I went here on Friday, 14 January 2022. The rooms are amazing, we were in room 3, with great lights albeit small for a group of 9. We had one issue with the Vodka/soda jug, just being that it didn't appear to be soda. I had a good chat with the manager and we were able to come to a good conclusion, that being we exchanged the amount of alcohol in the jug in return for another drink. I've looked through the comments on this business prior to coming here. I think the main issue is a miscommunication between parties. Be crystal clear with what you want, read their rules and be polite. I will go back to this venue. Enjoy

Very good quality food and service. We ordered Soltani and Mossman polo. Both dishes were top quality. I recommend D1 to be a very nice restaurant to visit. I will go back. Arde

Reasonable price, comprehensive song collection, slightly lower than average equipment quality. It would be a great place to visit if you just want to have fun by yourself or with close friends. However, if you are trying to show off your karaoke skill in front of others, it may not be the best place to do that. But overall, it's still a nice place to chill.

It was clean and pleasant for a karaoke bar. The covid precautions seemed to be well followed and prices reasonable. However, the entire venue smelt like mould or damp, and we didn’t like that they served us wine in a jug rather than out of the bottle. But the staff were lovely and helpful, and the smell was bearable for the 1 hour we were there. I would still go again!

Had the best time here with a small group of friends. Would recommend. Clean, spacious rooms (COVID restrictions prob helped with that), good sound and respectful security on the night put this above all karaoke venues. Would love a bigger English song selection but it’s not too bad. Strangely, they say that don’t serve tap water but they do - as they should, since it’s illegal for a licensed venue in NSW to refuse to serve customers free tap water!

The room was nice and clean and the staff were good. The system for finding English music was really difficult to use and the search function didn't search all the available options. Also the loudest music volume wasn't as loud as we would have liked. English music selection was pretty good, but it's just a struggle to find the songs in the first place. The best way to navigate the songs was to just go into the artist tab and manually scroll through the artists rather than use the search option. It was still fun, but not ideal.

Went to D1 in a large group, which I understand can be difficult to cater for. Found the song machine difficult to use and the staff largely unhelpful. We tried downloading the app, but it wouldn't work. Ended up having a pretty good time, but it took more effort than it should have.

We booked a room for 4 at around 4pm on a weekday, the price for 2 hours was reasonable and the rooms were in good condition. The song selection had a good range of English songs both old and new. However one of our microphones didn't work, even after getting new batteries, luckily as it wasn't peak hour, we were able to change rooms. We had no issues after that.

It's clean and the price is good. We paid for 2 hours but the staff misunderstood that we only paid 1 hour, so the system was closed after the first hour and we had to re-order all the songs again. Standing on the sofa was prohibited which made the experience less fun but overall there are plenty of songs and will consider coming back again.

Place is very Kareoke like. It's very blinged up. Visually this place is nice-ish. The machine was okay to use, just could not enter songs with a space in between words. Where was the space bar?? Song options weren't as broad as they advertised it, well the english songs at least. The staff were a bit rude, except for the dude in the bar that served me. Felt he was the only one that was bright enough to approach. Made a booking online and they cancelled it on us while we were physically there. Half the time the staff were on their phones playing games while I was waiting for their service. There was one girl at the bar who refused to serve me at one side of the bar. Told me I had to go to another side of the bar (only 1meter away) to be served. Bring cash if you intend to drink. They require a $50 deposit for the room. Card is accepted and refund if room is not damaged. Price was not bad but coming from Melbourne, its pricey in comparison.

Staff were lovely. Actual karaoke interface a bit hard to use and songs limited to poppy things (e.g no islands in the stream, the Gambler)but overall a great experience.

D1 Karaoke was absolutely fantastic! Had my 25th brithday party here. The room was clean, decorative and lively. There were quite a variety of English song choices, although at times they were not the original versions of the song. Only one of the speakers were working in our room, but to be honest it was already loud enough with one speaker. The price was reasonable. The staff were hospitable. I accidentally forgot to get my deposit back and they were flexible enough to return it back through a transfer. The overall experience was excellent and I will definitely be going back for round 2 in the near future!

was a little bit scared to book this place for a party because of mixed reviews, but i was impressed with my experience there. lots of english songs, comfortable rooms, great system. food portions were tiny and not very good. would recommend the fruit platter for finger food. staff weren’t overly friendly but did their job. would recommend this karaoke bar.

The lack of song collection is quite disappointing, they didn't even have I Will Survive by Cake. The software is not good and kinda slow and confusing. On the other side the sound quality is quite good and the place is quite comfy. I never order any drink here but it seems they have quite good bar here.

BEST KARAOKE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE..! No exaggeration at all! Spectacular facilities; -excellent rooms with great independent volume-options on; music, vocals and microphone gain! (3 mics and 2 screens in the room we were given) -outstanding prices! -exceptional food and drink options (and great quality food additionally!) -open later than every over Karaoke joint local the the area, and very easily accessible -great friendly staff -decent music selection (would benefit from more Disney tracks!) Overall an amazing experience we all happily started an extra hour for! Thanks again D1 Karaoke!

Really reasonable price for room hire. Don't forget to bring $50 for room 'deposit' that you can claim after you finish or if you forget they'll hold it for a week until you can't claim it back. Sound system is great as well! Too bad there's not a lot of English song selection. No tagalog music as well. Missing out on the possible Filipino customers!

Room was clean and song selection was ok, however I bought a plate of chips which costed around $7.. after 20 minutes the staff brings in a small entree plate served with cold - warm chips. Portion was so small :(

Average karaoke. Microphone kept cutting out even though they changed batteries 3 times. Also the balance between microphone volume and music was bad. The karaoke system interface itself is really clunky to use as well. Lots of our typical karaoke songs not on the list either. I would try somewhere else next time.

The security guard outside was more helpful then the staff inside the venue. Rooms are very spacious and decently priced. The english music selection was in need of some updating.
