We had office Xmas drinks at this lovely venue and enjoyed the service despite current staff shortages in Aus!! They served us delicious canapes on time and they were flawless in their service delivery & customer care!! The location is easy to find and very convenient for any catchup with friends or meetings. Ppl - Just a reminder to reciprocate with respect and patience towards our hard working staff in all industries 😊...

I've always wanted to try this one and I regret not trying it before. Cozy with great staff. food is unique and delicious. the bun of the burger is so soft and it fills you up. good $15 lunch deal. I Will definitely comeback.

Mediocre bar. Food is reasonably priced but only reasonably tasty. The guacamole for example is obviously an attempt at Asian fusion food, however it’s pretty much just eating avocado that tastes like sesame oil. Not bad, just not what you expect and not in a refreshing way, just an odd way. Cocktails were also just ok. The place had a constant but fluctuating in strength smell of sewerage drain which is due to the old fixtures. That is not the bar’s fault at all, it’s just a bit off putting when eating. The beer selection was good.

I’ve finally found a place in Sydney I want to make my local because they have a brilliant selection of drinks and the best service. Just came back from Melbourne and have been craving a place like this. Sampled 3 whiskeys I’ve never tried before and that were not on the menu. The right balance of attentiveness and leaving us alone to chat through the night. Will definitely be back and wish there were more places like this one !!

Best beef burger ever! Decent lunch special. Pay for lunch and get one free drink. A cute little bar with so much character in it. Today i tried their daily special Wagyu steak for $15 and fish and salad. The steak came out too cold so we asked for cooking more, waited 45mins in total, it was okay but i prefer their burgers. Update2019: they have 15% off on whisky on Wednesday! New menu is also goooood!

The burgers were delicious! Great beef patty, fried chicken had the perfect crunch, chips were well seasoned, not oily and crisp...loved the garlic dip for the chips, though I'm not a garlic fan..made my day =)

Nice place, u wouldn't even noticed when walking down the street but once inside there it is quite amazing, I ate the barramundi and the pulled beef tacos and were amazing... As a suggestion I would only request to sell a mix of three different flavour tacos... btw, good service from the guys in the bar...

Great Vibe. Good service. Nice foods! Staffs are friendly and chill. They have a range of Japanese whiskies-Hakushu, Hibiki and other Japanese single malt.

Great old Heritage Listed Building which is now a Pub / Function room. We attended an intimate 60th Birthday function on the top level. The canapes and Finger food was plentiful and tasty. The service was very good as was the Company. A great night had by all in a lovely setting.

I held my boyfriends birthday party here last weekend. Although I was happy with certain aspects such as the venue itself and its warm atmosphere, I was disappointed in quite a few ways. We had picked out the food to receive as part of the package we paid for, and as per a number of guests feedback, many (if not all?) did not receive the popcorn cauliflower. Guests also mentioned not feeling there was much food and left feeling hungry, after being reassured by the owner upon booking that food is never an issue. It was a hassle to get a knife to cut the birthday cake and when it came to ten minutes prior to our bottomless drinks ending, bartenders stopped serving guests which made many unhappy. Gemma upstairs was friendly and did a great job, however found the other server to be quite rude and not understanding. I tried explaining some of my concerns the night of, but felt like I wasn't heard and once the bill was paid, shuffled out the door. The owner also told me he would call on the Monday (now Wednesday) to check in on how our experience was but I never got a call. It has the potential to be a good venue for events but with issues such as these, I personally left feeling disappointed and would probably not have another event here unfortunately.
