My friends and I had the BEST time yesterday for Melbourne Cup! The table and venue was beautifully decorated, food and cocktails delicious, friendly service, betting facilities onsite and all very Covid safe - we really couldn’t ask for more! Well Sackville Hotel in Rozelle have certainly upped their sour beer & cocktail game since my last visit. After proving to NSW Police Force I was from Inner West Council and not violating public health orders for “freedom”, I stocked up on both. Started off the afternoon pandemic drinking with the Hope Estate brewery’s Pink Grapefruit Imperial Sour. It’s got a Warhead-like sharpness that works as an appetite inducing aperitif. Moved on to the Killer Beez, a Patrón Tequila, Mezcal and habanero-based cocktail that is meant to be served with a chilli salt rim. It’s well balanced and very smoky with quite a decent kick. We’ve now got better drinking at home through pandemics well in hand.

What can I say. Juicy, perfectly cooked steak and fries with the second dish a crunchy, yet moist Schnitty, again with epic fries. Beers were cold and refreshing and lucky to have live music as well, what a treat! Slight drawback, music was literally so loud no one could talk! Apart from that, bloody great place to stop by.

The pub is a local fixture for punters, neighbours, friends, workmates and families who all contribute to an amazing atmosphere. Great looking renovations improve the bistro and the food is good. Staff are hard working and run a pretty tight ship all round :)

I dropped in for dinner. There was a small mistake with my order, and the staff almost had a spider-sense that something was up (that's service!). They sorted it out and the burger & chips was worth the wait! (the proportions were so if you ate the lot you won't feel sick, and everything was cooked just the right amount, even the chips had optimal crispiness :) ). If you want to know more than what I ate, the pub is positioned amongst a cluster of restaurants, so feels part of a dining community. There's a good lively but not overwhelming ambience. Even the front door security were friendly. No weird smells or sterile / bland interior. If I can find more time to get out, I will be back :)

My family and I live locally and experienced the best customer experience tonight thanks to Jasmine. We were asked to move tables to accommodate a 40th birthday party which ended up being larger than planned. So my family and I moved at the first convenience which Jasmine noticed. She pleased both parties by freeing the area as well as supplying us with a complementary drink and thanking us for relocating with our meals. We all enjoyed our meal, we will come back.

Stopped off late in this pub around 5 ish for a drink and some food and it was pretty loud. Lots of people almost 80% full. The atmosphere was great. I think there was a game on today which made it even more lively. People are friendly but not sure if because it was busy, the bar girls looked a bit stressed. I think they could do with a holiday. But all in all, an up beat crowd and fun place to hang and get to know the locals.

The pub’s have reopened and the staff here were very accommodating. We were happy to wait as we were a group of 7, and the manager was eventually able to make room for us even though we were walk ins. Great service!!

We have been loyal Sackville customers for years and have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere and staff. We visited last night and arrived just before 6pm, mid week, not busy - thought it would be perfect for a family meal with our 18month old. The recent renovation is great, but it seems the bistro area which permits kids only has 2 child friendly tables - is suitable height for a highchair. One long table reserved and another with people already sitting on it. Nearly all other tables were empty, and they were high bar style tables which are far too tall for highchairs. They have ample highchairs, which is great, but they don't have a tray so there's no way our daughter could have eaten there if the table was the wrong height . The staff tried to help by suggesting the lounge but that's not really much better, it's not like we go out together all that often so a lounge isn't comfortable for a meal. They need to bring more low tables into the dining area to be infant friendly, or just heads up, it's not an ideal pub for infants who need highchairs.

This is the bar you want to be in Rozelle when you can. Modern furnishing with a great selection of beers, this pub is comfortable for any time of the week. The bistro offers good pub food, but the Sunday roast is where you want to come in. Keep an eye on the West Tigers games, because if they are playing, the pub will be packed.

Pub area out the front has loud racing playing throughout - definitely not a good vibe here. Sat out the back for lunch - food took longer than expected considering there weren't many people there. Steak burger was very chewy and touch - full of gristle. Staff were friendly and place was clean.

The Sackville has undergone a transformation in recent years to become a nice trendy pub. They have a wide range of drinks though the spirits and cocktails seem a bit overpriced. I've always liked this place because it's nice to go to for a quiet drink or a loud party often it caters to both at the same time.

One of my favourite watering holes, and a great spot for an afternoon beer with your mates and to watch the footy. The pub caters to a mix of crowds, and has a real mix of feels, as the Saturday afternoon (blokes watching footy, and groups having predinner drinks) is quite different to Saturday night (when it's almost night club like). It's good to see them starting to add more craft beers as well, with recent addition of Lord Nelson Three Sheets - Stone and Wood Pacific Ale please team. Love the Stellas there too.

(Translated) A very large room, with several rooms and as many counters. Plenty of seating and plenty of room to move around. The beer is very good. Unfortunately, like all clubs of that genre, the music is very loud and you can't speak. (Original) Una locale molto grande, con diverse sale e altrettanti banconi. Tanti posti a sedere e c'è molto spazio per muoversi. La birra è molto buona. Purtroppo come tutti i locali di quel genere la musica è molto alta e non si riesce a parlare.
