R. Y.Absolutely amazing food!! It was our first stop whilst staying in Robertson and has definitely left a great impression. Staff were friendly from the moment we walked in, produce was fresh and cannot fault any of the dishes we ordered. Will be visiting this place again before we head home.
J. D.Food was delicious! Steak, Spaghetti, and fresh Salmon fishcakes were outstanding. Service on a busy Sunday was a little haphazard ... About 10 minutes between first person served and others served. Sitting outside on the deck was delightful.

Service was excellent, very easy to order drinks and food at the bar, friendly staff delivering the food and clearing tables. Food was very fresh and hot. Definitely recommend and best to book especially on weekends.
P. O.What a great discovery in Robertson. We had originally intended to find the pie shop but saw the Public and turned around and called in.
Really pleasant staff and as luck would have it, there was a "pie of the day" on offer. A steak and pale ale pie, served in a dish with pastry lid and mash and gravy on the side. Steak was tender, just a few veges and a stellar taste.
We sat out front on the veranda and chilled out to some soft country music...not normally my thing but theirs was a good mix and made for great ambience.
Give it a go and see for yourself next time you're passing, don't just wave and point. Stop, turn around if you need to and head on in.

s.It's a pretty place with a rustic feel. But while booking we didn't realise the bathrooms are shared. They don't provide spare keys so getting in and out is hard if you come with people.

We were married at the Private Acreage and held our Reception in the function room with the help of the amazing team at the Robertson Public house and kitchen.
We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at the Robertson Public house and kitchen who contributed with Communication, Service, cooking and setting everything up for us.
Everyone who attended have not stopped saying how great the food and service were during the night we all had the best time.
My Partner and I wanted to say a massive thank you to Sally who helped Coordinate our wedding Ceremony and Reception, your friendly demeanour and professionalism really made the whole process stress free and easy. Thank you for helping us organise our wedding In three months.

To the Bar and Service staff , Thank you for helping make our night stress free and enjoyable, your friendly attitude and fast service was greatly appreciated I have previously worked in bars and wedding functions and understand what it takes to work long hours and short turn over periods for set up and clean up at the end of the night. It was great to see you all the next day with big smiles on your faces.
The Cleaner – Thank you for helping me get in contact with Sally the day of the wedding with RSVP issues i was having, you were very helpful the morning after as well, our Room and facilities upstairs were very clean and tidy. I was ecstatic the morning after with refreshments available to us as well.

G. V.We had our wedding here over the weekend and couldn’t recommend it enough! Sally & all the staff were extremely accomodating throughout the 12+ months leading up to it. We originally had to cancel due to covid however it was never an issue and thankfully we were never out of pocket. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff on the night were extremely friendly & all reports from our friends & family have said the same. We had our ceremony at the acreage & it was just beautiful, the owners of that were always very accomodation & pretty much allowed us free range of the space to do rehearsals etc.
my family stayed upstairs the night of the wedding, rooms were beautiful & very clean.
Will be recommending Robertson Public House to everyone.

Many of our guests went out of their way to tell us how great the staff were and how delicious the food was. We really couldn't have asked for more.
P. S.Best. Pub. Ever. The staff are really nice and friendly and the food is spot on. We came on a Saturday, it was busy but our meals were super quick (maybe 20 mins?). We ordered a parmi and a pie. Couldn't finish either. I've had a parmis all over Australia and pub pies all over England and this place is top of our list for both! They even packaged up our leftovers and we took them home. No charge, no hassle, no worries. We travelled an hour to get here... now I've been, I'd travel a lot further.

L.I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Robertson Public House and couldn’t recommend them enough, my wedding was beautiful and we got lots of compliments on how rustic and beautiful the set up was. The garden was magical and Sally the event manager made everything so easy to plan. I had my date booked pre COVID and she kept in contact throughout and kept me updated with the new rules and regulations, made everything a lot easier than expected planning a wedding in a pandemic, the staff on the night were lovely too. Food was delicious!

M. D.Atmosphere ++. Well set out for a building from the 1880s. One of my favourite places in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Roaring fire in the public bar and not too many televisions. Good service. Two dining areas, one formal and one informal. Tab and sports area. Outside seating. Has its own parking area and disabled access is from this area.
F. L.On Saturday, 21 December 2019, we had a family Christmas lunch at Robertson Public House.
The venue provided a great space for our large family group and was particularly good for the children.
We were impressed by the many options available to those with food allergies. The options were clearly marked on the menu and the kitchen staff were flexible when catering to our particular dietary requirements. Everyone seemed really happy with their meals.
I was particularly grateful to the staff for their great service. I was one of the last to leave the venue and due to some issues with bush fires in the area, I had concerns relating to road closures etc. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I was confident getting home and even offered a discounted rate on accommodation should I need it.
I would definitely recommend Robertson Public House to families looking for a relaxed, child friendly venue.
d. o.Very cute pubby decour inside... Interesting menu with some pub food / Japanese fusion not sure if this is the norm on the east coast but it was the first time I saw. And the chips were crunchy the bartender had a flanny on and everyone was say g'day g'day mayte ... Sick time. I would go here again
J. B.We had our wedding in October this year. They could not have made the process of organising a wedding any easier. They were easy to communicate with and very organised. They were so easy to work and were willing to customise the package we wanted for us. They made our day feel seamless. Our guest loved the atmosphere, venue and the food (large portion and delicious).
If you want an easy wedding to organise these are the people to use, they take all the hassle out of your special day. We can’t thank them enough.

From the first phone call to the establishment , I spoke with a fantastic staff member Lewis, he was amazing . My booking was made with ease Lewis was full of information , answered all my questions , booked us into their restaurant both nights for dinner, and the service, food and friendliness was amazing.
Our rooms were relaxing, homely and cosy, very well appointed.
For a young man , Lewis does an outstanding job Running the Robertson Public House, it’s great to see a young man so passionate about his job and full of charisma.
We all will definitely come back and stay here again.

J. S.Adrian took over a couple of years ago and the place soared in atmosphere, quality of service and the food became really first class. We recommended the place to everyone. In fact the place was first choice for my 60th in Feb 2017 and about 50 of us had a great night. Sadly, the last few times we have eaten there we have been disappointed, but we put it down to maybe an off night.
We arranged to meet friends there last Saturday night for drinks and dinner. The Xmas in July special Turkey and Glazed ham was so disappointing. The quality of food was like a meal that had been prepared earlier and reheated on the plate. Call me a whinger if you like but it grates on me when wait staff lean over me when I haven't finished to collect someone elses plate.
The old local needs a decent boss on site more often.

J. L.A pub nice enough for a wedding, this is a little gem in the NSW countryside. With an full range of beers on tap and apparently a Good Food Guide hatted chef in the kitchen, the fare is surprisingly good. Also if you're passing through and need a room then they have them as well. The rooms are bare bones though. Just a bed and a TV really. The showers and bathroom is communal. More for the backpacker type than a honeymooner.

We had booked a table for 13 people at 12.30. On arrival we were advised of several things on the menu that would not be available that day. Ok. So we decide to order straight away before more dishes became unavailable. Our lunch then arrived about 2pm. Luckily there was the great indoor play area to keep 4 young children happy. Then of course by the time we had eaten our meals, the coffee machine had been turned off!
It's a popular venue but it was school holidays, leading on to what for many would be a long weekend with Anzac day just round the corner. Surely the management could have realised it would be busy and act accordingly. It wasn't as if we had just dropped in. The place was packed. We were very disappointed and I wanted to let someone know our displeasure. Hoping next time will be better organised.

Last time I went there, played the pokies in a cold wet room full of smokers.
Not sure why management assume anyone who wants to play pokies wants to sit in a crappy smoking area. To be fair, they do have one of those toilet air freshener squirters spraying smell on you every ten minutes so you can go home smelling like smoke and public toilets.
