Very cool spot in Laguna. We usually grab a bite to eat for lunch when passing by. Very rustic surrounds, friendly staff and a reasonable menu.

We were so glad for taking scenic drive to hunter valley after visiting this place. Amazing & relaxing atmosphere. Just loved the vibe and coffee was delicious to have in cold and a rainy day. Each and every thing was so special here.

Really enjoy visiting GNTP whenever I get the chance. It's really worth detouring through on the way up to the Hunter from Sydney or the Central Coast; or as a day trip destination in itself. A lovely stop for a coffee, beer or meal, and a game of pool; or just to check out the local art and Village Providore. Have been at various times of day and night, and have always felt welcome from the staff and friendly locals. Stopped in this morning for a coffee and the garlic & mushroom breakfast burger. Both were great - the burger was full of tasty mushrooms, with rocket, beetroot on the base, and a Mayo or aoli top. Awesome! They have heaps of local events on so it's always worth checking out what's on when planning to check in. There's little to no service in Laguna, but GNTP provides free wifi!

Great little treasure in Laguna. My beef burger was outstanding, chips are cooked well done, vegie burger very yummy! Great service. Staff made you feel welcome and I like that. The corona with lime was extra cold and really appreciated. Allpress coffee (weak latte extra hot) was well crafted. Dogs are sharing the dinning floor with us and it makes the place even more enjoyable. Highly recommended. Perfect side of the road experience.

This is a nice little stop for a drink and lunch. My Mocha was really nice and the food my friends got was delicious The only complaint I have is the condition of the driveway in and out and the mounds of rubble. We were on motorbikes and one of our girl riders dropped her bike the ground was so rough and uneven. Lucky not too much damage was done...

This a nice stop for a feed whilst cruising the back road to/from the Hunter. We normally stop at Wollombi but dropped in to GNTP for a light light instead. There is plenty of seating choices here. The Super Salad was delicious and topped with succulent pulled pork. The chicken burger with chips & salad was very good. I had a pot of draught beer on tap which hit the spot. My wife had a glass of iced cola. All up $47 which is very reasonable. Give it a try. My only suggested improvement is the driveway needs some work as it's a bit sketchy on the Harley.

Great little place to stop off for lunch. Menu is quite small during lunch but the food is great and very fresh. Very nice location with a beautiful outlook. You can sit inside or outside and look at the views. Surrounded by a nice gift shop and a small boutique local produce store.

Great spot, also the only spot in Laguna. Menu is great, actual food is pretty good. Awesome little spot though withbstage room, pool room, cafe, bar, convenience store and petrol station (sold out on long weekend). Coffee wasn't bad, planning on coming back for brunch soon!! I'd like to catch some live music there too! Kid friendly as well. Kids loved running around and putting music on the jukebox.

Something I missed seeing on my last visit was a bowl of water for the fur-kid, but not a reason to deduct any stars from my review. Do not pass this location if you are travelling through the area!

What an amazing place in Hunter valley! A place that stood the test of time since 1891! Makes you feel like a part of history when you visit. It has preserved that old charm in the form of antique decor and ornaments. The furniture adds to the character of the place. The food is awesome and staff are so friendly. Visit to Hunter valley would be incomplete without paying a visit to this place for a coffee and cake while driving through the beautiful valley.

Quirky local tavern.Plenty of booze choice and simple but well prepped good from Rosa's kitchen. Service can be hit and miss as there's fairly constant staff turnover.

The friendly greeting and great level of service is matched by the great coffee. The pulled pork slider is a simple masterpiece of flavor. Whether breaking the journey, or settling in for a relaxing meal with friends the GNTP has that blend of friendliness, warmth and country elegance rarely experienced these days. Looking forward to my next coffee there. Oh, and very importantly, plenty of space outside for your Fur Friend to join you. 🐾

This country style take on a “strip mall” is really fantastic. There’s a place to eat, drink, and listen to some great live music at the weekend. The buildings are quite unique and playful. The staff are friendly and helpful. They sell their own wine and have beer on tap. Bathroom was very neat and clean.

Allpress coffee is always a good sign. This place exceeds expectations with exceptional food and magical decor in a majestic location. We stopped in for breakfast which was very impressive foodie fare, and popped by the little providore for local veg and some quality smallgoods. Service was excellent as well. Will be back to try lunch/dinner - and catch some live music!

This is a warm and welcoming local. The Laguna wine bar has good wine and beer options. They have a small and tasty menu, though the favourites do run out sometimes. The seating area is eclectic and cosy, showing the artistic nature of the area. They have a small shop in store if you need staples,and they sell fuel. I've had the pulled pork burger a few times and it's very tasty. It's a lovely quiet spot.

Went in to buy a few coffees for the road early in the morning. The place looks very cool and old. The gas was extremely expensive however (1.55$/L), but half expected this as in the middle of nowhere. The general store has munchies and some essentials.

Great Coffee,Service and Music ... really bad food. Sorry guys but overcharged for fat processed meat patty on the burgers. Make them yourself the night before.. easy made.. if you dont know how to make them .. i'll show you. You would know the quota so no wastage but that meat you are using bin it !!!!!!!!

Great little place to reconnect utilising the free wifi, we stayed local to this place off grid. It was handy for the little grocery items we managed to forget. They also do very tasty pizzas on Sunday evenings. Staff are super polite and very accommodating. I highly recommend the GNTP

This was a real suprising find. Seemingly in the middle of nowhere at the back of Cessnock but a gem. The ladies behind the bar were really pleasant to chat with. We had some light snacks and they were delish. It was nice sitting on ths stools watching all the comings and goings from here. Will definately head back when they have a band night.

Go here if you are visiting Woolombi/hunter/battety area. Old shacks renovated into a cool bar hang out place. Hadmad Max feel about it. Awesome re-purposed metal work made into giant ants for example. Food served from 6pm and whilst the price seems $$$ it is better food, and not just unhealthy pub food. Ask for kids menu if it isn't out. Don't expect craft beer but they do have a few selections of wine and a GNTP sparkling. They can sell you wine over the counter but not beer. It's $$$. This place runs as a cafe during the day and it has coffee, fresh bread, frozen meals and the bare essentials you might need.

Otherwise nown locally as Laguna Wine Bar is a space where all the locals hang out. There’s a lady who makes olive oil soaps out the back, they have amazing music on Fridays and Sundays, and once a month they host a little market, where all the local producers: cheese, jam & bread makers, olive growers, etc come together and sell their wares. The food here is also pretty great.

I'm a shame people like Sam White didn't enjoy themselves. I've been going there all my life and love the last of ostentation , great food, live music (unless bitter people who take offence at others appreciating different aesthetics and activities) shut it down. I think it's chilled and quaint and love the furniture. Often made by local artists contributing to their local haunt. Really Sam,. if it'a not the kind of thing you like ... i'd suggest driving straight past next time... or not coming out to the area at all. The world is a big place friend. With all due respect, why not go (stay?) somewhere on the North Shore, or "slum it" in Newtown where you can feel like you're experiencing authentic culture but without any danger of being forced out of your comfort zone. Pokolbin also has some good tourist traps. All carefully constructed to take money from the entitled and egotistical without challenging their narrow belief systems about how others should live their lives.
