Great venue to try out some beers, really nice and welcoming staff, they are all very helpful. I always get a park too. The paddle is great value and not too expensive. Lots of seating inside and had a burger van out the front on a Thursday Night which you can eat in The Beer Bar which was delicious. Great venue to have in the complex.

This is the first bar I have seen which uses this system. 42 types of beer which can be served in full glasses or in tasting glasses along with up to 5 other beers of your choice. Not a beer person? No problem, neither am I, they have great cocktails, wonderful wines, and non alcoholic beverages as well. While they don’t have a kitchen there’s likely to be a food truck/stand outside their venue which serves great food with a new truck each week. This small business definitely deserves a highlight in this community.

My absolute new favourite place. If you love beer of any kind come here! A huge array of different types of beer for all tastes. Just a simple concert but amazing to actually see it done. A rotating tap of locals beers with new themes coming monthly. Be back in a heartbeat.

Highly recommend! Amazing selection of beers 42 beers that rotate every month. Staff and owner were all super friendly and knowledgeable, and they took the time to introduce themselves and recommend an awesome selection of beers. Will definitely be back soon.

This neighbourhood really needed a pub - any pub! - but 42 taps of fresh Australian craft beer absolutely exceeds expectations. I visited on what turned out to be the first day of trading; the space is still undergoing iteration (e.g. the last of three murals hasn't been painted yet) but it's exciting - the staff are excited, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and they were already turning over a fair bit of business. There's food in the vicinity which you can bring in and eat in the venue. It's a nice, airy, 'warehouse chic' space which I expect will develop a patina of character over the next little while. Great that Steve and comrades have taken the initiative here; not a moment too soon :)

Finally, a Taphouse in Alexandria! Not only does this place have an incredible range of delicious beer, but the staff are polite and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is relaxed (and dog-friendly), and the owner Steve seems to really have a passion for contributing to the craft beer community that has been developing in the area since Bracket, 2Halfs, Frenchies, Rocks Brewing, Yullis and Atomic landed in the area. With the rotating taps, it’s a great way to taste new drops from breweries outside of the immediate area, and gives the best reasons to come back. So happy to find my new local.

Great location, take away food available next door at the Fish market, the golf place next door is cool (indoor driving range bar) Great range of beers for everyone. If there's any complaint, wish the prices of the beers were listed, but I guess most people don't care what they're paying.

The vast menu of 42 tap beers is a rapidly evolving collection of NSWs best small batch boutique brewery offerings. Seven taps will change each week meaning there is always something new to satisfy the fussiest of beer believers. From Draught and pilsners through to darks stouts and desert beers, ales pales indian and others, The Beer Bar is your next must try watering hole. It's located near the iconic butcher, The Meat Emporium... Coincidence? That's up to you.

We paid a very quick visit and were very happy we did. Lots of beers with a very easy to follow menu and icons. Some spirits and wines on offer also. You are also allowed to order food from the seafood restaurant next door. Fantastic value for money on the paddles.
