A beautiful location, with delicious food and fantastic service. We ordered the mezze banquet which was affordable, with generous portion sizes, along with 1/2 a dozen oysters. The best Sydney restaurant!

Umut is a treasure, be sure to treat him well, as he made our experience a great one. Give the handsome man a promotion, even after his first day! That’s how good he made our night. Anyway, the food is well done, and wines are delicious. Great night all round!

Had work Christmas party here and we went with the set menu. There was were 4 different types of entree and quite filling. Mains were kingfish, lamb shoulder and pot prawns. Kingfish was delicious and the lamb shoulder looked really tender. I had the baklava which was different from what I had before and not as syrupy, a but dry and the pudding with granite better as per others. Plenty of seating but booking is recommended.

We spent over two hours here for lunch on Australia Day. The setting was ideal, the passing parade of people on the boardwalk was fascinating, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the most tender lamb ever together with vegetables and potato. Despite the fact that they were extremely busy, the friendly staff looked after us, and we never wanted for anything. We can't recommend this terrific restaurant highly enough.

We came about 20 minutes before they were closing and they were nice enough to let us in! Initially, the guy at the front seemed a bit standoffish and unwelcoming but after we were seated, he was a lot more courteous and hospitable. We had no problems with all the other staff - they were all very friendly and helpful. In terms of the menu, it was pretty much as you’d expect for Mediterranean restaurants. I liked the food a lot and felt like it was pretty fresh and well made. We got the garlic bread, haloumi and watermelon, Melitzanosalata eggplant, and the lamb, lemon & oregano potatoes. They were all presented well! In terms of taste, the garlic bread was good - not too overwhelming. The haloumi was also well done, and the addition of watermelon was weird but alright. The eggplant dish was refreshing but, it wasn’t to everyone’s tastes hahah. They gave us free shots of some sort of tropical/pineapple drink, which was also very nice and unexpected. This place has a great location, just overlooking the harbour. They have heating for anyone who is worried about the cold! Overall, it’s a nice place. The food is good but it’s more on the pricey side.

Fantastic view of Darling Harbour, accompanied by good food and great service. We shared and thoroughly enjoyed every dish, although portions where small for the price. I can’t believe I’ve never eaten at George’s Mediterranean Bar and Grill. There are so many options to eat lots of different food in Barrangaroo but George’s Greek dishes were delicious. The octopus was tender and soft and accompanied by smooth hummus and salad. The spanakopita (spinach triangles) were tasty and fresh, and the taramosalata (dip) was lovely. #letsguide #datenight #brunch

Friend was searching for "Good Restaurants near me" and she found this place which could cater for big groups of over 4+ people. We were seated at an area with fast service. Staff are friendly and they seemed to be patient enough. Our table ordered food which would cater for at most 6 people all sharing. The food tasted quite good and the ambience was nice. The cost of the foods is a little bit on the pricey side which probably needs to be considered when eating in larger groups. The portions may not be enough to make you full. It was adequate.

Stopped in for lunch before heading out on a ferry trip. Fantastic is all I can say. The dips were fresh and just as they should taste. Spanakopita was incredibly tasty, the pastry in particular really flakey. Grilled octopus had just the right tenderness to it and was served with hummus and a citrusy chopped tomato blend. Lamb souvlaki was tender and tzatziki had that gorgeous garlic taste you want.

I've been there number of times. It has a great location and a cute little feel. The food tastes good and fresh. The only complaint I'm going to make from Greek person, is the souvlakia. They are a little mmm how can I say... the pieces are tiny, a little bland and not hot. As a Greek when you order souvlakia, you want to be given good, proper souvlakia, not these little bitty bites. Would I go back, sure, would I order souvlakia again, mmm I don't think so.

The slow cooked lamb shoulder was well cooked but the portion size was very small. Good place for the tourists & but there are better places to eat if you're a local!

The location is great for sure, but food was lacking flavour. Greek cuisine is all about flavour and it didn’t come through for us at all! We ordered greek style lamb and chicken souvlaki. The lamb was cooked perfectly, but had nothing else to it. It wasn’t tasty at all! The chicken was nice and tzatziki was amazing, but very much overpriced! 4 tiny skewers for 25 dollars!

Nice combination of fetta, garlic in the eggplant dish. The chicken souvlaki was the best, 12 sticks of chicken and 12 pieces of tasty bread. The tzatziki was unIimited, I could really taste the cucumber too. I didn't expect to be given so much food, I was so happy.

Just a perfect place to relax and treat yourself with delicious food in cozy chilling out atmosphere. Family aura, soft yet attentive service, decent wine selection, all for medium range prices. Last night My wife and I had an amazing dining experience at George’s Mediterranean Bar and Grill . We had been out on a whale watching cruise through Adrenalin and decided to take an early dinner at kings street wharf . As we started our search for a restaurant we saw two girls having a lovely meal At Georges The food looked amazing . We decided to wander in where we were met by the manager George , who showed us to a lovely table right on the walkway facing the harbour. We chose the lamb souvlakia as an entree. It was so good we ordered the chicken souvlakia as well ..... again delicious. I had the Greek Lamb and my wife had the grilled Barramundi , both meals were to die for . So good was the service and atmosphere that my wife , who never has desert , decided that the mixed ice cream dish was for her and I had the chocolate bisketti. I can only tell you to go and try this amazing restaurant and say hello to George and his friendly , professional staff , you won’t be disappointed. All up with 2 bottles of New Zealand sauvignon Blanc, it was time to go . But we will be back & back & back Thank you George’s Mark & Rea Neutral Bay

Great place , loads of atmosphere and amazing food. The staff were patient and helpful and could even have a nice banter with them. I would definitely recommend especially for a large group. Pick your own dishes but be mindful as they are huge servings. Make sure you start with dips and order extra bread . The seafood was light fresh and we loved every last bite. Will be back soon

We like George's for the choice and generous serving of traditional Greek dishes. Table service cannot be faulted. The food is good value, but I find the cost of their wines detracts from the experience - hence only three stars. We haven't visited for many years, but will do so again. I was surprised at how busy the restaurant now was. But it was Friday evening; and indeed all venues on King Street Wharf and Barangaroo were packed - maybe it is people's desire to go out and party after the boredom of the Wuhan Flu Lockdowns?

Went here for a 50th birthday party on Saturday night. The place was packed (Covid-19 restrictions? what restrictions?). As 4 of us were driving, we didn't participate in the $50 drinks package that the other 40 guests were a part of. For some reason, the staff and management had great difficulty in accepting this fact, and continuously got our drinks orders wrong. Not rocket surgery to deliver 8 drinks to 4 people over the space of 3 hours and simply allow us to pay as we go. Food was OK given it was a set menu, but nothing spectacular.

Everybody’s meal was excellent but mine, and when I brought it up to the manager, instead of apologising he got all defensive and was rude. Luckily the lovely lady came over and apologised and took it off the bill, very happy with result. I am a manager in hospitality and you ALWAYS apologise to the customer first, that kind of attitude will get you and your business no where.

All items taste according to australian . If you are from india , Pakistan or Bangladesh you may not like the taste. I personally feel the taste ok not good. No spices in food. The name mentioned grill I tought it will be like barbeque but it's not. But still you can try one time. I lkie cheese and chicken. Lamp,fish and prawn is ok. I didn't like the sweet taste.

Ambience and food definitely living up to its namesake, Georges Mediterranean Bar & Grill will show you what it's like to eat in the Mediterranean (whether that's off the southern coast of Italy or along the bright blue waters of Greece) with its vast menu and hospitable staff. Serving portions are adequate and pricing seems to reflect the location of the premises, but this place cannot be beat if you're looking to test the waters of Mediterranean dining with a view.

I saw a few reviewed that the servings were small so I went simple and ordered the lamb and chicken souvlaki skewers 6pc plate of each with Greek salad on the side to make our own serving platter. It was enough for the two of us. And I thought lamb was really yummy. The setting was nice overlooking the wharf and the wait staff were very attentive. It was a great place to have a dinner date where we could catch up and chat after work.

Food was 10/10. The Halloumi and watermelon was luscious and full of flavour. The barramundi was amazing. Crispy, crunchy skin with succulent fresh flavoursome fish underneath and no bones whatsoever. My wife had the lamb skewers which were slightly bland. Their service is good, but not great because the waitstaff tend to hover alot. Food is well priced considering the quality of it.

Always good to go here for a relaxing and much quieter Sunday lunch than those deafening places next door at Barangarroo. Service is smoothly professional yet welcoming, the food is excellent being, to me, a lovely fusion of Mediterranean/Greek with meat and seafood aplenty including succulent Greek lamb. I've been going here for years with my wife and occasionally with larger work groups. As I say it's always very good and very wheelchair accessible with level access and plenty of space between the tables.

Had the lamb shoulder. Amazing, was actually lamb, not a mature sheep cut. Extremely well cooked. Made be want to go to Greece to find more. Wait staff were amazing. Prompt, friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and did all sorts of cool things with the final bill for a bunch of corporate credit card carrying types who needed to split the bill. Highly highly recommended and will return when back in Sydney Town.
