Absolute please to be dining at Merivale venues. The standard and freshness of service is maintained across all venues.
Like the foood was so frikking delicious . The staff is very attentive and proactive. The drinks came to the table crisp and undiluted. Which I love.
T. M.
Checked out Mumu4u and holey!! Food and drinks were packed with unique and delicious flavours!
V. S.
Very nice to enjoy night out with friend and colleagues.
Price: high
Atmosphere: Very Good
Music: Good
People: depending on the day, sometimes too much international people, sometimes many local. Also, more office ppl after work hours, young vibe during the Fri-Sat nights.
Clean and good club!
Pool bar is the signature of Ivy.

Amazing atmosphere for Gay Saturday night. Always have great acts and DJ. Drinks are a little expensive but it is a premium club/bar
K. I.
Used to be the best atmosphere wise but due to covid I assume it's pretty gorgeous location
K. M.
After a very long time went there on Thursday night and had a great time. Nice big club with multiple floors and good music, great crowd and the security team seem to be very polite and friendly compared to last time. We went there around 9.30 pm with free entry and only few people were there. But by 10.30 the club was full and the main dance floor was packed. Worth trying out especially on a Thursday night.
S. L.
IVY disco club is a great place if you genuinely wanna party and sweat it out. Drinks price are reasonable and the cover charge is $25 with is fair for me. If you are with a group of girls, you are still fine as one of you will still take care of you. Security is efficient. Overall a fun place. Thumbs up. Apologies for poor qualities. I'm busy jumping around. Cheers. Be friendly and respectful and have fun.
H. L. E.
A clubbing experience that is out of the ordinary! Multi level areas, with a rooftop and pool (closed for swimming) ! So many different places to discover, with trendy music and so many bar areas! Incredibly busy and a bit on the young side when it comes to the general crowd age. But definitely worth a visit to experience it first hand! The $10 entry was worth it.
S. G.
It has good dance floor as well as Pool club. Pool club entry is free but they charge $25 for dance floor. It's a good place to have drinks and shake legs.
G. T.
Our first out post covid was brilliant, Benjamin Tran is an amazing bartender, we had a great time after lockdown because of him.
J. P.
On the pricey side, but always worth it. I will be back after the restrictions ease!
S. C.
great place with good arrangements of bar and dance floor. good music and the three floor area makes it mangnanimous. must visit place..
A. P.
Some of my best nights were spent at ivy thursdays trying to hit up girls way out of my league. You shall never know until you ask my friends, go out and get em.
R. M.
Seems it gets crazy busy with the younger crowd and backpackers on a Thursday night. (Particularly popular the night I walked past due to Christmas parties in the Ivy and line of party goers waiting to get in before the $10 cover charge after 10pm kicked in).
Definitely a few nice restaurants in the area too for those looking for something a bit more sedate.
I. L.
Cool venue, I guess... Had an event here, diverse venue options. Ballroom was small for 100 people but cozy
G. R.
Do you like to dance? This ain't your place. It's not that is a bad nightclub, actually it's really big and I loved the music, but is always too crowded and you can just stand there with no personal space and being pushed by the people. There should be a stricter capacity limit, if there's any. Very expensive drinks too, but at least there's free water.
M. D.
Beautiful roof top bar. Great place to go in the afternoon/early evening. Late night is a bit younger crowd. $99 bottles of veuve all day everyday!!
A. H.
A beautiful place to visit, the service is a bit slow, but the environment is good.
L.
i love weekdays' quiet atmosphere!! Nice foods and cocktails!!! Friendly staff.
D. F.
The best place for the night especially salsa Wednesday and All you want Saturday
L. D.
What a wonderful ballroom for weddings, attentive professional staff providing excellent service. Food was exceptional and of the highest quality, in taste and presentation. Congratulations on presenting a wonderful experience.
Smoking balcony was a delight, thanks for thinking of everyone.
R. G.
Fantastic night, great venue. Helps I was there with a super model.
A. R.
Who wouldn't love to dance on a Bollywood theme in Sydney! The place is great for a weekend party, very close to Wynyard Station. They offer a nice atmosphere with drinks at affordable prices (they don't charge like other expensive bars of Sydney). Would totally recommend spending the weekend night at this place. If you're not a Bollywood lover, check out their normal party, which I believe is more fun!!
K. M.
Every Wednesday theres Salsa and bachata classes! And keep partying downstairs till late!
P. F.
One of the best. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff ❤
V. L.
Great service and especially really nice cocktails! Will definitely be back and take advantage of happy hour!
We also had some bar food and was great.
T. G.
Loved the vibe here! Awesome levels and staff were happy and friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced and music is always a winner. The pool is beautiful and the setup is great! Seats, couches and a bar right up the top 😍 would definitely recommend! Door charges sometimes but it's worth it! So nice and heaps of variety.
G. &. M.
Best social dancing club for Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba on Wednesdays.
R. M.
Best place to party! Thursday just $10. Great music, nice spots and fancy people.
D. L.
Fantastic Vibe and always a great night, if you can get in ?? Many a party had here. Love it !
A. R.
Amazing experience everytime I went and extremely friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend. Good music and good drinks!
A. S.
Very cosmopolitan, great food presented beautifully, fabulous experience
D. M.
The club is really nice and mostly outside so plenty of fresh air coming in and out. It’s definitely not cheap but you can actually see what the difference is compared to other clubs. Good music house in the main section and hip hop was in an upstairs section and huge smoking balcony too.
S. B.
It was lovely at the pool bar but a little tired. Tiles missing on the pool, rust on the pizza holder, not keen on the cover they put on the wine bottle so you don't know if you actually have the wine you ordered and you can't tell as it has a cable tie holding it together..so very strange ..especially when you pay a lot of money for it....go back to wine buckets. The food was nice but not exciting. Overall it's not a place I would go back to..i feel it's more geared up for night time..when no one cares about what they are having.
P. F.
Good restaurants and vibe in the area. Also gets busy with IVY nightclub.
J. C.
Great for Friday night drinks. Had a Meet Up event so had our own private area and got a free drinks voucher which was a nice extra. Otherwise drinks there are pretty pricey...
Had good RNB music too so that was a bonus
M. S.
We went there on a Thursday night after a workshop with our team. The food was delicious, but the music at the venue was painfully loud, to the point where we left an hour later to go somewhere more quiet. I saw plenty of other tables having the same problem, everybody had to shout to make themselves heard. If you went there to dance, sure, that would make sense, but most people seemed to just go there for dinner. Guess that's a business choice.
M. C.
A must try option and you won't be disappointed! Good selection of beers. Very popular for after work drinks. Good burgers, reasonable size servings and the fries are pretty good. Also the best choice for a quick bite for lunch if in the area.
S. -.
Great fun to go to an event held here
H.
Love this rooftop bar, beautifully designed and a great atmosphere, ideal for after work drinks.
A. V.
No wonder in considering this place as one of the best bars and pubs in Sydney.
Safe and has a good vibe going on! Friendly international staff, nice choice of various rooms and music. Pool level is lovely!
Thank you Ivy!!!
A. G. S.
Amazing music I all rooms. Thursday is the best day to go as it's free entry plus drink before 10pm. Better on summer to swim in the pool. It also has a smoking area provided with heaters in winter and lots of bathrooms all over the precinct.
A. X.
It was fun! I came to visit from Melbourne and had lost of fun. Pretty cheap drinks and good music.
Y. X.
The venue itself is not bad at all. But the music, events and the vibes does not appeal to me. Might be a super fun place for younger people who's after an evening of glamour. But I'm afraid it's way too pretentious for people who's simply after a good club and good music.
G. G.
The best place in town. Nice swimming pool and nice drink selecting. Friendly staff must go
J. P.
Just a dance club nothing special.
I. C.
Good range of restaurants and good drinking spot. Expensive cover charge sometimes
D. B.
I go almost every Thursday and I really like it. It has many dance floors that would appeal to different audiences and a good range of drinks. Salsa night on Wednesdays is also pretty good. However I've heard that entry fee can be quite expensive on the weekend.
K. K.
Ivy is always crowded. I was there few times when my friends invited me and I can say it’s not place for me.
S. Y.
It's a really nice venue but super super over priced it's ridiculous. I paid $27.50 for two vodka and soda waters 🤔 I could have bought half a damn bottle for another $2.50! Music was cool too, they have different sections for different genres
K. N.
The staff manning the entrance were a bit dismissive and rude, probably because they have to deal with a lot of anti social behaviour. Didnt feel very welcome. On Friday the music was very drum and bass with no noticable tunes and most of clientele were early 20's I'd say. Large rooms with a cool feel, not too crowded.
F. F.
The venue is spectacular and I loved the interior design, all the decorative details and certainly the convenient geolocation.
We went just before 12 o’clock noon to beat the crowd, which I would always recommend as it can get insanely busy.
The Thai food is very contemporary and delicious, and when you ask for extra vegetables you have no troubles getting these 😍 *restaurant endorsed*
p. p.
It's a great place to have lunch, good food, good staff.
M. V.
Love the layout and the pool. Prefer if they have more seatings available.
Don't rate their choice of DJ at times. Would have prefer a more chilled background music.
Not much of a clubber these days, so I don't think I'm their target audience - e.g. young flashy guys/girls who are willing to pay for over-priced drinks.
Overall, nice enough place to party and a few drinks, dance if you're inclined.
S. I.
Good for a fun night out! Nice choice of various rooms / levels / music. Pool level is great in summer. Will be a lot better once the lock out laws are done away with!
L. T.
We had dinner at Palings. At 6pm it was already half full of the after work crowd and some Christmas events. Table reservation is recommended as it gets very busy. At around 8pm music changed to Salsa. There are a few places to dance but the centre section is uneven stone, so its not suitable for dancing. There is also a wooden area and a couple of other spaces so there is enough space to dance. At around 9.30 it got *Really* packed. Dance floor is full.
Overall an enjoyable evening and suitable for beginners and intermediate dancers. The crowd thins near to Midnight.
E. M.
Ivy is my favourite place to dance salsa & bachata on Wednesdays. Ivy is huge, and every night they have a different party going on. It also has an amazing pool where they also throw parties. It is actually one of the most well-known nightclub and bar of the city.
Thursday nights are cover-free, so if you want to save some dollars Thursdays and Wednesdays might be your nights :)
K. C.
Came here for lunch and the setting is amazing. Gorgeously pretty. Service is friendly and attentive, but just dropped off slightly after it got busy. Food wise, it was okay. Some of the portions could have been bigger. My portion side of the gnocchi was decent and filling, however, quite salty. Meal alone came to $30, on the pricier end. Not the first place I'd revisit in future.
N. R.
We had visited this place for a large gathering. It has a large area to offer for a large group of people. Separate dance floor cum auditorium gives you facility for a meeting or announcements. outside seating and view is amazing. Offers vegetarian and non vegitarian dishes along with every kind of alcohol you might look for.
D. S.
This place is well managed. The food is delicious and the service is great. Love this place.
A. F.
Incredible place to experience the nightlife in town, the security isn't your enemy unlike most clubs/pubs as they actually came across as people who care for your/everyone's well being. Drinks are priced appropriately for the area and the live DJ on the ground floor is a fantastic place to cut shapes while the 1st floor gives you a breather away from the loud booms of music to have a chat with fresh faces or friends lending an ear to your slurs
N. N.
Good food, service a bit slow. Not enough variety of mocktails for the child bearing. Ceilngs require waterproofing as pool was leaking through as evidenced by the wet stains (however if your going for the club at night you wont notice).
J. S.
Great spot for an afternoon get together, particularly while "bottom's up" was running
I. S. V.
Ok. Nice venue. Catering needed improvement. 300 plus people and one coffee station which was always empty when I queued up. Pretty basic to have multiple coffee points.
A. G.
This is one of the nicest bars I went to. There were so many different things to do on the different levels. My favourite part was the outdoor heated pool. There was is a lot of different places to dance and enjoy people's company. But most people end up in the pool at some point (by choice) and have a great time. And they even have towels for hire once getting out of the pool.
W. L.
Good customer service, hospitality was good and staff was impeccable.
A. P.
Ivy bar is a great night out, with lots of different floors and rooms and great music it is easy to have a good time here. The dance floor was packed and the music was so good it was hard not to dance. There is a rooftop pool and once one person had jumped in a lot of people joined so it was a good way to meet people and have fun. The only slight complaint would be how expensive it is, for a beer you were paying 10 dollars. But for everyone who is on a budget - it is free entry on Thursday nights - so even if you don't want to spend much it is definitely worth having a night here to explore the place.
A. C.
Good food at the Thai place but expensive than most Thai places!
r.
We hired the penthouse suite for a private birthday party. The suite is not very big but is modern, has a jacuzzi spa and a balcony overlooking the nightclub on the lower level. Overall was a good experience.
B. J.
The place is huge and the design on point, though it's much more a mainstream club/tourist attraction than what one would call an "exclusive" club. Still worth going at least once. Of course expect massive crowds, highly priced drinks and below average service. On the other hand lunch and afternoon drinks at the pool are definitely underrated.
W. L.
Multi floor space with plenty of restaurant and bars. I love that the restaurant is so big and could accommodate over a hundred people. Great for venue hopping for a whole night. After dark, it turns into a nightclub band you can stay after dinner for dancing.
C. C.
The place was really nice, a little expensive on entry and pricey for drinks but still nice.
Only reason for the 3 stars is the people in there get a pack mentality. I was there with my girl trying to have a good night and 5 lebos think it's all good to try and start her or start me.. it's not your fault for this .. however I only was able to spend an hour in the place for somthing I was warned by many about... we genuinely didnt feel safe in a Sydney establishment. We left in the hour and wont be back
T. N. (.
Good food for a weekday lunch, but can get pretty busy so you might want to make sure to make a booking if you're on a tight schedule. The menu is updated every few months so there are often new dishes to try out.
M. R.
Overpriced. Only good on Thursdays cause free entry before 10. Semi good, drinks are overpriced but heaps good places to hang and get lost in. Depends how you're feeling I guess. They have food so if you're hungry order a pizza and sit and watch the semi naked dude dance everynight at the pool.
E. M.
It's a pretty cool spot. A little pretentious for my liking and the crowd is not my cup of tea but nevertheless, it's cool and has a good vibe. The music is great. Cool spot to hang our with a bunch of friends on a summer night. Service is just ok. Location, being the centre of city is convenient.
S. N.
Nice venue - Palings is good for work lunches but it is pretty much outdoors so not great on cold days. They have a grill menu, sandwiches and Thai menu. The pork belly looked delicious but best shared between at least two people with rice. Pad si ewe was excellent, well balanced sauce and vegetables. Perfect portion for one person. Stir fried vegetables is enough for three people as a side. Their salads looked delicious as well. I recommend booking especially for groups. They accept credit card and have to order at the bar (no table service). The staff had trouble finding our table though. Food arrived very quickly and we were there at midday on Friday.
A. P.
Fantastic venue with a great sound system. I visited Ivy for an afternoon/evening event in The Courtyard and had a great time! Plenty of staff made it feel very safe and there was rarely a queue at the bar. Great spot, though do check their Facebook page for dress code details, as it can vary for special events.
v. m.
Held a fundraising function in the Ivy ballroom and it was lovely. The guests were impressed. The staff were great and the food was beautiful. It is starting to look a little worn and tired though.
R. F.
It's a fun place to go if you're looking for a cool club. Don't be surprised if you lose your friends while you're there. Thursday nights are free entry, so that's your best bet when deciding what night to go. Drinks are pricey here. Girls - prepare yourselves for creepy men.
P. D.
Edit: I contacted the upper management and they not only solved the case but also reimbursed the amount the employee cheated me off of.
Upper management is very polite and active and take customer service very seriously. Hence, the change in rating.
There is no doubt that Ivy is one of the best clubs at Sydney. But, be careful people. The staff is very rude and disrespectful. They scammed me off 25$ and made me pay twice for entry into the pool side. Make sure if you pay anywhere you get a stamp or a band.
M. G.
The rooftop bar/pool area is great but not many seats. The nightclub itself doesn't serve cocktails that great and the music is too loud sometimes.
If you don't like backpackers and 18 year olds running around drunk and on drugs go up to the rooftop or somewhere else.
D. K.
Very nice scenery. Security and bar tenders are overrated, rude and not accommodating at all.expect to wait at least 10 minutes before a bar tender decides to serve you. And during those 10 minutes be prepared to watch two out of the three bar tenders there cleaning or talking to eachother rather than serving customers.
J. C.
This place is unique and amazing! Staff was super friendly and the bartenders were fast and very attentive. I had an amazing Pre birthday bash here and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for great music and drinks 🍸
T. s.
We were looking for an upscale pool to dip into while we ate brunch and had some cocktails. We quickly found that Ivy Precinct's Pool Club was THE destination for this in Sydney. We we provided a cabana and indulged in a massive charcuterie board, a gourmet pizza, numerous amazing drinks, and some fantastic dessert.
The music was nice and chill, which was perfect for the afternoon and the staff was extremely helpful.
Next time I'm in Sydney, I'm certain to come back.
B. B.
It's a great nightclub and complex. It is a shame it is rumoured to be closing down soon. Good events there, however drinks are crazy expensive. It cost me $18 for one basic spirit drink ( vodka soda ) which is pretty outrageous.
N. W.
The view here is really pretty, especially at the pool bar with the colourful lights and cool atmosphere. It feels very up-scale and classy. Plus there are many different floors and cool places to explore, something to suit everyone. But it can get way too crowded and the floors get slippery which is a bit dangerous.
A. D.
Most of the time I have been here it is usually for a function in one of the many rooms they have alongside the main bar area.
The functions that I have been to are always well catered for and the rooms are interesting. I find they just feel like you've been invited around to a friends place to have a drink.
A. R.
Lovely place to chill at weekends days and weekdays.
Moderate and active club.
T. N.
Great to go for drinks on a Friday night. If you like dance music then its the place to go, but the dance floor gets really packed after 9.30PM.
The decore is very decadent and opulent. The drinks' prices are the same as any other places in the city.
J. C.
Expensive drinks with most $8-10 as a starting price, attracts a lot of good-looking people and people who want to be looked at. Probably the best large bar/club in Sydney if you're looking for a place that's going to be busy, lots of different rooms / parts of the venue to meet people. Entry becomes $20 after 9:30 p.m. or 10 p.m. I think on Friday and Saturday night's which is when it is busiest. There's also very busy period on Thursday night from 11 p.m. because all the backpackers/foreign students come in after drinking at home.
D. E.
Nice spacey venue on a Tuesday night. Happy hour drinks were 6 bucks for a range if beers on tap and house spirits and wine. Really friendly staff too.
B.
Amazing experience - a must do in Sydney if you enjoy nights out. The venue is massive with a diverse groups if bars and areas that doesnt sully the experience. However, the crowd can sometimes not vibe well with the mood you are in.
E. R.
Definitely the most impressive club in Sydney. A next level clubbing experience with different levels, areas, a garden, a rooftop and even a pool! There is so many areas and types of music it took me half an hour to found the exit .
A. O.
Great atmosphere, decoration... But expect to be charged 20 min for a cocktail
A. C.
perfect place to party and/ or chill. Fantastic rooftop pool with awesome people. Definitely my recommendations to go out in Sydney.
A. W.
Attended a corporate event with Caribbean night theme. Life music was a bit sad, u really need a lot of alcohol to start enjoying it. Food was great though, lots of options to suit any palate. Flight of stairs to get to the venue entrance was a bit of a downer especially when u r intoxicated
K. B.
I travel to Sydney every month for work and I've frequented this club about 3 times now. Atmosphere is pumping. Crowd a little pretentious, but so are most clubs. high ceilings with outdoor setting. Drinks are crazy high. I had $250 in my wallet before entry and $18 after exiting. Few cute looking guys but most can't hold a conversation for more than 30sec. Or maybe they just get bored talking with me.
B. R.
One of the best spots to party in Sydney. The pool are is really nice and you can splash while you sip your cocktail. There's always great DJs in the main hall and also good crowd to enjoy your night.
S. W.
There’s no better weekday spent than at Ivy Pool Bar with a cocktail. Don’t stress about spending too much money here unless it’s busy/the weekend. If you have a long lunch break and work in the city, drag your mates and your togs up to the pool level and you’ll have a great day, because the staff are super professional and the area is idyllic.
R. W.
It was fun, very big, a lot of different areas and stages. It was cool
B. D.
Had our work Christmas party in the Sun room and the venue was gorgeous, but the food was absolutely awful and a few of the staff were extremely unprofessional, a couple of the wait staff were downright rude. I think it's one of those places where you need to be a drinker to enjoy the full experience.
T. J.
Honestly a pretty great venue, well laid out and mostly good service. The best thing is their service for people in wheelchairs like myself. Can't say enough! Thank you ivy for making my clubbing experience stress free!
T. M.
Mixed experiences here. It’s a hit or miss - you could get a great experience or a rude staff member or over the top security.
Thursday night at the pool has always been the best selection of beautiful women in Sydney - I will give it that
F. C.
there have a pool and a lot of different drinks.
the space its so big and beautiful, there have a 3 levels and each level play a different kinds of music.
the bar is to easy access, in the centre.
for woman the bar is free and we need to pay only the drinks, that are cheap.
G. G.
Great staff and food was good. Drinks were expensive but expected based on loaction
P. W.
The Ivy!! I can safely say I have had many a wild nights out here but have always felt at home. A great variety of facilities and events. A must visit more than once venue. You've got to go to the pool bar. Hilarious watching patrons fall in the water!
H. F.
Aside from the bar itself, the staff members are great there. Had my phone stolen which contained my credit card, ID, bus pass and apartment key. A security guard got me a manager so I could look at her phone apple maps for directions home. When she realized it was an hour long walk through the city, she got the general manager and he gave me $20 for a taxi home. They were great.
M. T.
Absolutely amazing place to eat. If you love luxury food then ivy is the place to go. Extremely helpful staff, especially the bar staff.Efficient service, great soundtrack, comfy surroundings in a central location. Top quality rump and salmon dishes.
T. S.
Amazing place with a nice swimming pool and great DJs. Had Old Fashion cocktail there, it takes almost 10 minutes to make it, but it worth it to try. Oyster mushroom pizza was also very good. Would recommend to go in the afternoon to enjoy special happy hours things.
E. R.
This place is a spectacular venue. It has a diverse array of music and levels with a fabulous rooftop pool. The drinks are fairly expensive and entry to the club is very expensive. Be sure to go on a thursday where its free entry to all and a lively party atmosphere.
A. B.
One of the most fantastic clubs I have ever been to. There are three levels of absolute fun times with tons of fancy people to keep the atmosphere classy. On one side of the club there is a rooftop pool that nightgoers can swim in during their time at the bar. The drinks are kind of pricey but that Is ok, i had the time of my life without a single drink.
A. A. I.
Lovely place, has a large eating area that is cleared into a dancefloor at 9pm. There are two clubs at the top floor and ground floor with seperate dj's depending on your dance mood. There are several bars around the complex so no long waiting queues.
L. A.
I go almost every Thursday and I really like it. It has many dance floors that would appeal to different audiences and a good range of drinks
A. n.
I've been to nearly every club in Ibiza. I've been three times to Miami music week and several festivals. What I have seen here is one of the best clubs I have ever been. It's not only this really great venue. The people are so friendly, I've never been treated that respectful by security and service personnel. Also the people you're going to party with: perfect! I loved it! The dj on Thursday 27.12.2018 played one of the best sets I've witnessed (actually there were more than one but the last two nailed it so bad)
M. L.
Just went to Ivy on a Friday night after trying to hit up all the other clubs in town and by far was it the best one. The music was pumping, everyone dancing and mad mosh pit. Some weird guys though that stand around and try to dance with drunk chicks. And also the drinks are expensive. But other then that definitely where I’m going again.
$25 entry no line beaut
J. M.
I really appreciate the detail and passion the staff have put into this venue. The light house table lanterns and the indoor plants are a superb touch to an already thought out decor. Despite the negative brush that the media and general public paint of this brand it is by far the best entertainment venue in Sydney. The casino are money hungry snobs, the smaller venues cant keep up with the nanny state demands but the Ivy is doings it's best to maintain the quality and service of a globally competitive venue. I'd happily work for Merivale if the opportunity arose. Keep up the good work!!

Beautiful atmosphere and great surrounding restaurants
R. H.
It is a nice club with a good layout. It is easy to get to with public transport which is also handy, however the drinks are very pricy compared to other places. It also doesnt have the best staff. The secruity can also be very anoying walkong in and out of the the bathroom and geting in the way of the crowd. It is a very popular place however doesnt have the best crowd, especially for women. I would reccomend looking at other venues before this place.
B. H.
The drinks were pretty expensive but otherwise ivy is a great place with good music. There are different floors you can go to . Two dancefloors, a pool and one lounge type area from what I remember seeing.
J. T. (.
Like it
R. A.
Really big and music is usually good. Can be a bit overcrowded at times and drinks aren't cheap. Pool area is a good call for a different night out with friends.
A. S.
What can i say.. This place is by far one of Sydney's most exclusive clubs! The Decor and atmosphere is defiantly amazing and one of a kind! This is a very formal and reputable bar so don't expect to get let in unless you are looking the part! The guards are extremely strict on numbers as well as dress code. This is not my scene however if you are into a more prestigious night club experience than this is defiantly for you!
S. J.
Really good vibes. I went to Ministry of sound and upstairs to the pool club where they were playing Rnb all night. The place was nicely decorated and the drinks are not overly priced.
M. D.
Great cocktails, atmosphere and service
A. T.
The concept of the club is nice, 4 floors, with a pool and all, but it’s a bit expensive and way to packed on Thursday’s, you can barely talk and communicating from one floor to another is difficult. Still a fun time if you are with the right people.
A. H.
it really cool please, it has few levels and each one has different atmosphere, if you like to dance they have what it takes for that from hiphop to house music.
Drinks are reasonable. sometime in friday entry is 20$ and sometime its free.
also they have really good food at the pool level.
K. D. L.
Great bar precinct spread over multiple floors with different themes throughout.
Great menu selection with professional staff.
There is something for everyone here and is a well known spot for Sydney siders.
The fitout is modern and contemporary with a great atmosphere and great vibe.
The open air design is a point of difference.
A. M.
Especially since the renovations the Ivy has improved the atmosphere. The pool club is great for a pizza lunch on a sunny day and palings for chill evening drinks or dinner. But stay clear on Friday or Saturday nights unless you have patience or are on a guest list.
D. L.
Beautiful location in Sydney which is a really dense spot for drinking, eating and socialising. An excellent place for drinks but one of the best places in the CBD for an event, the size and scale is sure to make any event very special for the attendees
D. H.
Pool bar is great! So much fun for an afternoon session. Need more seating for people who havent booked a cabana and booze is quite expensive. But overal fun
N. M.
Club has a really nice layout. Smoking area inside is already worth 5 stars. Sadly the DJ was more than disappointing. Was jamming in the club for 5 hours DJ didnt get it right once.
A. Z.
Gorgeous place! Ministry of Sound on Saturday nights is still probably one of the best places in Sydney to be if you want a good night of dancing. Drink prices are reasonable.
J. J. S.
One of the few places in Central Sydney for a wide variety of nightlife. Definitely a fan of their Latin nights on Wednesday, with some very good salsa, bachata, kizomba, and zouk dancers.
Food and beverages are good quality at a reasonable price.
L. R.
Went on a Thursday night. The music is alright and the drinks are expensive but it's fun. The venue itself is really cool, like a hidden mini-district of Sydney hidden in the CBD. Pool Club is one of the more unique nightlife options in Sydney and definitely worth a visit.
C. R.
Music is pretty good, toilets are fairly clean, drinks are overpriced and the quality of them can fall when they are busy. The vibe there is overall pretty cool.
A. G.
This place is one of the better bars/clubs in Sydney but the prices for drinks are quite high. There are usually some good DJ's performing on the Saturday nights.
The venue is open till very late and is usually good with letting in patrons after midnight.
There are many bars in the venue, so lines for drinks aren't very long. If you are lucky to get into the Pool area, make sure to visit "Change Room"
K. B.
The venue is really nice and a good setup however it is not a place I typically enjoy. If you like dancing in a smart casual setting then it could be a place for you.
S. P.
Typical night club.
Not as good since drinks are overpriced but
they do have heaps of good spots to hang out with friends.
Also, I think the security guys are way too rough.
I was here only once but I'm probably not coming back.
Y. v. d. H.
Definitely the most impressive club I’ve visited while being in Sydney. A next level clubbing experience with different levels, areas, a garden, a rooftop and even a pool! There is so many areas and types of music it took me half an hour to found the exit (that and a few drinks being involved). Always busy and only $10 entry (or for free on Thursdays before 10PM). Bare in mind that the general crowd age is a bit on the young side.
D. J.
Pretentious, overpriced and full of attitude. If it wasn't for the decor & architecture you'd completely avoid this place and go to your local RSL or pub instead. The "deli menu" offers some sub-$20 lunch lunch options but be prepared for a wait.
L. I. B.
Dominique and the team is the best. All the bouncers and the team is so helpful, they might be bit arrogant but in terms of security it’s the best venue. I lost my LV Wallet full of cash & lots of business cards, in just 30-40 mins whole team looked at the CCTV and all the relevant proofs and found me my pocket picker. There team work was outstanding. I lost all the hope but I got each and every thing back. I even went to offer some donations or tip to whole team but they didn’t accepted it. It was amazing experience, I am really surprised of the fabulous team work of such a busy venue. Thanks a lot to everyone any please let me know if I can donate something for staff, it will be an owner for me
Z. B.
Definitely my favourite club in Sydney so far. I've been out a least once a week to different bars and clubs, but Ivy made me feel like a superstar. The pool level is generally packed with people, but it has a sweet atmosphere. Plays dance-able, pop music, but if you go down one level to the 3rd floor there's some cool hip-hop/r&b as well. Thursday nights are FREE
F. T.
It's a comfortable place, good for dancing, drinking, meet friends, a little bit expensive, but not the worst place to spend money. Actually, in general people who goes there are Europeans, Australians and Americans. Good party with a lot of good DJs and interesting people.
M. P.
I've been here a fair bit, usually for Ivy Pool bar events. The atmosphere is great. The decor is above average. The food is really quite food, a bit pricey obviously but it's really nice and chill.
K. V.
Great atmosphere and nice tunes! A lot of young professionals and students on Thursday nights. Drinks were not that cheap and on a busy night you will be waiting a little while before you are served.
J. L.
Private rooms are great for functions and the staff is wonderful. The clubs underneath would not be my go to for a night out but aren't terrible or anything. Just not to my taste of party environment.
M. R.
Good place to hangout together.
J. H.
Really good on a sunday session! Generally 1-2 hours of free drinks and good music. After the free drinks, the prices are quite expensive but the location makes more than up for it.
Make sure you're dressed nicely and bring a lot of girls if you're a guy.
T. P.
If u r a tourist and looking for a night to dance or party, this is the place to be. I paid $40 for entrance but it was worth it. Do not go to Chinese Laundry, Chinese laundry sucks. It's for local young joint. Ivy is way much better.
S. A. M.
One of the hottest places in town to go out partying. Drinks are not exactly cheap but its alright if you went once in a while but still, drinks could be cheaper.
Cheers
O.
Ahh, Ivy. Located incredibly close to Wynyard, it's probably one of the best Nightclubs in Sydney, if you have the money.
$20 bucks to get in (unless there's an event), and you can bet that the drinks are going to set you back a small fortune. Watch out for the bartenders asking you for a double shot, you will literally pay double.
Reccomended to bring atleast $120 if you plan to stay the whole night there.
You're paying for the atmosphere and music, both of which are worth it, usually.
Also, security can be a bit jumpy so just watch out.
C. L.
I drop in usually for ticketed EDM events, but the occasional boys night out usually reaches it's prime here.
Atmosphere and crowd are always fun, but getting a drink can be near impossible at times. Overall I enjoy this place, with the exception of nights where there are more pretentious people around than I can usually tolerate
G. B.
Best club I've ever seen. Makes you feel rich just being there. Great atmosphere and so many rooms and floors
M. J.
One of the best clubs in the world! Loving the atmosphere, the building, the rooftop pool, the people, the music! Not the cheapest night out but definitely amazing!
M.
So it's got three fance floors. One is for ministry of sound guest djs(if the dj is good then you'll enjoy otherwise you'll want to move to another dance floor with a different dj) , one is on the roof with a pool and places to sit although it's hard to find a place with all the intoxicated people around you, the third is on the third floor which is like a small indoor dance floor and the best one in my opinion but bathroom breakd are difficult to manage since lots of people constantly have to use the restroom but it's not tooo bad a good place to dance the night away and wake up the next morning with aches and pains throughout your body.
F. P.
Ivy is honestly the best joint in Sydney...On the weekend I may have lost my watch there so I let the staff know about it and they have been taking such good care of the situation and trying really hard to track down my watch for me and have honestly gone out of their way to help so I cannot thank them enough for that. Even if we don't end up finding the watch I'm still so thankful to Ivy for going out of their way for me and putting me at ease with the situation so hat off to all the staff and you'll be definitely seeing me and friends back at the most glamorous yet down to earth club in town!!!!! I love you guys!!!!!
L. K.
Great place - gets crazy busy
K. V. C.
Service and setting was good. Glad to see for once I wasn't hassled for my tattoos. Overall great but not my scene.
J. P.
A little bit too pretentious on a normal Friday or Saturday night, but their weekend afternoon events are pretty good. Saw Flume on boxing day and it went off. The atmosphere on the deck on a long weekend is great.
O. H.
Large and busy club with Access to a roof top pool which gives it a unique edge over other venues in the city. Located in the CBD. Security are fair and polite.
P.
Amazing!!! Great times awaits you!!!😁😄😄😄😁
C.
one of the best bars in Sydney....lost a bit of steam off late but if your looking for a good salsa venue... Wednesdays are great here
C. R. K.
I have been to this place for once and I loved it so much, it got many venue like the terrace open disco with the bar, the normal disco and the best thing is that it even got the big underground type of disco which was huge.. And I have to pay entry fee 40$ which kind of disappoint me and the drinks are a bit expensive in my view.. But overall the satisfaction after going to that place pays off all those things..
J. T.
Great place to go on a Thursday, if your into drinking and having a good time... Great Crowne different venues available and great selection of drinks and food
S. E.
The Ivy is probably one of the best known nightclubs in Sydney, not just because it features its very own pool on the top level. If you shy away from the pricey entry fees on the weekend, then you will be happy to hear that you can access the club for free on Thursday nights. However, be prepared that this attracts other guests as well, in particular those that live in or visit Sydney on a budget, and therefore I recommend you arrive before 10pm. Overall, Thursday nights are very busy. Music is mainstream, the dress code chique and en vogue, and drinks are reasonably priced.
D. R.
Really expensive, but really awesome.
M. P.
Great location. Plenty of of bars and restaurants to choose from.
P. V.
Great ambience and good spot to catch up with friends n family
P. B.
Great quality restaurants with execllent service. It misses the intimacy of good small business owner operators who meet and greet their returning patrons, but the staff are still first rate.
C. T.
A very popular spot for people who wish to be 'seen'. I've been here a few times mainly for after work drinks and although it can be quite packed, it can still at times be a great place to mingle - definitely nice surroundings, no expense spared for the decor.
M. M.
It is refreshing to go to a function room that doesn't feel like a function room! Good food and great court yard views. Not often you get naturual light......
J. G.
Amazing place, every level is different and there is even a pool (Some pool party are organized in the summer...).
Really trendy and the place to party if you want to hear good music.
Definitively a place to go in Sydney.
A. B.
I Had a delightful meeting with a young and very welcoming hostess /reception manager Brooke ... I was wishing to check out the ivy precinct having heard so many rave reviews from a few friends and a family member about this complex! The reason behind this trip into the ivy complex was to get an overview and a peak a boo of the complex as I have been underway writing my very first novel and have presented snippets portraying scenes from the various venues within the ivy precinct in my book. My book is about the lives of five beautiful young girlfriends who spend their special socializing times at the ivy, where perhaps meeting the love of their life is a possibility! My book is playful Erotica, finding true love and wonderful friendships, encased in a few digressions with a twist or turn here and there! So as an older girl and a former devotee of John of Merivale fashions introduced myself and my husband to Brooke and proceeded to have a chat with Brooke about my hay days and my love of John of Merivale fashions... she was frilled to be enlightened, not knowing of Mr Merivale fashions of Pitt Street way back forty seven years ago. Brooke cheerfully invited us to view the roof top and their Italian restaurant, we where so impressed by the ambiance of the various establishments from their Lorraine’s Patisserie shop on their ground floor, with this being surrounded by many dinning choices before taking the lift right up to the roof top! We found it really hard deciding on where one would choose to eat as all these combining dining presented very alluring! Looks like we will be needing many more trips back to the ivy precinct! Perhaps even a book launch come Valentines Day!
D. C.
Free entry on Thursdays makes this a great night out! Very crowded club with music that's pretty loud and there's always a long line to get in. Watch out for Sydney's CBD lockout, you can't get in after 1:30 am...
T. L.
Hey 👋 —— hope you’ll be back! I miss this place!
B. T.
One of the most sought out places to go on Friday / Saturday nights (avoid: if you don't want to pay cover, or in case of Friday - get in early and get an entry stamp). But even then bring some money (it's very safe to say that all cards accepted).
This establishment has different areas:
- Main bar area, is probably where most people go and also has a dining area for food.
- Sunroom area (upstairs). Similar to the main bar, but there is also foosball and table hockey tables that you can play with others.
- The Den. This is a nice lounge which is a bit quieter. Perfect for a romantic date night.
- Poolside. The only bar which has a pool and yes you can go for a swim (or more like a dip inside) too if the weather is nice. It's not deep so you don't have to worry too much about swimming.
- Changeroom bar. The change rooms that you use before swimming also have its own bar area.
- Penthouse. This part of the Ivy isn't open to the public. It's more of an event space that can be booked out for a lot of money.
Y. C.
My work's Christmas party was held at the Ivy Bar and it was a great experience! We all felt like celebrities, greeted by the staff on arrival and carried by them through the night. I loved the bar's decor, the food was very fresh and delicious with a huge selection of cheeses and other goutmet food.
S. C.
Great place for entertainment food drinks and a good night!! Ivy never disappoint ! With a large establishment with everything u need in a club to a restaurant! Thursday night free entry and really crowded! Saturday night pacha night paid entry but good crowd!
F. N.
A rectangular room in the CBD where smoking at one end is given preference to many people's inability to use the toilets due to them being on a lower floor ACCESSED BY STAIRS..... ONCE...WAS ENOUGH. I'D HAVE enjoyed it more with a tilted floor at a greater height than the club floor at Darling Harbour.
I'm becoming an old fogey...and dont you forget it
A. T.
Always a good location, atmosphere and well managed bar. Security guys can be arses though later in an evening, the roided up aggressive for no reason type. For this reason I'd not hang around.
S. K.
Trendy spot and a great location. Food was awesome and really good value for this level of quality and environment. Thai selection was delicious.
S. D.
I found it to be just little bit too crowded and drinks are so expensive. All other stuff like music and atmosphere are pretty awesome
D. R. L.
How can you not have a great night out here. One of the best party places in Sydney.
J. W.
Good value for the Thai menu, little less so for classic pub food. Can be annoying that food doesn't necessarily arrive together. Nice ambience.
J. K.
Great place to go for lunch, particularly if you're up for a beer as well.
The food is tasty and there's loads of choices.
A. G.
Great venue for events such as weddings engagements birthday parties food is great in all great day or evening parking in the building is available prior arrangements with management but must be out by 12.00 midnight
A. J.
Good club and bar, does get way too over crowded but has a pool and bar and you can go for a swim in between rounds. This is what australia is about. Tidy bit of skirt in there to
b. w.
Its alright. Upstairs with the pool is good. Always have a good night here. Bouncer was chatty and firiendly when I brought relatives. its pretentious but if you're here; what did you expect? love the hideous birds with too much bronzer, shire injected superlips and overly tight dresses.
D. C.
Best place for night animals! It rocks in every aspect!👌
C. V.
Good atmosphere and music. Nice sized dance floor, and the attendants kept the tables and the floors clean!
G. S.
Dance Floor; 8/10 (House downstairs, RNB at pool club), Drinks; 7/10 Nothing special Sydney prices, Ambience; 8/10 if you are looking for a place to let loose and dance.
Love it or Hate, the Ivy was, is and will remain a great, dirty night out. In its own sprawl, it is a reflection of what Sydney is; big, disorganised, a mishmash of different sounds, ethnicities and people all jumping up and down having a good time. It is for the everywoman, the everyman. And that is why it is great.
Come on a packed Thursday night and you will find it all; post work drinkers who have gone too far, backpackers from all corners, friends just wanting a drink and dance off, guys with the sole purpose of picking up, girls just having a girls night out.
If you are new to Sydney, go here at least once.
M. L.
I've always liked Ivy, albeit on corporate coin. My favourite is the steakhouse, though Pool Bar is a bit of fun on a Friday evening
J. P.
Expensive but you get what you pay for. The dancefloor at the change rooms is my favourite, great hip-hop and RNB, old school and modern.
T. W.
There's quite a lot of people, and it can get hard to move around even though the area is quite big. Drinks are expensive and the music is okay.
R. S.
Overrated place. Went on a Saturday night, A$40 entry, overpriced drinks (A$12 for a Jim Beam), okayish DJ and decent crowd after 10PM . There you go.
이.
Typical mainstream club for everyone but dance music mania. even Luude couldnt go hard bc of the mood that the venue tries to keep. if you just got into the dance music genre you could go. but dont expect too much from djs. they are trying too.
H. D.
Oh my god, this is the best bar/nightclub in Australia.
I came up from Melbourne to Sydney for a friends birthday party for the weekend and Saturday night we went to the Ivy. As someone from Melbourne who has a few friends that live in Sydney, the place has got a massive reputation. However, The Ivy is one of the few places that actually backs up it's reputation and goes far beyond. The four levels (either three or four, details of the night are slightly hazy), provided lots of fun, and despite the pool being very tempted, my friends were all very content to just drink and dance to the music.
Lots of people, but no one seemed too drunk to be a pain. Had a great night and can't wait to go back.
S. F.
Fun outdoor venue with pool. Great cocktails. Friendly staff. Excellent pizza. Perfect for afternoon chilling.
A. “.
Went to the pool club
Comfy couches, big music and good vibes
C. W.
Good food, nice setup and good service. Only negative was the music is way too loud to enjoy a conversation over a meal. Please drop the volume about 30% 😊
K. L.
It has a cool pool club area, but the dance floor is way too crowded and small, the bar is nice but was quite on 30th December Friday night 😂
O. H. W.
Food was fresh and delicious!
d. j.
The pool level is nice but the club downstairs needs a revamp big time.
J. K.
Great place to go for lunch, particularly if you're up for a beer as well.
The food is tasty and there's loads of choices.
s. k.
Had such a great time there. Spend around 9. months in Sydney and went there at least once a week.
A. L.
Palings is an easy to do spot for a mid-week lunch with colleagues while the options down the back (Felix, Ash St Cellars) lend themselves to fancier evenings and weekend meals. The Ivy Pool is a good spot for a big night out but don't expect much space or quality seating to sit and chat with your friends.
J. L.
Private rooms are great for functions and the staff is wonderful. The clubs underneath would not be my go to for a night out but aren't terrible or anything. Just not to my taste of party environment.
D. B.
Nice place to party
T.
Mixed experience but overall the vibe was good. But can anyone tell me which is the best night to go there
S. J. K.
Nice place for a corporate function. Good foods and responsive staffs.
S.
Incredible place in the city, nice and modern with top class interiors and a real vibrant feel to the whole area itself.
V. B.
Attended a Bollywood night party. Well designed club which gives the vibe of clubs in the US. Pretty decent crowd with good lineup of DJs. Ivy has become a go to place for anyone visiting Sydney. Really enjoyed the time here with friends.
V. p. t. W. e.
Great place had a Friday night out here. Loved the free sausage rolls. Great prices and great music. Friendly and helpful staff
L. (.
Amazing area with a lot of restaurants, different ambiances.
Delicious food

Thursday's ivy is a must-go for everybody searching for a good nightlife in Sydney. before 10pm free, afterwards 10 dollar. 3 dance floors, 1 pool, main stage is crazy
y. r. k.
No wonder in considering this place as one of the best bars and pubs in sydney. Food menu can be better but drinks and dance floor are the best!
M. G.
Is expensive for a night out but go on a Thursday its free entry on Thursday. The ivy is somewhere everyone must visit at one point whilst in Sydney, with two dance floor areas and a swimin pool on the roof its a pretty chill place, to dance mingle drinking and party. you could even take a dip in to the heated pool!
S. M.
Great restaurants, great bars, feel like a celebrity and 49% off all drinks before 7pm till the end of June '19. Holey Moley what's not to like?
N. T.
Great ambience! drinks slightly pricey though. Good crowd and good music. never disappoints!
S. C.
Great place for entertainment food drinks and a good night!! Ivy never disappoint ! With a large establishment with everything u need in a club to a restaurant! Thursday night free entry and really crowded! Saturday night pacha night paid entry but good crowd!
C. B.
Amazing place on Thursdays night! Crowded but so nice!
T. W.
There's quite a lot of people, and it can get hard to move around even though the area is quite big. Drinks are expensive and the music is okay.
K.
Liked overall experience. Great staff, lovely drinks.
A. H.
Nice place to have lunch during work.
D.
Luxury night club with an easy access price and an awesome rooftop
B. (. B.
Christmas party well spent.
The DJ was groovy the food was munchy the atmosphere was bliss.
Very enjoyable indeed.
N. W.
The view here is really pretty, especially at the pool bar with the colourful lights and cool atmosphere. It feels very up-scale and classy. Plus there are many different floors and cool places to explore, something to suit everyone. But it can get way too crowded and the floors get slippery which is a bit dangerous.
M. A.
This is place that you want to be if you are in Sydney, sunday pool ! always go for it. Drinks are really good, but a little expansive. there is a little down side in that place, no shots and double after 11pm. service is really good. there are two levels in IVy. bottom is house, the change room is RnB
T. B.
Ivy is massively hyped up in Sydney but not the best place to go out. It's got a lot of floors and a pool at the top but they shut the floors early and everyone ends up crammed downstairs. Thursday nights are free entry, and there's happy hour on a Friday. Good place for after work drinks, the music is good on the nights out but having one floor open when there's loads is quite rubbish
J. B.
Kia ora. Well it's certainly a surprise being from out of town to get greeted by "assessment" staff before u get into a building! lol but treat it like part if the experience and relax.
Once inside .. very very nice. Service is a little bit of the "have you decided yet" but so what that's part of the charm isn't it?
Overall a good night out, need to be dressed up and have patience with the odd Muppet but hey that's a night out for you and it foesnt detract from a glorious place quick service and good drinks.
D. M.
Best lighting & sound in Sydney!
N. D.
It's a club with a swimming pool. You have to visit it if you're going through Sydney. Also, the pizza restaurant on the top floor serves some of the best pizza I've had, I have no idea why it is sold inside a club and doesn't have a standalone shop.
S. N.
One the best clubs in Sydney. Includes a rooftop pool...Thursday night is free entry. Best time to visit...after 11 pm...open till 3 am
D. B.
The pizza - ok
The wine list - ok
The beer list - lacking badly
The croquettes - great
The service - fantastic
The sceno's - abundant.
D. N.
Restaurant opens to the pool area for a great summer atmosphere. Service was attentive and the food was good quality.
S. U.
Three differents floor with a pool in the last one and different style of music in each one !
It's a very good place for make a party !
S. C.
Always overcrowded and packed with music that is way too loud. Long lines out the front. If you enjoy a crazy busy nightclub then this is your place.
F. M.
It's a really nice nightclub and it's huge but they're not serving tequilashots and the bartender had no idea what he was doing when he made are drinks...
J. C.
Amazing Spanish Tapas Bar! Felt like I was back in Salamanca.
H. H.
Absolutely great place to get along on Saturday night. Expensive for entry and drink. But amazing place to party
M. C.
Efficient service, great soundtrack, comfy surroundings in a central location. Plenty to love though some may say the place lacks soul - like some of the suited punters there ...
J. P.
My favorite, favorite place for a night out! It's the number one night spot in Sydney, and it's not hard to tell why. Free french fries every hour on the dot makes it even better!!!
R. N.
Incredible area with many restaurants and bars. This is so well designed and definitely a place where I would come back
C. F.
Wednesday nights Bachata and Salsa! Fabulous venue with lots of space and good music. Should play more Bachata tho 😁 I truly recommend it.
C.
Good venue with great versatility from casual Bar, private functions, pool club days, club nights etc. Pacha on sat can get way too overcrowded and hard to dance.
F. C.
Pool club is fun!
Friendly staff and good drinks
g.
Probably up there as one of Sydneys best nightclubs. If there's a good dj on it's a great night. Gets crowded and drinks aren't cheap but as far as Sydney goes it's one of its better nightclubs
T. T.
Great bar and space, very high entry fee on Fridays and Saturdays so beware
G. C.
Been to a few dance parties here. A good complex with multiple levels. Only disappointment is too much security and police presence. Puts a damper on things.
N. B.
Had a function there and considering the prices they ran out of coke and lemonade at the pool bar. How does a bar run out of mixers?
R. A.
Happening place with multiple clubs in one place. Excellent music. Don't forget pool club in next building it's part of IVY
V. Y.
Most popular entertainment complex in Sydney. With a wide range of venues from small bar to night club, restaurant and tapas bar, pool club bottle shops, patisserie even florists etc.

From cocktails to fine dinning the Ivy has everything for you. Based on the concept of the infamous Playboy house, the Ivy host many amazing events ranging from the corporate, through to that of fashion and festivals. There are many different venues within, something to please just about anyone's taste!!

Attended a great event at the Ivy Room as part of the Google City Experts. The staff as you would expect where polish and professional. The event itself was a Spanish Flamenco based "Fiesta Nocturna". The seafood paella and sangria provided was sublime. There was also a fine selection of traditionally Spainish meats, cheeses and other canapés. There was so much left over we asked for a doggy bag, which they gladly provided. The room which was already nicely furnished was finished off for the event well. Great music and entertainment provided by the Flamenco Dancing School and Spanish guitar player. Thanks Google Local Sydney.

Great place. Amazing variety of venues. Staff always friendly and professional.

I find it will be difficult to find the words to describe Ivy Bar because this place is the most amazing place I have ever seen and gone in Sydney and Autralia. Since I came, I have been there all the Thursdays nights because it is free in this day and because you can find a lot of beautiful and chatty girl and make good friends.
k. d. b.
cool bar in the center of sydney, nice girls, young people.
good service, very crow on thursday because not need to paid cover.
saturdays, is Pacha party, usually you can see good dj's there.
they have some locker down stairs for and you can put your jackets or swimwear.
usually the people jump it to the pool like 2-3 pm, is a warm pool.
C. V. C.
Great venue for large and / or small groups to catch up.
G. G.
Great venue
Get amongst it

One the best clubs in Sydney. Includes a rooftop pool...Thursday night is free entry. Best time to visit...after 11 pm...open till 3 am
C. W.
Good food, nice setup and good service. Only negative was the music is way too loud to enjoy a conversation over a meal. Please drop the volume about 30% 😊
S. s.
Nice ambience for office parties and good food..
T. L.
One of those big venues that always good fun. Wednesday night was salsa, good crowd and good fun
K. K.
Good food. Not so sure about the self-service tables, process is a little chaotic
V. B.
Attended a Bollywood night party. Well designed club which gives the vibe of clubs in the US. Pretty decent crowd with good lineup of DJs. Ivy has become a go to place for anyone visiting Sydney. Really enjoyed the time here with friends.
D. W.
The bottle shop. Great location and reasonable prices and some quirky selections.
E. F.
Brilliant poolbar, nice service. A little pricey
A. S.
Very expensive drinks on a Friday night so bring plenty of cash. Some of the floors are pretty soulless and your herded around like cattle.
C. P.
Loved the Ivy Sunroom. Amazing breakfast and time spent for the International Women's Day. Friendly and great staff.
D. A.
Excellent service and awesome environment 👍
J. M.
It's a good damn club with some awesome music bands that play good music to dance on. The crowd here can me more on a weekend especially on a Friday night.
L. W.
So this is how it works in the evening.. $20 entry if you're ordinary looking, $10 if you're ok looking and you bargain and free if you're attractive. Dont be fooled though, the amazing, gorgeous looking creature with the clipboard has nothing to do with which catagory you fall into.
Look at the unatrractive, bald, short ugly man standing next to her. He is the barometer of beauty.. ironic hey!
A. S.
Most famous club in Sydney. There's one big dancefloor at the first floor, then you can take the lift and go up to the roof. There you will find a great pool and two dancefloors. On thursday there's no entry fee.
E. A.
Good club! Saw Timmy trumpet here on a Saturday and had the best night! Although drinks are a little too overpriced.
J. T.
Interiors were impressive.
Though it’s in CBD, It was a bit difficult to find the exact venue so better directions can be introduced to get easily located.
D. M.
Off the chain, best place to meet people. Have a drink and get down on the dance floor.
C. C.
Very nice service, delicious flavors, try out the pate or charcuterie plate and the espresso martini...so good!! I little bit expensive
R. M.
Thank you Amy for making our group feel so welcome and organising the private booth for me
Amazing guest relations 🙏🙏🙏
K. M.
I haven't been to Ivy on. Fri or Sun night but as a daytime venue it's great. Good food, good prices, good service, nice set up. I recommend this venue for lunch and afternoon drinks.
L. D.
The place has changed a lot since I was last there a few years ago. Blame the Sydney lockout laws. But still a classy place to entertain yourself.
J. C.
Wednesday salsa night. They also have a bachata / kizomba area on the upper level. Great music and vibes.
D. S.
Really beautiful and very well organised party venue! One of the best in Sydney! Definitively worth seeing it!

An amazing and Hiso bar that is located in the center of Sydney. Good taste of beer, food and cocktail. A wonderful atmosphere with awesome music rythme.
J. V.
That is, for sure, the best night club from Sydney where people can spend the best nights of their lives for free, listening good musics and drinking very nice drinks from all the world, paying no more than 10 dollars.

Had a great time!

If you want to dance and look for good music and Latino nights, I definitely recommend the Avy. ¡Un lugar para bailar hasta mas no poder!
J. L.
Huge dancing disco with five different levels and a pool. Usually organizing special events and bringing good DJs.
J. M.
I love Ivy but Ivy hates me. I send them an email, and did not receive the common courtesy of a reply. Why do you hate on me?
L. E.
Such a great bar to go to when in Sydney! Refreshing drinks and great music make this place a must do!
C. S.
pretty empty in a friday night when we went aye
R. F.
Free entry on Thursday night, therefore it is full of backpackers. You can actually jump in the swimming pool and the bar provides towels for free.
D.
Fantastic atmosphere, great music to dance to, expensive drinks, no entry fee this particular night.

Good club, staff is friendly and the bartenders are really attentive, gave it a four since I felt Argyle has an edge over this in terms of space.

Ivy precinct is really a place you must go in Sydney if you wanna have fun. It's just a bit pricy, but it's Sydney... everything is pricy here.
J. Z.
Friend had her 40th bday here, love it, food was great and staff was friendly. Bartender was very kindly!
T.
Mixed experience but overall the vibe was good. But can anyone tell me which is the best night to go there

Large venue for Saturday nights at Pacha, enjoyed the pyrotechnics on a very cold night. Great for functions and birthdays, very helpful and friendly staff.

M. R.
Bar is little costly, crowded and even entry fee of 25dollor and the worst part is nothing to eat here
J. H.
Typical night club. The levels were cool and it was open later so you could dance a lot longer then at other places.
v. s.
A place where u can enjoy with your friends and chill & relax.. on Thursday there is student night which is very very affordable for student and can have fun.
N. A.
One of the few remaining night clubs in Sydney, put on a good show and draw a good crowd, a little pricey though
