Good country pub, cold beer, friendly service and a big menu packed with choice and all around quality and well priced meals. Membership is free to access member prices. Only downside to note would be the rolls for the roast pork and gravy are the wrong shape.

Stopped for a drink and a light lunch. Logged in at door covid check-in. Bought drinks at bar, lovely young lady helped us with menus, told us where the rest rooms were etc. Ordered a roast pork and gravy roll with chips. Hubby are the chips and I had the roll. The roll was fresh, pork was chopped up into small pieces and was soaked in gravy. Very messy to eat as gravy was all over the roll and plate. Tasty ok. Nice staff in kitchen too.

Saw an ad for $9 meals on Wednesday and Thursday night. Decided to go try it out. Amazing food and large portion sizes.. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Well worth the drive to visit. Next time will be a Tuesday for stone cooked pizza.

Doggone it! Today I was paw-tunate enough to visit the labr-adorable Big Golden Dog at Glenreagh. No ifs or mutts, it was an un-fur-gettable experience and you'd be barking mad not to drop in. The hotel nextdoor to the humongous hound is a pup-ular spot, and I even had a beer or ca-nine!

Wow! Just WOW! Great food and service at the Dog. After arriving for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon, to find the carpark full and people everywhere, we were thinking that we would be waiting for at least an hour for lunch. Not so, in less than 20 minutes we were served our meals - which were huge! I had a Works Burger - which came with chips - $15. Needed a knife and fork it was that big. Really nice pub, clean toilets, nice outdoor area & very friendly staff. Great value for money, compared to some places charging $20+ for a small serve of anything. True country value for money at this pub.

The country drive to the Golden dog hotel is very relaxing. When you arrive at Glenriegh it is a very tranquil place. The hotel has alot of character & warmth to it. Meals are generous. Good place for a family lunch or picnic

We arrived in town after a 8hr drive and 30 mins before the kitchen closed. They were so nice and allowed us to do a take away order. While we waited the bar staff were super friendly and nice. Once the food came we took it home and omg! That was the best schnitzel we had in a very long time. It was moist and delicious. The steak was well cooked and gravy’s were flavorful. The portion sizes were generous and good value for money. We loved the food and service so much we went back the very next night and had dinner and drinks again. It’s a small town and a small pub but the relaxed welcoming atmosphere made it. Classic cute and just worth the visit.

We came in for lunch just after midday (here sponsoring Camp Coffs, in a new location) and despite 3 separete food dockets, all of our food hit the table within 10min. My partner and i had the works burger and it was 10/10! Total nostalgia to the works burgers you USED to get in your local fish & chip shop... but better. Clean through out, cold tap beer and clean glasses, covid concious, with lively, energetic and personable staff, we hope to god Camp Coffs chooses to come back! If only for the convenience of grabbing a top notch counter meal within stumbling distance of the grounds at this little gem!

Took mum to have lunch. I ordered the chicken schnitzel mash and veg. Mum ordered the works burger. When the meals arrived it was very large. I have to say that it was the juiciest chicken I have ever had, and the mash was creamy, veg had just the right amount of bit to it. Just managed to finish it. Mum's burger was massive, she cut it in half to eat but no matter how much she tried her mouth was not big enough. She finally gave up and used a knife and fork. She said it was the biggest and best burger she's had in years. We will be heading back for lunch again very soon, and I'll bring my 2 18yr old with us. I know they won't leave hungry.

Great pub with great food! An easy 40 mins drive from Coffs Harbour. Very friendly staff. Prices are pretty good but meal portions are huge so you get excellent value for money. And the food quality is fantastic. Highly recommended place to stop if you are out that way.

The best chicken Parma I have had in a very long time. Large, house made sauce, not too much cheese, excellent crumbed crust. Other meals ordered in our group were also excellent. Definitely recommended.

It's newer but, extremely small. There's a big space under the door. Lots of bugs crawling/ getting in, so we had to plug it. Frogs got under the door in the room next to us.

Good Pub food, with often great stuff on daily Specials board. Even when very busy, I haven't had to wait long. Reasonable prices, sometimes they seem to have very cheap Specials, more often at lunch it seems. Different specials every night. They told me they always get a different fresh fish on Friday, which is always on the Specials board. Sunday night is always a Roast. Friendly staff. I realised recently that I particularly like to sit outside out the back, just before sun set the sky can be very pretty & a nice view of the trees & hills.
