Always cosy and often lively! Always a great place for a beer, whether it's watching the sun set while sitting out the front, chilling in the pool room with friends or anywhere in between. Lovely owners and staff!

It's a spacious place for friends get-together. We can always grab a tabele whenever we come. The staffs are nice and friendly. When it comes to the food, most tapas were good, I would say the main dish were average.

Good local pub with always friendly service and quite good food. They have a really interesting variety of plates, the good is definitely above the average pub, some of the plates are really excellent. They also have good offer on Saturdays and Sundays of two schooners with a tapa, which reminds me a tradition back home in Spain; excellent way to have a few beers without getting wasted :)

this is a nice pub, and has really revitalised the area. food is very tasty. there are 2 areas where the mgt and staff must lift their game: 1. smoking outside at tables in a clearly designated non-smoking area 2. people of footpath blocking free movement of pedestrians.

Nice decore. Plenty of space. Meaning you can engage with the people around you. Limited beer selection. Lunch not very busy therefore quick service. My group ordered 5 different meals and they were a good serving size and tasty. Cheap prices for most meals. Recommend a visit.

I used the back room for my birthday drinks last week end and it was a huge success! Most importantly the staff were all soo friendly and accomodating of any requests. They helped us set up some music and provided the equipment. They allowed my young nieces and even my small dog to join us. The meals were delicious and came quickly. The room itself was super cosy, but big enough to accomodate my friends. All in all I would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you Matt for your hospitality 😊

A drink with my son after he's finished work anywhere is enjoyable, but The Eveleigh Hotel possesses that old fashioned pub conviviality. Great location, decor and local habitat. 4 stars.

A pub that is Darlington and in residential area. There's enough seating and has got character. The wine is very pricey though being at 12 a glass. There's better pubs in the area and I won't be rushing back.

Went to catch up with a mate who's a Redfern inhabiter and a good recommendation it was. Service from staff was good as the bargal remembered our round which was refreshing versus the usual stale city sitch. The WedPM $12 chicken schnitty was good value and I ordered a side on Calimari with good garlic aoili which actually tasted fresh and not frozen but who knows?! There is a chillen lil 2 person window seat which faces the bike depot which is a great spot if you wanted to cosy up to another human. Good streetside seating as well (footpath/pavement drinking a rarer commodity in Sydney by the day) Carlton and Reschs on tap will keep the men of meagre taste happy whilst craft beers and a decent imported range in bottles will suit those of a classier taste. Unfortunately our Carlton/Reschs rounds were served in James Squire tall straight glasses which is pretty much sacrilege - Headmaster fan here. Will beer again. 4.25*
