The food was good. One staff member was attentive and responsive but the others didn't seem to care when you stand at the bar or like they didn't want to work there. And mind you the place had maybe 12 people in it including my group of 4. Not like there was lost of people to take care of. I don't like to leave bad reviews but it's experience based writing. Just happy the food tasted good.

Over the period I have been coming for the food, I have had positive vibes! The chef are on point with the food they are serving and the staff are nice and attentive to their customers which makes the pub welcoming and family friendly. Wow. Exterior is nothing like the interior. Awesome burger and calamari, fresh and the game changer was not oily or dry. Excellent friendly staff. First time but will be back again. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Decent local pub, good spot to grab a bite and a beer for people who work in the area. The restaurant seems to have changed hands a few times over the last few years, and the food is hit and miss. I'd say miss the fish & chips, and the schnitzels, and hit the nachos, burgers and pizzas.

not to bad. The lunch special is really good. but Salad sauce is a disadvantage. The salad sauce was sour in my point. Also, the chips tasted sour because the salad and chips were together. If you develop this point, the menu will be wonderful.

Rydalmere social golf club had our presentation day on the 19th of February the staff were great & John the Manager had everything ready when we got there, would recommend the pub to any body wanting to celebrate anything

I’ve been here three times. Twice for a meeting with a client and once with the family and friends. The place is very large and spacious. The customer service by the staff is friendly. The food is decent.

This is more of an "after work drinks" kind of establishment for the local industrial workers. Patrons mostly consist of middle aged guys in fluoro vests. It's not exactly a 'family' joint but the meals are good quality pub grub and you can get cheap beer. A schooner for under $5 at happy hour and $20 schnitzel. It's not fancy but the food is fresh and well prepared.

Great place to come and chill. Adhering to covid restrictions, you will need to scan in before entering. Great to see and very professional staff and bouncers. Polite atmosphere and good selection of outdoor/Indoor space with a VIP room too. Great parking too.

Excellent meals enjoyed. Ribs tender, wifes steak cooked to her liking and a reasonable price. Service was good. We were there for lunch. The toilets are a downer. Really do need to renovate. Very dark and tiles are cracked. A very pleasant dining experience.

Love the outdoor courtyard. Food is great. There aren't many pubs in the suburbs near me, and this is probably the nicest one of them, I recommend it.

Went down to the family inn for some drinks in the afternoon, had a pretty good experience. Venue is well maintained, spacious, with plenty of compartments to suit the need for whatever you're there for, to watch the game, to play pool, bet on sports, have a drink with your mates, or get a feed. The staff are friendly and customer satisfaction seems to be of high importance to them, which is always a must in hospitality. They also seem to have plenty of draws and events, keeping themselves orientated to the Parramatta and surrounding community. I'd definitely recommend it, could use with some facility updates and more air conditioning though!

A great pub for some relaxing drinks. The drinks are relatively cheap and they serve jugs. The food is actually pretty decent as well, with a large variety of items to select from for a reasonable price. The outdoor area is great, but just watch out that you can't eat outside after 3 pm due to the new laws. Plenty of TV's to watch sport in and on Saturday there is a raffle to win a meat tray

It's definitely open for business even though it looks like it was shut down and boarded up in the ok late 80s, If you can get past the decor, the rough patrons (it's the area not the pubs fault) and the weird smell you will find good value lunch specials and accommodating staff, beer is a bit expensive though so I don't bother having a drink there. Free water is available at the bar.

We went to celebrate a birthday and have dinner at Mamma Maria's. Great food which we all enjoyed but the food took forever, even though the place wasn't crowded. I had the Haloumi Salad which was fantastic and the other 4 had the Ribs X 2, the Schnitzel & Pasta (a Huge serving) and The Pan Fried Barrimundi with Prawns which looked and smelt delicious. From the signs around the restaurant it appears they won't be there after July, so let's hope they find a new home and that the pub has a new chef/cook/restaurant lined up to replace them.

Brand new bistro has amazing food, Better than I’ve ever had at TFI Each dish is served so professionally with so many rich and delicious flavours. I ate a rump lunch special, the 200g steak was a perfect size so that I could eat it all and not be hungry afterwards Leonie the cashier was lovely also And bar staff are very helpful and kind Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back

I have know the Family inn for a long time as I grew up in the area. I only revisited the Family inn as I was told the food had changed and the chief was pretty good. We had the ribs as suggested by my friend. I am still thinking of them today. Flavour, soft and tender cooked for 7 hours the best I have had that I can remember, a must try.

The restaurant staff (cook and service) have changed and it really is a welcome difference. Serving size has increased, cost is mostly the same, the bar hasn't changed (I personal don't drink but my friend do) and there's no difference the. Sports action is on and you can use your ALH membership card here.

Staff are always down to earth and friendly. We haven’t had a bad meal here. The value for money is outstanding and we will keep coming for the great family atmosphere and well priced food and drinks.

The Staff are the funniest, whittest shelas ive met in a very long time. If you want a true blue pub, you wont find one in the area as true as this one. The food is cheap and very decent sizes. On weekends they even have a jumping castle for the kids!
