Great pub in the heart of Pyrmont. Good selection of tap beers and other alcohol, the food is very good and they do some amazing pizzas. Worth stopping in or setting up for a session!

The food was delicious, had a pizza and the burgers and were all so tasty! The cocktails had to be some of the best cocktails I’ve had in Pyrmont! The happy hour is 4-6 with some $10 cocktails & $4 beers! Definitely will be back

Couldn't fault this place and would give 100 stars if I could. The service is amazing, the staff are friendly and very approachable. The food is absolutely excellent. Highly recommend booking for a Sunday Roast. 10/10. Hat off to the chef! They also have live music on a Sunday which creates a really nice cosy Sunday vibe. Will definitely visit again.

Great little gem. Cheap beers,great atmosphere and the Barman Ben, done a great job, Very accommodating and informative for us guys from out of town. walked in for a beer and ended up there for a few hours amazing service. 2 thumbs up guys👍👍

Update Feb 2022 **** Yes, it's changed since my previous review of 2020. But I still recommend. Especially during happy hour. And the food is still outstanding. Original review (2020): We popped in mid-week to give the place a try two weeks after they launched, and I'm glad we did. My wife ordered a beefbuger and chips with a side of crispy bacon, I opted for the fettuccini with beef ragu. We shared a side order of wilted greens which were the highlight for me - very garlicky. After placing the order we were provided with a complimentary appetizer - a nice touch you don't see often these days. All dishes were perfectly cooked and nicely presented. Service was cheerful, prompt and efficient - checking back frequently during the meal to ensure we were happy. Although, we had certainly eaten our fill with the generous portions, we succumbed and finished the meal by sharing a tiramisu - which was crowned with whole hazelnuts and truly delicious The house shiraz - Mystic Park from the Barossa - was somewhat pricey at $11 per glass, but of good quality. No BYO. Complimentary WiFi - ask for password. Surcharge for use of credit card. (Edit: Don't visit on a Friday evening, if you are an older age group - really loud because of the clientele and acoustics.)

Those who follow and look at my reviews would know I hardly give 5*. This is one of those rare moments when I take sip of my coffee and I smile. Flavour? Smooth and rich ✔️ milk texture? Nice and creamy ☑️ coffee temperature? 60-65ç ✅. The team were efficient and kept the line moving quickly. You will be surprised how hard it is to find a good coffee. This place is one of a handful of places I would recommend that you get out of your way to try.

It was OK the crackle on the pork belly was chewie could do with a bit of hot griller action to crisp it. The beef lasagne was poorly microwaved where it was hot on the outside Luke warm on the inside. Stick with the Pizza.

We tried this place for their pizzas and instantly fell in love. We came on a weeknight so the place was not that busy. The bar has really good selection of alcohol. the service was very efficient and the pizzas simply blew us away. They even do gluten free bases which i reckon are one of the best we ever had. I would happily visit again.

Have been here before for drinks but first time eating. Food was really good being some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Drinks fantastic and excellent friendly attentive service. Would definetly recommend for any one who likes a quality cocktail or Italian food. The decor is really modern which sets it apart, in a good way, from other eateries and pubs in the area which have more traditional fitout. Will definitely go again.

My mate and I visited The Laneway Pyrmont this past weekend and were blown away by the food and service. We started off with a couple of dishes but ended up doubling our order and trying other dishes. Everyone of them were amazing and we'll be visiting more frequently. It's a great addition to the area and more people need to know about this new venue. My favorite is the Pesto Gnocchi with Ricotta!!! Soft pillows of goodness!!

Visited for dinner before a show at the lyric theatre, the manager pretty much new we needed to be at the show on time and accommodated us instantly, informed us of cooking times that may impact our schedule. The food and cocktails were amazing, great portions, great service, highly recommend.

Great spot for a drink, specially for people watching in the terrace on a sunny day. The service is really good also. We didn't have the chance to try the food yet but they got some good looking antipasto platters and a proper woodfire oven, looking forward to try it some time soon.

I had a fabulous Saturday night at The Laneway last weekend. It had a great vibe, great aesthetic plus very friendly and attentive staff. We devoured some delicious cocktails and shared some equally scrumptious food! Do yourselves a favour and pop by, if for nothing less than the deliciously authentic wood fire pizza, but getting some extras won't disappoint either :)

Had such a lovely experience here. The ragú and penne were incredible. Really impressed with the food! The tiramisu was a highlight as well as the signature cocktails.
