If you are after a drink and some average food this is the place to go. Had some Friday drinks. It was busy but drinks were reasonably priced. Happy hour starts at 8pm with $10 Long Islands which isn’t bad. They also start the dance floor around 9pm.

5 star view, average bar food and dirty tables. Excellent prices and free parking if you spend over 30$

Overall my experience was good, went in with a table of 5 for lunch. Good range of drinks, good menu that is very reasonably priced. Only criticism I had was with the gentlemen behind the counter. When I asked for some sliced lemons in my drink, he just picked it up with his bare hands after handling money. I think in this day and age, hygiene and cleanliness should be paramount.

Walked in and was told to pick a table, when we found a table it was sticky, we had to go up to the bar to order, girl serving was kind, they only do mocktails to a certain time, there was only one server walking around collecting dishes and handing out food, our food took a little while and thankfully was cooked, sat inside and they played music that was way too loud, nice view if you sit outside but beware of seagulls. Overall I think they are just understaffed. Good view, good food.

The view from this bar is the harbor and the sunset! It's really beautiful. I ordered fish and chips and the taste is pretty good. The ambiance was all I needed, it's perfect for a casual date. The staff is responsive and the toilet is really clean!

Starting at 5pm on Thursdays the Pontoon Bar has pizzas on for $10 and great happy hour drink specials. The pizzas are delicious, we especially liked the pumpkin, arugula, feta and pine nut pizza. The service is fast and friendly. The only downside for us is they don't have a high chairs. Note the seagulls are crazy here so watch your food, we witnessed one swoop in and steal a wing right off a woman's plate 😆

After spending time in the city, my friend & I decided to take advantage of the $9.90 lunch special. I am a little tricky with food selections but they had no problems at all accomodating by menu changes. Food hot & delicious & served fast. Being able to enjoy food out is a luxury for me so today was great to be able to do it

Great relaxed ambience, sensational views right on Darling Harbour. Tasty food. Menu has a vast variety of meal choices. Kind helpful friendly staff. Fast efficient service. Lovely drinks selection with beer and cider on tap, many wines and top shelf plus many liquors and house options, also lots of bottle beers as well as bottled spirit selections and non-alcoholic too. Fresh open settings with indoor and outdoor seating. Easy to get to by public transport, plus many parking stations all around Darling Harbour.

Enjoyed a really nice meal here for lunch. Food was excellent accompanied by an obviously fantastic view right next to the water. Venue is huge with plenty of seating with screens on the wall showing various sports. Menu has plenty of variety with very competitive prices for lunch. Service was friendly. Come prior to midday to get the best seat as lunch time fills up quickly.

Fish & chips are not bad at all and are only $10 on Tuesday. The service is good as well. You can also order juice or other kinds of soft drinks to go with the meal. The view of this location is absolutely amazing. The vibe of this place is great with all the music playing. Perfect place to stay and take a rest after visiting the zoo and aquarium.

Food wasn’t terrible for the price, but definitely could be improved. It is one of the only places that has lunch under $10 which is nice if you’re balling on a budget. The chips were good and the place has a good atmosphere. Be careful sitting out on the patio section because the birds are quite intrusive.

Located adjacent to the water within darling harbour during the day this venue is great for casual drinks combined with a range of dining options. The view and atmosphere gives you a sense of warmth especially during the summer a great place to go with friends. At night it transforms into a night club with entry fee and sometimes very long lines.

We have always had a great experience at Pontoon bar. They have great specials and their food is really tasty. It turns into a club later in the evenings on the weekends, so go early if that's not your thing

I had no problem with the food or service, the guy serving us was fantastic. My only issue was with the facilities. The booths had ripped upholstery and Im not talking about small rips, giant sized where you couldnt even sit. The sink in the disabled toilet was about to drop off and there was a bucket collecting the water. But the views of Darling Harbour and the overall ambiance was fantastic, just needs a little bit of maintenance.

Young people's bar where the main attraction is to fill out the dance floor on Friday and Saturday night. Normally they charge $25 entry and play a mix of top 40 as well as old school throughout the night. Drinks are mid range around $7-8. Expensive for beers pretty close to standard for spirits and Wine so you're more or less up paying for the location. You tend to get a lot of people who don't come to the city that often going here.

This is your typical club/bar. Loud music and super crowded. It has a good dance floor and lots of room to sit in the back. Friday nights are free entry and the drink specials are pretty good. The open concept is cool as well as you look into Darling Harbour.

The mini burgers looked delicious but then they ran out of those as we ordered... bummer. So we decided to have the normal burger which also looked appetising... Yum! But then we were told it would be a 45min wait... Really! Then we got them in about 20-25mins... That's better! My burger was tasty... Good. My partners burger was not cooked properly... Not so good.

The music here is LIT!! This was the only place where I really really enjoyed the music. I knew every song and it was easy to dance to. The only downside is that it gets very crowded. I would also double check the prices before going. It's $10 only on Friday. Otherwise it's $25.

The food is not that great. for $10 I think you can get somethong better if you walk to other restaurants. The place is big and therw are a lot of seats that can host huge groups. Great restaurant facing darling harbor. Fish and chips are the most sought after at this joint. If you do not want to splurge money but at the same time have a good dining experience enjoying the view of darling harbor this is the place! They even have a sign that screams that you can have a meal at just $10. I must say they live up to that claim.

Decent bar on the harbour. The couches are fairly comfortable, but looking a bit tattered. Drinks are reasonably priced, and service is fairly quick, though there seemed to be mixed information from different staff - we asked if they were doing cocktails, and one bartender said yes and handed us a cocktail menu, then when we ordered from another bartender they said they weren't serving any cocktails... Huh? Still, other than this, it is a nice venue with a nice harbour view.

Booked this great place, at random, for our twin sons 18th bday dinner. Sat. night , party time, and in we waltzed, with 14 , 18 year old, very excited boys and our birthday twins ! What a fantastic night! All the staff were so obliging, helpful and happy . They provided us with a tab for drinks, great parmies, and a great atmosphere. Even the security guy checking ID was so friendly and the DJ gave the twins a big shoutout as well !!! We could not have planned it better if we tried. A roaring nightclub on the weekend and a subdued restaurant during the week. I booked in for a 40 person party on a Wednesday night and the manager was very accommodating in making it exactly as I wanted it. The music want quite to my liking so he invited me backstage to select the mix.

It's a good place to relax and get some pub food, and if you can get some good seating outdoors, then you might even get a good view. The only problem I had was that the Caesar salad was a bit bland, and we were sitting indoors and it had more of a 'sports bar' ambiance inside, and I wasn't feeling sporty at the time. Overall, I'd say it's good for catching a few drinks, but I'm not a fan of the interior.

A night out at pontoon is always fun, pontoon is popular amongst students with many of my friends celebrating birthdays at the club. It is very open with good harbour views while you dance. The hot food is also perfect for filling up, detoxicating and very satisfying drunk and sober. It isnt the best club I've been to but it definitely isnt bad.

Went to Pontoon Bar last week. If you are looking for a "Club" then this isnt your place. But if you are looking for a place to go and relax with some friends on a Friday night, then I would would tell you to go for it. Again with any of these bars, it does get pricey. The view though is to die for on Darling harbour which kinda makes it okay.
