Went to the Royal for dinner on the 20/11/21, had a reservation for 5pm. Ordered the pork loin. What a sensational dish from start to finish. Great portions and a spot on combination of flavours. I went on to have the sticky date pudding for dessert. That chef is amazing 👌🏽

I have worked in customer service for over 20 years and I often go out of my way to be a bad customer in order to assess venues. I would like to commend the lovely staff on their service, in particular the gorgeous redhead who’s name I have unfortunately forgotten. Hey guys it's dazz I'm always there Wednesday nights. One of my favourite places to eat plus everyone that works there are amazing and very polite great customer service 😀 It's one place iv been where I don't feel like I'm judged. If I had the wealth I'd probably buy the royal and keep everyone who is currently working there. Plus the women are very nice and absolutely beautiful. One of my favourite places

If ordering from the table you can't change any item, or take off something you can eat due to allergies but it doesn't tell you to go to bar to order special order. Staff friendly and food was very good.

Dropped in for lunch with friends. Venue clean and tidy, staff polite and well groomed. Had the T Bone steak chips and salad. Steak cooked as requested, salad had a very nice mustard style dressing, chips hot and nicely cooked. Recommended for lunch, quiet and plenty of space, good well priced beers and wine.

The venue and the menu are hard to top Vs the other pubs in Camden. Inviting and warm with a reasonably priced menu. Regular weekly Menu specials. Enjoyed the Sirloin (cooked medium-rare), it was an excellent choice. The beer selection could be better. Craft beer selections of any sort are missing.

We went there on Saturday night 8th May for Dinner and there was a solo singer there, tried to get the name of the Artist , but no Employee or Manager knew the name if the Artist playing. I went to The Royal last night. I have to say the food was excellent when we finally received it. Was rather a long wait. The entertainment ( A young fellow called Adam I believe) was absolutely terrible. The guy was half hour late then bearly sung 3 songs which were not covers and he didn’t engage the audience at all. He spend more time stuffing about with his equipment than actually singing. Very disappointing!

Recently renovated with a very modern feel. We came here for a weekend lunch and the live music was amazing. It wasn't too loud that you couldn't hear each other talk. It brought a really nice vibe. Keep up the live music! The only thing is the food is very expensive. We came here a second time and after browsing through the menu we decided to go somewhere else because it wasn't within our budget.

We loved this hotel! I had the pork belly burger which was so succulent and came with the most delicious chipotle sauce on the side, and my boyfriend had the schnitzel which he said was perfectly cooked. We also loved how there was a lot of space in the bistro and the tables werent packed in like sardines. We'll be back for sure.

Came for a birthday dinner. Meal sizes were great, staff were friendly and prices are great. My first time I came was a few years ago and I was pleased with my most recent visit as the eating area has been refurbished (I know it was done a while ago but I haven't been since change of management). Chicken schnitzel and steaks were great!

Stopped in for lunch on the weekend. Food was ok, layout of the dinning area was nice. Was really hopping for it to be a good place to visit on a regular basis as it is not to gar from home. But the bar staff were more interested in each other than the customers, had to wait for them to finish their chat and a mouthful of chips before we were served, very disappointed.

Phil the security guard is an example that all security guards should follow. He handles patrons with empathy that makes this place a fun pub to hang out. I have watched how he handles people all the time and he is amazing. His attitude should be taught to all security guards.

We had an early booking for 12 people for lunch. Good choices on menu, all meals very tasty and well presented. Wait staff very efficient and friendly. Family friendly. A lovely way to spend an afternoon. We'll be back.

The recent refurbishment has massively improved this hotel into a much better space. The food is very good. Our tasty shared plate slow cooked Lamb was late (our friends had almost finished their meals) but the offer of free drinks was a sign of excellent customer service. Odd that with table service you still order and pay at the bar.

I was in the mood for a steak so we decided to go the The Royal. They have a selection of steaks on offer with a choice of two sides and choice of gravy. I decided to go with the asparagus and crushed kipfler potatoes. The meal satisfied my hunger for meat and the flavour gave me foodgasims. I was moaning too much and making my partner jealous that he didn't order what I had. I was nice and shared some with him. While this was a fantastic meal and loved there were a few options for different styles of potato not just mash and chips, I would like more vegetable choice not just asparagus or corn cob. My partner had the parmigiana and chips. I was disappointed they were shoestring fries and not thick cut steak fries. The furnishings are modern and stylish. There is plenty of room for big groups or intimate dinners.

I just love this pub in the quaint country town of camden, nsw. I come for the food, amazing burgers, steaks and each day of the week has a different special, for example Wednesdays are 12 dollar rump steak days. Their fries are super thin and crispy, and I love that they offer a fried halumii burger for vegetarians. A huge eating area with booths, leather couches around coffee tables and of course normal seating . Now this is what stands out the most to me . The bathrooms. Please see my photo. Every single toilet is decked out like this. Extremely generous and trusting for pub decor. I highly recommend for the lunch crowd
