beautiful this place is. I set up a proposal located within the grounds of Camden Valley Inn and it was absolutely perfect. Rebecca went above and beyond to meet me, walked me through the location and ensured that I was familiar with the details of my event. I would highly recommend to all, no matter what event you're planning, this is the place to be. Thank you so much once again! @camdenvalleyinn @personaliseyourday
R. d. B.
The Moreton Bay bug sliders are exquisite - a delicate balance of everything and the bugs were treated with respect not overcooking. The perfect size of everything including the rolls which had the right amount of crunch!
W. A.
Beautiful place to stay, great meals as well friendly staff just perfect
G. P.
Camden Valley Inn is a nice & relaxing place to catch up with family & friends. It has a relaxed atmosphere & ambience. Staff are very friendly & accommodating. Recommended.
C. S.
Great food and beverages. Love the outdoor seating and vibe :)
P. D.
Camden Valley Inn - great location, lovely views of the valley escarpment, nicely renovated, plenty of outdoor seating, kids play equipment and the best pub food around.
J.
Such a great place for a drink. Food is good but the location and view into the countryside is better.
C. M.
Gorgeous location, amazing food, and staff are super helpful. Excellent spot for events big or small.
C. N.
This place never stops its always busy .
I went there with my family on Sunday for lunch everything was hot & fresh ,bice selection of beer wines & cocktails
C. H.
Lovely atmosphere, great food.
Bar staff badly need training on how to pull a pint of Guinness though.
B. M.
Quaint little cottage which gave a real home away from home feel, the beds were soft, the towels where human sized which was a nice change from your normal midget sized hotel towel, the feel was warm and cosy. Even though they are clearly undergoing some work on the grounds nearby I didn't hear a peep from the workers or digging machinery. Breakfast at the inn was delicious and the coffee a warm welcome to a chilly Camden morning. Only improvement could be the shower, the hot water system seemed to lack a bit of oomph on the warmth scale and especially in the colder months this is a necessity, oh and some milk for the coffee and it would be perfect. Apart from those small suggestions it was an absolutely beautiful stay. Reminiscent of an English cottage tucked away in the serenely beautiful Camden Valley.
M. R.
Great food after a hot air balloon ride. Bacon Eggs Benedict and Big Breakfast meal
N. G.
Once again a great meal Good service Easy to book in and order meals. Overall a great experience
G. H.
I went to the Camden Valley Inn for breakfast with friends. Wow what a fantastic setting. The food (breakfast) was out standing and the coffee really hit the spot. There are heaps of out door tables and there is also heaps of indoor dining. There are play equipment for the kids and goats to feed. I can't wait to go back again.
S. L.
Great place to eat, food was great, wood fire oven, family friendly and great for the children too, with good play area
j. c. m.
Lunch at Camden Valley Inn was nice, good food and customer service was good especially @Allisa, she was very attentive👍🙂
Y. Y.
Lovely food and choices. Ambience is also great.
Some staff were a little standoffish and not very welcoming.
I also almost fell down the stairs outside with my pram as they were hard to see. May be worth putting something on them to stop others falling down them.
S. C.
Always a lovely environment always love coming back to this place and the food is absolutely amazing!
P. W.
Great service and beautiful food . Lamb shanks the meat fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. Awesome
S. Q.
Since the upgrade, this place has a great ambiance. Whether sitting inside, outside, near the fire, there’s so many options for comfortable dining. Food was wonderful. Even one vegan option for those few of us who require it.
P. D.
Beautiful set up. Multiple different areas to enjoy your drinks or delicious pub favourites from the kitchen. Staff were polite and the service quick during my visit. A great place to visit.
J. P.
A beautiful marriage of old and and new. The modern dining areas are comfortable and open, offering great views over the rolling Camden hills. The food is exceptional and digital ordering means you don't even need to leave the table. Will be visiting again soon! Highly recommended.
M. L.
Excellent place for family and friends.
Great atmosphere, love the set up!
Needs to cater for younger kids in the play area, who don't climb. Swings , see-saws and smaller slippery dips would be awesome!
Other then that great job !!!!
R. L.
Love the renovations & very happy that the historic look of the pub was still maintained in the process (especially inside).
The outdoor space is large & quite comfortable. Great place to take your kids for lunch as they have a petting zoo and a nice playground nearby the outdoor seating.
They have an extremely large menu, that is good but I think if they reduced a it a little they would be able to pay closer attention to the details of each meal that crosses the pass.
They have a few wines on tap, which is a great idea but the options of cocktails are limited (especially jugs for sharing) and they will not serve them over the bar, you must be sitting at a table with a number which kinda sucks
C. I.
The last time we came here was just before Covid struck, in February 2020. It was packed and crazy busy.
Went for a family celebration yesterday and it was fantastic - the staff were friendly, service was quick and the food was great - all the things you want when you bring ten kids ranging in age from 5 weeks to 10 years old! We were accommodated nicely, plenty of space and received a really polite time alert when we were nearing the end of our two hour time slot.
R. L.
Large venue, plenty of seating but has been very busy when I've visited.

Whenever we go to CVI always great atmosphere and food
l. D.
Great place to go. Enjoyed the food. Family orientated and child friendly.
J. R.
Excellent food. Great service and very pleasing staff.
S. E.
The place looks amazing since the reno and seems to be massize- lots of different areas with plenty of seating. The food wasn't anything amazing and the range of tap beers was pretty limited, just had the usual house beers nothing fancy. If you go on a Sunday (even on a long weekend) be prepared to be kicked out promptly at 10pm and with no toilets available.
J. M.
Nice food, good service but not much shelter when it rains
S. C.
My favourite place to go, get there before the crowds for a perfect breakfast and short wait time.
A. B.
I stayed here as I was driving to the Southern Highlands at night and was too tired to drive the whole way in the rain. I drove around and around in the dark looking for it. I had put the wrong address into google maps. I rang hotel reception from the side of the road and they were so lovely and patient with their directions. When I finally got there the receptionist came out into the reception parking to wave me in.
My photos will tell their story. Perfect presentation. Gigantic rooms. Beautiful bed linen. Massive beds. Spa bath in room. The Camden Valley Inn is like a little village. Their bistro was bustling. I walked the 150 metres to order food ( no room service ) and the queue was so long I decided to just return to my room and order pizza. When I asked if I could get a pizza delivery the receptionist said very kindly she would have a pizza sent to my room.
It was delicious. Straight out of the Pizza oven.
A fantastic place to stay and or dine at.
D. R.
Good food selection including wood fired pizza. Excellent beverage selection including on tap range. Heaps of different seating options for small and large groups. Sensational kids area and play area
K. R.
Such a cute, hipster-style property. The food was great. Such a nice location, even on a cool day. We sat on the veranda to eat, then walked down and patted the goats. It would be a great venue for a birthday lunch or a wedding. I can't wait to come back!
M. C.
Large, sprawling inn set next to the Camden Valley Way. It has been renovated since the 21 years I've been in Camden (of course the inn is older than 21 years). Their outdoors area is a major draw for families and great for other celebrations.
Very busy during the weekend, best to book ahead, and they keep a strict two-hour limit per booking/table,unless it's a function.
Good pub fare and their staff are very friendly.
B. F.
Came to check out the new updated CVI, we were a bit apprehensive from all the bad reviews but decided to check it out anyway. The fit out and location look great, We made a booking earlier in the week, somehow it didn’t go through, the manager quickly came out and sorted a table for us. Reading the reviews I wasn’t expecting much of the food and service. The food we ordered was great, came out quick, both meals came out at the same time. It was lunch time on a Tuesday after Easter, it was still busy. Worth giving it a try.
S. S.
Make sure you make a reservation. Great atmosphere and setting both inside and outdoor. Staff were attentive and helpful. Menu and the variety for both food and drinks are plentiful. Decent parking available. Give it a go though make a reservation or your experience may be hindered.
A. W.
Mother’s Day breakfast, strangely enough not what you would call overly busy but service was still a bit slow. Some of the meals were lukewarm on arrival at the table, and two meals missed altogether despite being ordered with 3 others using the new ME&U App. Got the hurry up with 30 minutes to go despite those meals still not having arrived after 1.5 hrs. The staff were trying their best but unfortunately not memorable for the right reasons.
S. M.
The spa room is top quality & worth the extra spend. The room has a balcony that overlooks the pool & is a 30 second walk to the pub next door. The pub is sensational & brilliantly designed to accommodate lots of people in comfort. The decor is stunning, the staff are incredibly friendly & the food is excellent. We loved our stay here & would recommend the Camden Valley Inn to anyone looking for a nice getaway at any time of the year.
C. L.
We had the best pizzas in Sydney ! Also the funniest and most welcoming pizzamaker Stefano..He gives the warm italian vibes needed to the place! The ambience is beautiful but needs to be a bit more covered up when is cold! Great beers ! And amazing view ! A must go!
K. D.
Fabulous meal at Camden Valley Inn with pretty good historic charm. With a Covid safe environment, the Inn is a mix of old-world charm and new or upgraded facilities. The meals were easily ordered and paid for directly at the tables using the QR code provided at the table. The meals were delivered very soon after ordering and were hot, well presented and delicious. Well done. Don't forget to take a moment to visit the goat enclosure.
d.
My first time there and I loved it.
Fantastic layout, loved the setup inside and out, beautiful scenery, cosy, great atmosphere, food was really fresh and beautiful, staff were friendly and the mocktails were yummy too..
Highly recommend and well worth the visit.
Can’t wait to go again!!
M. D. M.
beautiful scenery of a day and night. kids playground for older kids. lots of running room outside for the little ones to explore and goats to see and pet.
huge inside and outside areas. sheltered areas.
staff are always miserable looking unfortunately which is a shame but maybe its a young worker thing?
food is decent.
large parking area and easy access for prams and wheelchair.
a lovely pretty place to experience.
G. C.
Nice place, good food, you can stay, a small kids play area, helpful staff
G. J.
My family has been a few times in recent months and the food is always good. Steaks are nicely done, finishing sauces are punchy, pizza has a wonderful base and sauce, salads are fresh, Portugese chicken is full of 'wow' and all servings are quite generous. it's a bit of a drive for us to get there so we treat it as an 'occasion' place but it's worth the effort. Definitely book ahead.
A. C.
Had a great night out with two girlfriends. Food was great. So nice to be out again love the Camden valley inn.
B. D.
Absolutely amazing!! This place has it all, such a beautiful atmosphere, with delicious food!! You have to try the ribs, they will melt in your mouth!! All while the kids enjoy themselves on the playground and don't forget about the goats to keep them entertainined... and the great service tops it all off.
This has definitely become a new favourite for me!!
W. B.
Efficiency was impressive! It was extremely busy but they served out our food in good time. Love how you can order and pay from your table with the QR code!
n.
Nice atmosphere. Decent selection of drinks on tap.
Family friendly with the outdoor kids playground.
I was let down by my burger though. The caramelised onions tasted like that came from an old jar. You would think they can cook some fresh for the price.
a. m.
Fantastic place to have a delicious meal. With different sections to be able to tuck away in a private alcove or to be merry in the arched coutyard, this place has something for everyone. Occasionally though when there are big groups and events, service can be impacted. Last night there was only one person designated to make cocktails, so it took 30-35 minutes to get drinks. Also, apart from one young man, most of the wait staff need training in customer and food service. One young man had two orders of jugs but only 2 glasses so had to wait for glasses for our drink. Another young man was asked about the wait for the drink orders, said I don't know without a hint of a smile or offer to find out. This same young man was observed chewing his fingernails on the way to deliver a meal to another table. With a bit more effort in friendliness with the staff, this place would be 5 stars.
A. G.
It was just a great place and convenient for our Grandson's wedding.
M. B.
Amazing atmosphere! Delicious food and drinks! Highly recommend the sticky date pudding.... OMG!
Highly suitable for families and any functions, anybody really. Love for date nights!
R. H.
The venue is beautiful, I've been multiple times and never had any issues except for today. We got seated at a 4 person table when the booking was for 15 people, I asked to be seated in the shade but we had to sit in the sun because of the table issue. The cocktails were great, but took 40mins to an hour for them to make them and bring them to our table every time we ordered some.
J. B.
Went here as part of Balloon Aloft experience.
Staff at Camden Valley Inn were awesome
M. G.
Went for lunch, the food was good with a nice atmosphere. However the staff all seemed unhappy and unwilling to help with anything. We asked if we could move our two tables together and the waiter just told us they were busy so he would see, although never came back.
I brought a cake for my Grandmother's birthday, when I called they said I didn't need to bring a plate to serve it on they would do all that. They just brought plates over and we had to serve the cake from the container and light the candles ourselves. We were then repeatedly warned that our 2 hour time limit was almost over and we would have to leave soon. I was surprised there was still a time limit seeing as most restrictions have been eased, not sure if it was COVID safe or just so they could have more customers in and out - maybe this is why the staff were so busy and unhappy. I just expected a bit more from a quality establishment.
Left feeling rushed and disappointed with the day and wished I had taken my Nan somewhere else to celebrate.
M. B.
Atmosphere here is amazing. There are so many sections you can disappear into and have an intimate conversation or be out in the open near a fire place sinking beers and cocktails.
The issue i have at this location is food. Ordered a premium steak (Dry Aged Sirloin) and it was terrible, the steak was completly ruined. It was tough dry and tasteless. My son had the steak sandwich and it tasted as if they pumped a whole lot of chilli into this. No where on the menu did it state spicy, and for a person that can eat spices/chilli etc it was hot. I would only order from pizza menu.
M. M.
Fabulous venue...large open exterior spaces for
warmer weather with cosy old style interiors including a fire place for cooler weather . Areas to keep children occupied with pets. Good food, cocktails and wine list. Highly recommend a visit.

First visit since renovations. Really nice upgrade and food was good.
A. P.
All excellent - food, service, set up and location.
D. W.
Had the Best time with family 🙏♥️🥳 & great food for everyone 🤟😁
D. M.
Food was lovely and venue is great but service was bad. Place seemed understaffed. Food was served by basically being thrown on the table and then the waiter ran off. Also our meals came out and we finished them before ever receiving our drinks (water and soft drink) which we ordered at the same time.
S. A. (.
Wow. In a word. Haven't been since the renovations, but can only say that the extraordinary amount clearly spent was WELL worth it. The place looks amazing, the food great, and the self ordering from the table... Genius. 11/10 would recommend!
K. G.
Gorgeous luxurious decor. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Great food and portion sizes are large and the views are very relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! We will be back.
G. S.
Loved the renovations. Food tasty, modern & generous servings. Mostly friendly & experienced staff.
Sitting areas had a bit too loud music hence difficult to chat without yelling
M. C.
Can be busy. Best to book so you're not disappointed.
K. F.
Great portion size and good food, little on the pricey side but great for kids. Good play area and animals to stroke. We will definitely be back. Lovely outdoor area too.
s. h.
Had breakfast there couple times in last month, the place has been renovated and looks great and well set out, the staff are friendly and very helpful and the food is great also. Totally recommend. Was there again yesterday 27.2.21 for our 21st anniversary with my kids and they loved it also and loved the smashed avo they had for breakfast
R. C.
First time visit with my family and we loved it. A Monday night but still felt the buzz. A great place to enjoy the night! Food was great too so best of both world.
k. k.
Ok
No hot water for coffee or tea
Food ok

The food and venue here have gone up a notch! Great renovations, lovely views over the farms and we'll priced meals. One of the nicest pub burgers I've had in a long time, especially at $20 with fries.
J. T.
The portions For seniors were far too big but the food was delicious
M. A.
Great food and atmosphere. Something for everyone.
M. A.
A great inn so far, excellent food, friendly service... good place to kids, big garden to enjoy with the little ones and beautiful beer garden to enjoy with big ones... excellent for families. All areas are clean and prepared for covid restrictions. A big thank you for staff. Highly recommended.
L. K.
Went there to celebrate my birthday with family & best friends for dinner. First time i have been at night and the place looks so beautiful with all the pretty festoon lights. The meal was divine & the service was great, very friendly service especially the staff who greet you at the door. Highly recommend & will be back.
D. T.
Very nice place to stay. The Bistro facilities right next door are great. It caters for families and any size group of people. Food was great. Only thing they could improve is the coffee.
N. A.
My wife and I stayed at the Camden Valley Inn for a Valentines weekend and absolutely loved our stay. The room was perfect, clean, tidy, and exceeded our expectations. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was delicious! We will stay here again and will recommend to others!
We did hot air ballooning with Balloon Aloft and were glad we stayed here the night before for our 5am start.
Thank you for the enjoyable weekend and amazing food! 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A beautiful venue with awesome views. Very busy place so need to book. We had a group of 30 most people enjoyed their meals unfortunately our steak sand was cold.
K. S.
Hadn’t been here for awhile so thought we’d go again as we always liked the place. We turned up and the place had been totally renovated. You can see why the owners had done such a big renovation and it was very nice but for us that old world charm had gone and had been replaced by a slick large eating hole that you see in many places. Still nice we thought we would have lunch. Ordered the cheese, onion and bacon cob for entre - a simple dish that I make at home and was disappointed with the flavour of such a simple thing to make. I had a Caesar salad next, nothing was cut up big chunks of lettuce, huge croutons and a hard boiled egg, the whole point of a soft poached egg is that it gives the salad a warm emulation, sauce was nice. My husband had the crispy skin chicken with mash veg and a cream mustard sauce, again was ok but tasted like antiseptic. I am sure many people will like the new look and menu but sadly i dont think we will be back, sorry
M.
Great place to eat, hotel rooms are fantastic though if you want a hot shower at night, dont bother. Cold weather cools the hot water as it comes down the pipe to your room and you end up with lukewarm water out of the hot tap at best.
S. J.
Another great time and a great dinner such a brilliant place had my first dining experience upstairs. American pale ale cold and great. Great service great Bar people great food cannot fault. During this covid-19 time. I've recommend that seafood buffet for two, I've had it three times now. 24 oysters would have finished off the night to a tea but they had none.
s. e.
Food was good, however, had the ribs which were great tasting, but arrived at the table luke warm, and by the time i had finished were cold. Another person with me had the pie, which was hot but the mash and peas were also only just warm.
M. M.
Dined in from 6:45pm on Thursday, 7th January 2021.
TL;DR: The exerpience was Middling at best.
The venue itself is beautiful. The renovations really shine through, the dining areas are nice, the main bar is beautifully done. If I was reviewing this place purely on aesthetics it would get a solid 5 stars!
Unfortunately, we are also talking about the food, and the service. The bar staff were exceedingly unprofessional, only one of them stopped short of being rude (and was actually quite nice). I'll admit the beer was cold and the wifes wine, the house moscato, was quite nice.
The next problem was the service. The "Maître d" was a glorified tour guide, simply telling us "Your table is to the right". Directions to our table. That was it. No information as to the establishment, nothing about the food or beverages. While I understand the venue is essentially a pub, a little more from the front of house would go a long way.
It keeps going... unfortunately. The hard copy menus we had were completely different. We ended up ordering online... while sitting at our table. Because we had no idea where to go (that darned Maitre d letting the team down again) to order our food. It at least seems the website had the right details, thankfully.
My second favourite part was that our starters arrived cold. I mean, barely above room temperature. Of course, no one was paying attention when we tried to wave them down to highlight this. We decided to eat it anyway, as we were both starving. Thankfully the food itself was acceptable. The cob loaf tasted like packet mix, and though, while cold, and congealed, it was acceptable. The star of our evening was the mixed plate. The arancini were quite good, the potato skins were great, but the squid... the squid was divine! If our whole meal had been like that, it would have been one of the better meals I'd had in the last 12 months!
Oh, but it gets even better. The timing of the wait staff is impeccable. well less than 5 minutes after we'd gotten our entree, our mains come out. We've each had a couple of mouthfuls at this point and the waitress says "Oh, can we clear a space?". Both my wife and I just looked at her dumbfounded.
When we finally got our mains, thankfully my wife ordered the CVI pie, which was actually quite good. If it had of been freshly cooked (our meals had clearly been stuck under a heat lamp the whole time we at our starters), it would have been a very good dish.
My main though, was the worst part of the whole experience. My "dry aged" steak was essentially one big piece of gristle. Again, no one around to highlight this too. It was also, of course, cold, and thus tough as nails. I'm not sure how they cooked it either, as it was basically anemic, with the weakest grill marks i've ever seen, and by the flavour, clearly not dry aged.
We are going to give this place another chance, because some foodie friends of ours rave about it. I'm really hoping we just got them on a bad night. I can say for sure though, we won't be ordering a starter next time, and I won't be ordering a steak!
Atmosphere: 4/5 - great views, not too loud. A place I could really see sitting down and enjoying a few beers.
Furnishings: 3/5 - The actual furnishing were quite aesthetically pleasing, but the chairs were very uncomfortable.
Bar: 2/5 - The service was bordering on unacceptable and the selection was quite pathetic.
food: 2/5 - While there were a couple of stand outs, overall, unimpressed.
Service: 1/5 - The whole crew needs to be retrained. I understand the implications of the current pandemic in being able to communicate effectively with people, but their ability to work together and their general attitude towards customers was not what I would expect from such an establishment.
J. W.
Excellent service and food at resenable prices
B. J.
CVI hosted my wife’s 50th birthday last night. I couldn’t recommend the Tudor Room enough . It was cozy , warm and well set up . Hosted by both James and Jamie , their service was great . They were attentive at the right times and left us alone when needed . The only let down was the bar service through the window , but it was very busy . Again , the owners of CVI have done a great job with the place , but I think it really looks gorgeous in the evening. 4.9 stars .
F. O.
The staff and food and ambience were great. Few ladies really nice however today made re-live my traumatic racist experiences
We were all there to celebrate IWD but it felt like a.mockery with the majority of women clicking and refusing to connect or courteous. We have a long way in multiculturalism and awareness
L. G.
Lovely place, friendly staff. I had the Barra with mango and Jasmine rice. It was very nice but the balance was off. Hardly any mango and my rice might have had a hint of Jasmine just.
R. F.
Love this place. Lots of places to sit inside and out.
M. H.
Bar service was appaling and extremely slow hence the bar and food ordering line was long and continually in the dining area, which also did not cater well for social distancing regulations.
The food was nice, and apart from the above the atmosphere was very welcoming and enjoyable.
S. A.
Staff are great n helpful n friendly food tastey n sooo good highly reccommend this place
S. T.
We attended a Birthday party in one of the functions rooms on Saturday night and we were really impressed with this pub, the facilities and the customer service. The room where the party was held was spacious with adequate tables and chairs, a great dance floor, a well stocked bar and an amazing view. The catering provided was canape styled food served by the staff and there was more than enough to eat, with lots of variety. The canapes were fresh and tasty, we particularly enjoyed the sliders and the sushi. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer service. We danced the night away. A great place for a function.
O. R.
Clientele tend to be profoundly white, boring and bougie - so not the place for meeting cool homies unless status conscious suburbanites are your crowd. However, staff are super lovely, booze is good and reasonably priced and the food is fantastic.
Suggest sitting outside, enjoying the treats, and ignoring the hoard of 20 girls with all with straightened hair and a same-but-different floral frock (or the 20 footy dudes with the same pale t-shirt and mullet).
M. S.
My family and I spent Valentine's day here for lunch. I had mentioned to the receptionist that we had a 3 mth old baby with us and she arranged a room exclusively for us. As we were unable to be together for Christmas due to Covid, it was perfect. The service was great and the food was delicious. All the staff were under the pump on such a busy day and they were pleasant and very obliging . Thank you all for a memorable day with my family. They traveled from Kellyville and Dee Why. We will definitely be back!!!
b. E.
Came for a coffee, left with a smile. Renovations have given this place a whole fresh new vibe and the kids playground is amazing. Great views, friendly staff and the food smelt so tempting!
M. H.
Great place. Very relaxed atmosphere. Playground for the kids is fantastic. Outdoor seating is amazing. You will need to take some Aeroguard.
G. T.
Loved the place and the food. Great pricing and over all just a great atmosphere to be in.
It does get super busy so walking in would be an 'enter at own risk' we were lucky to get a table because someone who reserved one a week prior did a no show. You can book a table but it does have to be atleast a week in advance and it's in 3 hour seating time slots I think.
Only let down was the dessert, was great portion for a sticky date but way way too sweet, couldn't finish it (I have a big sweet tooth as well). Mum had the crumble and that was okay, nothing special either. So maybe we will stick to a good old nutella pizza 😂
Loved it so much I'll be back this Sunday with a lot more of us.
D. B.
The upgrades look amazing, my food was awesome 1/2 rack ribs. Very busy though need to book.
Could do with lights in lower carparks.
B. J.
Came here for my birthday dinner tonight and the waitress/host Ayla gave amazing service from the moment my family and I stepped in the place!
Any issue or question that needed solving, she was happily there to help out with a smile and cheery attitude. Especially with my confusing vegan questions I had. 🍃
Love friendly and helpful service like this and especially from a local joint! 🥳❤️
L. E.
This venue has undergone extensive renovation and is now a great indoor/ outdoor area for enjoying good food and great views across beautiful countryside. There is a well stocked bar with wine ,beers spirits and cocktails. There is off street parking and adjoins a beautifully restored
motel area. .
M. M.
Stayed for 4 nights just before Christmas and it was a lovely room. The bathroom bin wasn't empty when we arrived and no-one came and did anything, and no-one cleans your room. The pool in the motel area is nice as well. Lovely restaurant with baby goats for your younger kids and a large play area for older kids. Lovely food for everyone but at the higher prices. Great service in the restaurant.
D. N.
Plenty of open spaces to drink and chat. I had the best Guiness pie....melt in your mouth
R. R.
Great place to go for a meal and beer.
Awesome atmosphere and great veiw.
Only downside is they have the Slowest Bar in Australia. So painfully slow everytime im here.
Wish they would fix this.
It would make the visit more enjoyable.
My wallet loves the slow service though. 😂🍺
s. a.
Its a beautiful place with a really good customer service. However the food was very poor. The rice was not cooked. My daughters chicken was burnt. Its too pricey for that quality of food.
B. T.
I would give it 3 stars but due to the Staff being very professional it deserves 4 Stars. We ordered a sharing starter which came out a fair wait. Just had 1 bite of the starter our mains arrived which we had returned under the kitchen light via or waiter, which was so apologetic. Of course the mains returned cold which we could handle. But my Steak was tuff and riddled with Veins ( medium rare cooked) I could hardly cut or eat it. So we returned and I choose another cut of steak. This was our first visit here and even though the start wasn't really impressive, the ambience and staff are excellent . We will give it another try one day.
J. T.
Nice scenery and ambience. Expensive drinks though.
K. M.
Very impersonal now with ordering over your phone. Food was OK nothing special.
R. M.
Great food and atmosphere, friendly staff
S. R.
A very popular spot but unfortunately we didn't enjoy our meals very much. No seasoning whatsoever and pretty average food. I have eaten there, just the two of us plus in a group of 30 people and it hasn't changed.
D. M.
First time at this place on Sunday...
Loved it! Great atmosphere and great food thank you camden Valley inn me and the family will be back in the distant future.
P. S.
Beautiful spot. Nice dishes but all meals bought out were only just warm. Friendly service though.
N. S.
Awesome food, professional service, covid safe. It was a pleasure
M. F.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly, efficient staff and nice food
C. M.
The renovation looks great. Room enough for private parties and big groups. Nice kids play area. Sweeping valley views. Haven't tried the food yet. There is a gap between breakfast and lunch. Pizza starts at 11 am on Sunday and lunch at 11.30 am. Seems to be plenty of staff. Lots of fire pits outside which weren't operating but looked to have been used.
m.
Great venue, gets busy as its the place to be at the moment
A. F.
Gorgeous decor, soothing and relaxing setting with lovely staff
T. W.
A great choice to enjoy Christmas Eve dinner with family. Lovely setting and atmosphere.
The Huon Salmon was a great choice from the menu. Unfortunately two of us had the Barramundi dish which was disappointing – nothing special.
M. M.
A very enjoyable place to have a business meeting. The function room had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do more for us. We had a delicious lunch in the outside covered area, love to come back again.
A. C.
Amazing Reno's, brilliant amenities but just can't get playground right!
Love the parents room, spoilt for choice for the menu options and seating. Soo good! They've really done a great job if the venue. But the playground is always disappointing. It either caters for the little ones and not for older kids or the other way. This time my older kids had a climbing tower that lead to the slippery dip but my toddlers could manage it and kept getting bored and frustrated. I was worried for their safety up there but I wasnt able to assist them because of the size of the fort to use the slide. For this I'm giving 3 stars. Playgrounds are key to families returning with little people.
R. S.
First time back since the renovations, the place looks great! Has a very modern and open planned feel.
I'm unfortunately a little disappointed with the food. It tasted good, however both my wife and I were served cold food, and it wasn't that busy so not sure what happened there.
I am willing to try again, simply because the atmosphere was amazing.
M. N.
Started off to a good night here, the host was very welcoming and kind. The place is beautiful and looked lovely. Then when we tried ordering our food and drink the service was horrendous from bar staff. The particular staff was rude and we had to repeat ourselves few times. The food came out fairly quickly and the mains were absolutely delicious and cooked well. Portions were really good too. Then we tried ordering some dessert. Which was a let down, took about 20 mins for them to bring out two cheesecakes which were only so so, the sticky date pudding wasn’t bad and the Nutella pizza didn’t come out until everyone else was almost finished with their desserts. All the desserts came out with fairly floss thrown on top. This was very bizarre.
Overall it was an okay experience, the service and dessert left something to be desired.
J. F.
great food ample beer selection awesome outdoor beer garden
K. F.
It has recently been renovated and it is a lovely spot to spend the day. It could do with a bit more covered area (indoors - air con) on a hot day. However, I do understand the vibe that they are going for. The food was very good and the service was good too. We are local and we will be back! Thinking of booking a space for my dad's birthday later this month.
P. S.
Would have been better to just order through the staff rather than the online system.
M. H.
Fantastic food and service. Thank you
K. L.
Live the new renovations. Very busy but staff were lovely
G. Y.
An excellent place for eating and drinking. A play area for kids. My favourite inn.
E. M.
Staff were friendly and a beautiful set up. Food was a little bit of a let down though, ordered a steak sandwich and the steak was ice cold and chewy - like it had just come out of the fridge.
L.
What an awesome weekend!
My wife wanted to go for a hot air balloon ride with the family - Camden Valley wasn't too far, and I wanted to introduce the family to an old favourite area. It was recommended that we stay at Camden Valley Inn - I haven't been there in a while so easy decision.
So we turned up at Camden Valley Inn, where the friendly and professional security at the door guided me to the reception for check-in. Reception staff checked us in quickly and smoothly, so we were having dinner in the bistro in no time.
Everyone at the Camden Valley Inn made us feel welcome and we were really glad we came.
D. B.
Food took quite a while and they forgot our entrees, but apart from that it was a fantastic pub! Felt like being in the countryside with the farm backdrop.
K. A.
Well set out for Covid compliance,
Recent renovations make a very pleasant atmosphere. All staff well groomed, polite and very helpful.
Great range of beers and wines, good menu however, ordered fish and chips (Barramundi) and was expecting a piece of grilled Barra.
The meal was three battered sticks of Barramundi and chips. Whist well cooked and prepared, I was a bit disappointed for the cost.
A. P.
We had a baloon flight on 1st April 2021. It was a good and new experience. But it is not advisable if you have knee problems or back pain as during take off and landing time you need to bend your knees.
C. M.
Was there for early morning breakfast after taking hot air balloon ride. It is meeting point for balloon company. Food was good and had gluten free option.
G. F.
First visit to Camden Valley Inn. Overall the experience was good. Was alittle confusing about processes in terms of food ordering, signs direct you to one spot but upon arriving another sign directs to the bar. Need clearer information about having to select a table before ordering, as i placed my order and was told sorry you need a table first, so i had to walk around to find somewhere to sit. Food order was bought out and was not what i ordered, but staff were friendly and had it sorted. In terms of membership, 3 staff had no idea what benefits you get and had to ask another staff where i had to even go to acquire it. Overall experience was good, food was fantastic once corrected and the venue is well presented. Had an army of staff on but little direction was given and as a result tables were left with cutlery and crockery for over 15 minutes with some staff just walking past. Will definitely be back and looking forward to seeing how it is all executed on busier trades. Recommend overall checking this venue out
J. L.
Great food. Awesome for families.
M. N.
Great venue … food is Okay .. but Custoner service does not match that place… uniterested girls seems like they do not want to be there or lacking of training and understanding of what Exceptional Customer service looks like … would not rush to go back there..😩
M. T.
I increased my rating. i really enjoy the food here and the atmosphere. They also have a great selection of beers on tap.
The kids have a ball being free range in the open space out the back as well.
M. A.
Wow - this place is gorgeous after a beautiful renovation. The dining area is enormous, though is split up into different sections. There were lots of events and parties happening. The buzz and atmosphere was lovely. The staff look great in their uniforms and were very pleasant and attentive. The service was extremely quick - our meals were delivered to our table super fast, but did not lack anything in quality. The chicken parmi was a very good chicken parmi! The fat chips are amazing. Lacks a little of the charm of the old open grass area, but the reno is very tasteful and suits the area. I will be back for sure.
G. E.
Great for the whole family and, great beer.
N. B.
We sat inside near the fire on a cold day which was nice. My Grandma had the salmon and said it was delicious and I thoroughly enjoy the CVI Guiness Pie.
J. B.
The food was good, albeit a bit slow for a not busy night. I miss the old pub atmosphere, but the venue is nicely laid out to enjoy the countryside on nice days. The servers might be a little more friendly next visit.
K. Z.
Love the new look! Have done a great job incorporating the new with the old. Food was great. Only issue we had was one meal was forgotten and it took quiet a while to get someone to check on it and bring it out to us. Love the new kids playground, however, not much for smaller kids to play on. Good idea would be to have a bit more equipment for the smaller ch ildren.
S. B.
My partner, his mother and I went to Camden Valley Inn for lunch today 8.04.2021 we used our dine voucher and the food was absolutely delicious. It has been a while since we have had a good feed out at a restaurant where we were 100% happy with the food. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is excellent and the food omg delicious. Thank you for a great day out. Our tummies are full!! Will definetly be back and will recommend to others.
C. E.
Went with a group for a St Patrick's day Lunch. The atmosphere was fantastic and the renovations to the Inn are outstanding. The staff were friendly and very professional. The food was presented well and was very tasty. Would come back anytime.
W. R. F.
We would like to thank our friend and amazing Pizza chef Stefano for insisting that we spend the night at the hotel. We had a simply amazing experience: Food, drinks, SPA, tramontana views etc. He makes the best italian pizza in NSW !
T. D.
Breakfast - came here to try the breakfast wasn't impressed I had bacon scrambled eggs mushrooms. Dish came out cold. It was replaced but musbrooms and eggs were still cold again. Eggs were like soup so I can only guess they are kept in a bulk cooked tray. Then I heard the table behind say same thing. But others had croissants and that was big and tasty avo smash looked nice. Its a nice setting for morning relaxation.
A. C.
New renovations very well designed. New complements the original side still remaining. Variety of food choice also good. Seating in & outside. Plenty of space for children to play too. Car park also renovated. We really enjoyed our visit for a Tuesday, but understand it would be much busier on a weekend. 😁🍾🍺
C. F.
The venue is good, but I hate it when 2 of 3 meals arrive and the last one does not arrive without having to ask for it. We were not the only table that it happened to. After the wait the food was pretty average.
R. S.
Pros: cocktails are delicious, particularly the Frostee Fruit one.
Food is good.
Cons: you can not book a table, this is problematic coming up to Christmas.
Not much shade, this paired with no table bookings can make or break your day.
The food is quite expensive. The child's meal was $10, it came with one tiny slider (small burger) and a handful of chips.
A. B.
An absolute treasure to visit. The new venue is beautiful with many spacious areas to drink, chat and enjoy the beauty of Camden. A nice mix of beers on tap if your feeling adventurous. The definite stand out for me a was the quality of service, with every staff member saying hello and generally be pleasant. So glad you guys are open again, keep up the fantastic work 🌸
C. J.
Wow fabulous! Congratulations.Love the open, fresh spaces. Has a great feel. It will definitely be a place to visit often. Glad to call it my local.
Only criticism is the smoking areas, especially in the poker machine room. Wednesday night I could already smell it. What a shame. Also the deck area design allows smoke into the little public bar.
Otherwise an amazing venue. Clever idea opening on a Wednesday night . Word is spreading quickly. Best wishes all round 😉 :-)
M. H.
I just want them to bring the food out at the same time when we all order! It's not that hard. The food is good but the timing of delivering it is not that good.
M. S.
Comfortable environment and delicious tasting cocktails. Service was a bit slow on the Saturday I visited but that is expected.. overall great place and such a great place to unwind with friends :)
D. S.
Very nice and warm atmosphere. The food was really good.
J. K.
The food was amazing the staff were great, the wait times for service for alcoholic beverages not on the digital menu, could have been managed a little better
A. G.
Really good food, very beautiful gardens and outdoor eating area, and really nice staff. Recommend for any occasion, from birthdays to Australia day.
C. M.
Lovely atmosphere, great vibe, good food and drinks. Great place to meet up with friends for breakfast, lunch or dinner and drinks.
L. W.
We dined here for the first time since it’s re opening and refurbishment.
The venue is sleek and modern but still retains its country town feel.
The Inn had several options when it comes to seating and dining areas from tables and chairs to more casual seating options for enjoying a cheeky drink or two. The fire pits in the courtyard add a lovely ambience.
Great children’s play area with open grass space for those of us with energy packed children (🙋🏼♀️). My son adored the baby goats and even got to help feed them!
Staff were lovely and helpful.
Menu is quite the same which is great lots of different options and Generous portion sizes.
Highly recommend to all.
M. D.
had a beautiful meal here but very large we asked for a doggy bag to take half home and was told they had run out of them
S. M.
Beautiful outlook over the hills facing West. Food was decent but overpriced for what it was. We had the guiness pie (delicious) and the Tassie salmon (a well prepared but underwhelming plate of 7 pieces of chat potato, 2 florets of brocolli counting sd the Greens, 3 prawns and a decent sized but very ordinary piece of Salmon for $32).
Definitely worth stopping by and enjoying the sunset. Just don't order the salmon if you're after a hearty warming main meal!
N. K.
Really nice place. I wish they had entertainment for a 3yr old the park there is made for bigger kids and needs supervision all the time for the climbing
M. S.
Now my regular pub, great to see the meat raffle in the sports bar of a Friday night. Great to support the local cricket club.
Food is good from the kitchen , had the Calamari, very tasty.
Returned after the re model.
The menu seems to be the same. Food is just as tasty as before
Improved interior much more room
And way more staff. It will take time to get used to.
J. W.
I've been twice now since CVI reopened and while the refurbs are great and the new eating and outdoor area's are all lovely the food is average. The first time having a scotch fillet steak that was almost all grissle and the second time when I ordered a salad and it was so completely overdressed it was a soggy revolting mess and I ate 2 bites and no more. On the plus side it was lucky I also ordered sweet potato fries for the table as that became my lunch...they were tasty but not enough dipping sauce for the quantity of chips you're given...staff are lovely, just not around once they've dropped off your meals.
A. K.
Had a amazing Supreme pizza, food is great. No problems there. My issue is with the architecture.
I'm not a fan of its modern styling attempt. It's ugly with its limewashed bricks and art of the cows. If it had red bricks and went for a classy English pub it would have been amazing
G. S.
Had a lovely lunch with best long time friends who are never at a loss for something to talk about! Lunch was scrumptious, and an enjoyable time was had by the four of us!
S. H.
Lovely atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Meals very big but unfortunately my chicken Caesar salad was mostly lettuce.
G. W.
Been here many times and the food is always just ok... nothing special and slightly on the expensive side. Atmosphere is a 4/5 though and very quick friendly service.
R. H.
Great atmosphere, food came out super fast. I had a steak sandwich, the steak was tough as. Other than that we all had a great time
L. Q.
One of Sydney’s premier historic pubs that’s recently undergone an extensive but perfectly-executed renovation and restoration, making it an idyllic destination for a lunch leading in to afternoon drinks.
Sprawling generously over perfectly maintained grounds, the panoramic back deck opens up to views of the expansive back lawn and kids play equipment, and the sun setting over the Great Dividing Range - nothing could be more quintessentially Camden!
A well-stocked bar is complemented by a dynamic and consistently high-class restaurant menu, with food catering to every occasion from afternoon charcuterie through to three-course dinner.
A short detour from major arterial roads and only a quick Uber ride from local suburbs, CVI is far enough away to cultivate an old-world charm. Make the trip out and be pleasantly surprised.

Beautiful place, lovely rooms and great food. Found the wine list expensive and breakfast orders were all mixed up. It was hard to find somewhere quiet to take a call as the surrounding music was everywhere and could be lower- my on negative

Service was great. Young people, Jade, Tyler, Ashley, Katie were terrific. The food was sadly ordinary and not as good as the lunch time specials available in every other pub in Camden. Almost twice the price for half the taste.

Nice new look. Good food and service. 2 hour time limits to eat was not really long enough. Well worth a visit. Had a good time

Had the big breakfast here. Amazing views with a lot of places to sit and enjoy your food with friends or family. Will have to come again to try out their dinner menu. Staff were super attentive.

Large place which you will never find until you come inside great out door facilities.Nice and cosy place food servings very quick..good portions., good service, and well managed place.... wish they have some area specially organised for small family as well, so the new mums can enjoy outing and kids can enjoy some play time.....not that I have a little one just noticed that.

Great casual outdoor dining. Good food and coffee. You can even order and pay from your phone so you don’t need to talk to anyone.

Great food, lovely outdoors with amazing views. Only slight complaint is the number of flies inside. Hopefully this is rectified then it's 5 out of 5.

We went to have dinner o a Saturday night, the service was impeccable even when they were catering for a few private functions. Dinner was lovely with meal sizes more than ample. We sat in the garden area and it had a wonderful atmosphere, with staff always at attention to anything that needed to be cleared or cleaned. I was that impressed I am considering holding my wedding reception there. I was very impressed.

The potato skins were awesome, sangria jug was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice, service was quite slow though, and a few items needed prompting to be brought out.

Great service and friendly staff. We booked a table out side and asked to be moved in side as it was too cold. The staff made room for our family inside even when they had a lot of bookings. The food was absolutely amazing 😁 Enjoyed every mouthful. Would go back!!

So open and airy and plenty of seating. Good selection of on tap beer. Food was fantastic and well priced. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Will be back all to often.

Lovely little pub on the main road. Really old (in a good way!) and the food was good! There was a really nice beer garden too. Only issue for us was that the kitchen/main bar closed early (8pm) however that could have been due to Australia Day.

Great food. Great environment. Reminds me of English pubs, which is something I miss often, so it's nice to have something so similar just down the road from where I live. The food has always been excellent here, I've never been disappointed. It's a lovely place to come with family and friends for a meal out!

Looks good since the renos. Food was nice with good sized schnitties. Meals were a little slow coming out but we'll put that down to it being a Sunday night with Covid restrictions still not fully lifted.

This place looks great after its big refurbishment. The classy back area and the fire pit are great costs to the ambience on cold nights (Just be careful walking near it when you're drunk!)
The extended car park or the front is great for catering for the large crowds that come here. Despite the numbers, you won't feel contested due to the spacious place.
Only drawbacks were the difficulty finding seating and the delay in receiving my meal, once ordered.
A shame that there's no music /dancefloor to keep people entertained after eating.
As it's new, it seems the staff are still finding their feet. Will happily return as I'm sure it'll improve more.

Plenty of space open to the stars and wonderful views of the Blue Mountains in the distance. They also have covered areas and aircon dining areas. Good variety of beers, wines and spirits. Nobody here as it was a couple of days before the start of the lockdown.

Lunch was delish, Atlantic Salmon w’ Garlic Prawns & chat potatoes. The service was excellent and the staff so very courteous. The Covid rules were strictly adhered to with hand sanitizers easily accessible.
Loved it so much I’m going back next week!

The setting is great and I have been there many times, for drinks, meals and functions. I have never been overwhelmed by the food or the service. It is okay. Yesterday was no different. I was part of a function with around 50 people. The food provided was okay but certainly not plentiful. It was overly salty. The staff were friendly enough, but not overly attentive.

Works Xmas party - nice place but the food was distributed by people coming out with trays and a lot of people missed out and didn't get a chance to get any food as it was all gone! The food should have been put on the centre table so we could all go up and take what we wanted.

Very nice place family friendly with a great atmosphere and delicious food!! Definitely recommend this place.

Cannot book for lunch, lots of tables and big crowds on weekends so first in gets a table. I waited 30 minutes for a table to become vacant. Food very good at reasonable prices, drink prices over the top ( 2 glasses wine $24.00 )

The meals came out quickly the Salmon was cooked to perfection and staff were friendly. Only concern was about the safety of the childs playground

Camden Valley Inn is one of the most unique hospitality experiences in the Camden area. This morning for breakfast, we arrived. We recieved quite a pleasant greeting from the staff. We were immediately accepted in.
When we ordered, the food was quick to arrive, and quite a feast for the eyes. My choice was the pancakes. The mixture of pancakes with meringue was surprising, but pleasant.
This location is a wonderful breakfast location, however, has a smaller menu choice than some other places. Despite this, they carry many of the most popular dishes on their menu, each with their own personal touch.
