Great surprise as we had stopped for some grocery shopping on same car park. Live the atmosphere, the food, staff was extremely polite and above all great kids area with jumping castle, basket ball field and playground. Kids forgot they were hungry

We used the courtesy bus and was lucky enough to get Drew…what a fantastic bloke! Drew was on time, filled us in on some places to visit while here and could not have been nicer. Meal was nice in a very kid friendly environment.

Drew is an absolute legend! He came to pick us up in the courtesy bus and dropped us back off right at our tent. He made our stay a pleasure and was the standout of our trip. If you’re staying in the area, make sure you call the courtesy bus and ask for Drew. Thanks mate, was great to meet you :)

We were staying at a caravan park nearby and someone recommended it to us, as we were holidaying with our grandkids and family. We have been there twice and will be going again before we leave. Bus picked us up and delivered us back to the caravan park twice ( so far). Great service, food, drinks and entertainment for the kids. Also it is dog friendly, which is great if people are travelling with their dogs 🐕.

Had an absolutely amazing night here, the whole night was filled with great food and customer service. Starting out with being greeted at the door, then when ordering the girl behind the counter helped me and my husband pick what to have and with her recommendation we went with one of the specials, swordfish, she also checked on us during our meal to make sure her suggestion was everything she said it would be. (Which it was) Lovely bar staff and overall great night. Fantastic job guys, brilliant food and brilliant customer service, could not recommend enough.

Moonee Beach Hotel Congrats to the chef. We have had Chicken Parmi last 2 Mondays and we are very very pleased with our meals. Our son who is in his 30s and all he eats is Chicken Parmi said it is The Best. We have come from the Gold Coast and you are The Winner. Well done and Thank You. Awesome nachos and the sharpest pencils I've ever encountered at a pub. Someone obviously takes pride in keeping them pointy ✏️✏️✏️ Regular trivia games, heaps of stuff to keep the kids entertained, and awesome concerts. I almost had 'Moo' much fun!

Great place for the kids and family to sit and relax, however our hamburger patties were under cooked still raw in the middle. Returned to the bistro only to be asked whats the problem, my assumption is if they can't cook hamburger patties right what other meals are they under performing with this is just my opinion. Otherwise the venue was great for a catch up with family.

Our Hosts Nathan and Bree attended to all our needs. The weather came in bad and they changed everything to make sure that we were still looked after. The food was gone as soon as it hit the table, it was fresh and tasty. Everyone's preferences were catered for. We would totally recommend these guys for your work functions. Wow! What can I say 🤯 Had a splendid evening at the Moonee Beach Hotel. The bar staff were incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable. Three bar staff stood out to me; Matt, who is exceptionally charasmatic and rocks the Hawaiian shirt 😉 Hayley, is the queen of the pokies, and knows so much about beers especially sanctus beers. Billy is an absolute all rounda and it was a pleasure to be served by her ☺️ I will definitely be coming back!! The food, the service everything was out of this world!! If your looking for a spontaneous evening the Moonee Beach Hotel is the place to be at!

Plenty of things to do for kids. blow up castle, Basketball, movies, games, ping pong, fun games, and miniature golf. There is also good heating at night , occasional live bands and a good overall ambience. Only reason for the 3 stars is that last time we went for a birthday dinner and i found all our meals very ordinary. If just going to the bar for a drink, it is exceptional.

The best part of this hotel is the fact you can sit for an afternoon bevy, in the sun with you fur baby - Beer Garden only! Huge venue with lots to offer for families. Plenty of funny options on the menu at reasonable prices, and lots of kids activities including jumping castle, playground, mini golf, and basketball. Disappointing that the playground wasn't undercover though, our kids used it for 1 minute and said it was too hot. Otherwise a nice experience.

Absolutely sensational! one of the best family friendly taverns/pubs we have been to. there is so much outdoor play for the kids from a giant Jumping castle, b-ball, mini golf, rock climbing and an indoor playroom for colour in area. Super quick service! Food is not only able in price, it's delicious. So good I did not get a chance to take a photo. We will be back again whilst staying here and will add photos then. Great place and highly recommend 👍

Absolutely wonderful place. We had our 40th wedding anniversary there on Saturday 8th May...long lunch with our daughters, husbands and our 15 grandkids. Kid and family friendly. Owners and staff couldn't do enough for us...brilliant !!!!!! Same again this afternoon, just wife and I. The rest were on their way home. Highly recommend people visit the tavern. Looking forward to coming back. We're from Canberra....... don't hold that against us. 😎😎😎😎

I ordered a meal from the menu. 400gm rump steak served with potatoe chips and salad with pepper sauce. $30 Cooked vegetables with potatoe mash were a option. Fantastic place we went on our last night of our holiday with our family of 5 and my brother and it was awesome the kids had a blast on the jumping castle putt putt golf and ninja warrior setup outside while they waited for their food which came with a drink and ice cream for only $10 and the boys settled in to watch origin the food was delicious and the kids crashed hard after all the excitement and a belly full of food cant wait to go again

A very loud place to try and have a conversation with your friends. Crowded and kids every where. Great venue for young families but definitely dont go there if its a quiet dinner and conversation you want. Typical pub menu. Great place to take the children. There was s rock climbing wall, jumping castle, beach volley ball, basketball, movie room and mini golf. However, the price you pay for this comes in the form of overpriced food that really doesn't cut it. Plus the drink prices were above average. I will say that the staff were lovely and very helpful. I have it 3 stars but it should probably get 3.5.

They should have a bar out there when they have a band as its a pain going back inside for a drink. Great planing to have raised areas at the back of the room so if you want to sit and just drink you can still see the band.

This Tavern has a shuttle bus. We were staying at a caravan park some klms away. We rang them, they came and picked us up and bought us back when we were ready to leave. We had dinner here, recently becoming more plant based diet chose the vegetarian nachos, absolutely delicious, in fact the best I have had. Lovely and saucy. We shared a main and glad we did as it was a hearty serving. Meals are large serves.

I love that the kids menu had 2x gluten free options AND they were labelled as GF on the menu. 😁 Whilst there was only 1 option labelled GF on the adults menu the staff were very accommodating and happily made me a GF and DF steak sandwich when I supplied my own bread. They offered to do the same for a pizza.

They're going all in on the family friendly thing. Jumpy castle, play set, and kids movie room. The food can be hit or miss sometimes, but the schnity is always nice. I personally prefer more intimate places, as it can get pretty noisy sometimes. They have a lot of events going each month as well.
